Mr President, We Meet Again! Chapter 19 - The Lady Of The House

Lin Wen Xin was stunned as she looked at Wang Shen Ze who had just spoken.

What? Was he speaking to her?

Well... it seems like it is as no one sat down together with her.

“Oh... this...” Lin Wen Xin was completely speechless as she stood up from her seat and pushed it
back to its original position.

“Don’t think that you can do anything you want in this house just because you are my wife in name.”

Wang Shen Ze picked up his utensils as he continued to speak, “From now onwards, you are not
allowed to dine with us.”

“You will only eat after we are done eating.”

He gave Lin Wen Xin a cold glare before starting on his meal. Hong Xin Rui who is seated beside him,
had also followed suit and started eating as well.

Lin Wen Xin smiled awkwardly and replied, “Mmm... I understand. I will be careful in the future.”

She felt that it might be rude for her to leave the dining hall at this moment so she decided to stand
near the row of servants who were waiting on them.

“Shen, you like to eat this.”

“Shen, eat more of this.”

“This is quite nice too, let me give you some.”



Hong Xin Rui was obviously showing off to Lin Wen Xin as she placed the dishes on Wang Shen Ze’s
plate.

However, Lin Wen Xin noticed that the food she placed on his plate were the ones that he hated the
most.

Chicken meat with bones? I remember he likes it without the bones. Mushrooms? I remember he
doesn’t eat those. Steam fish? I remember he would remove the skin before eating.

Wang Shen Ze frowned as he looked at the dishes on his plate.

He did not know what has happened to him but ever since he has met Hong Xin Rui, he really disliked
being around her.

Was it because of the way she talked? Or the way she acted? Or that they have been apart for too long
and he is still not used to it?

Wang Shen Ze felt that something was off about Hong Xin Rui but he just could not pinpoint the
specific reason.

His first love also used to take the dishes for him but he don’t remember feeling so uncomfortable
about it. In fact, he remembered that he liked it a lot!

But since Lin Wen Xin is at the side watching them, Wang Shen Ze swallowed his disgust as he ate the
dishes one by one.

Hong Xin Rui was naturally delighted as she saw Wang Shen Ze finishing every dish that she had
placed on his plate.

“Grrr...” Lin Wen Xin’s stomach growled loudly in the quiet dining hall.



She hurriedly pressed on her stomach as she looked down in embarrassment.

It is already way past her usual dinner timing and she is really hungry by now!

Wang Shen Ze smirked coldly as he heard her stomach calling for food.

He usually doesn’t have much appetite for meals, but tonight was special for him and he even took a
much longer time to finish the meal, on purpose.

Wang Shen Ze wanted to teach Lin Wen Xin a lesson. He definitely did not want her to have a good
time being his wife and he felt that she should know her place in this house.

No matter how hungry she is, she had to wait till they have finished their food before she could start on
hers.

Since he has already accomplished his goal, he stood up to leave and head towards his room.

After Wang Shen Ze had left, Hong Xin Rui strolled towards Lin Wen Xin, “So what is your name?”

“Hello, I am Lin Wen Xin. And your name is...”

Hong Xin Rui immediately put her hand up to stop her from talking. She squinted her eyes and then
looked at her with disdain, “Lin Wen Xin right? I guess I haven’t introduced myself to you yet.”

“I am Hong Xin Rui, and I am the lady of this house.”

“Like what you have heard earlier, you are just his wife in name and you hold no position in this place,
much less in his heart.”

Hong Xin Rui sneered as she called out, “Nanny Liang!”

“Yes, Madam”, Nanny Liang quickly walked over.



“From now onwards, make sure that she is not allowed to be served by anyone in this house. Whoever
who dares to serve her, is directly going against me. Is that clear?!”

“Yes Madam.” Nanny Liang answered while the row of servants at the side quieted noted this down in
their heads.

After receiving a satisfied response, Hong Xin Rui then harrumphed loudly before leaving the dining
hall.

Even though Lin Wen Xin is from a wealthy family and have servants in her previous house too, she
has always been independent and is capable of doing things on her own.

Hence, when Hong Xin Rui specifically ordered the servants to not serve her, it did not anger her and
she is not bothered by this at all.

Lin Wen Xin then went to the kitchen to scoop her own rice and set up her own tableware as she
quickly finished her dinner.

Wow! The chefs here can really cook so well!

Even though the food is already cold, she still found it to be extremely delicious!

After Lin Wen Xin had washed her own dishes, she went to warm up a glass of milk and place it on a
tray.

She remembered that Wang Shen Ze always liked to drink a glass of milk after his dinner as it helps
him to better concentrate on his work.

Lin Wen Xin took a lift up to the highest level of the villa.

Since it was her first time at this house, she was unsure of where Wang Shen Ze’s study room is at.



She was quick witted to notice that there are two doors on the left side of the hallway, whereas there is
only one door on the right side.

Lin Wen Xin then made a guess and went straight for the second door on the left side of the hallway.

“Knock knock...”

She did not hear any response after a while and decided to knock again. Still, she did not receive a
response.

“Creak...” She opened the door slowly and popped her head into the room.

Sure enough, it is his study room but... there is no one in the room?

Lin Wen Xin walked in and placed the cup of milk on the study table.

Just as she was about to turn around and leave, she heard someone from the back, “What are you
doing in here?”
