Chapter 711Chapter 711
"See you tomorrow," Sean said faintly.
Then, Molly and her kids walked into their house while Sean went back to his.
The aroma of the dishes spread across the room and the triplets cheered before they even entered their home. "Yay! Mr. Philip
must've cooked something amazing!"
However, the four of them were stunned when they entered the living room.
Molly immediately saw Lara and Walter sitting formally on the couch.
When they saw Molly with the kids, they quickly stood up to greet her.
"You're back, Molly."
Lara said with a warm expression.
Molly looked at them, stupefied for a second. Her brows subconsciously came together to a knot as she said with a cold
expression, "Mr. and Mrs. May, what brings you here?"
She even sounded like she did not want them to be here!
Walter immediately got angry when he heard Molly addressing him as "Mr. May". "Is this the way you
talk to your elders, Molly?! " he scolded.
"Walter!"
Lara quickly tugged on the edge of his shirt to remind him to watch his attitude.
The purpose of their visit was to apologize to their daughter.Lara did not want things to go south.
In an instant, Walter realized that he had acted rudely.
So, he lowered his voice and patiently explained, "Molly, don't hold such a strong animosity against me
and your mother, okay? We're here to see you and the kids today.
"We brought these for you and the kids today. These snacks and supplements are all important. Have
some. When you run out of them, your mother and I will bring some over again."
The coffee table in the living room was filled with things that were personally chosen by Walter and
Lara before they were sent over.
It was not every day that they visited Molly, so they obviously came prepared.
Grandpa Dave did not want them to meet Molly as he was worried that they would argue.
But, when he saw his son and daughter-in-law rushing over with bags of presents, he could feel their
sincerity, which was why he agreed to let them stay.
After all, a happy family is an early heaven!
Unfortunately, Molly did not accept it.
She smirked coldly when she looked at the things on the table. "Is that so? Sorry for the trouble, but my
kids and I don't need these. Please bring them home with you!
"The most you can do for me is stay out of my life."
Then, she was going to head upstairs with her children. However, Lara's voice rang behind her. "Molly..."
Her voice was full of sorrow and despair.
She fought back her sadness and said, "I know I did many terrible things to you in the past. I'm not asking for your forgiveness,
but I'm here to tell you something. Can you leave after you hear me out, please?"
Molly stood still.
She never expected Lara to talk to her in such a humble tone.
Suddenly, she froze on the spot.
Lara was very clear that the reason Molly did not want to care about them was that she was filled with a grudge!
After all, she had done too many heart-breaking things to her daughter!
Even Lara herself found it hard to forgive herself for what she had done, let alone Molly.
But still, she wanted to speak her mind out since she had already come over.
