He used to hate her Chapter 14

" Uh...Henry...Henry's your friend. You know him and you know me too," I told but all he did was stared
at me blankly.

" I don't know who you are. And I have no idea who's Henry. Why am I here? What the hell happened
to me? I can't remember anything." Xander started to panic and his gaze shifted from me and the
doctor.

" What's wrong with him? Answer me," I demanded the doctor right at the moment.

" I'm sorry. We have no idea how it happened. He lost his memory. From what I know, he got hit way
too hard. He would have died if you came a minute later. Something might have caused this problem."
the doctor replied while Xander has a panicked and angry look on his face. Before I could ask further
question to the doctor, Xander threw a glass and pushed the nearest table down.

" No, No, Xander. Calm down." I said but it wasn't enough.

" How the hell am I? I can't even remember my name. I don't want to be here anymore." He yelled as
he got out of the bed and tried to take the bandage from his hands.

The doctor tried to calm him down but Xander doesn't give any attention to anyone. Then he went
outside to get some nurse to control him.

" Listen to me. Your name is Xander. You can't leave in this state. Please, don't try to take the bandage
off your hand. You are hurt." I tried to explain as I took small steps towards him.

" Why do you care about me? I don't know you. Either do you." His hands went to the bandage on his
head.

" I know you and you just don't remember me. I will help you. I will help you get back your memories." I
lied, getting hold of his right hand. I have no idea if there's a way to get his memories back but I will try



to help him.

" Do you really know me? Who you are to me? Why did I end up here?" He asked, looking at me
helplessly.

" I'm...You are my regular customer at the dinner I used to work. I know you well. I was near you when
a car hit me while you were talking on the phone. I admitted you here after that. Can you please calm
down, Xander? Please," I explained as some nurses came inside. He doesn't need anyone to control
him. Now, he's back to normal.

" You saved me," He whispered silently and sat on the bed.

" Thanks for coming but I can manage him now," I told the nurses and the doctor entered again. As
Xander sat quietly, I had a conversation with the doctor on how to solve this. Right now, there's no
solution. But someone has to be there to take care of him. It would be me until his parents and Henry
comes here.

When the doctor, It's only me and Xander. He isn't looking like himself. Something's going on his mind.
He's suffering from the pain in his body and the pain of not knowing who he is.

" What's your name?" He broke the silence.

" Madison,"

" Thanks for saving me," he simply said. If he asked more question, I have to lie for sure. A lie that he's
my regular customer. That's all the lie I could make all of a sudden. But when he gets memory, he's
going to hate me more for it. Will he or will he not?

The servants cleaned up the mess after some minutes. Xander went back to sleep again. Suddenly, I
got a call from Henry. How am I going to explain this to him.



" Hello,"

" His parents contacted the hospital and transferred the money, Madison. They got the information that
he's awake. They will visit him in some days. How is he? Is he awake? Can I talk to him?" Henry
asked.

"There's an issue in it, Henry. Xander lost his memory. He doesn't remember anyone. He almost made
a mess in his room. You need to tell his parents about this."

" He lost his memory? How? I never thought this would happen. Did he forgot everyone he knows?"

" Yeah, he doesn't even his remember name. But we should be grateful. He would have died. Atleast,
that doesn't happen."

" But this is worse equal to death, Madison. How he's going to live like this for the rest of his life if he
never gets his memory back."

" I don't know, Henry. Let's not think about it. I wish there's a way he could get his memory back." I
wished for it even if might affect me.

" There should be a way. I'm sorry for letting you manage this all alone. I swear I will come in a week. If
I weren't far away, I would have been there at this time, Madison."

" You don't need to apologize, Henry. I can take care of him for a week until his parents and you are
back." I told him. After we hung up, I wasn't in a mood to call anyone. When Sofia comes here
tomorrow, I will explain everything to her. I know she will be a little bit angry that I'm going to take care
of someone who hated me for ages.

I signed and sat in a chair next to Xander's bed. " I heard you," Suddenly, he spoke while lying in bed.

" What?"



" I heard you talked on the phone. Is Henry my friend?"

" Yeah, he's so close to you."

" If I was your regular customer in some dinner. How do you know my friend?" H asked and made me
think to make up a lie.

" Henry's my friend too. That's how I know you when I met you at dinner. We know a little about each
other."

" Oh, there's no point in hearing it all, when my name isn't make any sense to me."

I don't know how to consult him at this stage. Whatever he's saying is right. I stayed silent without a
reply.

" Am I an orphan all my life?" He asked. A millionaire's boy asks me whether he's an orphan.

" Hell, no. Why would you think that?"

" Then why nobody's here to visit me except you. You talked with Henry but he's not here. You talked
with him about my parents but there's no one here. So, all I could think that I don't have anyone."

" You are probably talking like this because you don't remember anything, Xander. Maybe it's better if
you go back to sleep. I know that you have many person's who care about me. I will fill you with
everything tomorrow." I promised him.

" Why can't it be now? I'm feeling so bad. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't remember a single thing
about myself. Even if I'm tired, I couldn't sleep with literally no memories." He firmly said. He seriously
wants all answers now. But this isn't the right time.



" You are stressing yourself. Let go and sleep now. I promise you, I will tell you everything I know,
Xander. You're name's going to make sense to you soon. I promise you." I told surely. I don't know how
I'm going to do it, but I will do it for him no matter how many days or months or years it takes.

He was unsure for a moment and nodded. " I will just go sleep outside in a chair. Good night, Xander," I
told him and about to walk out of the room. But his hand grasped mine. I turned back in confusion. My
heart beats faster when my skin gets in contact with his.

" Sorry," He removed his hand and continued. " I can't deny the fact that I still don't remember anything
about you. But can you just stay in this room?"
