Chapter 596Chapter 596
He explained the purpose of his visit with an expectant look in his eyes. And, at that moment, he also noticed the things on the
table. He had seen them before, and they were for Sawyer.
Molly stared at him and said with a soft but hesitant voice, "That's not very appropriate, isn't it?"
'Of course, I can help. But, that has to depend on the occasion.'
"It's not appropriate for me to accompany you, isn't it?" Molly said again.
No matter how big the party was, it was still a family dinner. The nature and significance of bringing her to this occasion were
obviously different. Besides, everyone knew what Sean's mother was up to. If she tagged along to the party, it would give the
impression that she was trying to make her presence felt, and Mrs. Anderson would just think that she was a nuisance. Acting as
a shield for Sean was going to be a tough job.
"It's okay. I'll be with you." Sean reassured her.
'How is it okay?' Molly subconsciously stared at him. "It's your family party. It will give the impression of
meeting the parents."
"No harm done. If you attend, I will explain that you are just my partner, nothing else." Sean locked his
eyes on her. "Of course, if you want to think it that way, I don't mind either."
Molly felt as though his eyes had burned into hers, she glanced away, picked up the grinding tool, and
fiddled with it straight away.
Knowing that he was still staring at her, she whispered, "I'm not." 'I have never not seen that as
meeting the parents. Besides, I'm not even his girlfriend. No, no, no. What am I thinking?' Molly ground
the herbs harder, as she was desperate to get those thoughts out of her head.Sean had a smile in his eyes. His smile grew broader when he noticed her blushed cheeks. "So, that
means you agree?" He asked softly, watching her keep mashing the things in her hands.
The triplets had been playing in the sand for many hours, and when they heard that it was almost time,
they hurriedly dropped their little shovels and came running over. They also flashed a smile at Sean,
who was facing them, as if to say, "Don't worry."
Sean could not resist returning a smile. He knew that this was a sure thing as Molly could not possibly
say no to her triplets, who were her soft spot.
The triplets came up to Molly and pretended to be ignorant. " Mommy, agree to what?"
"There is a party that rd like to invite your mommy to," Sean spoke up first to explain.
"Won't there be lots of good food? Mommy, let's go then," Ben spoke excitedly.
Alex glanced back and forth at Molly and Sean. "Mommy, Uncle Sean is inviting you, so if you don't go..."
"Uncle Sean will be sad." Claudia got the hint and picked up where Alex left off.
"That's right. If I were to invite someone, I would feel sad to get rejected." Ben pouted as if he had really been mercilessly
rejected.
Molly saw this and looked up at Sean. He was good-looking and had an outstanding temperament. If he was sad, that look would
be regrettably sorry. She could not help but start imagining, and her ears were filled with words of encouragement from her
triplets. At last, she relented. "Okay, I'll go."
Sean did not give her any more room to hesitate and immediately said, "I will have the dress sent over tonight."
"Okay." Molly agreed. He looked at the triplets, and they all chuckled silently as if giving each other kudos for their well-done cooperation.
