Mr President, We Meet Again! Chapter 47 - The Unexpected News

Lin Wen Xin quickly alighted from the taxi and was already panting when she reached DT Holding’s lift
lobby. She desperately jammed on the button while impatiently waiting for the lift to come down.

Every single employee in the company recognises her as the wife of Wang Shen Ze and so, she was
absolutely free to enter and leave the company as she like.

The moment Lin Wen Xin has entered into the office area of the 58th level, she had quickly spotted a
penknife on one of the desks nearby.

She took it along with her and creeped towards Wang Shen Ze’s office. When she arrived, Lin Wen Xin
leaned against the door to hear for any movement or noise.

But there was nothing at all??...

Lin Wen Xin started to feel more anxious as she was unable to know about the situation in there.

She slowly opened the door and peeped into the office, only to see that there was actually no one
inside. However, she still remained very guarded and did not dare to openly call for Wang Shen Ze.

Lin Wen Xin had finished combing the entire office. After confirming that there is no one, she felt that
the situation was a little weird, and so she sent a message back to the unknown number.

Following that, she has also quickly called Wang Shen Ze, just to confirm his safety. At the same time,
she noticed that there was a document placed on his table.

This is strange... he usually doesn’t leave his documents on the table after work.

She thought that since she was here at his office, she might as well bring it back for him, just in case he
needs it at night.

Despite hearing the consistent ringing sound, Wang Shen Ze only tightened his grip on the phone as
he stared coldly at the surveillance camera’s live footage.

And no, he has never left the office. Since the final proposal report is now handled solely by the two of
them, they knew that the culprit would come back to steal their document.

This was all part of their set up!

Wang Shen Ze’s heart stopped for a second when he saw Lin Wen Xin entering his office. What hurt
him even more was when he saw it with his own eyes that she had picked up the document and left the
office.

So she was the one who gave their proposal to the other company?

Wang Shen Ze sneered coldly, while still secretly hoping that she was not the one who actually did it.

But at this very moment, he truly felt betrayed by her.

Lin Wen Xin waited in the living room for close to three hours but Wang Shen Ze was still not back,
neither has he picked up her calls. Yi Fan was also unreachable.

She has even called her good friends, Xiao Yu Meng and Xiao Yu Zheng, for help. They have used up
all of their resources to look for him in the country, but to no avail.

The next few days went past like this, and Lin Wen Xin subsequently fell ill due to the lack of nutrients.



She had been skipping her meals, and Nanny Liang, as well as the other servants, had a very hard
time persuading her to eat.

When Lin Wen Xin finally received news from Xiao Yu Zheng about Wang Shen Ze’s whereabouts, she
quickly dashed out of the house.

She also refused to wait for Xiao Yu Meng to come and pick her up and so, Xiao Yu Meng could only
meet her directly at the location.

The moment Lin Wen Xin arrived at the restaurant, she was completely dumbfounded when she saw
Wang Shen Ze and Yi Fan chatting happily with a few other men in suits.

She could not believe her eyes and immediately picked up her phone to dial his number.

Wang Shen Ze took the phone out of his pocket. He stared at his screen for a few seconds, before
placing his phone down on the table.

Lin Wen Xin dropped her hand, with her phone falling straight to the ground.

She actually thought that she would rush to Wang Shen Ze the minute she sees him. But right now, all
she really wanted to do was to cry and just be alone.

Choked in tears, Lin Wen Xin escaped from the restaurant and stood at the sidewalk.

No matter how she thought about it, she could not understand why he had suddenly treated her in this
way.

Her company’s Vice President, Jiang Zheng, had called her multiple times throughout the day, but she
really was not in the right frame of mind to settle matters related to her business.



Just then, the news on the large billboard which is opposite the road, was filled with images of Lin
Corporation and DT Holdings.

The news reported that DT Holdings has officially cut off its ties with Lin Corporation, and this has led
to many companies withdrawing their partnerships with them as well.

The newscaster reported, “If the company could not get past this phase successfully, it is expected that
Lin Corporation would have to close its doors within the next 48 hours.”

“No... no... it can’t be...” Lin Wen Xin’s mind went blank as she hurriedly took out her phone and called
Jiang Zheng, while anxiously crossing the road.

She has to get to the company as soon as possible!

But Lin Wen Xin was not aware of the incoming traffic as she had been busy focusing on the billboard.

When she turned to look at the car that was nearing her, it was already too late!

Xiao Yu Meng parked her car by the side of the road and walked towards the restaurant but did not see
Lin Wen Xin.

She noticed that there is a road accident just a few meters away from her, and walked curiously
towards it while dialling Lin Wen Xin’s number.

Her eyes quickly widened as she advanced towards the person lying on the ground.
