Chapter 139: Heart Full of Hatred
"Guozhi, don't try your luck!"
"What are you going to threaten with me then?" Su Guozhi openly challenged and walked closer to his Elder Brother. There was nothing he feared anymore.
Su Donghai laughed. "You care for her because of that 'woman', don't you?" Su Guozhi's tone was harsh. As if he was so disgusted that he would not even say the name of 'that' woman.
Su Guozhi's smile dropped.
Looking at this, Su Donghai smirked. "I will make you watch, Su Guozhi. I will make you watch how I destroy the girl of the woman you loved with your own eyes. Back then you hadn't been able to do anything. And this time, you won't be able to do anything either. Just go back to Japan and mourn over your dead lover in your Country Villa. Why had you even returned back for?" After a pause Su Donghai said. "She will end up just like her mother. Even worse."
Su Guozhi was silent. He didn't erupt as Su Donghai had expected.
"Do you have nothing to say to this?"
"It had been so many years. Elder Brother, when would the hate in your heart dissipate? What thing it is that you gain by doing all this? We have already reached that age. Why are you so intent on destroying everything. Everything that had happened in the past... You know exactly well that it wasn't Jing Lihua fault." Su Guozhi's voice was soft this time. Maybe he believed he would be able to persuade Su Donghai.
"Do you know what Yang Biyu had said to me before she died because of that 'woman'?" Su Dongahi's tone became lighter. His eyes held something akin to pain.
"Yang Biyu's heart had been destroyed with hate. You knew about her medical condition. By that time, she killed herself she was no longer the same she used to be. She was no longer the Yang Biyu we once knew. Why must you bet your whole life for something like that." Su Guozhi said quietly. "It was not Tang Yuyan fault that she-"
"Don't say that woman's name in front of me!" Tremendous hate emerged in Su Donghai' eyes.
Su Guozhi was shocked. "Even after all this, you are still hung up on this?" Su Guozhi would not have a chance to chat with Su Dongahi often. It had been months, if not years after they had seen each other. To see Su Donghai still so passionate about that thing, Su Guozhi was shocked. Suddenly his eyes changed their color. Su Guozhi chuckled lightly. "Fine then. Let me tell you this as a gesture of kindness for being your brother." After a pause he said. Each word clear and loud. "You would not be able to harm Jing Lihua even in the slig
htest way." His tone had totally changed. It held a hint of warmth before. But now, it felt like more like he was talking to someone he despised from the bottom of his heart. Someone who was beyond redemption. "Have you not tried enough times already? All Jing Lihua had done is to only climb higher. Let me tell you this once. This is going to end in the opposite way. I will sit and watch while you destroy your Su family with your own hands."
"How would you feel when I will have your son destroy her."
For once, Su Guozhi laughed. "What are you trying to do saying this Elder Brother? I think this is clear between you and me. Even though none of us ever mentions it, it is totally known by both of us."
Su Donghai didn't say anything. "You know..."
Looking at this, Su Guozhi chuckled. "I had always known, Elder Brother. I had always known that Su Liwei is not my son."
...
Madame Bao's had taken Jing Lihua to a mall. They had spent some time together shopping and conversing happily. During the conversations, Jing Lihua repeatedly complimented her for the act she had pulled in front of Su Donghai. Jing Lihua was truly impressed. On the other hand, Madame Bao berated Jing Lihua not to put herself in a situation like this once again. She told Jing Lihua that if Su family ever created trouble for her, she wouldn't sit and watch but go straight to Li Zhiqiang an ask him to eradicate their existence from mainland China.
It took a long time for Jing Lihua to convince her not to do so.
Madame Bao was only convinced not to do so when Jing Lihua promised she wouldn't be so careless again and wouldn't give them a chance to bully her. Once done with shopping, they parted.
"Xiao Jing, why not come with me? I am new to Beijing. Perhaps you could show me around a few places."
Jing Lihua slightly bowed in apology. "Madame Bao, I am really sorry. I have a really urgent matter to attend to."
Mamdae Bao sighed in dejection. "Fine. But I will only let you go if you promise me that you will find time to guide me around in the future."
Jing Lihua. "..." Was her son not enough? Now she had to promise that to her too.
In the end, Jing Lihua could only leave after promising Madame Bao. She climbed into her car and put down the bags. For a moment, she massaged her temples. Then she received a call from Mei Xiu.
"President, today's evening is the time of Elder Heng's hearing. I had been havin
g our people follow Heng Bingwen all the time. This morning, he indeed headed in the direction of the location given by his Uncle."
"That fool." She almost wanted to throw something at Heng Bingwen. Back at that time when Jing Lihua had recruited him, he had been so skeptical of her. But now this time, he openly believed hs Uncle words even though his mother had repeatedly told him not to.
"Have all of our most well-trained marksman sent to that location." After shooting the order to Mei Xiu, Jing Lihua put her phone down and looked up.
"You know where to go?"
"Yes, President." Wang Yi turned the car in a specific direction.
