The Devil's Sleeping Beauty Chapter 220 E: Where are we going?

A beautiful matured looking woman entered Lu Yifeng's office. She was wearing a long-sleeved white turtleneck blouse and a high waist pencil skirt that hugged her waist, showing off her beautiful curves. She was wearing black high heeled stiletto shoes and the sound of clicking sound was heard as she walked toward Lu Yifeng's desk.
"Yifeng, here are the files that you requested from Mr. Su." Xia Meilin said as she placed a couple of folders on his desk.
"Thank you."
"Oh yeah, don't forget that you have an appointment with Mr. Gu in the evening okay?"
"Nn."
Xia Meilin was about to leave but she was halted when she heard Lu Yifeng's deep voice, "Meilin, come here."
She turned to her husband and smiled, "Mr. Lu, we are at work, didn't we already agreed to behave while we're at it?"
"I want to have an affair with my secretary." Lu Yifeng said calmly.
Xia Meilin narrowed her eyes, "No."
He stood up and walked toward her which made Xia Meilin take a few steps backward away from him when she saw the dangerous look on Lu Yifeng's eyes. She stopped when she felt the cold wall against her back.
Lu Yifeng ended up cornering her. "I'm the President of this company, I do whatever I want to do, including having an affair with my secretary."
Xia Meilin refused to back down that's why she ended up glaring at him. "Do you want to get beat up by your wife?"
The side of his lips curled up into a smirk, "Will she now?" He cupped her chin and bowed his head to place a soft kiss on her lips. "Then stop acting as my secretary. You're my wife, it's your job to watch over your husband. If you want to have a salary, then I can give you all my money."
A faint blush appeared on Xia Meilin's cheeks after she has been kissed by him. She pouted and turned her head away, "I just want to try how it feels to work as your secretary."

Lu Weichun and Lu Xingyan were already in their second year of high school, studying in an all-girls school while Lu Mello was already in his third year of college, taking Criminology as his course.
"Let me help you with your work, I am confident with my skills, besides, I am a fast learner so if you teach me then I can make the work easier for you!" She hugged him by his waist and looked up at him with puppy eyes, "Please?"
"You're supposed to be at school right now, teaching music."
She pursed her lips as she pulled away from him and crossed her arms, "We have already talked about this earlier, I want to work as your personal secretary. I should just quit my work."

Sometimes, Lu Yifeng couldn't understand his wife. One moment she wanted to do something, the next moment, she would change it into something else. "Are you pregnant?"
Xia Meilin's eyes went wide and she gasped out loud, "How did you know?"
Lu Yifeng couldn't help but massage the bridge of his nose. No wonder she was being so… not behave the past few weeks.
But then… "I thought that you were on your pills?" He looked at her with a serious look on his face.
Xia Meilin shrugged, "What can an expired pill do?"
"This is why I told you before that you should go for a tubal ligation."
"I'm already in my forties, it's even a miracle to have a baby since it's harder to conceive at this age." She placed a hand on her tummy and smiled, "We will have an additional member in the family. At least, our next child will accompany me at home."
As much as Lu Yifeng didn't want to have another child, he knew that Xia Meilin will do her best to keep the child. He looked at her tummy and glared at it… this upcoming child will definitely give her another experience.
Xia Meilin noticed the way Lu Yifeng looked at her there which made her wrap her arms around it as if protecting it from him. "It is against my principles to take away an innocent child's life. I will keep this child whether you like it or not, Yifeng."

"I know." He turned and looked at her face, his eyes softened. "I just don't want you to go through another painful experience of giving birth." He pulled her into his arms and rested his chin on top of her head.
She rested her head on his chest and closed her eyes. "I know… but you don't have to worry about it, Yifeng, I will surely manage it as long as you're by my side."
How can he not worry whenever it comes to her?
Just then they were disturbed when someone suddenly barged in the office.
"Daddy! Look who's come…" The black-haired girl wearing a high school uniform trailed off when she saw her parents hugging each other. "Hey mommy, you can't have daddy to yourself today."
The brunette that was standing beside her nodded in agreement.
Xia Meilin pulled away from her husband and smiled, "Is it time already?"
"Yep, it is!" Lu Weichun grinned at her, her eyes sparkling in delight.
Lu Weichun's black hair was styled into a high ponytail while Lu Xingyan's hair was down and she was wearing a simple blue headband.
Despite being twins, their personalities were different. Lu Xingyan was a quiet girl who loved to read books while Lu Weichun was a lively girl who loves to play different kind of sports.
"Mom, dad, let's go! Ge ge is waiting for us." Lu Weichun went and cling on her father while Lu Xingyan did the same on his other arm.
Xia Meilin went and took his coat and her purse before she followed them outside.
"Where are we going?" Lu Yifeng couldn't help but ask as his daughters.
"You'll know it soon, daddy." Lu Weichun said with a bright smile on her lips.
