Chapter 559: Return to Dragon Capital
Qin Feng gave it a thought for two seconds and said, “Transfigure now. We will be heading back.”
The Perished Land would still open up in the future even after the Sacred Armor had been removed. This dimension would probably exist for a few more centuries.
Qin Feng would need to report some of his findings here when he went back to Earth. One of the vital pieces of information was regarding the fifteen days’ restriction. It would raise suspicion if he were to stay in this dimension longer than that.
Besides, Qin Feng could sense that a new form of energy had occurred as soon as the Sacred Star had dimmed. This infectious energy had Qin Feng worried about his body being corrupted if he were to stay any longer.
‘No matter how powerful an individual was, it would not be able to overthrow the natural law of a dimension. It’s meaningless trying to challenge the inevitable.’
Qin Feng was looking poised. There was something different in him.
He had clearly transcended after this battle. That included both physical and mental transformation.
Qin Feng took off his Sacred Armor and put on a normal battle suit. With the mini-beast-form Bai Li in his arm, he activated the spatial waymark.

Fifteen days had passed since the opening of Dragon Gate Tower.
In the past fifteen days, the expectation at the beginning had gradually turned into doubt and finally settled as a disappointed sigh. Most believed that the extraordinary prodigy from the Northern Region had fallen into the unknown dimension.
Even those who still held hope could not stay and wait indefinitely.
This included Shang Han, who had been summoned on the sixth day. There was a breach in one of the spatial tunnels at the north and she was called to suppress the invasion.
The last elect that actually cared about Qin Feng was forced to leave the tower.
In contrast, the insiders of the Fengli Organization remained confident about their leader.
After all, Qin Feng had transferred a lot of spatial stones into the tomb just a couple of days ago. This proved that he was still very much alive.
At the top of the Dragon Gate, the A-tier tower guardian was meditating cross-legged. He had reached a bottleneck and could only improve slowly through persistent training day after day. Thus it mattered very little where he trained himself. In fact, the quietness and natural essence of the Tower Gate provided him with an ideal training ground.
Of course, this place also allowed him to collect intel about prodigies with great potential. The Dragon Capital would not risk losing any prodigy.
Suddenly, there was a disturbance in the spatial runes. The next moment, a spatial passage opened up in front of him.
The tower guardian was first stunned, then immediately thought of something and waited excitedly.
Just as he anticipated, a self-possessed teenager walked out through the portal.
To be precise, he was still a juvenile at seventeen years old.
He was none other than Qin Feng.
“It’s you! You made it back! Great! That’s a relief!” The tower guardian was obviously pleased seeing that Qin Feng had returned safely.
Then, he was astonished when he realized the transformation in Qin Feng.
C4-tier! Qin Feng was only a C2 when he first arrived at Dragon Capital. He had reached C3 here after absorbing the energy downpour from the rift. Now, he must have encountered a rare opportunity inside the unknown dimension, which propelled him into C4-tier.
It was insane. This kid had evolved twice in the span of half a month.
‘At this rate, he would certainly surpass me one day if he could stay alive.’
The tower guardian was envious of Qin Feng’s limitless potential. Nonetheless, he was even more respectful of Qin Feng’s possible height in the future.
From this moment on, he viewed Qin Feng as an equal.
“I hope I didn’t betray your trust.” Qin Feng said humbly.
“What are you talking about? You are probably the first prodigy that managed to last this long inside the dimension. I am eager to know what are the rewards you have brought back with you. I am representing my family to offer you an alliance!” The tower guardian tried to rope in Qin Feng at the first chance he had.
Qin Feng had never participated in such a competition before but as a contestant brought in by Shang Han, he knew what was the appropriate thing to do. “I have to ask Regent Shang’s opinion on this. It would be disrespectful to make a decision without her consent.”
“That’s true.”
“Of course, I will report my experience there to the Human Alliance.”
“That’s great. The Human Alliance will reward you handsomely for your contribution. You will get what you deserve.”
Relaying the information to the Human Alliances was no different from reporting to Dragon Capital. In the end, the families in the Dragon Capital were the ones who would benefit the most from it.
But it was still rather insignificant if compared to the resources in Qin Feng’s hand now. The tower guardian understood that he could not force Qin Feng if he did not wish to share his loot.
The tower guardian guided Qin Feng to exit the Dragon Gate. Qin Feng realized he was being probed once he stepped out of the tower.
He was not bothered and went straight to the hotel where Shang Han had booked a room for him earlier.
Just as he planned to take a nap, his communicator rang in untimely fashion. It was from Shang Han.
“Qin Feng, I can’t believe that you are finally back! What took you so long? Anyway, I am glad that you are fine!” Shang Han was jubilant. Qin Feng had been trapped inside the dimension for too long. She was worried the whole time.
“Don’t you have confidence in me after seeing what I am capable of?”
“My bad. I should have trusted you more. But other prodigies normally come out after two to three days. It’s hard not to doubt when you didn’t come back after so long.”
“So, it’s my fault now?” Qin Feng asked rhetorically.
Shang Han was in a good mood but she spoke solemnly, “Qin Feng, your outrageous strength is the exact reason why I am so worried about you. The stronger you are, the tougher your enemies will become. Nothing is guaranteed. Not now, not in the future.”
“You are probably the standalone prodigy now. You certainly understand that the tallest sprout is also the easiest to break. If possible, I hope that you can stay low for now and spread your influence quietly. Wait patiently for a few years, then shock the world when you are truly ready.”
Qin Feng understood Shang Han’s concern but he could not care less about it.
Shang Han was hoping that he could huddle up safely in a remote place and emerge only after he had at least reached B-tier, if not A-tier.
However, that went against the very fundamental of his method to strengthen himself. His Absorption Ability required powerful opponents to fulfill its potential.
Besides, there was no reason for him to stay low.
Shang Han had no idea about the enormous benefits he had gained in this journey.
Qin Feng was extremely close to B-tier now!
