Chapter 328 - Death Of A Titan.
''This can't be…'' Azura muttered with disbelief and felt like her whole life was coming crashing down, ''D-Dad… W-Why… Y-You can't die… You are strongest…''
The teardrops disappeared in the snowy ground and became part of the snow.
''How… Did he die?'' Alena asked painfully after she was done reminiscing about the bittersweet relationship, which had heartaches but also sweet moments.
Owen sighed and shook his head, ''It is unknown, but maybe young Aether can tell us once he is done recovering.''
Alena turned her head towards his son, who was crying with a self quilt.
''Where is the ambulance?!'' She screamed towards her servants, her son was still suffering, and the ambulance was nowhere to be seen.
''I-It will arrive soon!'' One of the servants with a phone said with a trembling tone.
Alena crouched and wiped Azura's tears as she said gently, ''Ichiro will be fine— there is no way Abyss would have let him die.''
Aether's words got stuck inside his throat, and he remembered the scene of Abyss destroying Adamas. It was apparent that he tried to help Ichiro, but he still had to face one Martial King alone, and he is not sure whether Ichiro can handle it.
He had hopes of Ichiro appearing with a bolt of lightning, but that was crushed after hearing news about his dad's death.

Soon, the sound of an ambulance was heard.
Owen and servants stepped to the side and allowed the ambulance drivers to enter the yard.
They quickly checked Aether's injuries and came to the same conclusion as Alena. He is heavily injured.
Alena and Azura watched as they took Aether away without wasting any time.
Soon, the ambulance left, leaving only a trail of smoke behind.
Owen bowed and left as well.
''You all can go home,'' Alena said to servants and helped Azura to stand before entering the mansion.
The servants left quickly because most of them were in a hurry to spread the news among their families.
News about the death of legendary Abyss Nightside.
Alena closed the doors of the mansion, and without letting Azura look at her, she shedded tears before quickly wiping them away.
She turned around from looking at the door and saw Azura slumping down on the ground with her legs having not enough strength to keep her standing.
''I-I was a bad daughter… Wasn't I?'' Azura asked with her whole being filled with regret, ''I didn't want to spend time with him… E-Even though I knew he wanted to fix our relationship.'' Her tear-stained face made her look truly pitiful, which caused Alena to hug her petite body.
''He loved you… Don't blame yourself…'' She used her thumb and wiped Azura's tears, which was useless after more and more tears kept streaming down.
She helped Azura sit on the couch located in the living room.
''Wait here.'' She said and gave tissues for Azura before leaving for the kitchen.
She heard her daughter sobbing even more after she left. To Azura, she doesn't only think that she lost her father, but also things about the possibilities of losing her boyfriend.
In the kitchen. She poured a drink on the glass cup, but while pouring, she noticed teardrops landing on the drink.
On the other side of the kitchen, a mirror was located, and Alena saw teardrops pouring down from her eyes without stopping.
''That… Idiot…'' She stopped pouring the drink and sat down on the chair with more and more tears leaving her eyes.
Soon, a TV that was nailed on the wall of the kitchen started showing breaking news.
Alena, with her teary eyes, looked at the TV and increased the volume.
It was breaking news from National TV Station.
A middle-aged woman with a serious look and full black dress was sitting alone. It gave everyone an idea that the news won't be anything good.
Usually, if a news anchor is wearing full black, it means that someone important has died.
The beautiful middle-aged woman on the TV also had slightly reddish eyes, like she had cried not long time ago.
''Everyone, National TV brings you another piece of Breaking News.'' She grabbed a stack of papers with trembling hands. She understood the grave nature of the news she was about to say.
It will change the direction of the world in a very bad turn. Criminals and generally evil people will rise from their holes.
She doesn't want to say it, but her boss is forcing her to do so. If she refuses, she will get fired only for someone else to replace her.
From today onwards, everyone has to be wary of Rankless Ones because from now on, they don't have to fear of the appearance of a Legendary figure.
''Today, we have received news of the passing of a titan. A figure that safeguarded Humanity and kept it safe for over a decade…'' She paused for a moment, before gritting her teeth and continuing, ''Humanity's Hope, Abyss Nightside has been murdered, and Government has confirmed about his demise… The individual or organization who killed him is still a mystery, but we are living in dark times, and I suggest everyone to be safe from now on… From today onwards… The person who kept us safe is no more.''
After finishing, a tiny teardrops left her eyes and landed on the desk, which also signaled as the end of the News Broadcast.

Alena closed the TV and left the kitchen with a heavy look.
The mansion they were living on was built by Major of Coldland to get into Abyss' good books.
It was almost like an ancient relic by this point.
Everything reminded her of Abyss, and she doesn't want to stay even a second longer inside the mansion.
Looking towards the living room, she saw Azura's body from behind, but she saw her trembling and heard the sobbing sound.
Her heart ached to see her daughter like this. If it was done by a person, she would kill whoever hurt her daughter, but she can't do anything about her daughter's pain.
''Ichiro… Please return alive… She needs you…'' She muttered and closed her eyes with her hands locked, ''Please…''
