Chapter 185: How Cold-Hearted
The girl couldn’t stop Sheng An, so she could only look at Sheng Yang for help.
She had heard of Sheng An and knew he was the youngest and most spoiled grandson of the Sheng family. She didn’t dare to do anything to him out of fear of retaliation from the Sheng family.
Of course, she couldn’t afford to offend Goddess Sheng either, but the kid called her sister. Shouldn’t she stop him from bullying her?
Now Sheng Yang just casually made a call and spoke a few words to the person on the other end.
Upon seeing this, Sheng An looked incredulous then sneered. “Do you think I’d be afraid of you?”
Sheng Yang turned the phone screen around, facing him. Seeing the phone number displayed on the screen, Sheng An sneered contemptuously, thinking that Sheng Yang was just pretending. However-
“Miss Sheng, we’ll arrive in five minutes.”
“You…” Sheng An let go of the girl’s dress and stood in Sheng Yang’s way as she was about to leave. “How could you do this to me? I’m your brother!”
Sheng Yang glanced at him and didn’t bother to speak to him.
My brother? I don’t have a brother like you!
But in a way, Sheng Yue and Sheng An were similar indeed. They both liked to claim their cousins as their brothers or sisters.
The police came very quickly. The female student who was almost stripped of her dress by Sheng An didn’t dare to say anything out of fear of offending the Sheng family, but Sheng Yang directly showed the police the video she took earlier. It was just a short clip but clearly showed what happened just now.
Sheng An had thought Sheng Yang was just bluffing; it was only then that he discovered she was serious.
No one dared to treat him like this. Even Brother Hanjing and Brother Yuxi gave in to him. Although they wouldn’t just let him do whatever he wanted, at least they wouldn’t directly call the police.
“No… you can’t just let the police take me away!” The police were about to take Sheng An Away. Although they would only reprimand him, Sheng An was still scared and tried to hold onto Sheng Yang.
However…
“Your sister is over there…” Sheng Yang pointed at Sheng Yue, and the latter shivered. How embarrassing. She didn’t want to clean up Sheng An’s mess at all.
**
In the evening, at the Sheng family home:
Sheng Yang was sorting her books and organizing them into different categories.
Sheng Hanjing suddenly walked in without his usual smile. “Yangyang, I heard Sheng An bothered you again?”
“It’s alright.” Sheng Yang didn’t take it seriously.
This kid was obviously starved for love. He just tried to attract others’ attention by acting out.
But Sheng Hanjing didn’t think so. He frowned crossly. This wasn’t the first time Sheng An harassed his sister.
“Was there anything else, Second Brother?” Sheng Yang saw the music score in Sheng Hanjing’s hands.
Sheng Hanjing’s face softened and he raised the music score. “Yangyang, we’re going to perform soon. Would you like to listen to our music?”
Although Elder Qian said he should show the music to his younger sister, Sheng Hanjing didn’t intend to force her to do that. If Yangyang had time, she could listen. If not, he wouldn’t mind.
“Yes, but just a minute, Second Brother.” Sheng Yang couldn’t tolerate leaving things half-done. Her obsessive-compulsive disorder forced her to put her books away first.
She spent five minutes finishing up, during which Sheng Hanjing waited for her patiently.
Then the two went to the piano room. Sheng Yuxi also arrived to ask what Sheng An did today as his friend told him bits and pieces, but then he saw that Second Brother was going to play the piano.
