After hanging up the phone, An Xiaowan pursed her lips lightly.
The An Family was once rich and powerful, among others, in the Capital, and An Xiaowan was the precious Young Lady of the An Family.

Therefore, An Xiaowan always gave her things to An Xue, time after time, so that An Xue would not feel inconvenient or to have a feeling of living with self-restraint. This included the Princess bedroom which An Xiaowan’s father had designed for her, beautiful dresses which father bought for her, and so on… Even when she became a model afterward, she kept giving her endorsement opportunities to An Xue, she gave it all to An Xue on her own.
Yet, the moment something happened to her father, they became the most familiar strangers!
Now, the An Family was no longer related to her or her father, An Yanmo. It had become the possession of Du Yunlan and An Xue!
It was only after all these adversities that An Xiaowan understood that Du Yunlan and An Xue had been acting all along. They were always planning ways to get a hold of the assets owned by the An Family.
A strong and sudden knocking sound from the door brought An Xiaowan back from her memories.
The landlord’s voice sounded. “Are you at home? It’s time to pay your rent, little lady!”
An Xiaowan kept silent.
The landlord left quickly.
Now that her father, An Yanmo, had fallen into a vegetative state, she will have to pay for the use of expensive, life support machines required to sustain her father’s life every day. She also had to pay her rent, deal with the threat of Director Huang, find out the truth behind her father’s accident and take back everything that belonged to her, step by step!
Therefore, she can’t afford to lose her source of money.

An Xiaowan appeared outside the clubhouse at 7 pm sharp, wearing clothes that covered all the traces on her body.
This was one of the best high-end clubhouses in the Capital, frequented by the top rich section. There were various recreational activities, such as a spa, golf, and fencing, within a single facility. The enormous area had a luxurious and graceful style.
An Xiaowan dragged her feet and entered.
The top floor of the clubhouse had a private and exclusive suite, Huo Shen was lying lazing on the bed. Two young and pretty girls, wearing little translucent lacy dresses, were standing in an alluring posture as they bent over at their waists beside Huo Shen.
“President Huo… let us massage your leg… ” The girl who spoke had a sweet voice and her voice towards the end syllable turned seductive and sharp.
They were sent here to serve Young Master Huo, they must please this Master.
Huo Shen’s brows furrowed slightly as impatience flashed across his eyes.
The girls thought his silence was a sign of consent. As they looked at the handsome, tall and extraordinarily distinguished man, a flash of infatuation appeared in their eyes. Their hands started to move and just when they were going to touch his legs…

The girl held her soft hands and groaned softly in pain when suddenly her hands were roughly smacked away fiercely. Before she could react any further, she was already pushed away by Huo Shen, directly falling beside him on the ground.
Huo Shen’s handsome face was as dark as overcast clouds. Anyone could probably tell that he was displeased and disgusted with the girl’s touch.
“President,” Assistant Luo knocked on the door lightly and stood at the entrance as he spoke, “Ms. An is here.”
Huo Shen’s complexion improved, and he felt slightly relieved of the discomfort in his heart.
