Lumi took a deep breath and turned her face away when that name was mentioned for her sake:
“Don’t tell me about Kirsi’s life experience you just heard.”
Julie said, “Are you still thinking about her at this time? She is the initiator of the whole thing, if it were
another woman, would you still be so angry?
She expressed her perplexity.
Lumi was taken aback a little. She looked at Julie, opened her mouth, and was about to say something,
but she didn’t.
“I knew she didn’t like Makinen family and her parents are not good to her, so I did my best to be nice to
her. But after all this trouble, I really don’t know. Have you been pretending for so long?”
Nicole said: “What are your thoughts? Even if your parents mistreat her, you should not be held
accountable. After all, it has absolutely nothing to do with you.”
Julie gave a nod.
Lumi twitched the corners of her mouth and drank from the cup: “Forget it, I can’t think of anything else
besides getting a divorce, so I’ll just keep living?
I can’t take it anymore when I think about it.” Nicole, despite knowing it, gave her a high look.
The phone happened to ring, and it was Clayton.
Nicole said as she picked it up. “Hello?”
“Still not finished? I’m standing at the door…”
Nicole stood up when Clayton’s voice came over, saying, “Okay, I’ll be leaving in a minute.”
Lumi looked dissatisfied at her: “Don’t go; you want to drink with me all night.”
Nicole was stunned and trembled:
“Ms. Makinen, I need to return to see the baby. It’s not my age to stay up all night like this. There is
nothing to be concerned about after all. I’m supporting you!”
Julie stood up as well, “That’s right, I’m with you!”
“You guys are so mean!” Lumi frowned.
Julie smiled and approached Lumi to hug her: “I wish you the best of luck.”
Nicole and Julie walked away.
Clayton’s car was parked down the hall.
Clayton got out of the car when he saw Nicole coming out, and with a 12 metres away, he smiled and
opened his arms…
Nicole leapt to her feet and hugged him. The gloomy mood caused by others was washed away.
Julie pretended not to notice and went straight to the car to wait.
Clayton smiled and kissed the top of her head. He was about to say something when he looked at Lumi
as she was being delivered out the door, rolled her eyes, and turned away.
Clayton clicked his tongue, “That friend of yours seems to have an opinion on me?” What made him roll
his eyes and walk away?
Nicole smiled as she remembered something: “She has just gone through a major transition, and she
has opinions about everyone who spreads dog food.”
Clayton raised his brows and stepped back, wrapping his arms around her: “All right, let’s go!”
Nicole got into the car, and Clayton was about to start driving quickly he heard Julie shouting from behind
him: “Doesn’t that sound like Samuel?”
Nicole looked out the window, and it was indeed Samuel driving by.
“What’s wrong with Mr. Lindstrom?” Clayton inquired. He has no idea what happened.
Nicole quickly recounted the events of the day from beginning to end.
Declare it.
He didn’t say anything and just stared ahead.
“Oh.”
Nicole said: “Aren’t you taken aback? It’s bloody!”
Clayton kept his forearm on the car’s windshield, one hand on the steering wheel, his entire body smooth
and wanton, and smiled at Nicole.
“Yeah, it’s quite bloody.”
In other words, should you always take a little bit of coping?
Nicole inhaled a cold breath and turned her head away: “I know that gossiping with you will never make
me feel accomplished!”
This is the difference between a best friend and a husband.
