Chapter 1147: Grip Of Darkness
In a game, having one more friend was definitely not a bad thing.
Mystery Observer was quite self-centred but he was fine otherwise.
Furthermore, Quan Zhen Sect’s Assassins were so rich, they would not want this thing so it was a good deal to trade this dagger for a friend.
Mystery Observer who got the dagger was obviously very elated. His wide smile looked like it was calling for a beating up so much that it Wang Yu wanted him to die now, he would do it without hesitation.
“Haha!”
Seeing Mystery Observer so happy, Wang Yu smiled and took out the third item.

Item introduction: The Grand Magician, Tyrone, coincidentally got the body of an ancient devil king when practicing in hell. Tyrone used that devil king’s arm bones and skull to mould this staff then stole three departed spirit gemstones to install on it, turning it into a god-tier equipment. This Grip of Darkness had been with Tyrone for thousands of years so it has very strong dark power in it.
Ancient skill – Energy Charge: Passive skill. When player uses magic skills, the staff will automatically be powered up then it will let out all the dark energy it saved inside towards the target, causing great damage.
“F*ck, it’s an Ancient equipment!”
Seeing the staff in Wang Yu’s hand, everyone was paying extra attention.
An Ancient equipment was something they only heard of. Since the game server began half a year ago, less than a hundred have been made so most of them were in professional experts’ hands. Normal players could not even buy one with money.
Although Mystery Observer was a guild leader, and was way richer than Sanguine Warflag, he had only heard and seen such great items.
As for amateurs like Five Flagtree, they did not even dare to think that they would be able to see an Ancient equipment in real life one day.
Now that the Ancient equipment was just before them, it was thinkable how they felt.
However, after everyone looked through this staff’s attributes, they were disappointed and began mocking.
After being excited for so long, they finally realised what Wang Yu had in his hand was akin to rubbish.
Although they did not say anything, their faces spoke for them. They then added, “This is considered an Ancient equipment?”
Actually, based on its attributes alone, this staff did live up to its Ancient equipment identity.
After all, other than knowing all the magic skills, it was pretty powerful to have an escape skill.
However, sadly, on the surface it was useful for all magic, it was actually a typical Shaman’s equipment, one that strengthened summoning magic.
Well, at the current stage, Shamans are as rare as giant pandas and only a handful were Shamans who knew summoning magic.
Hence, to normal players, knowing all summon magic and blood ritual were completely useless skills.
Furthermore, it was rare to know both because as compared to CD reduction, special effects using magic were to boost attributes, so they were less popular.
Furthermore, energy charge was even less useful. As a controller, Shaman’s attacks were never important and this was a skill that even needed to be charged before it could release randomly.
The demands of a controlling job was stability. Such unstable things that might attract hate could cause the entire team to be wiped out.
Based on the above, only the blood swamp skill could use it, otherwise, it was completely useless.
Of course, this was for normal players. If this staff was in Brother Spring’s possession, it would be on a completely different level in the hands of a summon magic Shaman.
“Haha!”
Seeing how everyone did not like it, Wang Yu smiled and said, “I think this staff is quite good, I guess it is okay if I keep it?”
“Take it, take it…” Everyone waved. No matter how good its attributes, a Shaman’s item could never be sold for a good price, much less this rubbish which could at most get a collector’s price.
“I shall help myself then.” Wang Yu nodded then kept the staff in his bag smilingly.
As a thousand-year-old demon, Tyrone’s collection was quite abundant. However, Shamans had low demand for equipment and Tyrone was the same. Other than these few items, the rest were potions and medicine.
These things were not useful for other jobs so since the rest did not want them, they left them to Wang Yu.
It seemed like Wang Yu had been positioned as the garbage collector. Of course, the main thing was because Wang Yu was the main contributor and these ingredients came from a BOSS so they were still valuable. If given to anyone else, the rest might feel slightly unhappy so only Wang Yu could take them.
After splitting the gains, Wang Yu and the rest looked at the endless corridor in the castle and were ready to move towards the next BOSS.
Just then, the entire scene began shaking.
“Boom! Boom!”
A giant rock fell from the top of the castle and sealed its entrance. Then, a thunder-roaring sound sounded.
“Who is it? Who killed my master Tyrone!!”
The loud voice deafened their ears. Wang Yu’s firm stance was also shaken by it.
The rest had it worse.
This roaring sound was like a mighty force. After it disappeared, the three of their HP bars dropped by a fifth and at the same time, their attributes also fell.
“No… This is bad.”
Unfathomable Mystery looked at his own attributed then said in a panic, “It is the Dragon’s Aura. My attributes fell by 50%. This dragon is at least level 150.”
“Level 150?”
Wang Yu was shocked to hear this.
Wang Yu had been to many dungeons and have fought in at least a hundred so he was not a stranger of dungeon settings.
In the past, the dungeons Wang Yu saw had level differences too but at most around 20 levels. However, they were not even halfway past the dungeon and yet the next BOSS was a shocking level 150 Dragon monster with an 80-level difference. What the hell kind of dungeon was this.
Could this dungeon’s difficulty be so much higher than others?
