But the moment Lin Wen Xin got into the car, she started vomiting into the plastic bag that Wang Shen
Ze is holding on to.

Thankfully Xiao Yu Meng had prepared this for her, earlier at the cafe!

“Xin, hold on, we are reaching soon...” Wang Shen Ze held on to Lin Wen Xin in his arms and looked at
her worriedly.

Could she have taken the wrong food just now?? Or was she already feeling sick in the afternoon?

When they arrived at Yue He Hospital, the medical team is already waiting for them at the entrance, as
usual. However, Wang Shen Ze simply carried her and dashed past them, heading straight into the
consultation room.

As soon as the lead doctor walked into the room with the test results, Wang Shen Ze asked him
anxiously, “How is she??”

“A big congratulations to both of you! Madam is currently 5 weeks pregnant!”

When he broke the news to them, both Wang Shen Ze and Lin Wen Xin could not believe their ears! It
took them a few more seconds to react, and they are now looking at each other with surprise and
excitement!

“Oh my gosh!! Are you serious??” Lin Wen Xin gently rubbed on her tummy, while looking at Wang
Shen Ze with tears of joy.

He also broke into a wide smile and looked at her dotingly, “Mmm, that’s our child.”

The lead doctor has also mentioned to them that the first trimester of the pregnancy is extremely crucial
as the baby is still very weak.

He then went on to prescribe some supplements for her to take, and also gave them some helpful
advices.

Over the next few weeks, Wang Shen Ze has been very strict on her diet and even hired an
experienced nutritionist to come out with their daily food menus. The menus have to be approved by
him first, before the chefs could begin cooking.

He would sometimes go to the extent of supervising the way they cooked every dish in the kitchen, and
would always taste it first before serving the food to Lin Wen Xin.

Of course, she was not allowed to carry any heavy items at all, as advised by the lead doctor.

But was there any misunderstanding somewhere along the way??

Because Wang Shen Ze did not allow her to hold anything at all - not even a cup of water!

There are also at least ten servants with her at any one point in time, and they only had one job - which
is to take care of her.

Although it sounded easy, they were all actually under a lot of pressure. Especially when they would
get kicked out of the house, even if it is due to a tiny mistake!

The Wang Family has also been notified of Lin Wen Xin’s pregnancy and they are also very excited
about the good news! They have been visiting the villa very often, each time bringing different types of
expensive Chinese herbs for her to drink and eat.

“Shen... do you prefer to have a girl or boy?” Lin Wen Xin asked him casually, while flipping through a
baby magazine.



All of the babies featured inside are really too cute, and she could not stop herself from exclaiming,
once in every few seconds!

Wang Shen Ze held on to Lin Wen Xin in his arms, “The gender is not important, what matters the most
is that the baby is well and healthy.”

She thought about it and quickly nodded her head, “That’s true... I also want to give birth to a healthy
baby.”

Time has flew past so quickly and there is only one more month left to the fashion show event!

Since Wang Shen Ze did not allow Lin Wen Xin to leave the house for the past four weeks, she had
made use of the time at home to complete her designs for the project.

However, the event is drawing nearer and she has to do a site visit today to check on the progress and
ensure that everything is going according to their plans.

“Xin... Be good and listen to me. The site is not safe for you to go to. Stay at home and I will handle the
rest. You don’t have to worry about this.”

Lin Wen Xin was not convinced at all, and felt that he was just being unreasonable.

Does this mean that she has to stay at home for the rest of her pregnancy? Isn’t this a little too much?

She took her hand out of his, and back-faced him as she laid on the bed.

Actually, he is really concerned about her health and safety, and did not want her to overwork as well.
In fact, he is much more worried about Lin Wen Xin, than their baby.



But seeing that she is angry with him, Wang Shen Ze went closer and pacified her, “Alright alright...
Xin, don’t be angry anymore. How about this, I’ll let you go to the company, but as for the site, you have
to leave it to me?”

With no response from her, it simply means that the term he offered is still pretty bad!

He then took a deep breath before compromising again, “Okay, I will let you go to the site, but I will
have to accompany you there.”

Lin Wen Xin felt that this was much more reasonable, and so with this, they set off to the location
together!

Over at the site, everyone was notified prior to their arrival, and was very careful in ensuring the safety
of the site.

Wang Shen Ze followed Lin Wen Xin wherever she went to, and did not let go of her hand. The
employees saw how uptight he is towards Lin Wen Xin, and no one dared to lose their focus for a
second too!

Finally, it’s the day of the fashion show event and many of the invited guests rushed in as soon as the
doors opened!

The venue set up is simply breathtaking as it immediately transport the guests to ‘another world’! The
entire ballroom is transformed into an exotic jungle, with the background music adding more colours to
the atmosphere.

As the main hosts of the event, Wang Shen Ze and Lin Wen Xin were extremely busy running back and
forth, speaking to different business partners and clients.



In spite of their busyness, Wang Shen Ze still remembered to remind her, “Xin, be careful. If you are
tired, I will bring you up to the hotel room to rest.”

“Mmm... I’m not tired yet, don’t worry.” Lin Wen Xin gave him an assuring smile.

The reporters had caught on to their mini ‘free time’ and quickly crowded around the two of them. They
started to put their microphones out, with cameras directly pointing at their faces.

“The online media has circulated rumours of both of you splitting up, is that true?”

Another reporter added, “It was previously said that DT Holdings had largely contributed to the closure
of Lin Corporation. Ms Lin, what do you think of this?”
