When Mu Mingtang heard that it was him, she avoided his hand with a cold expression before she stood up and sat on the other side.
Xie Xuanchen didn’t feel embarrassed at all. He sat down where Mu Mingtang originally was and looked at the things in her hands across the table, “Looking at the account books? Why are you reading these energy-consuming things so early in the morning? With how hot the weather is, it’s about time to make the spring outfits. I’ll have someone buy whatever you like.”
Mu Mingtang finally gave Xie Xuanchen a glare, “There’s no need.”

If you are angry, you can come at me, but don’t hold it in yourself. If you want to hit me or scold me, you can do it— do anything you want to.”
Xie Xuanchen’s tone was surprisingly sincere, so Mu Mingtang gradually softened and asked, “What else?”

This guy was so insufferable that Mu Mingtang glared at him angrily and was actually getting up to leave. Xie Xuanchen then hugged her with a smile, “Okay, okay, I will listen to you. I will try my best from now on.”

Mu Mingtang immediately glanced at him angrily, “Who said so?”
