After releasing Byakur, Jason didn't even take a single glance at the being whose spine he had just broken.
Instead, he exerted the Hermes Celeration technique with moonlight transmuted mana and the divine energy that was merged within.
The combined force allowed him to catapult himself right in front of the closest Ascendion stage cultivator that was in fact an Aeus, whose wings were already about to freeze.
Jason's appearance was similar to that of an Aeus, yet, completely different, which was confusing.
Yet, instead of worrying about this, the Aeus lifted the spear it was holding in an attempt to deflect Jason's attack.
It was only then that it noticed that Byakur started to shrink the moment it was supposed to collide with the spear.
It was barely a fraction of a second later that Jason thrust out with Byakur that enlarged once again, reaching the size of a normal short sword.
Piercing through the neck of the astonished Aeus, Byakur finished it off.
The Aeus took its last breath without knowing what or how Jason was able to avoid the spear that was ought to block his attack.
Without looking back, Jason simply grasped the dying Aeus before he threw it in the direction of the biggest group of Cultivators that was about to attack him.
This allowed him to distract them for a fraction of a second. It was more than enough to enlarge Byakur while manifesting several hundreds of icicles in a radius through which his Arctic aura permeated the surroundings.
Following that, the icicles that had been manifested out of divine energy had merged with the moonlight transmuted mana. The use of the drastically enhanced ice affinity of Artemis, pointed towards the group before they were shot out.
It was just a moment later that Jason heard several painful cries, only for his eyes that had turned sky blue to perceive something from his right.
The foresight blessing that had also received severe enhancements owing to Sira's cultivation process and the Runic circle's enhancements allowed him to perceive an attack from his right.
Thus, he didn't pay any more attention to the group of Cultivators he had just attacked with the icicles.
Instead, he manifested a sky blueish-silver wall of flames in that direction before he shot upwards into the sky.
Afterward, dozens of fireballs of the same color manifested around him before they were thrown in that direction.
At the same time, a fireball exploded behind him pushing Jason in the direction of the attack.
Flapping his wings to maintain his balance, he smiled lighty.
He felt exhilarated at finally being able to control his body and affinities almost perfectly, while he inserted more mana in Byakur simultaneously.
Through this, the longsword began to vibrate lightly as he slashed out at the Devir, who had attempted to attack him backhandedly, using his entire strength.
With enough mana that was strengthened by divine energy and the moonlight affinity circulating through Byakur, in addition to the extraordinary physical strength of Jason, he was able to overwhelm the Devir when they first clashed upon each other.
Forcing the Devir to retreat, Jason's eyes began to gleam brightly.
He instinctively exerted the strengthened version of the petrification curse, which was more than enough to restrict the Devir for a short moment.
After all, the curses he harbored had also been enhanced through the customized Inheritance he had received inside the dungeon!
Using this momentum to lean his body forward, he thrust Byakur into the Devir's abdomen, who could only gasp in shock. Simultaneously, he also released the sky blueish-silver flame that began to suddenly envelop its blade.
Owing to that, it was only a moment later that the Devir was on the brink of death.
As it took its last breaths, the number of opponents Jason had to defeat had decreased by one.
However, the fight was far from over, and the opponents that had been hit by the icicles might be injured, but this didn'T mean they were dead.
They were visibly affected by the freezing property of his ice affinity that had undergone several amplifications, yet that didn't mean Jason could lower his guard.
Yet, he kept his cool and used a fraction of a second to fill the entire area with his Arctic aura. He enclosed it with icicles and sky blueish-silver fireballs before he shot them out towards the remaining opponents.
A moment later, he turned his head to take a quick glance at Jennifer to see how she was faring.
Seeing that she was fine, he smiled lightly before he returned his attention to the fight.
He might be overwhelming his opponents right now, but Jason knew that he should never underestimate his opponents. There might be existences similar to the Primordial races, whose imitations aka the lesser puppets, had already been more powerful than him!
Thus, Jason remained vigilant even after his Emperor Eyes had swept through his opponents.
He noticed that not a single sign inside their body indicated that they were powerful, let alone that they possessed any kind of unique cultivation technique.
As such, they were just normal cultivators, without anything special about them.
Because of that, Jason felt that the fight was not as intense as he had initially presumed it to be.
However, that was just another sign that clearly indicated to him how powerful he had become throughout the last three years he spent in the dungeon.
Knowing that he didn't waste his time was great, and even more so was figuring out that he was already able to defeat someone at the Ascendion stage.
According to his cultivation base, he should be quite far from reaching that stage after all!
Thus, he was overjoyed about his current combat prowess, and couldn't hold back his excitement anymore. It was clearly visible in the Arctic aura that became even stronger due to his emotions just like it was the case for normal Celestias!
Through this, his control of everything that had to do even remotely with the ice affinity became much easier. It allowed Jason to control even more icicles and fireballs with which he attacked the remaining beings at the Ascendion stage.
After throwing the icicles and fireballs at his opponents, he heard their pained cries reverberating through the surrounding, but Jason didn't show any mercy.
Instead, he continued to manifest more batches of icicles and fireballs which he once again flung at his opponents.
Owing to Artemis' trait to convert moonlight in mana…or what Jason presumed it to be, he could continue to use up tremendous amounts of mana until the full moon would be over, but that was not what he did.
Instead, he threw only a few batches of hundreds of icicles and fireballs at his opponents before he began to exert the Hermes Celeration technique.
Finishing off the remaining opponents one after another, Jason simultaneously picked up their spatial rings before appearing in front of Jennifer just a moment later.
With a bright smile on his face, Jason slowly terminated the fusion he had with Artemis, reverting to his original appearance as his golden eyes stared straight at Jennifer.
Unbeknownst to Jennifer, the seemingly simple eye contact she made with Jason brought back vivid memories of her recent horrific past.
Every single horrifying incident she had witnessed or been a part of was etched into her memory.
Despite that, somehow after seeing Jason, the intensity of those memories visibly decreased.
She was not scared of them, not anymore.
Instead, Jennifer felt oddly reassured as she returned Jason's smile, a single tear trickling down her cheek as she said.
"Welcome back…dummy!"
