other places we should visit,” Jenny said, turning around to leave.

“If you promise to be my girlfriend, I’ll kneel however long you want me to,” Alec replied hurriedly. He
didn’t have a problem with kneeling; he was just afraid Jenny wouldn’t say yes to him.

Instead of answering, Jenny took the ring from his hand. “Didn’t you give me a New Year’s gift before? I
thought you were going to confess with that ring.”
