Chapter 69: You Can Imply It As I Miss You Too
A black skyscraper stood in the middle of the capital.
Sun shone brightly onto the black building, which radiated with golden rays.
Three bold words ‘Emperor Dynasty Corporation’ stood plastered on the front of the building.
These three words had a deep significance and could not be explained in a few words. In short, the Emperor Dynasty Corporation was Asia’s business leader.
At the top of the building stood the President’s office. Dressed in a black suit, Shi Beiyu stood next to a French window, holding a glass of wine in his left hand as he swirled it. He was in a daze and looked like a God who was lost in thought.
A rapid knock suddenly raised from the door.
Shi Beiyu answered softly before Yan Ze walked in with a pile of documents in his hands.
“Here are the documents regarding Mu Corporation, President. Please take a look at it.”
Yan Ze usually addressed Shi Beiyu as the President when they were in the company and Young Master when they were in private.
Shi Beiyu came back to his senses and nodded his head faintly. “Okay. Put them there first.”
Yan Ze placed down the documents and asked in confusion, “Do you really want to save Mu Corporation, President?”
Shi Beiyu raised an eyebrow. “What’s wrong? Can’t I do that?”
Yan Ze laughed dryly. “Who am I to tell you what to do? It’s just that the Madam has always hated Mu Corporation. She might be pissed if she finds out that you saved them after she tried her best to ruin them.”
Shi Beiyu narrowed his eyes. “It’s not a possibility. She will be pissed.”
“Then…”
“Use the company under my name to invest instead.”
Yan Ze was stunned by Shi Beiyu’s words.
“It is no secret that Mu Corporation suffered huge losses. Isn’t it too risky for your company?”
Mu Corporation could be divided into two entities. The first company focused on jewelry, and the second was on clothing.
It did not cost much to finance a clothing line compared to a jewelry enterprise, which was a business with a huge cost. It would take up a lot of money.
“It’ll be fine as long as you follow my instructions.”
“Alright.”
After Yan Ze had left, Shi Beiyu placed the wine glass down and picked up the report on Mu Corporation.
He read through the papers, and the reports were just as he had expected. Mu Corporation was now an empty, fancy-looking shell. Its financial situation was way worse than the rumors in the commercial world.
After all, his mother was determined to ruin Mu Corporation for good.
He sighed softly, took out his phone, and dialed Mu Siyin’s number.
Mu Siyin had just put the agreement down and was about to call Shi Beiyu when her phone rang.
Upon realizing that it was Shi Beiyu, she could not help but feel that their minds were linked.
She smiled at her screen and swiped her finger to answer the call.
“Where are you?” A clear yet raspy voice came through from the other end of the phone. The love and adoration could be heard in his voice.
The sweetness in his voice melted her heart as Mu Siyin whispered, “At home. What about you?”
“I’m at the company.”
Mu Siyin thought for a while before she said, “Does this mean that you have looked into Mu Corporation’s situation?”
Shi Beiyu raised his eyebrows slightly and said softly, “You can imply it as I miss you too.”
His words of sweet nothings came so unexpectedly that it took Mu Siyin by surprise. Taking a minute to pause, she blushed and said, “Hey! We’re supposed to be talking about business!”
Shi Beiyu nodded his head helplessly. “Fine. Have you signed the agreement with them?”
“Yeah. Ten minutes ago.”
Shi Beiyu nodded his head. “Okay. I’ll swing by in the afternoon then.”
Mu Siyin fluttered her eyelids. “Don’t trouble yourself. I’ll go to you.”
“Listen to me.”
The three words were simple yet hard to refuse.
Mu Siyin could only nod her head in obedience. “Alright. I’ll be waiting for you then.”
