Chapter 88 Fairy and Demon
Yao Tang glanced at the garments in question. Sure enough, the logo showing flamingo wings was exposed. “It’s a high-quality imitation,” she said in a dismissive tone.
The makeup artist visibly sighed in relief.
Right, getting one’s hands on this particular brand of clothes was considered a feat.
More to the point, the brand had never been put out in the market. They had a very exclusive clientele, and the common society had no access to them at all.!!
Yao Tang picked up the dress and went to change into it.
Sheng Ting had one of the most beautiful faces in show business, so he didn’t take long on the makeup chair. He had very little need of it, after all. Still, it took some time to get his hair done.
He stared at his reflection now, lost in his thoughts.
He had only ever seen Yao Tangin black or white before, but now she was going to wear red.
Sheng Ting wasn’t sure what to expect.
When he emerged from his dressing room later, Yao Tang’s door was still shut.
He raised a curious eyebrow at that, but he eventually sauntered off to discuss some scenes with the crew.
This might be a footage shoot, but they still needed to rehearse their dance number live.
Not that it was going to be an issue. Sheng TingandYao Tangshared a good foundation. They had worked together multiple times in the past, and were already comfortable with each other. They should be able to breeze through the rehearsals.
Twenty minutes later, Sheng TingandBian Chiwere looking toward the red stage, discussingYao Tang’s entrance into the scene.
“God Yao,” came Xiao Zhou’s voice from the side. Though her voice was soft, the shock that came with it was unmistakable.
Sheng Ting paused. His fingers unconsciously curled into his palm as he slowly turned around.
A figure in red appeared in his line of sight, taking his breath away.
Yao Tang was wearing a skirt made of what looked like irregular patches of red gauze sewn in layers. She had on red Dr. Martens boots that came all the way up to her calves, making her slender legs seem even longer.
A strap of red feathers served as a belt, cinching her flowy dress tight around her waist.
The bodice of her dress was made of satin, and it tapered perfectly to the shape of her torso. It had no sleeves, except for strands of red ribbons that hung over her shoulders down to her porcelain arms.
Her black hair was curled into messy waves that swayed with her every step. Her makeup lent a fierce edge to her gorgeous face, the red eyeliner accentuating the wicked glint in her eyes.
Yao Tang looked like a fairy and a demon at the same time.
Sheng Ting swallowed audibly. “Damn it all to hell, Boss! You… You are simply too much!”
He couldn’t even find enough words to describe her. He felt like mere words wouldn’t do her justice.
The fiery color seemed to have brought out the devilish streak she had been keeping under the wraps all this time.
It was magnificent to behold.
All eyes were fixed on Yao Tangas she walked forward.
They had never met someone who could carry the color red in such an earth-shattering manner.
Soon, people started to whip out their phones and took photos of this remarkable moment. That face alone could defeat countless top celebrities in the industry.
Yao Tang walked confidently and betrayed no emotion on her face. She stopped in front ofSheng Tingand crossed her arms over her chest. “Let’s rehearse the dance first,” she said indifferently.
Sheng Ting gathered himself and nodded, though he was still rather distracted.
They proceeded to practice the choreography, with Yao Tangdirecting most of the movements, whileBian Chitook care of the camera angles and shooting sequence. “All right, Yao Tang,” he called out after some time. “Shen Ting will go first, and you’ll walk through that door during the cue.”
She nodded lightly, as if this was just another mundane day.
Bian Chi swept another glance around the venue. “The two of you will be seated in the middle.Sheng Ting’s team will take charge of the whole arrangement.”
By the time they did the first full rehearsal, Sheng Tinghad total confidence inYao Tang’s choreography
She was simply one with the rhythm, from the tip of her fingers to the heels of her feet. There was an allure to her that appealed to both men and women, making her the only object of their attention the moment she took the stage. Most notable of all was the way she managed to blend both harsh and sultry movements into the dance.
She gave off an aura that made people feel she was unattainable, but of course, this only made her appear all the more seductive.

It was all Sheng Ting could do not to be swept away by the mood and the energy that thrummed between their bodies.
They had to get close to each other several times, with barely an inch separating their skin. There might not be much physical contact throughout the dance, but the suggestive way that their limbs arced around each other was more than enough to put ideas in the audience’s heads.
Finally, the rehearsal came to an end.
Bian Chi jumped to his feet, his eyes bright with excitement. “Okay! That was perfect! That’s exactly the effect we’re going for. All right, get the extras ready. We’re about to film the whole thing now.”
The stylist took the opportunity to rush forward and retouch some details in Sheng TingandYao Tang’s appearance. Based on the time it took for them to do a full rehearsal, the filming itself shouldn’t take long. Two hours would probably be enough.
Yao Tang took out her phone and sentCheng Yana message.
Sheng Ting glanced sideways at her, noticing the way her eyes lit up. He didn’t like it for some unknown reason.
“Shall we have dinner together later?” he asked in a relaxed tone. Yao Tang shifted her weight from one leg to another. Her fingers were busy typing on her phone, and she didn’t look up when she replied, “I have something to do tonight.”
“I see,” Sheng Tingsaid regretfully, mustering a small smile. “Next time, then.”
There would be plenty of opportunities for them to get together in the future, anyway.
