Chapter 3143 - This Boy is Mine
Just at that moment, a slender figure with pink hair and a white dress descended from the clouds like a fairy from above. She landed in the newly opened Fortuna Arena, instantly becoming the center of attention.
Ordinary people wouldn't dare disturb Tianming during such a glorious moment; it was clear that this new arrival was extraordinary.
"Hmm?" Tianming noticed this change and turned his head to see a fairy-like pink-haired girl appear before him. She had fair skin; rosy, tender lips; big, bright pink eyes, and a slender figure with a delicate waist. She was truly adorable; her smile revealed her bright and lively personality, as well as two small fangs tucked beneath her pink lips.
Her delicate appearance made Tianming's eyes involuntarily light up, as if a pink rose had bloomed in his sight. It came with the scent of youth and vitality, making him feel inexplicably joyful.
He almost thought that she was Ji Ji, but grown up into a beautiful young woman. The girl's appearance, figure, and temperament were top notch, even among the countless beauties in Myriadpath Valley. Regardless of how many beauties there were, she was the kind that would continue to outshine all of them. It was a product of her appearance, temperament, bloodline, and innate talent.
She could be said to be the top beauty in the astralscape, surpassing the beauties of all outer mundi.
Women like Lan Yun might present a stronger allure because of their figure and womanly charm, but in terms of background and bloodline, she could scarcely compare to this pink-haired girl.
And most importantly....
"Oh gods, it’s your type, the slender and white type," Ying Huo lit up and immediately spoke.
"Yeah, just like Ling'er. All fair and white, and so tender like a piece of delicious fat," even Xian Xian couldn't help but sigh.
"Do you have to use food analogies? Shouldn't you say tender like a big piece of tofu?" Lan Huang commented.
"Tofu isn't tasty, it's disgusting! Meat’s delicious," Xian Xian argued.
"She's different from Ling'er." Inside the lifebound space, Ji Ji looked at the girl with the same hair color as herself, coldly saying, "Ling'er is so obedient, but the look in this girl's eyes is so vain!" It was obviously not pleased.
"Yeah, I’m getting annoyed just looking at her. Little Li, don't get too close to her," Xian Xian grit its teeth.
Tianming was speechless. He had only given her a glance and didn't even know who she was, but these guys had already conjured up details.
"Shut up!" Fortunately, they were communicating through telepathy. If they shouted out loud, Tianming would probably have had his head chopped off. He could tell from his intuition that this pink-haired girl had an aura of superiority deep within her bones, even more pronounced than Suishen Zhao’s pride. Naturally, her status wouldn't be lower than his.
The pink-haired girl landed in front of Tianming, slightly curling her lips and revealing her small fangs as she raised her eyebrows at him. The people beside the Fortuna Arena also clearly saw her!
To Tianming's surprise, as soon as those people recognized the girl, they subconsciously took several steps back and some even directly ran away.
"It's her!"
"Quick, run...."
Many saints trembled, quickly turning and leaving, their bodies covered in cold sweat. Even many reverends, upon seeing the pink-haired girl, couldn't help but knead their foreheads!
Is this person so terrifying? Tianming's heart skipped a beat. Although, outwardly, she appeared to be a harmless, innocent, and delicate flower, he felt a chill in his heart.
"Sis, why’d you come down?" Tianming heard Suishen Zhao’s dissatisfied voice.
His sister? Her status was indeed high. Tianming decided to wait and see.
As soon as Suishen Zhao finished asking, the pink-haired girl chuckled. Her smile was as bright as sunshine.
From afar, Huang Daosheng saw the scene and muttered to himself, "Now that the Little Demon Lord has come to make trouble, you, Li Tianming, are definitely finished!"
Just as he thought that, the pink-haired girl finished laughing. She walked toward Tianming and reached out her snow-white arm to wrap around his shoulder.
A fragrant breeze wafted past his nose. He stiffened and had no choice but to crouch, as having this girl hanging off him would be too embarrassing.
The scene made many people feel a chill down their spines.
The pink-haired girl patted Tianming's shoulder and smugly said, "Little Bro, you didn't expect this, did you?"
“Expect what?” Suishen Zhao was utterly bamboozled by what was going on.
“This boy is mine!”
The Ascension Colosseum immediately broke into an uproar.
The world went black for Huang Daosheng. He remembered his father, Reverend Daolie, had said that this pink-haired girl had caused trouble on the Skyward Grandpath. That incident had coincidentally been when Tianming had entered.
Lan Yun's eyes widened.
Suishen Zhao became even more confused. He shook his head and said, "Sis, stop fooling around."
"What, can't handle a loss? Isn't your heart as open as the sky? You supervise me every day. Now look, I randomly handpicked someone who became number one on the Skyward Ranking, and with a snap of my fingers—poof, there you lay defeated! And he’s even younger than you!" the pink-haired girl teased.
"You picked him?" Suishen Zhao was dumbfounded.
"Yes. Look at how good my standards are. I set up a high-ether-class wildbeast, made it worth a million points, and the one who finally won is definitely the strongest! You've all been using the same old methods for years, wasting so many talented recruits." After the pink-haired girl finished speaking, she turned her head and arched an eyebrow at Tianming. "Little brat... oh no, Little Li, do you understand? I'm your benefactor. You were only able to join Myriadpath Valley thanks to me."
Tianming felt his head spinning. He had indeed been wondering why there were so many twists and turns in his participation in the Skyward Grandpath trial. So someone had changed the rules, and it was her!
This was only their second meeting and she had already automatically come up with the nickname 'Little Li.’
Through their conversation, Tianming could immediately tell that they were siblings. So he nodded, smiled, and said, "Many thanks to... you." He didn't even know her name yet.
"What 'you?’ No manners. I taught you better than that. From now on, call me Master!" the pink-haired girl said.
"Master?" Tianming was stunned.
"Yes." After the pink-haired girl finished speaking, she looked at Suishen Zhao and winked, saying, "Bro, you can't even defeat my little disciple? Please don't act so high and mighty in front of me anymore, understood?"
"Sis, you!" Suishen Zhao was furious. If he had known this would happen, he wouldn't have let her out! After losing the battle, he had managed to salvage a bit of his reputation through his words, but then his sister made a scene, embarrassing him once more.
"A stinky little brother must behave like a little brother. You’re always calling me Number Three, but look here, it’s Mr. Number Two!" the pink-haired girl pouted.
Tianming understood. There wasn't some deep hatred between them as siblings, just some rivalry. Tianming had stopped Suishen Zhao’s momentum, which allowed his sister to seize the opportunity to ridicule him.
"But Sister, he has a reverend as a master. Besides, you're just a fortuna disciple. Even if you're a foundationeer, before two thousand years of age, you’re supposed to focus on your cultivation, not take disciples," Suishen Zhao calmly said.
"Not qualified to teach? I'll remember that. Anyway, all of you remember. This is my official disciple! He's mine, got it?" The pink-haired girl swept her gaze around.
"Got it!" Many saints agreed.
"Did you hear that?" The pink-haired girl made a face at Suishen Zhao.
He rolled his eyes in response, saying, "You're still so childish at over four hundred years old...."
Tianming felt a bit helpless after hearing all that. "I'm hers?"
Clearly, this big sister's influence in Myriadpath Valley was much stronger than Suishen Zhao’s, and she was obviously the type to seek revenge for the slightest grievance and extremely concerned about her reputation. Offending her was more terrifying than offending her brother. Was it really a good thing that she had proclaimed him hers?
At least my backing seems more stable now, he thought. However, whether or not this girl was reliable remained to be seen. Tianming could only judge by the way the onlookers looked at him!
Those fortuna disciples, maniverse disciples, and myriadpath saints... all of them looked at him with... pity?
"Huh?" It made him feel like he had entered a den of wolves.
Just then, he saw Lan Yun among the crowd. She stood out because her expression was different from the others.
"What does that mean?" Lan Yun was as cold as ever. But Tianming felt that there was something different in her gaze.
"It seems she’s flustered? Why would she be flustered if I have a chance to befriend the people of the Three Exalted Houses? Just because I'm the forbidden fruit of her eyes? She promises me fame, but she doesn't allow me to leave her?"
Clearly, that was the case!
"After all, in her expectations, in a little over two hundred years, she's going to devour me... heh." It was not hard to guess why Lan Yun was so unnerved.
Just then, the pink-haired girl also saw Lan Yun. She directly beckoned with her hand and said, "You must be Reverend Lan Yun, right?"
Lan Yun was truly a woman who had dealt with all sorts of situations. Her coldness suddenly dissipated. It only took a moment for the frost on her face to melt and turn into a smile; it was as if she had just basked in the spring breeze.
"Greetings, Minor Pathkeeper." She slightly bowed. The status of a minor pathkeeper was even more esteemed than that of many reverends, not to mention the fact that this pink-haired girl came from one of the Three Exalted Houses.
"From now on, this disciple belongs to me. Do you have any thoughts about that?" the pink-haired girl puffed out her chest and asked.
"Of course not. If Tianming has caught the attention of the minor pathkeeper, he’s truly blessed. I sincerely rejoice for him." After saying that, Lan Yun glanced at Tianming, smiled, and said, "You’d do well to listen to the minor pathkeeper in the future."
"Okay." Tianming nodded.
