Chapter 732Chapter 732
Brycen's words immediately snapped Walter and Lara back into reality.
They were stunned as they continued to listen to Brycen. "Molly is already being very nice to forget about the past and sit at the same table
to have a meal with you both. So, please don't get over your heads.
"Even grandpa and I wouldn't ask when Molly will get married or how her relationship with Sean is going, so there's really no reason for you
to get involved. Otherwise, you could only blame yourselves if Molly decided to cut you off entirely."
Walter and Lara became silent after what Brycen said.
And, Lara regretted what she did very much!
The alcohol really did her dirty. She already knew that Molly dislike her, and there was just no way that Molly would let her decide when she
should get married.
Walter's face turned apologetic as if he was feeling guilty about what he had said just now.
'Why did I even say that? I wish I could give myself a big slap right now!'
As for Molly, she had no words for what just happened.
'Can't she just keep her mouth shut and enjoy the meal?’
There was no reason for Molly to stay there anymore since she could not do that. So, she stood up
right away, grabbed her kids, and walked out of the room.
"Alex, Ben, Claudia, let's go home. Grandpa, enjoy your meal. I'm leaving now."
Then, she left the room without looking back.Tony immediately stood up too and pushed Sean out.
After they left, Grandpa Dave glared at Walter and Lara. "Is this what you wanted? She's gone now.
Are you happy?" He scolded them.
’I...’ Lara felt so bad that she could not even look at Grandpa Dave.
Walter felt just as guilty as Lara. He pounded the table and said, "I only said that because I still treat
her as my daughter. I wanted her to live a stable life as soon as possible. Was I wrong?'
'You were wrong for minding Molly's business!"
Grandpa Dave went off at them without holding back. 'You never cared about her all these years, and
you even did something to hurt her! I know that you've realized your mistakes now, but Molly isn't over
it yet. Do you think it's possible for her to be your little daughter and listen to everything you say?'
Clearly, it was not.
Brycen sighed and said, "Mom, dad, let's just see if Molly would be so generous and forgive you."
Molly exhaled deeply out of relief as soon as she stepped out of the restaurant.
She finally did not have to hear those commanding words from Walter and Lara at the table!
After that, Molly got into the Rolls-Royce with the triplets, and they went back home with Sean.
On their way back, Sean could clearly feel that Molly still had anger boiling inside of her from what happened back there. So, he decided to
leave her alone and let her calm down.
Sean told Tony to pour Molly a glass of water as soon as they got back. Then, he comforted her patiently. "Don't be mad. We won't eat them
anymore if you don't like your parents.""I'm definitely not going to eat with them anymore."
Molly held her forehead. Perhaps it was the alcohol, as she felt a little headache. Then, she took a deep breath and said, "The best that I can
do is to not hate them. But, they shouldn't tell me what to do just because they gave birth to me. After all, all these years..."
Lara and Walter had never treated her like their daughter all those years.
So, who were they to involve themselves in her personal life?
Was it obligatory for Molly to forgive them just because they realized their mistakes?
Molly was not having that at all!
