Chapter 736: Mammoth Funds
Inside Qin Feng’s villa at Fengli City.
“President, what’s with the attack just now? It was no ordinary assault. Is someone trying to take down our organization?” Xue Xingfu asked carefully.
This was probably the first time he felt unrest.
At the same time, he was also perplexed by the task Qin Feng had given him.
Qin Feng left about a week ago leaving behind massive amounts of resources. This included the bands of spatial equipment found inside the Glutton’s stomach.
Qin Feng had asked him to dump them in the market as quickly as possible to raise funds and changed all of them into power credits.
Xue Xingfu was not concerned at first. But the sudden attack and Qin Feng’s decision to collect funds raised his suspicion. He wondered whether Qin Feng had offended someone dangerous who he could not deal with and had to hide.
If that were so, then the Fengli Organization as well as the entire North Sea would be in great chaos.
“Don’t worry. Just an elect from the Amazon Alliance. He is here because I slaughtered a group of Dark Coalition members when I was there.”
Not many knew about the news. If he did not publicize it, no one in Huaxia would even know the earth-shattering stuff he had done in Amazon.
Qin Feng said it absent-mindedly and quickly changed the subject, “How many funds have you gathered so far?”
Seeing Qin Feng being Qin Feng, Xue Xingfu was slightly relieved. In fact, he had zero idea where this Amazon Alliance was.
‘I should go and check it up later.’ Xue Xingfu thought to himself. He then shook off his worry and began to explain to Qin Feng his result thus far.
“Boss, the number of goods you gave me was simply too vast. I had no choice but to be firing on all cylinders. First, we had a series of advertisements posted on the battle net and then offered the spatial stones directly through the network. With our advanced spatial technology, we have set up multiple warehouses in different cities. This allows us to deliver the product to the buyer with minimal delay. Other than that, we have also employed several aircrafts as a mobile auction center that tours from city to city. This past week, we have let go of a good deal of stocks.”
Xue Xingfu passed an account statement to Qin Feng. It listed all the transactions only up to yesterday midnight. Trades were still ongoing as they spoke.
Even so, the amount gained was still bewildering.
Qin Feng would need to focus and scan the long string of numbers with his consciousness to get the general picture.
“Because it would still take some time to completely clear them off, I have decided to convert part of the money into power credits first. Here’s the first batch.”
Xue Xingfu handed over three spatial equipment. Those were ring-shaped spatial stones. The volume inside each of the stones was about 100 x 100 x 100 meters. They were considered the most spacious among small-scale spatial equipment.
Right now, the 1,000,000 m3 space inside each of the spatial stones was fully fitted with power credits with no gap left.
Three rings totaled 3,000,000 m3 power credits!
How much money was in there?
One cubic power credit equaled 1 million. In other words, there were 300 billion worth of power credits in these three small rings.
Converting them to common money meant that Qin Feng would be carrying 3,000 trillion with him.
That was an absurd amount of funds.
Though Qin Feng could easily gain a few hundred trillion completing a mission at this stage, owning 3,000 trillion of cash flow was still pretty insane. Perhaps some of the A-tiers had also never seen such an amount in their entire life.
Through years of accumulation, B-tiers normally would reach roughly 5-6 trillion worth of assets, while A-tiers would at most amass a few hundred trillion. Shang Han was not joking when she lamented that Qin Feng was earning more than she did, and she had said it multiple times.
Anyone would go crazy obtaining this huge sum of money.
Understandably, Xue Xingfu was nervous carrying such a huge burden with him. He was relieved when he finally handed out the rings to Qin Feng.
But very quickly, Qin Feng threw him another pile of goods.
“These are the latest loot. Deal them out the same way too. I have only one week left. You have to speed up,” Qin Feng said.
Xue Xingfu’s head began to ache when he saw more spatial equipment. Employees allocated to sort the equipment and its contents alone were already up to a thousand people. One piece of equipment among the large pile would be enough to turn an employee’s fortune overnight. However, no one dared to touch Qin Feng’s assets.
“More? President, what are you planning to do?” Xue Xingfu asked.
“Nothing much. I am going to an auction.”
Xue Xingfu was first stunned, then his eyes beamed with excitement. “Dusk Dragon Event!”
Qin Feng nodded.
Xue Xingfu rubbed his hand and asked, “Boss, you see… Am I…”
Qin Feng glanced at him and said, “I will bring you when you are a B-tier.”
Xue Xingfu was immediately muted. He was a genius in business management but a sloth in self-investment. He did change after meeting Qin Feng and had trained harder since, yet B-tier was still far beyond his reach.
“I have faith in you. Right now, I am not powerful enough to scare people off with my name alone. When I reach that height one day in the future, you will be free to go wherever you like.”
Strength required time to build up.
Afterward, Qin Feng asked about the overall operation of the organization. Though Xue Xingfu’s business instinct was impeccable, Qin Feng could still provide Xue Xingfu useful insight using his memory of the future. This would prevent the latter from taking the wrong path with false promises.
But the more he learned about the business, the more he was impressed by Xue Xingfu. He was especially blown away by the new battle net business model created by Xue Xingfu. Wanzong had attempted the same idea before but logistic centering on Sky Pigeon posed a lot of risk and uncertainty. More importantly, the distance that a Sky Pigeon could travel was very limited.
In contrast, Fengli used their one-and-only space jump technology to deliver the goods, which was far quicker and entirely safe.
“Sigh. We have just offended Public Capital not long ago, and now we are stepping on Wanzong’s tail.” Qin Feng shook his head while laughing bitterly. Sometimes, being too outstanding was not entirely a good thing.
“President, then should we tone it down a little? Honestly, the things we auction out all come from the spatial equipment you have collected. This is a capital-less business for us either way. If we sell it at a discounted price, we would still earn a ton. However, this will inevitably displease our competitors,” Xue Xingfu said, “Wanzong’s general manager stationed in Fengli almost fainted out of anger when he knew what we were doing.”
Qin Feng furrowed his brows. Wanzong’s chief was unlike those from the Public Capital. He was a true S-tier.
An idea came into Qin Feng’s mind that lightened up his mood. He grinned and said, “Contact Wanzong and tell them we are willing to sell them the goods at cost price.”
Xue Xingfu had been selling them at a discounted price anyway. If Wanzong said yes to the offer, then this would be a win-win situation.
