Chapter 207: He Really Cares a Lot About You!
Shi Beiyu did not know what to say. “I thought you had forgotten about it.”
Mu Siyin blushed as she hung her head low and said in embarrassment, “I wasn’t expecting to fall sick.”
Upon hearing this, Shi Beiyu stood up from the sofa. Mu Siyin looked up the moment she heard the noise. By then, he had already leaned down toward her, held her waist, and carried her up from the sofa.
Mu Siyin was too tiny. To Shi Beiyu, carrying her was as easy as carrying a doll.
Mu Siyin panicked. “Y-You want to…”
Seeing how nervous she looked, Shi Beiyu could not help but laugh. “Don’t worry about it. I’m no beast.”
Not to mention sick, Mu Siyin had also lost a lot of energy after being possessed by Mu Siyun. Why would he touch her when her body was so weak?
Mu Siyin laid against his chest in relief as he placed her onto the bed.
She did not know whether the fatigue was because of the drugs or her fever. Not long after she laid on the bed, Mu Siyin dozed off once again.
Worry crept up Shi Beiyu’s heart when he saw how tired she was.
She had been sleeping since the afternoon and had only woken up just now. How could she sleep again now?
Was it normal?
Shi Beiyu found it hard to sleep that night.
By the time Mu Siyin woke up, she realized the space next to her was unexpectedly empty.
In the past, he would always be there whenever she opened her eyes. However, where was he today?
After a long rest last night, Mu Siyin was in high spirits, and her neck did not hurt that much anymore either. She did a long stretch before she sat up and got out of bed.
Luckily it was a Saturday that day. Otherwise, she would probably be late now.
After washing herself up, Mu Siyin headed downstairs.
Somehow, Shi Beiyu was nowhere to be seen in the living room too.
Upon noticing Mu Siyin’s presence, Uncle Zhong instantly grinned as he paced forward. Then, he sized her up from head to toe. “Are you feeling better, Little Siyin?”
Mu Siyin smiled and nodded her head. “Yeah! I’m all good now. Thanks for your concern, Uncle Zhong.”
At that, Uncle Zhong looked at her emotionally. “You don’t know how anxious Little Beibei was when you fell sick yesterday, Little Siyin! He really cares a lot about you!”
A warm, fuzzy feeling suddenly filled her heart when she heard this, and she smiled. “Yeah, I know.”
“It’s good that you know. You should treat our little Beibei that well too.”
Mu Siyin nodded her head awkwardly. “Yeah.”
Uncle Zhong wanted to talk more when Shi Beiyu happened to walk out from the corridor. “You’re awake?”
Seeing the noble Shi Beiyu walking towards her, Mu Siyin’s heart fluttered inexplicably, and sweetness welled up in her. “Yeah.”
Shi Beiyu looked at Uncle Zhong and said, “You can serve breakfast now, Uncle Zhong.”
“Okay.”
Shi Beiyu lifted a hand and pulled Mu Siyin over to him. “Do you still feel unwell?”
Mu Siyin grinned as she shook her head. “No. I’m fine now.”
Shi Beiyu nodded his head. “That’s good to hear. But the temperature has dropped in the past two days. You can’t afford to fall sick now.”
“Okay.”
Shi Beiyu brought Mu Siyin to the dining room. Just as they sat down, he looked at her and said, “Later, you should take a good rest at home. I’ll be going out to run some errands.”
Mu Siyin paused for a while and blinked before she nodded her head. “Oh. Okay.”
After breakfast, Shi Beiyu instructed the servants to take absolute care of Mu Siyin before he left. As Mu Siyin watched his car disappear from her sight, she suddenly felt bored. She was still coming up with ideas on what to do when Ji Yang suddenly gave her a call.
In an instant, her eyes glinted brightly…
