Lin Wen Xin hurriedly alighted from the bus and walked towards the huge striking billboard.

She was not the only one!

The advertisement also managed to catch the attention of the working adults who were squeezing
through the heavy human traffic.

“Will you marry me?”, the man asked the woman in the screen.

Of course they were not marrying for real!

But there were two things that caught everyone’s attention - one was the popular actor and actress,
and the other was the exquisite diamond ring!

The advertisement ended with a catchphrase “Only Once In A Lifetime” by SX Jewellery.

Lin Wen Xin eyes twitched a little when she saw the last five words.

It is indeed every girl’s dream to be proposed to by the love of their life.

Would he ever give her the proposal that she had dreamt of day and night?

The proposal that she had waited for a long time?

After all, it seems as though Wang Shen Ze did not even want to marry Lin Wen Xin in the first place,

diamonds.

Today is the official launch of their newly curated diamond ring.

She has been following SX Jewellery‘s launches for years and was hoping to be proposed to, with a
ring from this particular company.

Soon, it was time for Lin Wen Xin to knock off from work.

“Yu Meng, I’m already queuing outside the shop! Where are you?” Lin Wen Xin asked anxiously as she
looked at the people who went in and out of SX Jewellery’s retail store.

She is almost at the front of the queue and Yu Meng has not arrived yet!

Lin Wen Xin has been looking forward to the launch of this ring for more than a year.



Since she is not going to be proposed to, there was no reason to wait longer to get her hands on this
ring.

Everyone brought their male partner along with them to visit this launch.

Thankfully Xiao Yu Meng was able to accompany her today, otherwise, how embarrassing would this
be for her if she were to enter alone!

Just then, a group of men dressed in suits are seen to be walking together towards the direction of the
store.

The older man at the side is the general manager of this entire high-end mall, and he is reporting
something to the younger man beside him.

It seems like the younger man holds a much higher position than the older man.

lightly as she asked.



“I’m sorry alright! The traffic jam was so bad, I couldn’t help it!” Xiao Yu Meng replied.

The two of them were led into the store by a polite sales assistant.

They sat at the area closest to the large window frame of the retail store.

“Wow Yu Meng, look at that design!” Lin Wen Xin couldn’t help but gasped excitedly.

“Hmm, not bad... but it’s just a ring, do you seriously need to be so excited?” Xiao Yu Meng said as she
leaned lazily against the sturdy glass display.

“Of course I am! Do you know how long I’ve been waiting for this?” Lin Wen Xin couldn’t help but smile
as she looked at the ring in front of her.

“Shouldn’t such stuffs be bought for you by your man? Why are you getting it on your own?”

Lin Wen Xin shook her head lightly and smiled as she replied, “It’s fine, it’s all the same. He is busy
anyways!”

Xiao Yu Meng could roughly guess her situation with Wang Shen Ze.

To Xiao Yu Meng, she sees Lin Wen Xin as a girl who is always so pure, selfless and generous.

She always put the needs of others first, before settling her own needs.

Xiao Yu Meng always told Lin Wen Xin that if she was a man, she would definitely marry her!

Because Lin Wen Xin has such a kind hearted personality, Xiao Yu Meng felt that sometimes she really
doesn’t fit to be in a complicated world like this.

After all, the one who could easily get hurt first, would be her.



As Lin Wen Xin’s best friend, Xiao Yu Meng naturally hope for her to marry a man who would be able to
protect her and shower her with his unconditional love.

But the guy she is marrying...

Is simply not a gentleman!!

How dare he allow Lin Wen Xin to buy her own engagement ring?

This is simply too much!

“President Wang, I happened to see Madam at the SX Jewellery store while doing my rounds at the
mall”, Yi Fan reported to Wang Shen Ze.
