Lu Jingchen pulled her to the side of the car before yanking open the car door and pushed her inside.
The whole world came to a halt the moment he shut the door.
Lu Jingchen got in the car and looked at how lost Mu Siyin looked. He murmured, “Do you believe me now?”
Mu Siyin’s body stiffened, and she gazed out of the window in a daze without replying to him.
Lu Jingchen did not know what to do either. His aim was not to make her sad. He just wanted her to come to terms with reality. He wanted her to know that there were millions of gullies between her and Shi Beiyu.
Their relationship would never last long.
