Chapter 871: Underground Stone Room

“Noob…”
Hearing what Fearless said, Captain Don’t Open Fire was shocked.
He was such a ferocious lad and yet you said he was a noob? Quan Zhen Sect indeed just shoot their mouths off.
By then, Spring Halo explained to Wang Yu.
An inner armour was a clothing item like fashion pieces and did not take up any equipment slot. However, it had some off attributes. It was different as fashion pieces were worn on the outside for glamour while an inner armour was to ensure that when players’ equipment was destroyed, they would not be naked.
Most fashion pieces looked good but very few had attributes. Inner armours did not look good but more of them had attributes.
Fashion pieces could be bought in the mall but inner armours could only be gained by chance. Of course, the chance of inner armour was pitifully low. During the beta-testing period when the drop rates were very high, one piece had appeared and since the game went public for such a long time, no one had seen it.
To be able to get an inner armour from a quest, this luck was insanely good.
This inner armour’s attribute’s additions were negligible to the players at the moment but its passive skills were scarily strong. Even after killing someone, they could blow up the corpse with full HP. This was impossible for anyone to bear.
“This item… Why don’t you guys roll for it…” Wang Yu looked at Quan Zhen Sect and said.
An inner armour’s passive skill was for short-distance attacks only but half of Quan Zhen Sect were long-distance jobs so it would be a waste for them to have it.
Crotch Lord and Boson had short legs and did not die easily so it was not useful to them.
Darknorth Fisher and Frost Blade were vulnerable although they were fast. However, Assassins’ attacks relied on their weapons and skills so without weapons and skills, they were just a moving target.
Of course, this equipment was not useless. An extra piece of equipment was always good. However, since there were so many people and it did not matter who had it, they might as well ‘roll’ it.
Fearless asked, “Roll? Is that a good idea?”
Pugilists ran fast and was a short distance job which unlike Assassins, did not rely so much on skills. Also it was vulnerable… It basically met all the conditions.
Wang Yu laughed, “Will I die so easily…”
Everyone, “…” How arrogant for a vulnerable Pugilist to say such things. He was toying with the system settings.
Since Wang Yu did not die easily, there was someone else who did. Vainglory saw that Wang Yu did not want it, he quickly raised his hand, “Since Uncle Bull does not want it, let me have it.”
Vainglory was also a top expert but in Quan Zhen Sect he could only take Wang Yu’s leftover-s. He was a real poor thing and Wang Yu felt the worst for him. Seeing Vainglory wanted it, he immediately threw the inner armour to him.
Quan Zhen Sect’s team harmony shocked Captain Don’t Open Fire.
Once character was developed, it was hard to change based on situations. With a bunch of perverted people in Quan Zhen Sect, they should be scheming and fighting so it was unexpected that they would be able to so peacefully split their profits. Void Blade felt guilty of themselves.
“Let’s go down!”
After searching the corpse, Wang Yu walked to the aisle and confirmed there was nothing amiss then shouted before jumping down first.
Everyone else quickly followed after, jumping into the aisle one by one.
Passing the aisle, everyone finally arrived at the second scene of the treasure’s hidden ground.
Once they entered the scene, everyone was stunned…
The first scene of Treasures’ Hidden Ground was a rundown cave but below the cave was a gigantic stone room.
On the stone room’s walls, there were magic lights and many burly big human-looking monsters mining with mining tools. Behind every three big miners was a frail-looking lad ordering them to work.
Treasure Miner (LV60) (Elite)
HP: 200,000
MP: 5,000
Skills: Deadly Pickaxe, Barbaric Charge
Talent: Discovery
Introduction: Greedy treasure hunter with shocking magic.
Treasure Director (LV60) (Elite)
HP: 150,000
MP: 200,000
Skills: Heal, Steel Body
Talent: Directing
Introduction: Greedy treasure hunter, well-versed in many magic skills.
“What, what should we do?” Captain Don’t Open Fire looked at the monsters’ introduction and asked Fearless worriedly.
These two monsters were not difficult to deal with separately. One was big-built but silly without many skills and could be killed by depletion. The other was a Magician so an Assassin could settle them quickly. However, when the two of them were put together, they were not easy to deal with.
They would be able to attack, defend and even torture. Such a combination was hated by players. Furthermore, these monsters were standing like those in high-level quests, in a Lightning Chain formation such that once anyone touched them, they would be electric shocked. It was also impossible to break any of them from the formation to defeat them.
Even more impossible was that everyone was standing in the middle of the stone room so they had already fallen into these monsters’ trap. Now that they were surrounded by their enemy, the usual players’ formations were not useful.
Fearless observed the surroundings and said, “Everyone, stand in a circle formation!”
“Circle Formation?” Big Bear Deng Deng An said, “We only have five Guardians. How can we stand in a circle formation?”
Circle Formation meant that the front row would stand in a circle to surround the back row. Usually, they would only use it when they had enough people for the front row. Now they only had twenty people. Without eight to ten Guardians, how could they surround everyone?
Fearless ignored Big Bear’s question and circled around everyone while using his staff to point five spots on the ground then said, “Guardians, come over.”
Crotch Lord heard him and walked to one of the spots. The four other Guardians looked at one another then moved over and stood at the spots Fearless pointed at respectively.
The five Guardians nicely formed a star formation.
“Brother Spring!”
After the five Guardians took their spots, Fearless called for Spring Halo. In one wave, Spring Halo’s staff called out five demons who stood in between the Guardians, nicely filling up the gaps and surrounded the rest of them.
“Why did your summoned creatures become like this?”
Seeing how Spring Halo could summon demons, Captain Don’t Open Fire asked shockingly.
Captain Don’t Open Fire and Spring Halo knew each other since the beta-testing. Both of them were Shamans so Captain Don’t Open Fire wanted Spring Halo who had [Call of the Abyss].
However, Captain Don’t Open Fire had seen Spring Halo’s creatures which had decent attributes but looked terrible in oily green. They looked nothing like these masculine demons.
Spring Halo laughed and said, “I’ve changed to summoning demons now.”
“Sigh…” Captain Don’t Open Fire heard him and took a deep breath. Also as a Shaman, Captain Don’t Open Fire also knew what kind of skill [Call of the Abyss] was. What kind of god-like skill was this such a strong skill could even evolve?
Captain Don’t Open Fire was envying Spring Halo’s skill when Fearless said, “Enough talking, stand properly. Later, cooperate with Brother Spring.”
