The Ultimate Evolution Chapter 700 - 725

Chapter 700: Steelhunt Cannon

After exclaiming, they casted an exceptionally dubious glance at Mogensha. Even the upright Reef adopted an unspeakable wretchedness in his expression.
Brother Black could no longer keep his cool, as his lit cigar snapped from crunching his teeth. Blood rushed up throughout his body, causing his face to instantly turn flush. Nevertheless, his skin tone acted as the perfect camouflage and one couldn’t notice any change to his complexion. Except….his gritting teeth that betrayed his inner raging emotions.
“My…..&@#!$@!#!!!!”
Everyone could already anticipate Brother Black’s impending eruption, even those gang members. After all, they were already accustomed to their crime lord Biyombo’s fetishes.
Instantly, several dudes leaning against the club counter picked up beer bottles, as they strode over with barbaric expressions. Naturally, Reef and Sheyan were duty bound and marched forward, while the enraged Mogensha had straightforwardly brandished his AK.
Although Brother Black chose to disguise the golden brilliance of his beloved weapon, it still took the shape of a rifle. With the appearance of a rifle, the wariness and hostile atmosphere instantly soared by several folds. Biyombo’s men immediately yelled as they reached their hands towards their waists.
A second later, two beer bottles smashed Sheyan’s head and shattered. Sadly, only the froth from the beer caused Sheyan to squint his eyes, as he shook his head as though nothing happened.
Another second later, Sheyan swiftly grabbed a fruit knife by the side. With a twist of his hand, he thrusted it over and bluntly stabbed deep into the eye and into the brain of the beer bottle smashing culprit!
That unlucky brat’s face instantly turned rigid. Like a wooden stake, he toppled onto the ground as his spirit quickly soared towards heaven.
Such an appalling scene undoubtedly sparked a chain of shrilling gasps!
Meanwhile, Reef blatantly raised his arm and endured the attacks of two gang members. Without putting them in his eyes, he swung a kick across!
Reef’s current strength had been constantly improving. When dealing with these hooligans, it was akin to a tiger foraging a flock of sheeps. His single kick sent the two hoodlums flying for 7-8 metres, before they crashed onto the opposing club podium; knocking down metallic frameworks as they rattled clamorously down the podium.
Frankly speaking, one of the brat was too unlucky. After being kicked, his neck coincidentally swiped past a friendly blade which resulted in his artery being severed. Thus, blood splattered like a sprinkler truck as he flew through the air.
At that exact moment, a caucasian woman had been calmly drinking her beer while enjoying the fight. In the end, blood splashed onto her face and even filled up her half empty beer mug. She immediately released a shrilling scream with a decibel so high, the background music totally drowned it out.
At present, Abreu was completely at a loss with the current situation.
Fortunately, Reef concentrated on guarding him, as the sounds of gunfire and slaughtering resonated within his eyes; causing him to shiver excessively in fear. Still, not a single individual could render even half a point of damage to him.
For Reef to concentrate on protecting a single person, it was like a butcher handling his own cleaver with ease.
By now, Brother Black had already released fire, as fiery streaks of bullet darted through the air. Any foe who received his bullet was instantly mowed down.
Mogensha wielded his AK single handedly, as he hopped around and unleashed fiery tongues with this heavy semi-automatic rifle.
Da! Da! Da! Bullets interwove as they formed networks of death.
Actually, this Bugle club was relatively spacious, and the trio were situated at a corner of this club when the commotion had erupted. Numerous druggies filled the place, and were ruffled by sentiments they twerked and grinded bodies on the dancefloor. Dazzling lights shone on lingering fog, and apart from the ear splitting bass music, all other sounds were utterly drowned.
Nevertheless, with how massive a stir Mogensha was creating, a huge chaos had been incited within the club. Piercing screams and wails filled the atmosphere.
Brother Black grasped a half filled bottle of vodka as he angrily irrigated his mouth, before spitting out most of it. The spiciness of alcohol invigorated all his limbs and bones, as he charged for Biyombo with red eyes.
Brother Black wasn’t a homophobic. Merely, the feeling of being treated as a plaything in front of his comrades truly caused him to lose much face.
Nevertheless, the trio hadn’t figure out the usages for the ‘Soul Crystals’ they gained from the Avatar World, but they understood its value wouldn’t be measly. Since Biyombo chose not to give face, then Mogensha wanted to rip even his bones out!
Thinking of that, Mogensha removed his coat and sprinted forth with lightning pace. His exposed muscles were like chunks of black reefs, as perspiration coated them with a glossy luster. Jumping up a flight of stairs, he chased like a cheetah.
Yet when he was about to scale the entire flight of stairs, Mogensha unexpectedly sensed an immeasurable surge of threat! He hastily halted his pursuit, but alas, he had already climbed to the top of the stairs!
In that instance, countless powerful beams blasted in and dazzled Mogesha’s eyes in a field of white blurriness. He immediately attempted to dive away, instead, he felt as though his left shoulder was knocked by a truck. His body forcibly left the ground and soared for a dozen metres, as it dragged along a dull white fumes along the way.
At present, the fleeing Biyombo was holding a weapon brimming with futuristic flare. The weapon’s surface was coated in shimmering silver. Its shape was streamlined like a cylinder and was approximately a metre long. Its caliber was the size of an apple, and its muzzle swirled with a frightening blue radiance.
Biyombo’s left cheek was stained with blood, as half his ear was ruptured by Mogensha’s bullet! Biyombo then howled hoarsely.
“Come! Come! Nobody can shake my place! Whoever dares oppose me, can only die!”
Yet while Biyombo was hooting, he suddenly felt a tremor; as though the entire building was dreadfully shuddering!
The tremors persisted and moments later, the floor ahead of Biyombo abruptly collapsed in! All of a sudden, a dark blue long saber thrusted through the tremendous crater, and a second later, a robust hand gripped Biyombo’s ankle and fiercely dragged him down.
Just when the enemies were turning the tides, Sheyan had swiftly seen through the gang member’s weak point and directly combated the root of the problem!
Several hoodlums remained bewildered on the upper floor as they exchanged glances with each other. After a fleeting echo of Biyombo’s despairing wails, excluding the music, a quietness then followed.
What caused their spectacles to drop was that brat who was clearly blasted by the Steelhunt Cannon. Though crashing pathetically against tables and benches, he was actually scrambling back up and cursing vehemently. Smoky fumes emitted from his left shoulder as it slumped lifelessly.
Evidently, Mogensha’s wound wasn’t light, but he didn’t appear to be struggling for his life.
Those hooligans were completely stunned. The ‘Steelhunt Cannon’ was a weapon specially employed against those terrifying dinosaurs. Biyombo had fetched a sky high price to acquire this weapon from the military! Some dinosaurs could only withstand three cannon blasts from it. It was already a miracle this fella hadn’t been torn asunder after receiving a direct blast. Instead, he was actually still scrambling back up!!
Instantaneously, they realized they had encountered individuals who they couldn’t afford to provoke. With Biyombo’s current situation pointing to a disaster, they instantly turned and ran.
Yet right at this moment, a few individuals streamed into the club from outside. They wielded extremely peculiar weapons that were probably used to hunt dinosaurs.
Upon sighting the trio, they immediately opened fire without spewing a single word. This was because their leader, was Biyombo’s blood brother.
After a series of intense crossfires, the outcome was completely lacking in suspense. The group of hoodlums were beaten till they pissed their pants and fled. In spite of that, those special dinosaur hunting weapons caused a great deal of problems to the trio.
The military definitely didn’t sell weapons with deadly killing potential to them, not even broken ones. This wasn’t because those weapons could easily damage the dinocrystals, but to ensure a containable level of security in society. At most, only 1-2 weapons of Biyombo’s ‘Steelhunt Cannon’ were leaked out.
The peculiar weapons those hoodlums acquired all inclined towards auxiliary functions. For example, Sheyan was unfortunately sprayed with hypermucus, which was equivalent to throwing one into a pool of all-purpose glue! Whatever he touched, would adhere onto his hand.
Another example was an electric shock fork. When this weapon shot out, there would be no pain at all. This was to protect the shooter, preventing him from being discovered by the dinosaur. After a definite time from the blast of an electric shock fork, horrifying electric shocks would then occur every ten seconds!
Though the shocks weren’t fatal, it was pure torture to the dinosaurs; not being able to mate, sleep as they slowly wasted away.
Talking about capturing wild beasts, one definitely cannot omit a rope net. Reef was indeed victimized by one such rope net. The ropes were extremely flexible and would gradually tighten. As long as one exerted force in resistance, it would loosen up. Yet after loosening up, the ropes would continue to obstinately tighten…..
In contrast to the bullets from firearms, those peculiar weapons caused the trio a much greater deal of troubles.
Especially for Sheyan. After being polluted with hypermucus, he totally lost all privilege of free mobility. Any random junk would stick onto his body, and it even discharged a disgusting odour. That scene caused Mogensha and Reef to drop to the floor laughing.
Ultimately, Abreu managed to find a guy who mentioned that bathing in gasoline would neutralize the hypermucus. Only then, was Sheyan finally freed.Chapter 701: Finalizing the plan

Under the guidance of a miserable gang underling, the trio naturally cleaned up Biyombo’s hideout. Oh, wrong, his office.
Regrettably, Biyombo had already delivered his latest batch of dinocrystals, and only presented the trio with a large bag of cash.
The cash couldn’t be exchanged for utility points or brought out of this world, and appeared to be completely useless in upgrading their battle capabilities.
After some contemplation, Mogensha seized another gang underling, and forced him to lead them to the underground arms market of this Mattrine district. After a series of prodigal spending, the trio exchanged the currencies they looted for two weapons.

[ Detail: When used on storyline characters/creatures, the shock will cause a huge dip in movement speed but similarly induce agonizing hatred in them ]
[ Description: As a weapon that has fired off 300 times already, it is critically over the limit. When triggering this weapon, pray that it would not explode in your hands ]
[ Description: Pouring additives into this can be a good choice ]
[ Shamier Jolting Gun ]
[ Unique Weapon ]
[ Unable to be brought out of this world, and cannot be used on other contestants ]
[ A calcium salt crystal hailed as Aural Calculus dangles from a lymph deep inside a dinosaur’s ear. This is a vital organ that maintains its hearing balance ]
[ Detail: The ‘Shamier Jolting Gun’ will induce violent resonance against the Aural Calculus. Hence, it presents a chance of stunning the dinosaur with confusion, but similarly induce agonizing hatred in them ]
[ Detail: This is a brand new weapon. Please refrain from over excitement my friend. A brand new weapon represents that it hasn’t gone through sufficient testing. Therefore, when activating this weapon, the sonic ripples may influence your own hearing equilibrium. It may also attract the attention of surrounding dinosaurs. Activating it also requires the ammunition of one dinocrystal ]
[ Description: If you aren’t dead after ten times of employing this weapon, then I believe, the military will pay a pleasant sum to purchase it ]
*
Biyombo’s death created great waves throughout the district of Mattrine. To the scums of society, this wasn’t a common occurrence, but neither was it a rare one. In all honesty, it had just been a month since Biyombo plotted against his former leader and succeeded his position.
Since he could resort to such means to eliminate others, others could employ methods to end him as well. Nobody would see vengeance for Biyombo. Still, his death left a position of power empty, and created much brawling between gang factions.
Four humans strolled out from the underground arms market. The sky darkened yet again. Sounds of vehicle honking could be heard from afar.
A black male, whose face revealed a spider tattoo, swooshed past in a jeep accompanied by his three underlings. He had clearly noticed the faces of those four humans, but on the contrary, his jeep accelerated faster; unwilling to tarry further in this place.
In the past, he gave his life to strive under Biyombo, yet henceforth, he would strive for his own interests.
After trudging past a small cart, Sheyan suddenly caught whiff of an aromatic scent. The owner of this cart was a black male with a grizzled flat top. His kitchen stove was a modified recycled gasoline tank, where flames raged beneath,. The aromatic scent permeated out from a charred aluminium mess tin atop the stove.
Looking closer into the mess tin, one could see beef, corn, noodles, potatoes and carrots boiling in porridge. This dish was known as ‘Gedan’. This dish was analogous to the staple thin pancakes found in the northern parts of China.
Sheyan also noticed a shelf of suspended, large skewered drumlets behind. Looking closer at the skin of those drumlets, one could actually see scales and patterns; resembling a part of a hunted dinosaur’s limb.
When the cart owner noticed them, he cordially greeted and conversed a little with Mogensha. Then, they took a seat at an oily and filthy table. The owner then served a huge bowl of Gedan over, which even contained a palm sized butter cookie on top.
Gedan was smoothly light on the mouth, and for an individual with a large appetite, 2-3 mouthfuls would suffice to gobble a bowl up. Following how he ate youtiao (chinese fried churros) and soy milk, he first munched on the butter cookie; feeling its unique and tough sweetness before drinking half a mouth of Gedan. The flavour was truly wondrous.
While munching his second butter cookie, he suddenly but onto something weird within that issued a crispy fragrance; something he hadn’t tasted before. With an invigorated look, he realized it was a fried grasshopper and termite, where the grasshopper’s head had been munched off. Sheyan carefully chewed several times, and realized that this special taste truly suited his preference.
At this moment, Brother Black called out. A robust looking black chap sprinted out from the tent behind, and raised a shiny sharp knife. Pointing it to the dinosaur limb behind, he asked several questions before carve a chunk of meat off and started roasting it above a grill.
a glance at Brother Black; gesturing him to clarify their intentions to Abreu. Besides, Mogensha was the more sociable kind, and his similar skin tone impressed a sense of familiarity on Abreu.
Brother Black forthrightly opened a silver briefcase filled with cash they plundered from Biyombo earlier, and tempted Abreu.
“You desire this?”
Fat Abreu exposed a greedy lust in his eyes and nodded energetically.
Brother Black directly divulged.
“Let us locate one person, then this belongs to you.”
Abreu doubtfully muttered.
“I feel I’m not suited for such a…”
Mogensha then interrupted him.
“What I mean by locating someone, is locating through satellite surveillance. Accurately phrasing, leveraging the thirteen geosynchronous orbit satellites the Istres Leka Communications Corporation has developed for the military. According to my understanding, that ought to be your forte.”
Abreu shrugged his shoulders and replied.
“Sir, I’m sorry to disappointed but you guys are half a year too late. I’ve already left that blasted place a long time ago.”
Sheyan insipidly chimed in.
“We’ve considered persuading current workers of the Istres Leka Communications Corporation, however, they are all under strict protection. Touching them would mean starting a war with the nation if things go awry. At least for now, we feel it isn’t necessary. Thus, we decided to seek you out first. Mister Abreu, an easy task wouldn’t warrant such abundant remunerations right?”
Abreu reached out and greedily caressed the neatly arranged cash in the briefcase. That year, he was fired for accepting a bribe. Thus in his present frustrated poverty, the thirst for money amplified intensely! His throat squirmed as he answered.
“You’ve lost contact with a friend inside the disaster zone right? Which explains the reason for needing satellite surveillance to monitor the dinosaur disaster zone and rescue your friend eh?”
Mogensha nodded.
Abrue chuckled silently.
“I must tell you this first. I’ve received many of such missions from the military before, but mostly, the eventual outcome would be finding their clothes, backpacks, weapons, or even a single body party; there was once only a skull left behind as well.”
“She’s definitely alive.” Sheyan laughed. “We aren’t your usual people, you don’t have to worry about such things.”
Abreu prudently pondered before negotiating.
“Fine, but I have a few conditions you must fulfil.”
Sheyan was moved internally. What he feared the most was having no solutions. Naturally, a negotiation meant good news! He instantly answered.
“Speak.”
At this moment, the dinosaur meat was delivered up. It was roasted in a rather peculiar fashion; roasted to a succulent medium done. The dinosaur meat presented a surge of unique flavour, tasting like veal dipped in special fish sauce mixed with shallots, garlic, lilac and onions. Ths was truly a one-in-a-kind experience.
The four of them were famished, especially Abreu. After being aware that he wasn’t being kidnapped to be killed but to earn big bucks, he chewed down the dinosaur meat with enormous chomps, as he spoke with a muffled tone.
“Firstly, according to your request, I need to infiltrate access of minimally three satellites. Moreover, this is on the condition of avoiding notice for at least two hours. I cannot handle this alone, and require an assistant.”
“Possible.” Sheyan nodded. “State the name and we’ll invite him.”
“Secondly, there’s a total of thirteen satellites monitoring the dinosaur disaster zone, whereas there should be 47 corresponding base stations in the vicinity. We must gain control of a base station for at least 120 minutes. The base stations is constructed with faultless reinforced concrete, with at least 7-9 soldiers guarding against dinosaur infiltration. I can create an interference that will obstruct all distress signals for only three minutes. This goes to say that, we have to completely occupy and take control of the base station within three minutes.”
“Not a problem.” Reef replied with a deep tone.
“Thirdly, and my final point. Gentlemen, committing this deed may warrant me as a criminal. Although the finances here is rather generous, it is still somewhat insufficient for a sad fleeing convict. What more, he still has a good half of his life to live on? Especially, this amount has to be shared between that temporary colleague…..”
Sheyan chortled and played his concerns down.
“That is easily resolvable. You just need to tell us, who amongst the scums of Mattrine district, is wealthier than Biyombo. So now, tell me this won’t you? If everything goes smoothly, how long do I have to wait before getting news of my comrade?”
“3-4 hours, boss. Anything exceeding that, you can chop off my leg and roast it for dinner….” Abreu bite of a huge chunk of dinosaur meat as he nonchalantly declared.
“I do fancy such individuals with great confidence.” Sheyan laughed.Chapter 702: Base station raiding strategy

Roughly an hour later, the trio once against created a huge uproar amongst the underground societies of Mattrine district. They eliminated a corrupted businessmen, Sewali. After plundering a portion of Sewali’s wealth, they hurled cash everywhere and succeeded in upsurging an unbelievable chaos in the place; thus allowing them to escape.
Next up, was obviously to convince Abreu’s assistant.
The assistant was called Ache, and just as bad as Abreu, he was similarly fired from the corporation. The only difference was that Abreu was fired due to greed, while Ache was fired for his exuberant desire for knowledge.
If Ache was the son of a tycoon, he would probably have a shot of becoming the next Edison. He loved complex engineering issues the most; dismantling machineries to learn the principles within before assembling them back. The more complex the devices, the more intoxicated he became.
Finally one day, he could no longer resist the temptation of a base station satellite. On one moonless and windy night, after getting his colleague drunk, his evil clutches finally stretched towards the naked sheep.
Ache believed he could easily dismantle the security sensors, where he would have another hour for research, before assembling the sensors within one hour again. If he managed those three hours well, he would likely succeed in examining the satellite apparatus and mask it as a malfunction afterwards.
Sadly, he overestimated himself this time…when fully armed soldiers charged into the base station, Ache had only assembled half the sensor and even installed wrongly a single electronic component.
Hence, Ache was fired. Fortunately, he hadn’t caused any tremendous losses or damage, and his direct supervisor merely confiscated all his assets and kicked him out.
At present, Ache was working as an automobile engineer at a car workshop. Twelve hours a day, his body would be covered in oil and grease.
Thus, without expending much efforts, Abreu managed to easily seduce Ache into follow hime with stacks of cash.
“Where’s our next destination?” Piloting a army jeep, Sheyan turned to inquire of Abreu.
Abreu looked down and carefully examined a digital map he was balancing on his knee, his hand shielding his eyes from the incoming rush of wind.
“Hmmm, base stations within a fifty kilometres radius around Mattrine district……oh, 1, 2, 3,4, 5……a total of seven. Hey Ache, which one are you most familiar with?”
Ache was a puny skinny chap, and was curled up within a large coat. He murmured.
“West, the one on the west in the coordinate C36, K12. That area has suffered dinosaur raids for five times already. Besides, that base station is one of the least important one, it’ll probably be demolished soon…..hey Abreu, I just realized acceding to you is a huge mistake! With me, we only have five guys, just five guys! There’s still a total of 31 miles to reach that place where birds wouldn’t defecate either. We can only pray to the lord if we hope to arrive there by car safely.”
Just when Ache concluded his statement, an outburst erupted unexpectedly from a nearby heap of rubble. Closely after, several shadows dashed out in a uniform line. Those shadows appeared like wolves, but had long tails at their rears and lizard skin. When they scurried forward, they looked like triangular serpent headed kangaroos!
The dashing speed of these shadows were immensely swift. Even a cross country jeep travelling at 60 miles per hour was caught up by them.
When Ache witnessed this scene, he cried out bitterly.
“Shit shit shit! Those are Mussaurus, ahhh they’ve locked onto us! After the dinosaurs had invaded the mainland, these Mussaurus are one of the newest breeds. It’s said they are ten times deadlier than a similar pack of wolves!”
Yet at this moment, Sheyan jammed break the car. After a screeching drift, he and Reef leapt out, while Mogensha stood up from the co-pilot seat. He was still lazily puffing on a cigar while positioning his AK.
To the contestants, dealing with a pack of Mussaurus comparable to normal wildlife, wouldn’t take them much effort. After all, this was merely nearing the periphery of the dinosaur disaster zone. Those beasts that were viewed as savage hunters, were practically like dried twigs to the contestants, as they started massacring the pack of Mussaurus.
Not long later, the remaining Mussaurus released sharp roars and fled, In the face of danger, they could sense threat and retreat accordingly.
At this point, Reef glanced at Ache again and earnestly reassured.

“Buddy, the lord looks over every one of us.”
Encountering such an aspect, apart from wryly smiling, what else could Ache say?
Still, after witnessing the formidability of the trio, he couldn’t help but develop great confidence in this operation. Besides, in his opinion, it needed 30 fully armed soldiers to deal with such a pack of Mussaurus. This meant that the battle capabilities of this trio, each surmounted that of 10 fully armed soldiers!
Thus, campaigning against 7-8 guarding soldiers at the base station no longer seemed so arduous. After all, both Abreu and Ache were fully aware of how the security of those satellite base stations was like. Furthermore, most of the defensive mechanisms were targeted towards combating dinosaurs and not humans.
Thinking of that, Ache couldn’t help but yell.
“Wait, wait! Bring along the caracasses of those Mussaurus!’
*
Rain pelted down on a sandy desolated wasteland. The majority of vegetation here was maize. Modern time scientists have introduced a new name for it, known as Poaceae’s Spurs.
These were a genetic variation of maize. After absorbing much excretion from genetically modified dinosaurs. They propagated with matchless pace to cover the vast stretches of wastelands, and overwhelmed the ecology of plants here with their frightening growth rate. Thus, they also became the most crucial and unparalled food source for herbivorous dinosaurs.
The trio and company pushed their way through a cluster of craggy rocks, trying their best to knock loose rocks and exposing their tracks. In areas difficult to traverse, they bent their waists and gently climbed through.
By the side of a red rock, Sheyan scanned his surroundings before gesturing for Ache and Abreu. The duo strenuously shoved through random vegetation and arrived at that rock. After lifting the rock and digger for half a metre down, a seemingly futuristic optical cable was seen.
Ache swallowed his saliva and exclaimed.
“Just by pulling some tricks here, and we can cause much headaches at the satellite base station. For example, unstable voltage or bad signal frequency, but nothing too huge to arouse their concern. They will rush here for a quick check, because most of the time, the culprits are those Mussaurus. With their frequent appearances, it wouldn’t arouse any particular alertness in the base.”
Abreu shrugged his shoulders.
“As such, by pulling some tricks here, five soldiers and two engineers will probably make their way here within 15 minutes. Whether we can quickly dispatch them and successfully infiltrate the base, depends on your ability. Remember, don’t let them have the chance to release a distress signal, and we need their access pass too.”
Sheyan knitted his brows.
“How do they release a distress signal?”
Abreu replied.
“The squad leader wears a black watch on his wrist. It has three buttons that represent different situations. One button represents the highest level of danger, where fighter jets would be sent here in 20 minutes, and serve us a taste of their newest Poisonstinger Guided Missiles.”
“Got it.” Sheyan nodded.
He glanced at Mogensha and casted a throat cutting gesture. Mogensha’s eyes revealed a doubtful glint but his hand shifted towards the ‘Silver Sparta Long Spear’ by his waist.
Sheyan nodded. Mogensha was a little startled but nodded at once.
The following event of severing a power switch was needless to elaborate.
Not long later, the shuffling sounds of footsteps and vexed voices resounded from afar.
“Those pesky Mussaurus. If I capture them alive, I will carve out their brains and stuff them up their arses!”
“I just hope those nasty creatures haven’t caused too much damage. Let’s finish this within half an hour, my game’s waiting for me.”
Evidently, the ones speaking were the engineers. By their sides, four trained and disciplined soldiers spreaded to guard them.
All of a sudden, a soldier raised his hand, prompting the rest to halt. That soldier maintained a vigilant aim with his gun which was loaded and ready. They noticed a shadow ahead and slowly proceeded to encircle it.
“Strange, why did a Mussaurus die here? A soldier asked curiously.
“Oh, heavens, guys look here. The way this Mussaurus died…..was it crushed by a road roller?”
The squad of soldiers curiously inched forward.
But at this moment, a vigorous and swift human figure somersaulted out and pulled out a weapon in mid air. Within a flash, electric currents surged as he hurled the weapon forth, before a chain lightning bolted out! With a gloomy whistle, the lightning enshrouded everything within a ten metre square radius!
The chain lightning bounced around, causing those humans to howl in anguish. Electric currents filled their bodies as they convulsed repeatedly on the ground. Still, the current stubbornly lingered and wriggled through their body’s surfaces.
In mere seconds, the tiny squad convulsed and breathed their last. All of them were peacefully sprawled on the ground. Their hairs stood erect as electric current continued to mercilessly bounce around their bodies. Even their electronic devices suffered faint crackles, before some exploded into flames.
This scene appeared additionally tragic amidst the stillness of the night.Chapter 703: Chop off the mouthpiece

“Change to their clothes, those electric currents won’t hurt you.” Sheyan whispered. “Right, you did tell us those damned access passes wouldn’t be damaged by electricity, right?”
The flabbergasted Abreu and Ache finally jolted back to their senses. They still felt that were dreaming as they uttered.
Y-y-yes, yes, yes……the access pass are made with the new Jebeke circuits and is designed to withstand hundred thousand volts….”
“Shut it, I just needed an answer not concepts. Quick got retrieve their access cards, our time is limited.” Sheyan’s tone became heavier and filled with an indescribable menacing awe.
Abreu and Ache were slightly shocked before they competed to race to the corpses. While searching for the access passes, they naturally looted the deceased’s wallets, rings, and other valuables as well. It seemed like the life of poverty had affected them deeply.
The following events were needless to say. The trio occupied absolute supremacy. Since they could even mentally calculate the fight in their mind, the operation naturally succeeded without a hitch.
To their pleasant surprise, three other engineers were actually residing in this base station as well! Those three unlucky brats were just here for a random check, but were unexpectedly implicated and held prisoner.
Without a doubt, under the threat of bullets, those three engineers became capable assistances to Abreu and Ache. To ensure their full cooperation, Sheyan agreed to preserve their lives and bind them up before leaving.
With three additional aids, the theoretical efficiency and speed in utilizing the satellite surveillance to locate Zi increased by 200%. At least, they would definitely complete within those two hours.
***
Undoubtedly, Abreu was an exceedingly greedy fella with mere passable skills. Instead, Ache was truly exceptional. With his assistance, it took a trifling 40 minutes for four of those satellites, countless miles above their heads, to begin stealthily servicing this base station.
According to the norms, this was an illegal operation. Yet in this future, the new energy stemming from dinocrystals had started shaping human nature, more and more towards wealth, profits and interests. Even uncorrupted militaries would, at times, skirt around the legal line.
Furthermore, the trio’s operation was held during the wee hours of the morning. Most personnels were asleep, while the few night shift workers were all battling drowsiness. What more, with a inner thief like Abreu who knew the headquarters regulations inside out. Hence, they didn’t attract any unwanted attention. Presumably, it would probably take 4-5 hours for this criminal activity to see the light.
A 3D construct of the dinosaur disaster zone materialized before the trio’s eyes. The isolation of this zone had roughly occurred for six years already. The zone followed a long stretch of coastal region, including shorelines, deserts, islands, mountains and other complex topography. The entire area spanned a frightening 2,600,000 square kilometres.
If not for technology progressing at an immeasurably rapid pace in this timeline, it wouldn’t have been so convenient to isolate such a special and astronomical zone. Of course, the technology progress in this world probably led the real world by 35 – 50 years. Otherwise, although 13 satellites sounded a lot, it wouldn’t be realistic to monitor the entire surface of this vast zone.
Of course, it was also because of the complex and tangled terrain of the dinosaur disaster zone, that allowed the trio an opportunity to fish in troubled waters.
“I’ve already infiltrated the main network of the headquarters.” Ache explained with slightly dispirited demeanor. This was because of those three unexpected engineers, saving much time with regards to breaking the network code and such. Thus, Ache felt like a hero but with no chance to display his might.
“Please tell me your request.”
Sheyan contemplated a little before replying.
“Bring out the records of all battles that happened in the past 48 hours.”
“Ache glanced at Sheyan with slight astonishment and replied.
“Sir, in the past 48 hours, there has been a total of….310,344 instances of battles that occurred in the disaster zone. Are you sure you want to replay all of it?”
Brother Black was presently lazily chewing on a gum. Upon hearing that, he gaped in shock as the gum dropped out of his mouth.
“What the hell? That many?”
Abreu shrugged his shoulders.
“That isn’t a terrifying figure actually. That is the reason why so many base stations have been constructed. Sir, you should know, this plot of land polluted by Cretaceous era gigantic green reptiles, is estimatedly 5-6 times the size of the previous French Republic. Anyway, the battle records also includes dinosaurs mutually hunting hunting each other.”
“Oh, fine then.” Sheyan nodded. “Reduce the scope of search to considerably large battles between only humans.”
With that single request, a massive portion of battle records were eliminated. Nevertheless, nearly 5,200 remained. Screening through such a figure sounded within reach, but is actually unrealistically far-fetched.
Fine then, let me bring out an intuitive comparison. Please open out all hidden documents in your computer, and start counting the amount of japanese porn videos. Counting a hundred is already a chore, who would continue to conscientiously observe?
(ED: Mr. Author returns with his amazing analogies!)
“Place a second set of filter. Within the battle records, eliminate all that doesn’t include any females.” Sheyan calmly ordered.
Instantly, 4,800 battle records were shaved off. In such a cruel hunting ground like the dinosaur disaster zone, the inferiority of a woman’s stamina was magnified. The majority of them here was mainly in accompanying male partners, allowing them to release their prostate hormone fluids, while others, for the money.
Thus, they could only resort to filtering with their naked eyes for the remaining 400 battle records. Sheyan, Reef and Mogensha huddled together. As they filtered through the battle records, they personally witnessed scenes of the Illume-union being annihilated.
According to Abreu, the satellites definitely weren’t omnipotent. It wouldn’t be possible to truly monitor every single battlegrounds due to terrain and other factors, but could roughly harvest only 70%.
Thus, the trio only witnessed several scenes of clashes between Glory Party and the Illume-union. After viewing the footages, Sheyan was enlightened that he had truly underestimated Glory Party. Even if they did join hands with Illume-union previously, a direct frontal collision would still result in zero odds of victory.
“Pause here.” Sheyan observed the front portrait of Zi while locked in combat. Her blue robe was fluttering vigorously along the wind, while her tall and elegant figure was portrayed in great details. Even in such dire straits, her charm blended with unrivalled heroism to paint an enchantment impossible for other women to replicate.
“Our target is that woman. Quick, track her whereabouts.”
In this instant, both Abreu and Ache could already anticipate Sheyan’s command. To them, an additional second in the zone presented untold dangers to one’s life. Since they now had a concrete target, they naturally exhibited their full talents!
Massive loads of data and code started pouring out, as the paused image was swiftly scanned and duplicated. Soon, a 3D model of Zi formed along with her various actions. Right now, at least five satellites were faintly in action and serving the trio.
Concurrently, Sheyan seized the three captured engineers over, and commanded them to focus to filtering through the battle records previously sieved out. Ultimately, he effortlessly obtained a piece of information.
There wasn’t a single battle footage that included those individuals from the Skull Party. Not even a single footage of the Skull Party members battling dinosaurs were found.
This clearly indicated one possibility. There was truly a mole that had infiltrated the main satellite systems, and not only was he leveraging on them as their eyes and ears, he was strangling the opportunities for other parties to leverage the satellite system.
Thus, they could deduce that at least in this aspect, the Skull Party surmounted the Illume-union and even Glory Party.
“From how we can acquire achievement points from slaying them, I can determine that they definitely aren’t allied contestants. Since I possess a disruption protective screen, but I’ll still be forced to act passively……why not take the chance to chop off this spying mouthpiece!”
Thinking of that, Sheyan’s lips curled into a sly smirk.
“Ache, for outsiders like us, is there a possibility of acquiring the legal services of the satellite network for the long run?”
Ache answered without hesitation.
“Extremely difficult, sir. Unless you obtain authority from three nation leaders.”
“Are there any other unconventional methods?” Sheyan intriguingly asked. “Say for example, exploiting certain loopholes, or sneaking into the place to access the network?”
Upon hearing that, Ache placed down his task on hand and muttered.
“Theoretically speaking, there ought to be a possibility sir. Besides, this network system had been developed six years ago, thus, I can’t say the technology is completely flawless. Moreover, the management seems to have become rather lax, if one were to audaciously employ certain advanced technology, there should be a possibility of accomplishing that.”Chapter 704: It’s him?

“Excellent.” Sheyan then earnestly continued.
“I can bet my rival is presently exploiting such a loophole and causing me a great deal of troubles. Tell me, are there any ways to alert the satellite system supervisor on this? Perhaps, upgrading the technology or other means of mending this loophole, thereby preventing others from exploits?”
Ache pondered a little. He then pointed to the three engineers by Sheyan’s side, who were still quivering in fear.
“You need to ask them on this matter, but sir, i need to inform you. If any accident happens, we must depart immediately, because what we are currently doing, is similarly exploiting a loophole.”
To express their value, the three engineers instantly exclaimed with trembling voices.
“T-There is!!! As long as the exploitations of such loopholes delivers substantial and noticeable damages to the satellite system construct, then your aim would be accomplished!”
Sheyan released a faint smile and replied.
“Ah well, I don’t know how to cause such damages.”
“Whenever you want an accident to happen sir, then the accident will happen! Sir, damaging the construct is actually much simpler than building it up, especially in the respect of electronic software!”
The few engineers seemed to exhibit utmost confidence in this matter as they spoke in unison.
Sheyan folded his arms across his chest and nodded without replying. Instead, Reef abruptly blurted in the party channel.
“Weird, I feel this matter is rather weird. If taking care of the Skull party’s spy is so simple, why wouldn’t Glory Party and Illume-union do that? Clearly, the Skull Party members aren’t allied forces.”
Sheyan chuckled in response.
“That’s because by plugging such loopholes, both the Illume-union or Glory Party wouldn’t be able to exploit such shortcuts in the future. Maybe, the Skull Party possesses a member adept in computer hacking, however, it doesn’t mean they’ll encounter the Skull Party again in this world the next time. Seeing how much painstaking efforts the Illume-union and Glory Party have channeled into this world, if they created a roadblock for themselves, what about their next venture into this world? Only an outsider like me will act without the slightest scruple; without a single fart of apprehension!”
“Oh right.” Sheyan suddenly recalled something and quickly instructed.
“Help me check up on someone else. This person is most probably a militant. Back in that previous western district, he entered a building with a young man. I’ll share you the coordinates in a while. This militant then left the building alone, as for the time period……within 48 hours ago.”
Soon after, the results arrived. An engineer mumbled in fear and trepidation.
“Sir, the footage of that area has been deleted, but tracing the action back, it is Lieutenant Colonel Wester who ordered it.”
Sheyan then issued a cold smile.
“Wester is it? I got it.”
“I’ve got it!” Abreu abruptly shouted the same phrase.
“She’s currently engaged in battle! At coordinates S33, K73. Oh shit, such a ravishing female fighter, she actually dares to venture into the central of the disaster zone! It seems another group of human is rapidly approaching, are they going to meddle in her battle?!”
***
Blood trickled down Zi’s left arm.
Dark red blood.
Snow white arm.
Such melancholic beauty tainted with unexplainable cruelty.
Her slender fingers clutched tightly around sword shafts.
The shafts of two indescribable silver rapiers.
She released an impression of seemingly holding others’ life……and death!
Her eyes fixated icily onto Sable. Originally a pair of enchanting eyes, but due to the two imposing and strange vertical pupils within, they exhibited an anguished killing intent!
“How is this possible? HOW is it possible?!?” The haughty and frenzied Sable unexpectedly staggered several steps back, although he didn’t receive a single attack! This fully indicated the frantic upheaval tormenting his heart!!
“Awakening your ‘Dragonforce Bloodline’ can only be done in full optimal state, but you’ve clearly used an honorary medicine dosage just two hours ago! How did you recover to optimate state again?!!!!”
Yet nobody answered him. Only, Yuan Zhan’s figure blurred amidst the nearby darkness, as he speedily fled. Then, an incomparably callous voice was squeezed out from the gaps of his teeth.
“Aldaris! You have the guts to betray Zeus!”
In this instant, Zi glanced away from Yuan Zhan’s location! Within a split second, her body transformed with gorgeous resplendent silver, looking like a combusting meteorite spearing through the atmosphere. As she emitted a piercing splendorous radiance, she ferociously jabbed her glittering silver rapiers towards Sable!
Ding! Dang! Ding! Dang! Her silver rapiers thrusted ferociously against Sable’s vertebra long saber like a tempestuous rainstorm!
Sable was aware of how terrifying Zi could be after awakening her ‘Dragonforce Bloodline’, and knew he probably couldn’t triumph in a head on collision. Nevertheless, he had just received an exceedingly favourable news. Thus, he shifted focus to merely stalling her, and obstinately clung on to the defend only mantra.
Out of the blue, one of Zi’s thrusting rapier was imbued with an energy ignition; as though all surrounding brilliance were absorbed and poured into her thrusting silver rapier!
The congealing brilliance caused even the darkness of night and howling winds to surge violently around it!
Sable guarded with his vertebra saber, but instantaneously, his body was involuntarily swept up by a gale up to three metres high. Not only that, his shirt was simultaneously being ripped down by a tremendous transparent force, before being fanatically shredded apart in mid air.
The gale was seemingly pregnant with incredibly shrilling and oppressive dragon roars, causing one to subconsciously feel their hearts freezing up!
While Zi was locked in combat with Sable, that queer shadow had fully surfaced from the puddle of blood over the dead ‘Poison Needle Cactus’.
The shadow’s hand pressed onto the ground, while its other hand gripped an exceptional bewitching and nefarious bone dagger! Clumps of blood sludge dripped off from the shadow’s body, before coagulating into blood rubies that seemingly couldn’t assimilate with its body.
This shadow then casually tossed aside an object that looked like a fruit crust, before casting a glimpse at Zi.
Sable, who had pulled a gap in between, gritted his teeth and berated.
“I see, so you’ve given that object acquired in the Avatar World to Zi eh? The ‘Mystic Herb’ personally brewed by the Omaticaya Clan’s Tsahik. Ah, what a generous brat!”
Aldaris remained silent. Instead, he swayed briefly where he stood, before abruptly dashing towards Yuan Zhan.
His dashing posture was seemingly near parallel to the ground. The distance made with every step was mechanically pristine, as his charge carried a graceful chilling wind. Wherever he flitted past seemed as though the air was devoured, leaving a wake of crackling sonic booms trailing his body!
Having laboriously setting up his fort in this second floor of the building for so long, he had always been wary of any sudden assaults by Zi. This was because the three of them understood even the roots and foundations of each other. Thus, Yuan Zhan feared she would drag one along to share the same fate as her before she perished!
As a pure summoner, Yuan Zhan’s vitality was undoubtedly a weakness. Hence, for such a fragile individual, he naturally possessed an innumerable amount of protective contingencies.
Observing Aldaris charging through the middle of the building’s perimeter, Yuan Zhan’s left pupil abruptly ignited ablaze with a ghastly green ember.
In the next second, a thick vine wall suddenly sprouted up before the incoming Aldaris! The vine wall comprised of twisted roots and intertwined joints, and was extremely strong yet supple. Its surface was coated with an unexplainable moisty slippery sap. The image resembled decomposing kelp that were mashed together, and even emitted a repulsive stench.
Facing the vine wall, Aldaris offered a simple response. He very bluntly hurled out that bewitching nefarious dagger of his – ‘Mage-Nemesis’ !
The gigantic beast fang like dagger shot out noiselessly with a velocity that wasn’t considered fast. Yet as it flew, its flying velocity crescendoed tremendously and even produced piercing booms of thunder rolls!
The vine wall was completely incapable of obstructing the dagger. On the contrary, it actually proactively opened up a hole and allowed the dagger to fly through!
After summoning the vine wall, Yuan Zhan was currently preparing another ability. Yet with the bewitching ‘Mage-Nemesis’ whizzing in nearer, the ground, the four walls, the air and even all traces of water around him started strangely churning and undulating; as though a space was being distorted, and would directly swallow him in within a second.
Presenting with such a situation, Yuan Zhan started paying attention; he couldn’t not pay attention!
He took a deep breath as an accessory at his waist emanated a blinding dark gold radiance. Indeed, he had activated the ‘Graffiti’ ability of the dark gold grade accessory, ‘+6 Chieftain’s Hobby’ !
Following that, a hole materialized from the void behind his back, and spat out an dreadfully malevolent and queer gigantic serpent skull, that was minimally as huge as five persons combined.
The skull serpent skull directly gobbled up the incoming ‘Mage-Nemesis’ in one bite! Then it retracted back into the void!
Yet at this exact moment, Yuan Zhan’s eyes popped widely as he strenuously clutched his left shoulder. One could vividly notice, though that gigantic serpent skull had gobbled up ‘Mage-Nemesis’, the dagger was currently deeply stabbed into Yuan Zhan’s shoulder.
The creamy white bone shaft of the dagger instantly turned blood red, as it dispersed rippling rings of dull black fumes!
!
As it turns out, Aldaris’s first attack was actually an illusion. The real ‘Mage-Nemesis’ had been discretely wandering through a trajectory that was outside of Yuan Zhan’s line of sight. Reminiscent of a venomous snake in the shadows, it ruthlessly sunk its fangs once the enemy revealed an opening!
After all, Aldaris was a dual specialist mage-warrior. His illusory abilities weren’t the least bit inferior to common illusory experts!!!Chapter 705: Reverse

The ‘Mage-Nemesis’ in Aldaris’s hands was practically like gods appearing and devils vanishing; utterly impossible to defend against!
Despite being stabbed by the ‘Mage-Nemesis’ dagger, Yuan Zhan laughed hysterically.
“Aldaris, don’t think that all is well just because your blasted dagger managed to injure me. As a mighty Growth-Hunter summoner master, Zi has channeled countless of party resources to me. The reserves of magic power in my deposit are something you can very well imagine! So what if your ‘Mage-Nemesis’ possesses the ability of endless mana combustion, and cannot be plucked out?
“How long will you have to wait before all my MP is sucked dry? My children will have long shredded you to pieces by then!”
Following Yuan Zhan’s crazed laughter, numerous crimson glows of transportation arrays projected out around Aldaris’s front and back. Closely after, several powerful strange beasts crawled out from those transportation arrays while baring fangs and brandishing claws, and entrapped Aldaris within their formation.
His current position was already in the building’s perimeter. As such, Aldaris was totally surrounded that not even one drop could trickle through! Observing the might of those strange beasts, they were actually tier-4 or tier-5 legendary creature existences!
In this battle, this was the first time Yuan Zhan’s main summoned creatures appeared!
Initially, this was the evil arrangement he planned to use against Zi, but didn’t expect having to employ it on Aldaris instead! With the combination of Yuan Zhan’s Growth-Hunter prowess, the matchmade dark-gold grade ‘+6 Chieftain’s Hobby’, and certain snares he had painstakingly and sneakily set up, he immediately launched a full force counterattack!
Within a flash, this dreadfully lethal setup mercilessly devoured Aldaris in!
The situation, was unexpectedly reversed in an instant!
*
“Never would I expect that in the end, it was Aldaris who rescued Zi.” Sheyan was deeply moved as he uttered while seated in a bumpy off-road military truck.
The trio had long departed from the base station. Since they had gotten Zi’s location, they naturally didn’t tarry further; honoring their cash promises at once, binding those that needed to be bound up. Meanwhile, those that needed to flee the country, fled as well.
Something worthy to note, the trio truly kept their promises. They didn’t silence those engineers, but instead awarded them with loose cash of several tens of thousands of dollars. Of course, the trio didn’t simply dump the cash on them, but instead helped them to bury the cash nearby where they could retrieve when everything was done and dusted.
After a brief discussion, those engineers felt that though they suffered a traumatic experience, they still managed to earn a cash bonus which amounted to a few years of their salary. Hence, they agreed and built a makeshift tracker device for the trio as well.
This tracker device was created with an IPAD, and utilized the civilian network system but of course, encoded with many underlying military authority codings. The satellite network system wasn’t solely used by the military. When the government became aware of the benefits involved in allowing underground syndicates to hunt for dino-crystals, they similarly created a civilian wave band for such network tracking.
When the trio acquired this tracking device, it was equivalent to possessing a civilian wave band of the highest authority privilege, which ensured the priority speed of their signal. Of course, it wasn’t as fast as the military one, while also lacking in many other functions. Nevertheless to Sheyan and gang, this was considered a surprising reward.
“Aldaris was saved by Zi before.” Reef refuted Sheyan.
To pick someone in Party Ace that was most familiar with Aldaris, it would obviously be Reef. Besides, the both of them would frequently swap pointers and wager with each other.
Upon hearing Reef’s words, Sheyan’s heart stirred.
“Oh? Such a thing happened?”
Reef nodded and replied.
“Aldaris is a rather arrogant individual who prefers the thrill of risking alone. As such, he frequently takes comparatively larger risks, but similarly reaps bountiful harvests; thus accelerating his growth. Of course, the dangers he encounters multiplies accordingly.”
“Back then, Aldaris nearly died while attempting to acquire the ‘Mage-Nemesis’ dagger. It was Zi who offered him a lifeline, and even recruited him into the Illume-union.”
In this precise second, Mogensha abruptly opened fire!
DA! DA! DA! A cloud of dust formed instantaneously on the road ahead. From the ground, a gravel gray lizard leapt out. One of its eye had been struck blind as turbid blood oozed out. It roared anguishly in mid air while grimacing with threat.
Yet in response to it, was more intense strafing gunfire! Striking the poor fella riddled with blood wounds as it tumbled to the ground.
“That lizard must’ve been genetically contaminated by those dinosaurs as well, thus leading to such a mutation. Its forte should be camping in disguise along the roads before mounting a sudden sneak attack, using that sharp row of bone spur of its vertebra to impale enemies to death. It should be the reason why almost 56% of vehicles have their tyres punctured. Furthermore, the awful stench of these gravel lizards makes their meat inedible, and rarely produces dinocrystals as well. They are one of the most unwelcomed creature of the wasteland.”
Mogensha narrated the series of description from the tracking device.
“Oh right, we will soon enter the central district of the dinosaur disaster zone. According to the device’s suggestion, its best we smear dinosaur dung on ourselves to prevent attracting unwanted attention. Should we do it?”
Sheyan rolled his eyes in response.
“I don’t mind smearing our ride with dung, but to mear on ourselves….each of us will have to start travelling with a large plastic bag.”
Following the acceleration of the military truck, tiny regiments of flames was suddenly sighted right ahead.
As their truck drove nearer, those tiny regiments flames appeared increasingly larger. Eventually, the contestants could spectate a combusting wreckage of several vehicles that were haphazardly congregated throughout the road.
An enormous pack of Deinonychus were currently vehemently ravaging a squad of hunters.
Amongst those Deinonychus, a boss tier could be noticeably seen. That Deinonychus head was especially larger and a shade of queer maroon coated its body. Moreover, it was roaring and gesturing its head to rally its dinosaur underlings in assault, while it silently observed atop a rock. This Boss Deinonychus unexpectedly appeared to possess some fundamental battle tactic capabilities.
Before the trio’s truck pulled over, thunderous roars abruptly resounded from all four corners of the darkness.
A minimum of ten plus Deinonychus speared out and lunged towards the trio with brandishing claws.
“These guys actually know the tactic of annihilating the enemy’s reinforcements while besieging the stronghold? That’s simply too ridiculous!” Sheyan mused to himself.
In an instant, Mogensha shot down a single Deinonychus and immediately yelled out.
“Boss, these brats are already injured! What kind of evil practices have been done to these wretched green lizards, to possess such admirable intelligence? The heck, employing the wounded as reserved intercepting forces?”
By now, Sheyan was clearly aware of the current predicament that hunting squad was in. Evidently, the wreckage pile of vehicles were ignited by themselves and employed as a sheltering bunker, thus allowing them to focus on dealing with the Deinonychus from a single direction.
Though that was so, they were still in imminent crisis. Perhaps within a minute or two, those savage beast would break through, before cleaving apart their preys with vicious claws and devouring them after.
Witnessing that the pack of sieging Deinonychus about to break through, a herculean looking chap suddenly stepped forward as he hauled along a mechanical cannon like weapon by his feet.
The weapon’s mouth was shaped like a trumpet, and its barrel slenderly binded downwards. From afar, it looked like an orchestra tuba. Yet going closer, it appeared like a heavy machine gun with a modified muzzle.
Then, this brutish chap howled energetically as he pointed the trumpet like muzzle towards the nearby pack of Deinonychus. Instantly, it echoed with an unforgettable sound!
This sound was peculiar and piercing to the ears. Like the screeching sound of fingernails scratching against glass, or chainsaw cutting through a steel pipe!
Even Sheyan’s pupils shrunk, because within a heartbeat, a congested cluster of ten over sprinting Deinonychus were obliterated instantaneously!
PA! PA! PA! PA! PA! Consecutive sounds of windscreen shattering and screws unhinging resounded from some cars caught in the assailing wave released by the weapon.
Such was the massive devastating force of those vibrating shrapnels, that even some individuals caught in the friendly fire were wailing agonizingly.
It was as though time had froze for several seconds for that onrushing pack of Deinonychus. After the successive eruptions of ‘PA PA PA’, they were thoroughly torn apart and transformed into insipid blood mist wafting through the air; the blood mist comprising of grinded flesh, bones, hair and other bodily substances.
The trio could even whiff the rich aroma of reeking blood.
“COME ON! Abominable freaks who ought to be in hell! Curse it, resorting to that move withered away a quarter of our profits! And we’ve yet to count in our ruined vehicles!” The herculean chap laughed wildly but furiously scolded at the same time.
“This ‘Concussion Gun’ is bloody amazing, a pity its power is too destructive. Even the dinocrystals aren’t spared. Ah, what a bloody waste!”
That single attack instantly caused the pack of Deinonychus to feel a humongous threat. Such ghastly casualties caused them to crumble internally as they instinctively fled with utmost speed in all directions!
Yet coincidentally or not, that maroon Boss Deinonychus actually fled towards the direction of the trio.
At present, Sheyan decided to test the two weapons they purchased from the underground market. He first retrieved the ‘Shamier Jolting Gun’ and took aim before pressing the trigger.
A forceful sonic wave directly penetrated through the tough and solid epidermis of the Deinonychus, and resonated through its head.
Instantly, the menacing beast tumbled to the ground. Although the dinosaur immediately scrambled back up, it continued spinning around in confusion where it stood.Chapter 706: Aldaris’s ambition

Following that, Reef similarly took aim and fired off that ‘Peluba Shock Rifle’ at the Deinonychus. This was something that Sheyan suffered to previously.
A large clump of incomparably sticky dull yellow goo jetted out and drenched the unlucky Boss Deinonychus from head to toe.
The Boss Deinonychus instantly howled with fierce misery, as it scampered around in unyielding reluctance. Yet the more it ran, the slower it became. Random sediments of rock fragments, dust and what not all adhered beneath its feed.
As it scrambled up a mound, its feet suddenly slipped and it tumbled clamorously down; resulting in it becoming a meatball coated with rock fragments, rubble sediments and dried twigs. It frenziedly attempted to claw around but to no avail.
Witnessing such a scene, Reef strolled over and laughed heartily while giving the dinosaur a kick.
“You wanna run, still wanna run? Oh, lads? What are you guys up to?”
As it turns out, the squad of hunters were now eyeing the trio with unkind expressions. Their faces revealed sinister smirks as their rifles were aimed towards the trio. When they heard Reef’s words, they exchanged glances and laughed wildly.
“You actually asked us what we are up to?”
“Hey, he’s asking us what we are up to?!? Haha what a fantastic joke.”
“This the first time you kids are hunting eh?”
“…”
“…”
That leader herculean chap exposed a scorpion tattoo at his chest. His brows were hopping up as he mocked.
“Not bad, not bad at all. See what god has delivered to us? Tsk Tsk, look a latest model support weapon, the ‘Shamier Jolting Gun’, and the ‘Peluba Shock Rifle’. Oh hoh, and a live Alpha Deinonychus. Today’s truly our lucky day lads, I was still wrecking my mind over how to explain our meagre the profits to the boss, and behold, a fortune from the sky!”
Another brat with a mohawk haircut casted a sly sneer.
“Big brother Blackscorpion, what should we do now?”
Blackscorpion imposingly waved his arm.
“Tie them up. I reckon there’s more to profit from these three rookies. Squeeze em’ dry and finish em’ off. Of course, anyone wants to have a good time toying around, feel free to do so.”
The squad of hunters were actually discussing in front of the trio while treating them as victims already. One could tell how unbridled they were, having tortured others in extremely cruel ways already. Thus, their leader could so casually mutter the words ‘squeeze em’ dry and finish em’ off’.
As Brother Black listened to them, he sighed.
“A pity kiddos, ah, I truly don’t have much interest in your profits….”
After releasing his statement, Brother Black darted horizontally to the side; concurrently, his golden AK spat out streaks of fiery tongues!
Simultaneously, Sheyan triggered ‘Horn-Rage’ on Blackscorpion. Beside, seeing how devastating his strange weapon could be, it was probably the only item that could pose a threat to Party Ace!
There was no cause for doubt over the outcome of the battle. The prowess the trio exhibited could be said to overwhelmingly suppress the hunting squad! The only question was – how long would they take?
In the end, Blackscorpion’s hunting squad awarded the trip with a harvest of 30 tiny dinocrystals and 5 average sized dinocrystals.
These dinocrystals if brought to the military, could possibly be exchanged for various equipments, medicines, recipes that even contestants could use; definitely unlike the unusable american dollars that earned earlier.
Finally, with a flash of inspiration, Sheyan spared the lives of two fortunate lackeys. The first was that brat with the mohawk called Ralf, and the second, a lame middle aged cripple known as Missinson.
That was due to the increasingly complex terrain. Not only were there rift valleys, the place was populated with quite a number of dilapidated cities. Although they had the aid of a tracking device, this place was after all, nearing the central district of the dinosaur disaster zone. Having a guide would undoubtedly shave off unnecessary troubles and even hasten the pace to their destination.
As for why Sheyan spared two lives instead of one, it was fairly simple. When the crafty Raft was about to receive a punch, he shrewdly decided to use Missinson as a meatshield……prompting Sheyan to retract his fist in time.
Without a doubt, a deep hatred had been sown between the two. Thus, by leaving them both around, they would keep tabs on each other and not resort to any tricks.
At present, the trio had tarried for over ten minutes since being dragged into this commotion. With the addition of two guides, they decided to alter their advancing direction before swiftly departing while following the tracking device.
One had to mention that Sheyan’s foresight was relatively accurate. After hiring the two guides, their efficiency in travelling was raised by a notch.
After merely half an hour, the trio were soon reaching their destination. To venture deeper into this district, would be directly entering the most dangerous region of this dinosaur disaster zone!
Normally, only the military with their air force and tanks would dare to invade the place to hunt. This was because of the high probability of meeting invincible creatures at the apex of the food chain, creatures such as the Tyrannosaurus Rex and so on!
Upon hearing distant booming sounds of support weapons, the group of humans begun to brace themselves mentally; in preparation for unimaginable and abrupt situations to befall them.
At present, Brother Black suddenly recalled something and asked.
“Hey Reef. According to what you said just now, Aldaris is clearly indebted to Zi. Yet when the Illume-union divided, why did Aldaris choose to side with Zeus?”
Upon hearing Brother Black’s question, Reef similarly became rather perplexed. He couldn’t think of an explanation for Aldaris’s conduct as well.
Instead, Sheyan chuckled and replied.
“Heaven forbid, that guy is also a lovestruck fool in this realm….if he sided with Zi, Aldaris would merely be a Growth-Hunter to her, a part of the party’s backbone. At most, Zi would have five heavenly generals under her instead of four. He wouldn’t be able to win Zi’s value in that manner.”
“Instead, if he relied on his own strength to deal with Zeus’s Glory Party and win sovereignty over the party, merging with the Illume-union once again would propel his position in Zi’s heart to second to none! Why would such a formidable individual think like a fifteen year old high school student? Sadly, reality and logic always possess such cruel disparity.”
“It seems that even before Aldaris even had the chance to accomplish his objective, the rich and powerful Glory Party decided to mobilize and push Zi towards the edge of fatal crisis….”
“Moreover, according to the recorded footage we saw. The situation of Aldaris battling against Yuan Zhan isn’t looking too great for him eh.”
At this moment, Reef earnestly refuted.
“Boss, I guessing you’re calculating Aldaris’s battle capabilities based on how he fought before right?”
Sheyan gently answered.
“Yeah. In the Avatar World, that battle where Aldaris defeated Zi. My calculations do stem from there.”
Reef slowly explained.
“But boss, if your earlier deduction is spot on, would Aldaris unleash his full might against a woman he secretly loves?”
Sheyan became stumped and sincerely agreed.
“Nope.”
Reef’s gaze turned deeper as he described.
“Actually to Aldaris, he attaches utmost importance to the ‘Mage-Nemesis’ dagger he holds. I’m not referring to its MP burn property and deadly damage it deals to mage type contestants. On the contrary, the discrete value of that weapon, resides in supplying an endless stream of MP back to Aldaris!”
“When Aldaris offhands his weapon, that is when he is the most terrifying!”
Aldaris was surrounded.
Enemies stood to his front, left, right and back!
Redoubtable enemies!
Attempting to kill a Growth-Hunter summoner, even a Reserve-duty Growth-Hunter would suffice. However, once given adequate time for preparations, a Growth-Hunter summoner would turn the tides overwhelmingly with insurmountably dreadful might!
Without a doubt, when facing Aldaris, Yuan Zhan had already prepared for an extremely, extremely long time. Because he previously thought he would face off with his former party leader; the woman who understood him like the back of her hand.
In Aldaris’s perspective, his rival was Yuan Zhan.
That formidable Yuan Zhan hailed by Zi as her party’s reviving hope!
The frenetic retaliation of Yuan Zhan was to break all cauldrons and sinking all boats*. To Aldaris, such a circumstance was equivalent to facing the combined aggression of four Growth-Hunters.
(TL*Idiom, cutting off all means of retreat)
Nevertheless, Aldaris’s gaze maintained an incredible fortitude, and even burned with slight insanely vigor. He stared at the distant Yuan Zhan with a gaze that could penetrate one’s soul, and warned with austere incisiveness.
“Do you think, this can keep you from dying?”
Aldaris half knelt to the ground and pressed both palms onto the ground. In a flash, numerous white distorting glows flickered out from his palms. They resembled tiny snakes, as the white glows speedily wriggled out in all directions!
Within a second, those white distorting glows congregated onto the first summoning beast that was about to assault him!
A terrifyingly blinding light illuminated out! Seemingly attempting to cover the space between heaven and earth!
The eyes of all present were dazzled in white blindness. Then, a streak of slender and acute distorted lightning unexpectedly jolted out from the void of white, before bolting down!
This lightning bolt struck with such vast ferocity. Although different from the boundless majestic lightning from the sky, this lightning bolt instead offered a dazzling impression of unbeatable sharpness.
If nature’s thunder and lightning was like gigantic hammers dropping from the sky and smashing down throughout horizons, attempting to vaporize all lifeforms and not leave even bones behind…..then, Aldaris’s lightning bolt was an incredibly thin and sharp needle, piercing straight into the heart! Then, erupting and upsurging a tempestuous thunderstorm in the heart!Chapter 707: Individual display of prowess

Aldaris’s lightning bolt streaked out and pierced deep into the summoned beast’s heart and created a frying explosion! This attack completely ignored the beast’s defence.
Crackle! A rich odour of charred flesh and blood pervaded out, as a layer of blood sprinkled against the surrounding walls. It was as though a heavy truck had sped through a muddy street, causing the mud to splash everywhere.
That summoned beast unleashed a sorrowful howl as its mouth widened to the extremity. With the heart as the nucleus, a huge chunk of its body had been vaporized. Such a scene was incomparably tragic!
“The feelers of Azrael coil around your body….”
(TL: Azrael (עזראל) is the angel of death in jewish mythology)
Aldaris’s voice echoed continuously, as though it was a beam shooting through the universe and travelling for millions of years; seemingly carrying the legends of time and the mysteries of space! Upon hearing his voice, one would feel that it wasn’t mere language but truth!
Unconditional truth, like the repetition of sunset and sunrise continuously!
“Positively charged Spirit lightning borne from my will, attach yourself to my enemy’s soul!”
Following Aldaris’s voice and the dissipation of his first lightning, a resplendent white aureole swiftly formed on the ground. Countless electric currents extended in all directions like tiny snakes. With astonishing speed, the currents bolted towards the distant Yuan Zhan in a flash!
Moreover, the electric currents could be seen rapidly converging towards Yuan Zhan!
This was Aldaris’s true ability! ‘Spirit Lightning’!
Concurrently, Aldaris’s muttered incantation resounded with increasing grandness. Once again, an exceedingly blinding radiance exploded out from his body!
“Negatively charged Spirit Lightning borne from my strength, massacre my enemy’s heart!”
Naturally, Yuan Zhan’s summoned beasts weren’t idling either. Within a split second, a strange crocodile like beast savagely chomped down onto Aldaris with its massive jaws, filled with sharp teeth.
Instead, a thin screen suddenly surfaced and protected Aldaris. Indeed, this was inevitably the ability that most mage type contestants would possess – ‘MP-Guard’.
However, Aldaris’s ‘MP-Guard’ was crystal clear and glistened with a tinge of faint bluish radiance.
When that crocodile beast chomped down, layers of ripples floated up from the screen guard; shining with myriads of solid sapphire like intersections. Even the deadly chomping ability of Yuan Zhan’s summoned tier-4 or 5 legendary beast failed to chomp through it!
When Aldaris duelled Zi back in the Avatar World, Reef mentioned that his ‘MP-Guard’ had been raised to level 4. Yet from the looks of it now, how was Aldaris’s ability only capped at level 4? Estimatedly, it would minimally be at level 7, or possibly, even as high as level 10!
Aldaris profoundly pointed forth. Lingering before his fingertip, the electric charges bolted out in a streak of ghastly lightning bolt; warping horizontally through the air like a dragon.
PA! With a crackle, it struck Yuan Zhan!
With a single strike, Yuan Zhan’s expression instantly twisted. He grimaced widely as though wanting to release an agonizing scream, yet failing to squeeze out a single sound.
Moreover behind him, a faint reflection identical to Yuan Zhan could be seen. As for that reflection, the lightning bolt had shockingly blasted open an immense crack through it.
This destructive lightning bolt actually contained two types of damage; damage to the physical body and direct damage to the soul!
Yuan Zhan’s defence was already relatively puny. After being electrocuted by this lightning bolt, his vision instantly darkened as acute pain terrorized his heart.
After a momentary paralysis, Yuan Zhan regained mobility of his body as he rolled backwards without hesitation while gasping heavily!
Yuan Zhan had already devised many retreating routes here. Upon tapping his shoulder gently, the ground beside him suddenly collapsed. Cement crumbled down as a passageway leading to the lower floor emerged.
To Yuan Zhan’s horror, when he descended to the ground level, he discovered a barrage of warping positively charged electric snakes were bolting towards him!
In a heartbeat, they were about to adhere onto his body! As it turns out, once the positive and negative charges of spirit electricity linked up on his body, an incomparably devastating spirit lightning bolt would imminently strike down onto his head.
Instead, Yuan Zhan would rather suffer ten stabs than being zapped by that devastating spirit lightning! The pain of having one’s soul electrocuted and fried wasn’t something so easily bearable.
Thus, Yuan Zhan decisively activated an item. In a flash, a mirage of him divided from his body. Those positively charged electric snakes instantly adhered onto the mirage.
Boom! An immeasurably fatal spirit lightning bolted down and blinded his eyes!
After merely separating two metres away from Yuan Zhan, the spirit lightning bolt punctured Yuan Zhan’s mirage with undefiable sharpness and utter vaporized it. Furthermore, the power contained in the lightning failed to disperse but bolted to a besiding ground floor vehicle.
Boom! The vehicle exploded with raging flames as metallic debris scattered around.
In the midst of churning black fumes, Yuan Zhan scurried out looking exceedingly pathetic. Though he managed to dodge the direct might of the spirit lightning, he was still affected by its aftershock.
To his extreme fright, those devastating positively charged electric snakes lingered on as they slithered towards Yuan Zhan from all four corners of the room.
It was at this moment, Yuan Zhan understood that he had underestimated Aldaris! The Aldaris who sneakily chose not to reveal his talents, yet when he finally exploded forth with full might, he brought along a despairing wave of terror with him.
That ‘Spirit Lightning’ ability was akin to the fetters of death. Not only could it devastate the flesh, it could viciously torment the soul. From the looks of it, presumably the only reason Aldaris hadn’t exposed his true capabilities was this – all who had witnessed it, had already perished!
The dreadful positive charges of electric snakes encircled around Yuan Zhan, in preparation to usher in a terrifying bolt of spirit lightning.
This time, there was nowhere for Yuan Zhan to escape.
A thick white electric brilliance arrived, evoking a tempest of berserking energies that poured down onto Yuan Zhan’s body. Even the ground erupted with clouds of dust!
Don’t mention the formidable Yuan Zhan caught in the electric tempest. Even those few rats scuttling 5-6 metres away were paralyzed on the spot, their flesh, blood, moisture content and bones were completely fried by the ravenous lightning; dispersing as fine dust when the wind blew!
But on the contrary, it was as if nothing happened to Yuan Zhan. Instead, his face revealed a malevolent and venomous glare. In contrast, the few summoned beasts that were frenetically assailing Aldaris, unanimously roared with anguish; as though they just sustained tremendous injuries.
This was one of the newest abilities Yuan Zhan had obtained – ‘Bioforce Aid’. It allowed his summoned beast to replace him and sustain all damages.
Nevertheless, this was a method akin to quenching thirst with poison. Firstly, the damage transferred to the summoned beasts wouldn’t factor in their defences. Thus, how much the enemy’s theoretical damage dealt, was how much the summoned beasts would endure.
Secondly, every time they received damage, the loyalty rate of the summoned beast would plunge by 1-3 points, and similarly reduce the maximum limit of loyalty rate! This indicated that no matter how hard one strived, the original relationship between the summoned beast and the summoner could never be restored.
Nevertheless, Yuan Zhan couldn’t care less at this point. He started to chant a curse out loud. Before him, numerous black clouds fumigated out and morphed into a black formation array that was as glossy as a mirror lens.
Soon after, two deathly white giant skeletal arms emerged, and dragged out a furtive black door that was as tall as two humans combined. That black door resembled a vertically standing unlid coffin!
In the next second, multitudes of blood sucking bats flew out wildly and emitted piercing and bewildering jesting screeches. Like a rolling black cloud, they charged towards Aldaris.
Evidently, the current Yuan Zhan had realized Aldaris’s biggest flaw – though his offensive were unbeatable, they were all single target strikes! As such, summoned creatures of sheer quantities would be his downfall!
These blood sucking bats had been painstakingly gathered by Yuan Zhan. At present when employing them on Aldaris, it implied that Yuan Zhan had unknowingly classified Aldaris amongst the same category of rivals like Zi.
In this instant, Aldaris’s ‘MP-Guard’ had already been rapidly thinned out into nothingness by the summoned beasts.
A pack of insatiable blood suck bats were soaring towards him.
Even the terribly fragile life force of Yuan Zhan was linked with his few summoned beasts!
Without a doubt, Aldaris was facing a life or death crisis.
Meanwhile, at the same time, Zi hadn’t even battered a single eyelid over. On the contrary, she was unleashing fiercer assaults at Sable!
Her silver rapiers thrusted through the air as they faintly carried the furious bellows of gigantic beasts! Under the endless barrage of thrusting rapiers, Sable’s vertebra long saber had completely lost its splendor.
Sable was, after all, a berserker type fighter whose offenses pale in comparison to his defenses. Being forced into such dire straits, he was completely battered and exhausted
All of a sudden, Zi converged both hands. The two breathtaking silver resplendent rapiers seemingly merged into one.
From the sky, a sudden flash came tearing down like lightning, irradiating the whole earth with matchless radiance, and precisely shone upon the merged silver rapier!
That merged silver rapier instantly shot out from Zi’s hands. After rotating a round in the air, it pierced deep into the ground.
Instead, Sable instantly released a blood-curdling scream. One could notice that a tremendous irresistible force had gripped him; a boundless and incorporeal force was noiselessly pushing up his legs, rendering him utterly immobile as he was propelled into the sky.
Right at this instance, Zi’s long robe fluttered as her silver rapier flew back into her grasp. Then, she soared towards the sky carrying thousands of billowing force beneath, before thrusting her silver rapier up and impaling Sable’s underbelly! Ruthlessly pinning him further up towards the sky!Chapter 708: Heart Storm

Even a wild valiant warrior like Sable was completely incapable of resisting Zi’s uppercut thrust. Silver rays incessantly swam around his body; like electric currents paralysing all his movements.
ZI’s phoenix eyes brimmed with dreadful icy austerity, as she finally separated her hands. Such frosty charm was unprecedented, and exuded an unreplaceable and inviolable prestige.
Her hands once again gripped twin silver rapiers that emitted a brilliance that threatened to cauterize one’s retina.
“Don’t, Zi!!!!” In this instance, Sable begged wildly.
“I was forced to! On account of the days I fought for you!”
Although Sable pleaded wretchedly, Zi’s countenance remained immeasurably detached. However, the swerving motion of her twin silver rapiers trembled a little and became slightly slower.
Out of nowhere, a gigantuous dragon head phantom appeared behind Zi. She pointed her left rapier upwards, which formed into the upper jaw of the gigantuous dragon phantom. On the other hand, her right rapier pointed downwards and formed the lower jaw of the dragon phantom!
Following that, a turbulent surge of silver dragon’s breath rushed out from the depths of the gigantuous dragon phantom mouth!
Dragonforce Breath!
Nevertheless, Sable was still a veteran of a hundred battles. After seizing the opportunity of Zi’s slight hesitation, he had forcibly positioned his vertebra long saber to block his front.
The surge of turbulent silver dragon breath blasted against the vertebra long saber. Instantly, the saber shaft heated fierily causing his skin to emit sizzling burns. Still, Sable refused to let go, as he was pressured down for 7-8 metres by the immense force until he smashed into the ground!
As the silver dragon breath blended with blood, an incomparably violent explosion erupted!
A massive muddy lotus bloomed instantaneously, as rocks and debris sprinkled down everywhere; causing a cluttered clamour of rustling sounds!
After a long while, Sable’s figure finally reemerged from the mess.
His body was currently engulfed in thick black aura which stemmed from his black vertebra long saber. However, the price he paid was causing his malevolent and strange vertebra long saber to shrink by a third!
Originally, this saber was lofty and aloof, seemingly capable of sweeping through the heavens. Yet after shrinking, it appeared totally incongruous; seemingly just a work of art.
Evidently, Zi also expended much energy in unleashing that one blow.
Her long hair drifted with the wind. Her cheeks flushed with an abnormal red while her eyes flickered with merciless rancor.
As he twin silver rapiers interweaved, splashes of brilliant rays pulsated throughout the surrounding space.
Then, those rays formed into a ferocious dragon claw as it cleaved down upon Sable with matchless velocity!
Dragonforce Grip!
Presently, one could tell that after Zi had awakened the ‘Dragonforce Bloodline’, her close combat prowess had skyrocketed. Nevertheless, her true killing potential was still inclined mainly towards long range magic.
When that dragonforce claw materialized, Sable immediately felt a tremendous threat. He immediately howled out frantically.
“Yuan Zhan! Help me! If I die, you won’t be better off!”
At present, Yuan Zhan had occupied an overwhelming superiority. Throughout this period, Aldaris had managed to release four bursts of ‘Spirit Lightning’.
Even so, only two bursts had succeeded in striking Yuan Zhan, while the remaining two heavily wounded two of the summoned beasts.
Eventually, that same crocodile like summoned beast too a huge crunch on Aldaris with its magnificent set of sharp teeth. Piank! Aldaris’s high level ‘MP-Guard’ was finally shattered, as sapphire like shards drifted into the air and vanished.
Aldaris braced his arm forward and bluntly endured the beast crocodile’s munch. Though its munch carried unrivalled monstrous strength, the shattered ‘MP-Guard’ had already absorbed most of its force. Though that was so, it managed to tear out a mutilated mess through Aldaris’s arm, as fresh blood gushed out; painting a lamentable ghastliness.
Yuan Zhan’s eyes flickered with venomous intent. By now, the massive flock of blood sucking bats had encompassed almost every inch of Aldaris’s line of sight, completely preventing him from escaping.
Yuan Zhan’s initial scholarly demeanor had utterly disappeared. He clutched a charred wound that was burnt through his chest, and gritted his teeth while exclaiming.
“Go and die!”
It seemed as though he suffered tremendous difficulty to squeeze out those words from the gaps between his teeth! It was brimming with malicious intent!
However, in this very instant, Aldaris lifted his head up slightly and glanced at Yuan Zhan. His sweeping glance was as though a biting cold wind had breezed through, and carried a trace of mockery.
Yuan Zhan wasn’t aware….but unbeknownst when, those tiny electric serpents on the ground had long vanished….
“Spirit Lightning directly attacks the weakest, the most bitter and sensitive aspect of a human…..”
“Yet none is aware, the main ability of spirit lightning doesn’t reside in damage but absorption! With every hit, it completely absorbs the pain my enemies suffer and feedbacks them to me, where I accumulate such anguish and pain that originates from the soul; storing them, conditioning them and condensing them!”
“Finally, unleashing a terrifying heart storm that sweeps through all!!!”
Within a single breath, Yuan Zhan’s cloak fluttered up. In the empty space before him, a faint blue speckle appeared abruptly.
The speckle slowly expanded and intensified in brightness, and finally with a sonorous bang, it exploded into an electric blue network that covered the sky; encompassing over an entire square area of nearly hundred metres!
The electrical network that held life and death, sieved down over the whole area. Yet strangely, it didn’t damage a single spot of the environment. Instead, whenever it touches a lifeform, vapor would steam up in excessive amounts and linger around the peripheries of all lifeforms, before erupting into streaks of unfathomable electric arcs!
Heart Storm!
This was Aldaris’s genuine killer move – ‘Heart Storm’ !! An attack that ravages the heart of the enemy’s spirit, one that negates all defenses! It was quite analogous to Sheyan’s virus abilities, in terms of requiring special resistance capabilities to offset the damage or effect. Of course, its precedence level wasn’t comparable to Sheyan’s virus abilities.
As the blinding vast storm network descended, Yuan Zhan became momentarily lifeless. A searing pain mixed with terrorizing palpitation circulated through his entire body in an instance!!!!
Yuan Zhan’s ‘Bioforce Aid’ ability hadn’t attained a high level. Hence, his vitality was similarly shared with his summoned beast! This indicated whenever he activated the ability link, some of the damage dealt concurrently to the summoned beast would also reflect back to himself!
Of course, a chain repeated damage state wouldn’t happen. For example, if Yuan Zhan got struck by a spirit lightning, which damage was reflected to the summoned beast, that reflected damage wouldn’t reflect again to injure Yuan Zhan.
“Shit….”
Yuan Zhan strived to leave the boundary of this ‘Heart Storm’. Yet though his mind commanded, his body couldn’t listen and only submitted helplessly to the searing pain!!
As for Yuan Zhan’s summoned beasts, they were similarly lifeforms caught up in this horrific ‘Heart Storm’. They trembled and…..within mere 2-3 seconds, several beasts were completely paralysed. Then, their bodies started disintegrating with numerous cracks like china porcelain.
Crash! Crash! Some exploded into innumerable fragments!
Yuan Zhan was miserably electrocuted into near-death state. Naturally, the summoned beasts sustained by his MP, also quickly vanished into thin air.
Only at that moment, did Aldaris clenched his right hand and terminated the raging ‘Heart Storm’. Then, he stood up and sauntered towards Yuan Zhan! Aldaris’s ‘Mage-Nemesis’ dagger flew back into his hand as the enemy was already plunged into near-death state.
“Traitorous scum, meet your demise.” In a flash, Aldaris arrived before Yuan Zhan and straightforwardly placed his ‘Mage-Nemesis’ dagger across the lifeless Yuan Zhan’s throat. With a gentle swipe, a spurt of red blood splattered out from Yuan Zhan’s throat, before his head was decapitated from his body.
Blood spurted up like a fountain from a headless corpse, coupled with pulps of maroonish innards, as they bathed every corner of this building!
Yet soon after, Aldaris discovered that something was amiss. The headless corpse of Yuan Zhan remained unceasingly spurting out blood! The blood was continuously puddling up on the ground, even rising up above the back of his sole. In spite of that, Aldaris failed to receive a single notification of slaying from his nightmare imprint.
All of a sudden, the headless corpse of Yuan Zhan began twitched, and like a zombie, it proceeded to clutch its own neck.
Aldaris took in a deep breath and shut his eyes. Blood continued trickling, bit by bit, from his hand, following the outline of ‘Mage-Nemesis’ before dripping to the ground. The blood permeated into the ground and dissipated unknowingly.
“OLD FAT, is it you? Only you can put up such illusions that can deceive my visuals, thereby successfully rescuing the dying Yuan Zhan. Still, trying to obstruct me with just you?
A wall nearby Aldaris suddenly rippled. Unexpectedly, the red bricks of the wall started strangely shifting and arranging itself, before metamorphosing into an incredibly queer brickman. This brickman exhibited a mystifying clown like chuckle, before speaking callously with a hoarse voice.
“Psychological tactics won’t work on me. Aldaris, you’ve truly hidden such magnificent prowess well. Alas, even a fool like Yuan Zhan can force out your most vital flaw! Your powerful abilities, perhaps 30% of them are executable only with the ‘Mage-Nemesis’. You rely on the ‘Mage-Nemesis’ to provide you an endless supply of MP. But more crucially, your weapon acts as a focal point as well eh? Only by stabbing your foe with the ‘Mage-Nemesis’ can your electric charges swiftly locate their target!”Chapter 709: Metropolis of Death

Facing an opponent who was detailedly analysing him, Aldaris’s pupils contracted slightly as he issued a cold smirk.
“So what?”
“Nothing really.” Old Fat sinisterly inferred.
“Yuan Zhan has divulged that once stabbed by ‘Mage-Nemesis’, if one tries to pull it out of his own accord, 33% of one’s health would be forcibly deducted! With such massive damage, a person stabbed by it normally wouldn’t proactively try to pull the dagger out. However! I will recommend to Marissa that once she is stabbed by your dagger, she should pull it out at once. Because for a ridiculous property of shaving off one’s health substantially just by pulling out a dagger, such a property definitely possesses a long cool down! Otherwise, many powerful storyline characters would’ve be slain by you long ago.”
“Marissa…” an ominous premonition welled up in Aldaris’s heart. “You and Marissa are actually teaming up to deal with me???? Then what about Zi?”
“You still have the time to worry about Zi? Don’t worry! Though Zeus needs to pin down Skull and cannot be present, but this time, Fu Lyanna is personally acting to finish her off!”
***
Meanwhile, this was when Zi had unleashed her ‘Dragonforce Grip’, and was about to viciously grip Sable’s neck.
Yet out of the blue, a tiny black spot formed in front of Zi. That black spot then rapidly expanded into a fist sized black hole.
A dark red blood flew out from the hole, and swiftly stretched into different forms as though a pen was writing with blood ink. Ultimately, it formed into two words.
Danger! Escape!
Eventually, the blood fell to the ground. Instead of dissolving in, it remained congealed like a ruby.
Witnessing this scene, the exceptionally decisive Zi proceeded to ignore Sable, and immediately turned to flee. In a flash, she disappeared from Sable’s line of sight.
Yet a hundred metre away, she was abruptly stalled by an invisible barrier.
“Is it the ‘Chains of Corrosion’? You ultimately couldn’t resist coming?
In this instant, a dense baleful aura emanated from Zi’s countenance coupled with a jade like arrogance.
She bit her lips forcefully.
Without hesitation, she raised her pair of silver rapiers!
Raising them up high.
One could vividly observe. The pair of silver rapiers were ignited! Broiling with fiery silver radiance!
Putting it simply, Zi wasn’t willing to waste her precious energy and strength here, and blatantly chose to combust the horcrux of her twin formidable weapons!
With this method, their might inevitably soared. Of course, the side effects was extremely obvious. A weapon that could ignite its horcrux would inevitably drop a grade from that. Yet most importantly, it held a definite chance of being destroyed!
A dazzling brilliance erupted from Zi’s hands. Then, one could hear few miserable echoes from afar.
In a heartbeat, all of Zi’s surroundings turned pitch black. Nevertheless, the obstructing invisible barrier became visible. It was unexpectedly lines of astronomical metallic chains. The total length of metallic chains interwove together could possibly stretch for millions of miles. The chains were coated with a bright shining luster.
Following that, Zi released a torrent of thrusts; chiselling of inches after inches of metallic fragments and finally opened a way out.
A way to live!
Zi’s body blurred, and soon disappeared into the distant desert.
**
The raging winds were screaming.
Zi gazed into the distant ruins, which were currently hailed as the ‘Metropolis of Death’.
There was still ten kilometres before reaching the Metropolis of Death. In spite of that, intense waves of dreadful aura could already be felt sweeping against her skin; prompting the hairs on her skin to stand on end.
If it was a normal day, Zi absolutely wouldn’t venture in. This was because even with her current prowess, it would still be exceedingly tough to ensure a safe retreat after entering.
Alas, she didn’t have a choice.
The ‘Chains of Corrosion’ appeared once again; signifying that the Metals Professor, Fu Lyanna, was hot on her heels.
There was a massive contrast between this woman’s malicious thoughts and her outward appearance. She harbored a twisted belief – Only by executing all females who were more beautiful and intelligent than her, could she become the most intelligent and beautiful!
Upon thinking of her, Zi spitefully curled her lips. In her eyes, the Metals Professor, Fu Lyanna, was a total loser. Regardless of personal strength or external allurement, Zi held overwhelming superiority over her.
Nevertheless, Fu Lyanna was now completely Zeus’s woman. This meant that she definitely didn’t come alone.
If she were facing Fu Lyanna alone, Zi held utmost confidence of suppressing her completely. Instead, with the addition of an assistant, Zi would inevitably be defeated.
Though nothing abnormal was occurring behind her yet, Zi remained exceedingly clear. Her pursuers were capable of closing the gap with frightening pace!
This was due to her deep understanding of Zeus. Once he acted, he was bound to make an all out effort!
Hence, Zi was fleeing towards the danger district of the dinosaur disaster zone without hesitation!
The Metropolis of Death!
To the haughty her, she’d rather die to the jaws of terrifying beasts, than allow the members of Glory Party to terminate her life!
Two minutes elapsed since Zi passed by this area. Soon, a few bulky or skinny figures came rapidly racing through. After a temporary pause, they rushed off towards the direction Zi had fled in without a shred of hesitation.
Half an hour later.
In a dark abandoned alley with her back leaning against a wall, Zi panted heavily.
Her hair was utterly disheveled.
In this short span of time, she had already encountered danger several times. Furthermore, this was merely the outskirts of the Metropolis of Death.
The most appalling part was, she felt as though an unknown deadly existence had locked onto herself!
The darkness of her surroundings felt richly palpable; as though weird objects were rummaging through the night.
All of a sudden, within the darkness, a tiny dinosaur, approximately the size of a german shepherd, smashed through a window and pounced forth. Its pounce appeared sloppy and ordinary. Instead, it was mysteriously fast; as fast as a streak of lightning!
Caught by surprise, Zi quickly dodged to the side, causing the tiny dinosaur to barely brush past her chest. Though that was so, an awful piercing odour assailed her nostrils.
Although the dinosaur missed its mark, it craftily refused to spin round. Instead, seizing the opportunity where its butt was still pointing at its prey, it whipped out with its bony poison tipped tail.
This mind blowingly random tail whip caught Zi completely off guard. She blocked her chest with both arms while staggering backwards with a muffled groan.
When that tiny dinosaur landed, it immediately swung round! Once again, it pounced towards Zi with a gaze beaming with insatiable hunger.
Zi’s complexion was ghastly pale, as she clutched her injured chest wound with one hand. Then, lifting her other hand up, she firmly aimed her palm at the crafty pouncing beast!
An oppressive pressure was emitted amidst the darkness of night. Like a rushing gale that could stifle one’s breath!
The winds were pushed aside, as a cold, silent and pressing firmness swept out.
Force Collision-Wall!
Although this ‘Force Collision-Wall’ was formless, when it collided into the pouncing dinosaur, it looked as though several tons of giant steel doors had swept through horizontally!
The unfortunate dinosaur was instantly knocked flying.
After a good long while, one could hear a distant landing ‘plop’ on the ground. Not a single panicky cry or bitter howl ensued. It was like a mushy bag; badly battered and smashed upon collision and crash landing. Under the oppressive pressure of the ‘Force Collision-Wall’, all its blood was squeezed out.
After all, this was still the periphery of the danger district of the dinosaur disaster zone. Though such hybrid dinosaurs exhibited terribly potent offensive capabilities, they would undoubtedly be lacking in vitality.
Zi’s single powerful ability was absolutely sufficient to extinguish such puny lifeforms!
Zi squatted while leaning against the wall. While gasping heavily for air, she could felt a calmness; as though a heavy load had been offloaded.
Soon after, a bloody stench wafted in again, causing her face to turned as white as paper!
A piercing blood stench like this…..was indeed the most effective indicator for those tyrannical monsters!
A short ten plus seconds later.
The ground faintly tremored. If one wasn’t carefully paying attention, one definitely wouldn’t feel it.
Yet following in its track, the second round of tremors were incomparably distinct.
The third tremor. Even the sandy soil polluting this ruins were jolted up and rustled to the ground.
Following that, a monstrous colossus could be seen stomping through the darkness with frightening pace!
This sensation was akin to a astronomical camouflaged military plane executing an emergency crash landing, directly landing on its plane bellet as it rushed forth with unstoppable inertia. A sensation brimming with no regard for the law of nature!
Thump! A thunderous stomp reverberated. The colossus stuck its head into a dilapidated house, and munched a tiny dinosaur; killing it instantly before swallowing it.
The sounds of gruesome chewing that caused one to shiver with fear.
Afterwards, the colossus sniffed with its water jar sized nostrils, before slowly swinging its head over.
A fishy odour blasted against one’s face like a whirlwind.
Two triangular crimson eyes glared avariciously towards Zi’s direction, even the droplets of saliva dripping onto the soil could be heard.
Meanwhile, the poison had started flaring up throughout Zi’s body. She felt a numbness overcoming her body. Nevertheless, her heart beated with utmost clarity.
There was no longer a need to run. In truth, running was futile.
In this instance, her heart brimmed with tranquility.
A despairing tranquility.
Paralyzed where she sat, she decided to discard everything and revel in her memories.
In this instance, was reclining against a dirty but soft cushion. Beside her, was a budding lilac and a wooden board by her side resembled a broken chunk of her dressing table. Her previous dinner was a cod fish……
The pestering winds blew against her face. Before the doorway of death, Zi could differentiate a sliver of flowery fragrance amongst the fishy blood stench.
Many familiar faces involuntarily surfaced in her mind, alongside the words she wished to say but didn’t.
She felt that in the end, she ultimately couldn’t defy fate.
“Come.” Zi shut her eyes.
The Zi of this moment, was feeling unprecedented weakness, feeling unprecedented sorrow…..Chapter 710: Crisp tasting texture

Meanwhile, at the same time, a car was speeding into the outskirts of the Metropolis of Death.
This car appeared to be enshrouded with darkness. Barely noticeable headlights could be seen panning out, yet the human gaze couldn’t see through them. It was like one’s line of sight repelled away by force. If an ordinary human gazed at it for too long, a nauseating sensation would erupt.
The car abruptly braked and executed an exceptional drift. Huge military tyres blazed through the sandy patches of this desert outskirt.
After a queer silence of seconds until the sandy dust had settled, a serene electronic voice issued out.
“Its right here. Zi really is decisive. If she had hacked through Fu Lyanna’s ‘Chains of Corrosion’ through normal means, an acute corrosive pollution would’ve plagued her and trace her for ten minutes. I didn’t expect Zi to sacrifice her pair of Silver Storyline grade weapons without hesitation, igniting their horcrux just to avoid ten minutes of tracking!”
Another flooding voice resounded.
“But of course, don’t forget that she is Zi after all! Must we elaborate more on her valiance? Did you see how pathetically beaten down Sable was? If we aren’t careful, our boat may even capsize in a small gorge. Nonetheless, does she really think avoiding the pollution of the ‘Chains of Corrosion’ can prevent us from locating her? How naive!”
That serene voice then added.
“Aldaris’s betrayal has caused Zeus to feel wary. Thus, he even dispatched Aziz over.”
“Aziz? That Aziz? The one hailed as America’s public enemy, that Aziz?” The tone of the flooding voice changed.
“Indeed. Zeus’s logic is this – considering the remarkable heights of Zi’s long range magic abilities, there ought to be one who can help suppress her in that respect.”
The serene voice then continued.
“Actually, Aziz’s goal is also to guard against a second Aldaris appearing. As the individual with the deadliest killing potential in our party, he can easily wipe out all other possible Aldaris! Set off! I don’t wish to be labelled as a suspect for accepting Zi’s salary. Especially for someone that holds an unshakable level of influence to Zeus.”
“You sure we should enter? This is the Metropolis of Death! If Zeus was here, venturing wouldn’t be an issue. But if we were to enter now, I’m afraid…..we’ll encounter tremendous treacheries!”
“Fu Lyanna will soon arrive. Guess what will be in her mind if she sees us idling here?”
“….let’s depart from here first! Screw this, we’ll talk after making preparations! That place is home to those existences you know!”
A blistering fishy breath rushed in.
Like a horrifying nightmare engulfing all life.
It seemed like a grade five earthquake was created, with every stomp this fast and monstrous colossus took.
Under the enticement of food, its pupils enlarged while its breathing and heart rate became hurried and brief……..
“50 metres, 40 metres…..10 metres…”
Though Zi had shut her eyes; though she was tightly biting her lips; though her complexion was ghastly pale…..her delicate frame still shivered involuntarily.
When devoid of all strength, Zi was ultimately shed the shell of a strong capable woman. Besides, she was only a lady in her late twenties!
When facing death, especially the prospect of being chewed like a crispy popcorn by such a fearsome and deadly colossus, it was extremely normal for her mental state of mind to collapse.
Even the most valiant woman, was still a woman.
However, in this instant, she felt as though something massive just swept past her in the sky above.
This thing offered an incredibly peculiar yet recognizable sensation to her.
In the next second, that colossus abruptly released a supremely furious roar. Its tone was seemingly altered, as though something was blocking its mouth.
Like a tiny deviation causing a thousand mile difference, that colossus instantly smashed through the ruins right beside Zi; carrying a frightening fishy odour along!
Boom! The besiding four storey building directly received the rampaging collision of the colossus. The external walls and decorations shook violently, before the wall started fissuring apart as sediments and rocks tumbled down. The swaying continued and finally a majestic collapse resounded, carrying a puff of dust cloud soaring to the sky.
The colossus shook off the rubble on its head for ten seconds, before wrestling to stand back up from the wreckage.
It swiped its short claws ferociously around, as its body trembled with matchless violence. The reason for this, was obviously its scaling fury!
As it turns out, during the process of stampeding in, a clump of incredibly vile sticky goo was catapulted into its face!
This was no ordinary goo. Indeed, it came from the villainous ‘Peluba 1,2 Chlorine Ethane Shock Rifle’.
Evidently, it was absolutely impossible to glue down such monstrous strength. Nevertheless! It wouldn’t channel such brute force against its own head right.
The person who fired similarly harboured a distinct objective – not to capture it, but merely to disrupt its stampeding pattern.
A sudden flicker of hope was ignited within Zi’s heart. Originally awaiting death with shut eyes, she couldn’t tell how this colossus would randomly change its target.
Yet the truth was that, the colossus did missed its mark and spared her.
Zi gritted her teeth as she attempted to support herself up. Sadly, the venom pulsating in her chest wound was still obstinately clinging on and causing her to slump weakly.
Yet at this moment, a figure descended from above; appearing like it leapt down from a relatively high altitude.
Due to the darkness of night, she couldn’t make up the figure’s features clearly. Still, she could fathom the figure was thriving with vigor and strength.
After landing with a thump, the figure executed a front roll before scanning around. Then, the figure marched towards Zi.
Her body tightened up. She’d rather die in the mouth of the giant beast, than suffer endless torture in the hands of the Metals Professor!
Instead, she noticed the figure marching over with a seemingly nonchalant demeanor. The figure then halted before her, before unfolding both hands with utmost sincerity and offered.
“Sup lady Zi, you look like you can use some help.”
“This voice…” For some reason, when Zi heard this familiar voice, her entire body calmed down. She immediately felt a complex mix of pain, numb and annoyance in the pit of her belly. In this instant, it was as though something had clogged up her throat.
Fortunately, she belonged to the class of women adept at restraining their emotions. After a brief pause, she feebly replied.
“You are…? Seaman?”
Sheyan shrugged his shoulders in response.
“Now is clearly not the time for an afternoon gossip tea session, lady Zi. For the sake of not becoming dessert for a certain creature…..please, forgive my upcoming presumptuousness.”
After concluding his statement, Sheyan immediate buried his body and charged forth. Like carrying a sackcloth bag, he directly lifted Zi and sped off with her on his shoulders!
Because, that damned monster behind them had already regained its senses, and was recklessly pursuing them after announcing with a ludicrous raging roar.
According to Sheyan’s estimate, the strength of this colossus was minimally above tier-5. Furthermore, it was enhanced with bonus health points like those Elite Boss legendary creatures of the Avatar World!
If Zi was in perfect condition and there was no pursuing foes behind, Sheyan reckoned they could still make an attempt. As for now….the strategy could only be changed.
But at this moment…Shua! Shua! A searchlight beaming as bright as snow abruptly pervaded through the darkness, and shone resplendently onto the colossus!
A pair of immeasurably thick legs. Developed muscles that threatened to burst out from its epidermis. A towering height of nearly two storeys. A massive head and a crude and long gigantic tail!
It resembled a giant bulldozer wherever it passed. Such was its astonishing loftiness!
Indeed. A shockingly terrifying creature that stood atop the apex of the dinosaur food chain!
The Tyrannosaurs Rex!
The unlucky dinosaur was clearly dazzled by the searchlight. Originally stampeding in again, it suddenly made two rounds, before smashing into a dilapidated house by the side. Large amounts of dust adhered onto its gooey face, causing its vision to be additionally disrupted.
Concurrently, a delighted and slutty scream resounded from the source of the searchlight. A green skinned little lad was currently prancing around!
“Ohhh~ guys take a look what I’ve discovered!
While carrying Zi and laboriously sprinting away, Sheyan instantly felt stumped……and yelled furiously.
“Heck! Jinkuang why are you here? Weren’t you sleeping soundly in the room?”
Jinkuang completely ignored him. His body strangely blurred before directly teleporting by the side of the confused and disorientated Tyrannosaurus, before tightly wrapping his arms round……one of the Tyrannosaurus’ toe.
“Hey, I’ve caught it, but it’s struggling with utmost ferocity! Let us slice its head off, we can eat the rest of the portions raw. Of course, if time permits, we can roast it into a sumptuous delicacy. How crispy the texture would taste, just like chicken drumlets. If we sell them off, it’ll profit us some pennies.”
“You freaking idiot!! Are you sleepwalking??!” Seeing Reef preparing to receive him, Sheyan urgently tossed Zi over to him. Then, he barrelled towards Jinkuang in spitting rage, who was still presently whimpering about cooking the Tyrannosaurus.
Upon hearing his master’s furious bellow, Jinkuang seemed as though he finally awoken from his reverie and shook his head bewilderedly. Then, he immediately loosened his arms around the Tyrannosaurus’ toe, and scratched his head.
“Oh woah what? Shouldn’t I be sleeping atop my spotlessly white and cozy bedsheet? Could it be that the dinosaurs have aroused certain long lost memories? Oh! Revered Tyrannosaurus sir, please refrain from glaring at me with such eyes. You ought to upkeep your graceful demeanor, after all, I only calculated the pound value of your meat quality if sold in Yorkshire. Alright, alright, actually, I was helping you to examine if there’s a paronychia infection…….ahhh!”
(TL: Paronychia is a nail disease, an infection around fingernails and toenails)Chapter 711: Stand tall and fight!

The Tyrannosaurus fiercely spun round, as its bulky long tail bluntly smacked Jinkuang flying away. Struck flying into the darkness, Jinkuang randomly disappeared without uttering a single sound.
Possibly, the dinosaur cookbook didn’t record goblins as an ingredient. Especially a stinky old goblin that didn’t take baths for long periods of time.
Witnessing that scene, Sheyan heaved a long sigh of relief. Jinkuang that slut truly wouldn’t spare him from worrying.
Consecutively, Sheyan came to a halt, because right now, the Tyrannosaurus was shockingly glaring at him with its savage crimson eyes. Following that, the Tyrannosaurus bared its razor sharp teeth, as a large pool of insatiable saliva dripped down from the gaps of its teeth.
Within a second, it buried its tremendous head forward and started stomping towards Sheyan; its stomping thousand catty weight reverberated out sounds of thunder!
“Come.” Beholding a beast resembling a gigantic flesh mountain, Sheyan hung his head down. He didn’t display a sense of despair but instead, issued with an exceedingly composed tone.
His voice rung with an iron will, but was also as passionate as blazing flames; a mix of fiery iron fortitude!
Besides, Sheyan possessed the ‘Life-link’ party skill. Moreover, due to his helmet’s probing ability failing, he earnestly wished to test the formidability of such bosses in this danger district.
Only by obtaining first hand information, could Sheyan formulate the rest of his plans. Besides, his current main opponent was the domineering Glory Party!
The ground erupted with violent tremors. Clamorous sounds of random objects dropping, like utensils, could be vaguely heard from all besiding buildings.
As this supremely enraged Tyrannosaurus stomped in for impact, its massive weight rampantly resulted in mini earthquake aftershocks throughout the surrounding earth.
Under such a situation, the first notion that welled up in Sheyan’s mind was undoubtedly to evade. He felt as though only a heavily fortified military truck could survive a direct impact from this colossus!
In spite of that, he quelled his urges and immediately guarded his front with both arms.
In contrast, the outcome of this collision completely lacked suspense. Sheyan was blown flying like a little pebble. He only felt his vision darkened as his entire body sailed 8 metres through the air. A rush of blood circulated towards his chest, but still, he managed to adjust himself in mid air and even land safely.
“Eh? …..not even 200 points of theoretical damage?” Sheyan endured the rush of blood to his chest, as he realized this fact to his astonishment.
This figure similarly caused Mogensha and Reef to feel great puzzlement.
If calculating in this manner, this core danger district didn’t seem very frightening after all! At most, this Tyrannosaurus could only be compared with the legendary creatures that appeared in the first few beast horde waves of the Avatar world!
Speaking in this perspective, slaughtering a Tyrannosaurus was an extremely probable possibility.
In this instance, many notions flashed through Sheyan’s mind.
Eventually, he still issued a command to retreat to Reef and Mogensha, while concurrently dodging the next ferocious charge of the Tyrannosaurus. Without needing to ask, this colossus crashed into another three storey house.
Only when Sheyan had rapidly sprinted 15 metres towards a surrounding alley, did the clumsy Tyrannosaurus shrugged its head and discovered this – its prey had successfully dodged its assault and was even swiftly escaping.
Aware that it head been thrown off, the Tyrannosaurus roared furiously. Like a giant tank, it rumbled towards Sheyan’s fleeing direction.
Worn out over the years without maintenance, the concrete road couldn’t withstand the stupendous weight of a charging Tyrannosaurus. Each stomp it made left a huge concave pit in its wake, as rocky sediments scattered haphazardly! Such a bearing was extremely intimidating!
Running with all his might, Sheyan soon felt something was amiss. His sprinting speed was already at maximum, yet the Tyrannosaurus behind could still keep up with himself. Moreover, it released an impression of not striving its best.
Placed in such a situation of vigorous exercise and extreme crisis, Sheyan remained usually composed. Nonetheless, he could basically confirm this – if he continued sprinting in a straight line, the Tyrannosaurus would scarcely need ten or so seconds to catch up.
“AK, AK, can you head over to that cluster of buildings ahead first? Right, the place that was previously a nightspot.” Sheyan beckoned for his comrade.
Mogensha immediately and forthrightly answered.
“No problems.”
Sheyan replied.
“I’ve encountered a slight problem. This big brute seems to be hiding its true might. Try stalling for some time with those two weapons that we’ve acquired.”
A brief while later, Sheyan took an abrupt emergency turn, causing the closely pursuing dinosaur behind to chomp on dust.
Although this colossus was rather cautious, it couldn’t stop itself from crashing and slipping due to its stupendous inertia. Instead, its fury heightened as it roared out with deep gloominess.
Seizing this opportunity, Mogensha triggered off. Yet regrettably, he soon transmitted an unfortunate piece of news to Sheyan.
“Boss, the Tyrannosaurus managed to block the goo of the ‘Peluba 1,2 Shock Rifle’ with its front claw. It seems like it has developed a certain wariness against it. Also, the ‘Shamier Jolting Gun’ shot has failed….not that the dinosaur is immune to it, but the weapon itself failed; indicating a lack in energy supply. Ah, looks like the weapons we purchased aren’t that reliable.”
Sheyan could only sigh when encountering such an outcome. He pondered a quickly replied.
“Hey, get Reef to scout out for any ghettos with short slum houses in the vicinity.”
“Short slum houses like the ghettos……boss, you thinking of that document eh?” Mogensha immediately inquired.
Prior to this, the trio recently discovered a corpse in a building. This corpse was probably related to a mission that the Skull Party was undertaking. Inside a safe deposit box, was this relevant document related to the Tyrannosaurus species.
“That document doesn’t seem to be false. Anyway, it’s worth the try, getting chased by this beast isn’t a very pleasant affair. Oh right, unless you must, refrain from attacking it. I suspect this beast possesses some sort of insane berserking ability. Otherwise, this district wouldn’t be hailed as the Metropolis of Death.”
“Got it, boss, wait…Boss, Reef here. Take a left after passing through the supermarket ahead. Continue running for a kilometre and you’ll reach the ghetto. Fortunately, this boy we’re piloting possess night vision capabilities, otherwise, it’ll really be hard to fulfill your request.”
After receiving instructions from Reef, Sheyan immediately sprinted with all his might. He resembled a high speed fish bait, that was ingeniously luring a blood-thirsty shark behind to charge into the unknown.
“Run for another kilometre eh?” Sheyan calmly leapt over a crumbled wall. After crashing through a window and executing a frontward roll, he agilely scurried to the left. From the looks of it, the information detailed in that document was really beneficial. It was well worth the precious time sacrificed in making a stopover previously.
“You’ll reach in at most half a minute!”
Sheyan could seemingly whiff the steamy and fishy stench of the tyrannosaurus behind.
He once again executed an accelerated, abrupt dive to the side. His abrupt movement completely caught the Tyrannosaurus off guard, where it once again collided into a neighboring building.
Without a doubt, this colossus once again employed brute force to demolish the building. With a smashing headbutt, the entire building swayed and collapsed thunderously.
Witnessing this scene, Sheyan knew he had won himself roughly thirty more seconds. His lips curled into a sneaky slight smile…..which froze almost instantaneously.
This was due to a dark shadow that suddenly hopped out from the building ahead. A shadow he absolutely didn’t wish to see now!
It was unexpectedly a Deinonychus! The queer shape of its front claws clearly revealed its identity. Even in the darkness of night, it was as clear as a streetlamp!
Causing him to feel a cold shiver was, across this Deinonychus’ symbolic large claws, a cold metallic glint shimmered through it. Without a doubt, this dinosaur’s killing might far surpassed all other Deinonychus he had encountered previously!
If it was under normal circumstances, Sheyan would be treating this tier of dinosaur disdainfully beneath contempt. Yet right now, a bloody Tyrannosaurus was hot on his heels!
In a situation that every second matters, the appearance of this beast would truly be a fatal blow! Even worst, Sheyan was exceedingly clear that Deinonychus travels in a pack….
“Oi AK, I have a huge problem.” Sheyan calmly announced to the party channel.
Mogensha and Reef were both instantly astounded as they asked. “What happened?”
While sprinting, Sheyan steadily answered.
“A big brat isn’t willing to let me off behind, but tiny cockroaches are blocking the way ahead.”
Mogensha urgently called out.
“Flying over now, we just left our initial vantage point. Shit, give us another ten seconds to reach you! Hold on, Boss!”
Sheyan took a deep breath and no longer replied. He knew his comrades wouldn’t be of much help for this period. Still, his eyes momentarily combusted with passion.
“So, what else can I do?”
A phrase from that document instantly floated up into his heart.
A phrase brimming with brazen boldness for blood.
Stand tall and fight!
Hence, Sheyan didn’t tarry, he didn’t dare to tarry. While speeding along, he fiercely pulled out his weapon from his personal storage.
His fierce and outrageously unyielding long saber – ‘+7 West’ !Chapter 712: Menacing fright

The black shadow shifted. Moments later, the Deinonychus was pouncing through the air. Its incomparably incisive claws swiping ruthlessly for Sheyan.
Sheyan took a deep breath. The military camouflage shirt he was wearing wasn’t well-fitting, ripping out 7-8 slits as his muscles swelled.
Sheyan jumped forth to meet his attacking. With both hands gripping his saber shaft, he hacked down with full strength!
Since there was no way out, he would slaughter a way out!
Blue melancholic glitters sparkled out.
A clean swipe!
Sheyan was supplemented with the momentous force of his charging sprint, causing his incoming saber to carry a faint whistling scream when hacking down; seemingly impressing an oppressive resonance throughout one’s innards.
Though the Deinonychus’ pouncing cleave carried deadly strength and speed, when it clashed head on with ‘+7 West’, sparks scattered as its claws were parried away by an unstoppable and domineering strength.
In this instance, the long saber blade slashed through the Deinonychus’ chest to its belly. A ghastly ripping sound echoed out as the unfortunately dinosaur stumbled backwards. Puchi! Blood gushed out profusely from its chest to belly wound.
Of course, the dinosaur’s parried claws managed to cleave Sheyan as well. Instead, he realized the dinosaur’s claw was like a silvery pointed spear made up of pewter; worthless despite an attractive appearance.
Its claws appeared with acute stainless steel sharpness, yet the might it carried failed to live up to expectations.
After wounding his opponent, Sheyan landed with a frontward roll and continued sprinting away.
Still, the heavily wounded Deinonychus remained exceedingly relentless. After issuing an agonized grunt on the ground, it immediately swung back and lunged towards Sheyan.
Sensing the malicious intent of his fore, Sheyan immediately spun round and released a daunting horizontal slash!
When the Deinonychus’ claws cleaved against Sheyan, Sheyan’s terrifying slash simultaneously struck the Deinonychus!
The strength requirement of ‘+7 West’ was relatively demanding, and normally required wielding with two hands to exhibit its fullest threat. For a heavy weapon like this, it also required countless hard work and practice to tune one’s proficiency in using it. Naturally, a fast swiping heavy saber carried immense inertia, causing the resultant destructiveness to be amplified.
When his saber blade chopped onto the Deinonychus’ head, Sheyan even felt a sensation of pounding a walnut.
Once again, the heavily wounded Deinonychus issued a sorrowful screech, and tumbled to the ground while violently struggling. Blood spilled out from its mouth along with broken bone splinters and pulpy innards. Even a genetically modified Deinonychus couldn’t withstand the heaviness of this saber chop.
Still, the Deinonychus glared at Sheyan with fiery, murderous intent. Obviously, physical pain wasn’t that much of a big deal to it.
The Deinonychus only thirsted for one thing – to viciously chew the flesh of all visible prey, and enjoy the prey’s refreshing blood. To let all lifeforms cower beneath its tyrannical brutality!
As compared to the other Deinonychus the trio encountered earlier, this one’s fighting spirit and menacing exterior was several folds more impressive. If one described the current Deinonychus as a standard militant, the previously one could only be described as a reserve force.
Nevertheless, Sheyan didn’t care about all these. He only desire was for this dinosaur to give way. Once he noticed an unobstructed opponent ahead, he immediately turned and raced off!
After nearly 200 metres of sprinting, he finally spectated the ghetto, filled with short slum houses, that Reef had mentioned earlier. The majority of houses here appeared to be short lasting constructs that would fail the minimum testing grade of buildings. Putting it bluntly, this was a shantytown normally located around the outskirts of cities.
Frankly speaking, Sheyan felt that the Tyrannosaurus wouldn’t face any scruples in such a terrain. For a dinosaur of such a grand physical size, dashing through the streets of houses previously was akin to a human dashing through a dense forest; knocking against trees that could cause starry concussions.
For Sheyan, the difficulty of maneuvering through these tightly packed slum houses, definitely surpassed that of sprinting through the street houses. On the contrary, this place was like running in a patch of knee high grass to the Tyrannosaurus. Regardless of where it turned, such minor collisions wouldn’t disorientate and confuse its mind!
“Darn it, could that document be lying? Should I enter?”
Sheyan hesitated briefly upon encountering such a situation. Instead, he immediately realized something exceedingly mystifying.
The frightening tremors reverberating throughout the ground, signalling the soon arrival of the death god, had oddly vanished!
This indicated one fact – the Tyrannosaurus had patted its buttocks and departed resentfully……
“What the hell?” Finally abscised from this deadly pursuit, a tremendous suspicion floated up in Sheyan’s heart.
“Could it be a virus outbreak? Ah, that isn’t right too. According to earlier testing, the symptoms of my low ranked viruses are negligible to dinosaurs.”
The more Sheyan contemplated, the more he felt the entire situation was fishy.
At present, not only wasn’t feeling the joy of evading a calamity, he was instead feeling immeasurable chill as though his blood ran cold!
There was an extremely simple logic to this. One could imply its temperament and overbearing might just from its name, Tyrannosaurus.
To compel a dinosaur whose might ranked amongst the strongest of single unit overlords, much more a furious one at that, to retreat like an alarmed stray dog, what kind of fearsome existence must one be???
Sheyam recalled the words recorded in that document…..
“Seems like I’ve misinterpreted something. The act of fleeing to the ghettos isn’t to leverage the terrain, ah but rather….this vile environment very possibly houses a monster that even the Tyrannosaurus harbors restraining fear to!”
At this instant, a flustered Reef suddenly called out to the party channel.
“Boss?! Boss??! Can you hear me? Are you fine?”
Sheyan immediately felt a shudder in his heart as he replied.
“I’m fine.”
Reef then exclaimed in a shaky voice.
“I-I….need reinforcement! I can’t hold on for long!”
Sheyan was appalled. He knew the extreme pride Reef held in his heart, especially after he successfully promoted to a Growth-Hunter. Even back in the hidden world, his demeanor was always boldly guarding the front and fearlessly advancing. It was practically easier to kill him than for him to utter the words ‘I can’t hold on for long’.
“Where’re you?! The crisis here has been absolved!’
“West side, that motel in the west, can you see it? The one with a semi collapsed signboard and three storeys.” Reef huffed into the chat.
With a quick scan, he realized that place was coincidentally the route he mentally sketched previously. Just approximately 500 metres from this ghetto, right at the outer perimeter.
Reef’s voice flowed intermittently into the chat.
“I was about to land and assist you…….screw off, taste my shield bitch…..but when I just landed, these blasted freaks started besieging me. You must be careful!”
Sheyan’s heart was immensely sullen. Evidently, those freaks pressurizing Reef into a breathless impasse, were the reasons for the Tyrannosaurus mysteriously departing.
Without a second word, Sheyan started charging towards Reef.
Thirty metres before reaching the motel, indescribably rays abruptly beamed out from the motel area! Those dazzling rays wildly refracted out like arrows, spears and thorns. Resembling a sun that was fissuring, the rays were scorchingly hot and cauterized through buildings in a heartbeat!
“Reef actually resorted to that move??” Sheyan’s heart sank.
Evidently, this spectacular sight revealed that Reef just activated the ability of his dark gold grade shield – ‘Scorching Radiance’ !
Without an absolutely essential state of crisis, Reef definitely wouldn’t unleash this ability.
Sheyan vehemently rushed forth. With his arms wrapped around his head, he rampantly smashed against the perimeter wall of the motel, that were worn out by years of non-repair.
As he rapidly scaled a degenerated flight of stairs to the third floor, he finally sighted a half-kneeling Reef who had fallen into near-death state.
Right now, 6-7 monsters were wildly ravaging him.
Borrowing the incandescent illumination of sporadic combusting embers, Sheyan instantly received a huge shock.
Those monsters that had reduced Reef to such a pathetic state within a short span of time, was shockingly a pack of Deinonychus! In fact, they appeared identical to that ‘stronger edition’ Deinonychus that Sheyan shrugged off previously!
“What’s going on?” Sheyan hastily hurled a flask of curse-mix over, attempting to attract the attention to himself first.
Yet strangely, apart from the assaults from these pack of ‘stronger edition’ Deinonychus being exceptionally fast, they didn’t contain much indomitable strength. Hence, Sheyan ingeniously lured the pack into a neighboring area, allowing Reef to utilize a health restoring medicine.
As Reef recovered from near-death state, he immediately howled out.
“Careful, their attacks are incredibly ridiculous! It’s all true damages!”
Sheyan’s heart shuddered and hastily investigated his battle log. Very quickly, a list of notifications popped out.
[ Mutated Deinonychus dealt 38 points of true damage to you. Your defence is negated….. ]
[ Your innate ability, ‘Stronghold’, conflicts with true damages…calculating… ]
[ Data disorder.…..your innate ability ‘Stronghold’ is effective. You sustain only 1 point of actual damage ]
[ Mutated Deinonychus dealt 43 points of true damage to you. Your defence is negated….. ]
[ Your innate ability, ‘Stronghold’, conflicts with true damages…calculating… ]
[ Data disorder.…..your innate ability ‘Stronghold’ is effective. You sustain only 3 points of actual damage ]Chapter 713: Submerging into night blindness

Sheyan was finally enlightened upon browsing through those notifications. He became aware of this truth.
The truth of why Reef couldn’t withstand these seemingly weak little pests.
The truth of why a tyrannical Tyrannosaurus would flee in panic.
This was clearly due to the perverse nature of these mutated pack of Deinonychus. Their attacks actually dished out true damages!
Moreover, their attack speed was incredibly astounding, and they travelled in a pack.
Utterly fearless, absolutely savage and capable of delivering true damages with exceptional precedence. Naturally, they were acclaimed as a nightmare existence to contestants or other primitive dinosaurs.
Yet to Sheyan who possessed an even more outrageous innate ability, these creatures remained mere high attack speed low damage creatures!
Thus, while this district was a hell to other creatures or humans, but to Sheyan, this was an invaluable paradise.
Speaking of true damages, Sheyan couldn’t help but recall the Metals Professor.
The last time he saw her was when he was merely an ant, squashable at anytime. Despite so, he ingeniously leveraged on the true damages dealt by the ‘Winged Keys’ to kill her, and right now, yet another pack of deadly creatures who possess terrifying true damages surfaced….
“In view of that woman’s queer mentality, the Metals Professor probably wants to murder Zi with her own hands. Most likely, there’s an eighty percent chance of her being in this killing squad….Is it possible to devise a trap by leveraging on this?”
Mulling that over, Sheyan immediately harrumphed and shook his head. He quickly discarded this alluring idea.
After all, his current advantage laid in the Metals Professor, Fu Lyanna, not knowing about his existence in this world.
“Anyway, the current situation is pretty clear. Fu Lyanna and her group definitely wouldn’t be reckless when dealing with Zi….thus, in this manner, with the heightened vigilance of my opponents, the chances of succeeding with schemes will be lowered.”
At present, many queries arose in Sheyan’s heart. For example, since the Metals Professor was revived, how was he able to continue preserving his secret of being an MT?
The only explanation he had so far, was a piece of intelligence he acquired through his military authority.
The intelligence detailed with great clarity – For resurrection abilities or items with the best effects, most of the time they required retrieving the deceased corpse, before using the ability or item on the corpse. In this respect, it preserved everything up till death perfectly.
As for horcrux type objects that deals with resurrecting a contestant that had died for a long while, it required reconstructing a body from scratch. Yet concurrently, some memories may be lost in the process.
In addition to reports he gained, Sheyan was aware that Fu Lyanna’s resurrection rite wasn’t perfect, but merely achieved a 90% completion.
Most vitally, she died as a result of ‘Winged Keys’ chiselling away at her flesh and bones. The agony and trauma she suffered was surely unthinkable.
A normal person definitely wouldn’t want to recall such trauma. As for Fu Lyanna, there may be a possibility of her losing that fragment of agonizing memory right before her death.
At this moment, Sheyan launched forward and slashed up onto a mutated Deinonychus, while completely disregarding the assaults from the other three mutated Deinonychus.
Right before that mutated Deinonychus crashed to the ground, fiery streaks abruptly shuttled in from a neighboring building. Three bullets accurately pierced into that mutated Deinonychus’ head, before erupting with mini explosions; sending it tumbling away and harvesting its life.
Mogensha had arrived in the nick of time.
Consecutively, a diabolical looking viperwolf stealthily appeared. Even before the summoning array beneath it faded, the viperwolf was already pouncing towards the nearest Deinonychus with brandishing fangs. Soon after, it perished with a sorrowful howl, but nonetheless, managed to dish out some damage before perishing.
With Sheyan tanking the front and Mogensha aiding from afar, the few Deinonychus were exterminated in due time. It appears that these beasts whose offensive potency and speed were widely amplified, were nerfed in terms of vitality and defensive capabilities.
Nevertheless, this was only to be expected. Besides, these brats boasted of rapid attack speed and horrifying true damages. Moreover, they were fearless and travelled in packs. If they could also take a beating, then the name of this world should be altered to ‘Deinonychus’ Catastrophe’.
Reef casted a glance at Sheyan before sighing while shaking his head. Evidently, he felt utterly speechless towards the incredible impregnable precedence of Sheyan’s innate ability.
After the trio cleaned up the battlefield, they discovered, to their puzzlement, that the drop rate of these mutated Deinonychus was frighteningly low. They actually didn’t acquire much benefits!
After all, this wasn’t a hidden world, which meant that it should follow the law of high risk high returns.
Even a lofty Growth-Hunter MT like Reef couldn’t withstand the ravaging pack of mutated Deinonychus for long periods. Therefore to the majority of other contestants, the risk of hunting these mutated Deinonychus would be exceedingly daunting. This also meant that if these creatures dropped something, that something would be remarkable!
Naturally, the trio unanimously came to that conclusion. Their eyes emitted an ecstatic glint. Instead, Sheyan quickly shook his head and brought to attention one issue.
“We should hastily depart. Because of Reef’s ability, this motel is akin to an ignited torch; an extremely clear landmark in the dark. There are enemies pursuing Zi, we’ll leave the questions for when we are safe.”
Hence, the trio quickly ascended to a nearby rooftop. Right there, was a floating dark brown lifeform that appeared like a grand jellyfish. Obviously, this was an arachnid Overlord that Sheyan procured from the Avatar World!
The arachnid Overlord egg he purchased was equipped with aerial and transportation capabilities right after incubation. Logically speaking, this Overlord was extremely usable but was unexpectedly prohibited or somewhat restricted in various worlds. Like for this world, once aerial dinosaurs like the Pterosaur notices an arachnid Overlord, they would feel an inevitable threat towards an alien lifeform, thus prompting them to assail the Overlord.
Alas, an arachnid Overlord didn’t possess any retaliating capability! This signified that the arachnid Overlord was actually pretty much useless……
Nevertheless, Sheyan cleverly found a loophole! He previously learned of this information regarding the majority of bird species, that most had night blindness. That’s why many chinese doctors in the real world hail individuals with night blindness as bird eye.
(TL: 雀盲 (literal: bird eye) means night blindness )
Thus, Sheyan decided to try it out, and incubated an arachnid Overlord egg in the dark of night. After allowing the Overlord to circulate for several rounds in the air, though such a motion startled some Pterosaur like creatures, those aerial dinosaurs merely issued annoyed caws and offered no hints of leaving their nests.
Following that, the trio’s affair was greatly simplified. Thus, their flight in a noiseless flying tool was truly immensely difficult to detect.
As for the satellite network system, it focused on metallic aerial constructs artificially constructed by humans. Either that, or surveying the activities of extensive clans of Pterosaurs. It was obviously impossible to pinpoint a lone insignificant arachnid Overlord.
Hence, the trio was able to exploit flying through high altitudes to tail Zi, and eventually managed to rescue her in the nick of time…actually according to Sheyan, sending charcoal in the snowy weather was the most effective way of inducing gratefulness in an individual.
Thus, the four contestants rode the arachnid Overlord and sneakily departed from the motel’s illuminated area.
After flying for four kilometres, Sheyan then willed the arachnid Overlord to descend.
The arachnid Overlord finally halted on the roof of a six storeys building. There was a crumbled opening on this roof, which would allow Sheyan to easily conceal the arachnid Overlord in the fifth storey after daylight dawned.
Noteworthily, this building was located at the opposite end, with the whole stretch of aforementioned ghetto separating the motel and this place. This place should still be within the active proximity of those mutated Deinonychus.
Right now, gazing afar towards the opposite end, they could distinctly see the incandescent flicker of the motel.
Evidently, Sheyan was employing a pretty discernible scheme. If Metals Professor, Fu Lyanna, and her group boasted sufficiently plenty manpower, they would undoubtedly rush to the scene.
When that happens, Sheyan could possibly observe his enemies’ battle strengths and style.
Of course, if they didn’t appear, Sheyan could save the trouble and settle his administrative issues.
RIght now, Zi was completely unconscious. After she recovers, a supreme card would be added to his hand. At least, she would substantially make up for the deficiency in damage output.
At present, the building they were residing in was extremely worn out, and could be hailed as a decrepit house. It was most likely an office building in the past.
After many years of torture, the flight of stairs from the first to third floor was incomparably worn out. Hence, Sheyan blatantly destroyed the flight of stairs, thereby cutting off any possibility of Deinonychus disturbance. For land mobile creatures like them, they definitely couldn’t leap over roofs and vault over walls.
Following that, the trio propped up a large tent in a conference room. This toy was a high grade item that purchased back in the Mattrine district, and was specially supplied for hunting squads.
The tent was effective in intercepting scent and isolating various kinds of light. It could guarantee that camping outdoors wouldn’t incur the wrath of any dinosaur.
Sheyan carried the unconscious Zi out from the belly of the Overlord and into the tent. Next, he hurriedly confirmed that her life wasn’t in danger. Only, the poison polluting her chest would remained unceasingly potent.
After affirming the source of her ailment, then naturally the treatment followed. After all, the trio had stockpiled a relative abundance of medicines. Frankly speaking, some of the medicines were traded to them from Zi previously. Utilizing them on their original owner now, created a rather ironic sensation.Chapter 714: That grain of amber

After treating the wounds on Zi’s body, Brother Black ended the treatment with injecting an antitoxin serum.
With the aid of medicines and her digitally enhanced body, Zi’s condition rapidly stabilized and her health steadily climbed back up. Her hurried breathing soon calmed down, as she was lifted from an unconscious state to a drowsy state….
*
Zi awoke to the fragrance of food.
Having endured arduous battles for so long and falling unconscious for roughly eight hours, Zi had surpassed the stage of hunger long ago.
Smelling the aroma of oatmeal congee and the smoky fragrance of sizzling roast meat, her appetite was naturally aroused from the depths of her heart; dispelling away all lethargy.
Though that was so, at the instance of regaining consciousness, Zi’s first reaction was to reach for her weapon before transiting into an offensive seated stance….
Proceeding from there, she noticed the odd gazes from two males not too far away.
An awkward silence lingered in the atmosphere.
Reef coughed and started with a probing tone.
“Zi, you’re awake. You alright?”
Zi’s befuddled gaze gradually turned increasingly clear. Her eyes then exhibited a sorrowful glint as she nodded silently.
“Mn I am fine. Reef, was it you who rescued me? Where are we now?”
“The Metropolis of Death.” Reef solemnly replied. “Don’t worry, we’re extremely safe for now, come have a bite.”
Zi nodded and filled for herself a bowl of oatmeal congee. She then couldn’t resist the urge to ask.
“How did you guys get here?”
Mogensha chewed a chunk of roast meat and answered.
“It was Demondream who issued a message to boss….activating a ‘Space-time Wormhole’ to transfer us here.”
“Demondream….” Zi involuntarily shut her eyes as her head drooped down before muttering. “I didn’t know, I figured that item was taken by Sable, but the ‘Space-time Wormhole’ actually landed in her hands!”
“Hoh, AK, you seem to have omitted something.” A voice interrupted from outside the tent. Soon after, Sheyan pushed through the tent curtains and strolled in, before offering a chuckle to Zi.
“Demondream entrusted us with her last words to you – her feelings for you have never changed since the beginning…”
Upon hearing that, Reef and Mogensha both simultaneously revealed a wry expression, as they exchanged deep meaningful glances.
Zi blushed slightly before casting an incisive glare at Sheyan. Still, she buried her head and continued drinking the congee.
Sheyan chuckled and continued.
“Well, I have to respect the dying wishes of the dead. Oh right, from my surveillance, a reconnoiter from Glory Party has finished scouting out the motel we were at yesterday. I reckon, the Metals Professor would be leading a huge group over soon. Therefore, Zi, tell us about your main mission, our time is tight.”
Zi lifted her head. Her twin phoenix eyes brimmed with awe-inspiring murderous intent as she stared at Sheyan.
“What’s that supposed to mean? Since Fu Lyanna is here, I cannot allow her to leave alive. This Metropolis of Death shall be her burial site!”
Sheyan glanced at Zi and earnestly chided.
“My apologies, female warrior. We only accepted Demondream’s plea to rescue you. That doesn’t include tangling up with the Glory Party; which is a madman’s move! Regrettably, Demondream’s remuneration isn’t worth the risk.”
“Rescue me? Then if you watch with folded arms and I die while fighting Fu Lynna, your efforts would be for naught right?” Zi casted a cold smirk.
Sheyan shrugged his shoulders and replied.
“Well, go ahead and die then, but us three insist on cherishing our lives. As such, if you persist in acting alone and disregard our arrangements, I swear by Reef’s reputation, we will stand idly by the side.”
The stunned Reef defended himself.
“Why swear on my reputation?”
“Good…good……you’re good!” Zi clenched her teeth in response. Still, her demeanor didn’t release an impression of sinister evil. Instead, she frowned with a natural charm despite the pangs of her heart. She then stood up with a stamp, and exited the tent.
Brother Black and Reef were momentarily stumped.
“Boss…..”
Instead, Sheyan confidently replied.
“Relax, she will be back. Putting up a valiant struggle as a lone army and not giving up yesterday, I’d assume, all the more she wouldn’t throw away her life in vain now.”
After speaking, Sheyan scooped himself another bowl of oatmeal congee. Then, he created a sandwich by wrapping a roast meat with salad leaves, before taking a fierce munch and following it up with a spoon of oatmeal congee. The rich sweetness of oats and the smoky fragrance permeated his tastebuds, followed by warm congee flowing down his throat; prompting him to release an indulgent sigh.
Merely three minutes later, the tent curtains were pushed open again. An austere looking Zi barged in and prepared another bowl of congee for herself by the fire stove. After slowly finishing the bowl of congee, she abruptly broke the silence.
“If I haven’t remembered wrongly, you were the main reason the Metals Professor, Fu Lyanna, died right?”
Sheyan nodded. His tone was muffled as he attempted to chew a self-made hamburger.
“Yeah, oh, you ought to add a Mister Fanu on the list of victims. I wonder if he was revived as well?”
“No, otherwise, Yuan Zhan wouldn’t betray me so easily. If Fanu was still present, it would be impossible for Yuan Zhan to become a core member.”
“I’m sorry but my Illume-union has channeled much of its resources to Yuan Zhan. I don’t have much utility points left, and I can’t produce any equipments to allure you.”
“But, my Illume-union is a level 8 high prestige party. My party’s passive skill is relatively outstanding – increasing explosive strike rate by 3% and an instant restore of 20% HP upon entering near-death state. Moreover, the active skill is absorbing 15% MP from a target instantaneously! As long as you agree to assist me, I am willing to have over the party leadership to you! With this party, you can swiftly expand your strength and deal with Glory Party’s impending campaign!”
Sheyan continued chewing on his hamburger and casted an innocent stare at Zi for three seconds. Then, he bluntly replied.
“Oh! I guess there’s a difference in our thinking….Zi, up till now, I’ve always been rather contented with this party. I have no plans to abandon it.”
“You…..” Zi was truly infuriated as she casted a murderous glare across!
“Stop being so demanding!! Reef! Is this your idea?! State whatever conditions you have, stop using this fella to spew crap around me!”
Reef exhibited an exceptionally innocent gaze towards Zi and sighed.
“Zi…..my apologies. Ever since my party was annihilated, Seaman has always been my boss.”
Even the usually cool Zi couldn’t help but lose her chill.
“What did you say?”
Mogensha lighted a cigar for himself and took a fierce puff before speaking.
“Excellent Zi, I feel my boss isn’t hinting at anything. Hmm, the Illume-union is indeed a party of high prestige and level, a formidable party to say the least. But speaking from my heart, it can’t be compared in the same league as our party.”
Zi was utterly dumbfounded as she muttered to herself.
“How’s that possible? How can that be? Even Zeus’s Glory Party pales in comparison to my Illume-union in prestige!”
Reef sighed and replied.
“Sometimes, high levels doesn’t mean everything. Just like how it is impossible to compare most rank 1 abilities with a rank 8 ability.”
Upon hearing Reef’s words, Zi murmured with disbelief.
“Could it be you guys…..”
“Silver Prestige party.” Brother Black no longer beat around the bush. He directly displayed the party’s properties.
Zi was momentarily speechless after browsing through, before finally heaving a deep sigh and inquired.
“Then why are you guys just a three man team? I know your team possesses an MT, a support, and with such valiant party attributes, expanding shouldn’t be too tough ain’t it?”
Sheyan laughed and replied.
“Firstly, a tall tree attracts the most wind. Secondly, I don’t wish to see unstable elements appearing in my party. Thirdly, and the most important point, with my current prowess, if I recklessly expand, I cannot guarantee my leadership position wouldn’t be challenged.”
Zi shook her head, and quickly voiced out her reasons for rapidly expanding a party. It was totally inharmonious with Sheyan’s ideologies.
An awkward atmosphere soon ensued.
After pondering a little, Sheyan then earnestly spoke.
“Although there are many differences between us, there’s a phrase that suits this situation – to seek common ground while holding back the differences. Regardless, we need to cooperate now, you cannot deny this right, Zi? So, you need to tell us about your main mission.”
Zi took a deep breath. After a brief pause, she began.
“Prior to this, we had already affected the storyline of this world severely. Thus, upon entering this world, we received a relatively arduous main mission. A mission that splits into two phases. The first phase required us to extract five different dinosaur genes. After accomplishing this phase of mission, we can return to the nightmare realm, but there will be neither rewards nor punishments. As for the second phase of the main mission, it posed an extremely difficult task – I need to find a grain of amber.”
“A grain of amber?” Brother Black curiously asked. “What does dinosaurs have to do with amber?”
Sheyan’s brows furrowed as he asked.
“Perhaps, it’s that grain of amber?”
Zi coldly casted a glance at Sheyan.
“Correct, that grain of amber, the grain of amber that gave birth to everything! The grain of amber with that mosquito! That mosquito whose belly contained the first hand information of the genetic code of dinosaurs, that was extracted by scientists! Without that grain of amber, everything you see now would be just a mirage! Impossible!”Chapter 715: The one caught in the middle…….

Presented with her main mission, Sheyan massaged his temples while contemplating. Then, he lifted his head and inquired.
“So, there should be some hints for your mission eh?”
Zi sat down in a meditative position on a cushion. She shut her eyes, and created her rhombus mana crystals that revolved around her. Concurrently, she unenthusiastically explained.
“Currently, my mission has advanced to the middle stages. I need to track down the inheritor of the Chedeliarchos Financial Group, Chedeliarchos Skoa. He knows about the amber, and according to certain intelligence, the grain of amber has fallen into the hands of that tremendous multinational financial group.”
“The defenses of this financial groups is extremely frightening, and vastly surpasses our imaginations. If by the conventional way, only a party of Awakeners is capable of contending against them.”
When Sheyan heard the two key words, ‘financial group’ and ‘inheritor’, a peculiar feeling welled up in his heart.
“Do do you know the outward appearance of this Chedeliarchos Skoa? Perhaps certain rough features?”
Zi shot an astonished look at him and answered.
“Of course, the boy’s only nineteen, blonde hair….”
Sheyan then interrupted without a shred of cordiality. He very rudely continued her statement.
“…he is approximately 175 centimetres tall, likes to wear Davide Cenci shirts, wears a Patek Philippe watch, has diamond studs as earrings, and adorns an incredibly rare ruby ring.”
Amazed, Zi asked.
“How did you know that? Could it be you’ve seen that man?”
Sheyan shrugged his shoulders. Instead, Mogensha sighed and answered.
“Roughly 16 hours ago, we came across his corpse…before you divulged about the significance of this unlucky child, we had always been naively thinking; the greatest benefit gained from him is a document about Tyrannosaurus.”
“Now there’s massive trouble.” Sheyan sighed. “Zi, what’s the punishment for main mission failure?”
Zi vacantly replied.
“A penalty of 50,000 utility points and the decrease of all attributes by 20%.”
Sheyan then issued a distinct sigh of relief.
“That’s fine, at least it isn’t being expunged.”
Zi curiously inquired.
“What do you mean?”
Sheyan replied.
“According to my understanding, there’s another strange party that has entered this world; killing their members would earn us achievement points. That party known as the Skull Party, is similarly pursuing……clues about this Mister Chedeliarchos Skoa. Man, his name is truly hard to pronounce. So therefore, Zi, your mission is a competition!”
“This mission will most probably result in a bumper harvest, especially in terms of achievement points, however…..I reckon you best mentally prepare yourself to face the penalty of 50,000 utility points and the decrease of 20% of all attributes!”
Zi’s gaze darkened, feeling as though she was experiencing the worst headache of her life.
“Seaman?!!! Is this how you are going to treat Demondream’s entrustment?!”
Sheyan spoke without a hint of guilt.
“Zi, you need to consider in my perspective. We’ve already incurred the wrath of a ruthless tiger like the Glory Party. Yet upon just entering this world, we very unfortunately killed off members of the Skull Party. Furthermore, I reckon two of them even possessed pretty substantial status in their party. This goes to say….there’s a possibility of being caught in a pincer attack from both sides! Being a third party is already such a nerve wracking affair, and even worst, is to be the one caught in the middle….”
Zi widened her mouth in rejection, but ultimately kept silent. The usually emphatic Zi when facing the trio, felt like she was caught in a quagmire; a sullen sensation of having both limbs tied up.
All of a sudden, a sonorous sound erupted from the far distance!
The senses of the four contestants simultaneously jolted! They quickly rushed out of the tent. Zi was still rather confused, but the trio were exceedingly clear. The source of that sonorous sound, was shockingly that motel they were in the previous night!
Actually, this was the monitoring ploy that Sheyan had arranged even before leaving. To prevent the naked eye from attracting the notifications of certain exceptionally high perceptive sense individuals, Sheyan had installed five surveillance cameras nearby the area, thus channeling a delayed video playback at their area.
This was a method Sheyan had investigated with his military authority. It was definitely the optimal concealment method to spectate distant battles. With this method, the chances of being discovered would be lowered by 25%.
A screen was displayed. Several individuals were presently locked in intense combat with a pack of mutated Deinonychus.
Honestly speaking, when viewing those incomparably savage mutated Deinonychus, Reef couldn’t help but stroke his body. The feeling of those ravenous razor claws scraping away crazily at his body, ripping out flesh and blood, was truly a mentally crumbling process.
As Zi observed the battle and those odd looking Deinonychus, she couldn’t help but intriguingly ask.
“Are those Shadowdrill Deinonychus?”
The trio unanimously casted puzzled expressions to her. After pondering slightly, she replied.
“The dawn of the dinosaur catastrophe was extremely abrupt and violent. At the initial stages, it spread with astounding pace, leading to destruction and leakage at three nuclear power plants. During this process, some of the dinosaurs perished while others survived.”
“Mutations plagued the ones that survived, causing them to transform with greater ferocity and brutality. The Shadowdrill Deinonychus is one of those mutated dinosaurs. When they attack, their claws resemble black drills; thrusting with terrifying true damages….most critically, they present a tiny drop rate of damage type weapons, forging materials, precious gems and so on. I don’t have to elaborate much on the value of those objects right. Even a dark blue grade of those rare drops, may not be inferior to dark gold grade!”
Sheyan paused for a short while. His eyes sparkled as he spoke.
“Thus, you’re implying that those contestants definitely aren’t willing to abandon this place?”
“Yes.” Zi icily answered. “But I know you won’t seize this opportunity to act. Because with the existence of those Shadowdrill Deinonychus and those individuals, your current prowess definitely isn’t sufficient.”
Sheyan chose to remain silent, but focused his attention onto a single individual on screen.
This was a robust and muscular male, whose muscles appeared to be bursting out of his armour.
That male wielded a warhammer as his weapon and was coated in full maroon. Still, it radiated with metallic texture and appeared extremely domineering. Dense patterns were carved along the surface of the warhammer, as though it was a mystery originating from primitive chaos eras. The hammer head and body of this warhammer was completely forged in metal, and one could simply imagine its weight to be approaching half a ton.
Evidently, it one wasn’t a Growth-Hunter, it would be exceedingly hard to utilize this weapon.
“What is that weapon he’s using?” Sheyan abruptly blurted out. “Why is it maroon colored?”
Zi casted a glance at Sheyan and indifferently answered.
“That’s a Blood Weapon.”
Sheyan then noticed Zi smirking, before courteously inquiring.
“Then, what’s a Blood Weapon?”
In this instance, Zi felt as though she had fallen onto a spiderweb; a sensation incapable of absolving.
She clearly loathed this Seaman guy, and didn’t wish to converse with him. Yet this brat was like a sticky candy attaching himself to her. She didn’t even have the mood to flare up but only replied in annoyance.
“A Blood Weapon is a weapon that can be exchanged only when a contestant reaches a certain military rank. Also, spending a massive load of utility points and potential points is also needed. Of course, and mainly achievement points. When dealing with storyline characters, this weapon can only be counted as a silver storyline grade, but a dark-gold grade when dealing with contestants! Because, many of the properties imbued in a Blood Weapon, is targeted towards contestants; being only effective in a PVP scenario with contestants.”
“So that fellow must definitely be favoured by Zeus eh? He is definitely an expert in dealing with contestants, prompting Zeus to assist him in acquiring a Blood Weapon.” Sheyan mused to himself.
By now, Zi had subconsciously classified Sheyan as helpless and directly continued.
“His name is Tolui Helenite, a confidante of Zeus.”
Sheyan seriously observed Tolui in action.
A Shadowdrill Deinonychus pounced towards Tolui, cleaving open a blood dripping wound across his arm. Instead, Tolui immediately swung his warhammer horizontally.
PA! He directly smashed the Shadowdrill Deinonychus flying with blood spurting, as it knocked and bounced off a wall behind.
As for Tolui Helenite, he didn’t raise his warhammer up. Instead, after his warhammer swept through, his utilized its position to thrust forward with the sharp rear spike of the warhammer!
This thrust landed straight onto the Shadowdrill Deinonychus’ head. After being smashed by the warhammer, this mutated Deinonychus was already like a caved in pulp. With the addition of a powerful and venomous warhammer rear spike, it screeched in anguish before internal organs came spilling out.
Concurrently, Tolui Helenite had started spinning!
He continued holding onto that semi-ton steel alloy warhammer! He spun with an agile and graceful demeanor, while simultaneously carrying a strong pressurizing oppression. The winds churned out by the swerving warhammer released a suffocating sensation to all!
As the whirling winds raged on, chill, silent and oppressive deadly firmness emerged!!!
Soon, the unlucky Shadowdrill Deinonychus was hammered flying.
After a good long while, a landing ‘thump’ echoed in from afar without a single groan or agonizing roar. Only, a mushy bag could be seen. While it was previously struck flying, it collided into two other comrades.
After unceasingly unleashing such violent hammering assaults, Tolui Helenite had swiftly obliterated the poor dinosaur!Chapter 716: Forewarned is forearmed

“Ah, what……a gallant dude!” Sheyan muttered to himself after spectating Tuloi Helenite.
After clashing with the Shadowdrill Deinonychus yesterday, he was extremely clear on the HP of those dinosaurs. Although those dinosaurs were lacking in vitality and defence, they were still creatures that lived in such vile environments. Regardless, they definitely weren’t as weak as nothing!
However, this Tolui Helenite actually needed only three moves to slay a single healthy Shadowdrill Deinonychus!
This signified that of those three moves, one of them was an incredibly special and formidable ability. With how deadly it was when executing a Shadowdrill Deinonychus, what sort of horrors would a Blood Weapon, specifically made for battling contestants, deliver to a contestant? Possibly, a low health points individual like Brother Black would tragically meet his demise, within mere seconds of getting close to that Blood Weapon.
The more Zi beheld Sheyan’s countenance, the more she felt unpleasantness in her eyes. The always cold and conceited her couldn’t resist the urge to taunt.
“Why? Finally afraid? That guy even possesses an outrageously powerful surprise attack ability, which grants him a 700% boost when pouncing at a target! When a battle breaks out, you may think he is approaching from afar, yet within a second, he can activate that ability and pounce straight into your face for a surprise assault…Oi!! I’m haven’t finished my statement”
As it turns out, while Zi was still speaking, Sheyan blatantly walked off and started a secret heated discussion with Reef.
At present, Zi felt as though she hadn’t been so gloomy and frustrated before. She couldn’t help but feel a baffling jittery towards this Seaman. Whenever she tried to ignore him, he would always pass off a statement that she felt obliged to answer. Whenever she wanted an answer, this brat would seemingly be entranced in his own thoughts….
Meanwhile, Mogensha was spectating the chaotic battle with an excited and bloodthirsty gaze. He then licked his thick lips and uttered.
“Boss, how ’bout we exploit this? With how painful those pesky large clawed lizards are, those five brats are definitely going all out; attempting to conclude the fight as fast as possible, because once it drags on, casualties may start appearing. We can give em’ a marvellous surprise when they are about to conclude the battle.”
Sheyan chortled in response.
“The Metals Professor is thinking likewise.”
Upon hearing the name, Metals Professor, Zi’s hand trembled and spilled some of the water she was drinking. Sheyan pretended not to see that and continued.
“Actually, the sneaky arrangements we’ve left behind can be counted as pretty sloppy. I believe they’ll be able to notice traces of our schemes…afterwards, when the sudden ambush of those incredibly deadly Shadowdrill Deinonychus occurs, they would think of it as the climax of a trap. A trap that unfolds when Zi emerges unexpectedly to annihilate them alongside dinosaur ‘allies’.”
“Therefore, haven’t you guys discovered? Those contestants fending off the pack of Shadowdrill Deinonychus, seem extremely relaxed….because they possess the reassurance of hidden comrades. Moreover, the evidence of this is the absence of the Metals Professor who should’ve been here.”
“Hence, our impulsiveness would be met with well prepared enemies, who have been waiting for a long time, instead of weary and exhausted opponents. Those enemies are led by the Metals Professor. Us three appearing will merely cause a momentary astonishment, followed by an arduous blood bath, and possibly party annihilation….”
Reef refuted.
“That doesn’t sound right. If those members of Glory Party are trying to beat a trap with a trap, the Metals Professor, as their leader, should be the amongst the crowd battling against those Shadowdrill Deinonychus. If she is really hiding, won’t that clearly reveal she’s spectating from the shadows?”
Sheyan’s lips curled up as he replied.
“Therefore, this implies one thing – After resurrecting, the Metals Professor now cherishes her life dearly. Oh, in consideration for lady Zi’s feelings, we shall say that the Metals Professor is scared of death.”
“Let us speak from the Metals Professor’s perspective. Now I’ve forced Zi into a dead end, why would I set up such a flawed snare for her? Undoubtedly, there’s two possibilities. One is that I truly have no other alternatives. The other less likely option is….”
Speaking till here, Sheyan purposely paused.
“I fear the frenzied backlash of a dying dog before it dies! Wanting to take me down in mutual destruction!” Brother Black couldn’t resist spoiling the suspense, as he added an oomph of murderous sternness.
He then panicked and swung round, and noticed Zi casting a dreadfully lethal glare towards him. The rhombus mana crystals revolving around here accelerated instantaneously……
“Ooops, I didn’t mean that you are a dog, ah shit, I swear I wasn’t implying that!”
Mogensha hurriedly sealed his mouth. Besides, regardless of fame or prowess, Zi completely eclipsed him…..yet, it was a wonder why Sheyan, an unawakened contestant, could continuously bicker with Zi; such was probably fate.
Sheyan continued speaking nonchalantly.
“Therefore, the Metals Professor, Fu Lyanna, is exceedingly afraid. She fears such a minute probability outcome happening; the prospect of Zi dragging her along into the grave…thus, she’d rather her plan be flawed than take the risk. Of course, we cannot exclude the fact that this flaw is intentional, and she wishes to slowly toy around with Zi; like a cat catching a rat.”
When Sheyan issued his last sentence, Zi’s expression turned as unsightly as the bottom of a burnt boiler. Nevertheless, common sense told her that Sheyan’s words weren’t without logic, and she couldn’t retort him at all.
Fortunately, Reef decided to change the topic.
“Then what should we do now?”
Sheyan calmly suggested.
“We wait. Oh right, Zi, does your main mission have a completion deadline? This relates to whether you can vent some frustrations you know.”
Frankly speaking, Zi was dying to ignore this brute. Yet Sheyan’s last sentence coincidentally ignited her current emotions. Thus, she took a deep breath and hatefully answered.
“Yes, a deadline of one week.”
“Oh woah, that is the best news I’ve heard from you since we first met till now.” Sheyan immediately paid careful attention.
“You…” No matter how she heard it, Zi felt that this Seaman brat carried a particular mockery in his words. Still, she wasn’t in a position to vent her anger, and could only warn herself to calm down….
The trio continued spectating as the members of Glory Party created a carnal bloodbath, slaughtering ten plus of those Shadowdrill Deinonychus. Concurrently, they were also vividly injured and were thoroughly exhausted.
Mogensha and Reef both glanced at Sheyan. Instead, Sheyan merely uttered a single word.
“Wait.”
Those Shadowdrill Deinonychus remained undaunted. When they invested into combat, they went all out without cowering. Nonetheless, these dinosaurs possessed some intelligence.
For example, when Sheyan slew a tiny pack of Shadowless Deinonychus a while back without looking terribly haggard, the other Shadowless Deinonychus didn’t continue throwing themselves to him to be slaughtered.
While the trio and Zi waited, the members of Glory Party were also waiting.
In their minds, once this fight nears the end and in their most weary state, the Zi who baited them here would show herself.
Alas, their surroundings remained a plain of deathly silence. There wasn’t a single hint of abnormal movements.
Both parties were in a deadlock. The only difference, was the monitoring facility the trio were equipped with to survey their actions. On the contrary, the opposing party was purely waiting…..
After tarrying for an hour, another of Sheyan’s deliberately deployed hint took effect, as the Glory Party members finally lost their patience and left successively; rushing off to another direction.
The scorching sun ascended up high, casting its fiery rays down onto the earth. The temperature rapidly climbed, as creatures of the Metropolis of Death begun their daily hunting livelihood; either to seek for food, or to become another’s food. Such was their destiny.
Sheyan released a huge yawn as he lied down on a camp bed. After gulping down several mouthfuls of Nonfu Spring mineral water, he sheepishly mumbled.
“I’m taking a rest first, don’t disturb me.”
Reef and Mogensha exchanged puzzled glances. Instead, Zi’s vision darkened with annoyance and implored.
“So what you meant by venting frustrations, is taking an afternoon nap in this ghost town?”
Sheyan shrugged his shoulders and replied.
“Ah, that is why I asked you about your mission deadline. Since there’s one week, then snoozing for a day wouldn’t hurt…..”
Zi was totally speechless. She stood them dumbfounded before turning her attention to Mogensha, and demanded one word at a time.
“Let me ride your arachnid Overlord now! You guys aren’t willing to fight, but I am!”
Brother Black reluctantly replied.
“Most excellent Zi….that arachnid Overlord belongs to boss, I have no rights. Besides, riding an arachnid Overlord in broad daylight….we’ll be shredded to pieces by those Pterosaurs without even reaching a kilometre.”
Zi shivered uncontrollably from anger, as she bluntly stomped off to a corner of the tent, and frustratedly glared at the tent wall.
At this moment, she made a resolution. If she ever got the opportunity, she would immediately leave these group of brats. Otherwise, if she didn’t die by the hands of Glory Party, she would be angered to death by these brats first.
*
Time swiftly trickled away. In the blink of an eye, the sun was sinking in the west.
After some rest, Sheyan felt mentally invigorated. He executed a carefree stretch and called out to Reef and Brother Black.
“It’s about time. I feel there’ll be people arriving soon. Not many though, but definitely one deeply trusted by Zeus and the other, Yuan Zhan.”Chapter 717: Initial convincing

Presented with such a carefree deduction by Sheyan, both Reef and Mogensha displayed utmost confidence in Sheyan although they were equally bewildered. Thus, they immediately started preparing.
Especially Mogensha, who was inevitably required to suppress Yuan Zhan with his long range capabilities. Thinking of such a daunting task, he took several deep inhalations. Besides, everyone knew that letting a Growth-Hunter Summoner have free reign in a battle, was undoubtedly equivalent to asking your whole party to suicide.
Upon hearing Sheyan’s words, Zi immediately looked over with her monochrome pupils and offered a grin of dissatisfaction.
“What a presumptuous guess!”
Sheyan ignored her and chuckled to himself. Then, he headed out for an attentive survey.
In the end, approximately an hour later, Sheyan suddenly returned with a solemn countenance and ordered.
“They’re here! Prepare for action!”
Mogensha and Reef hastily crept out to look. As expected, just like what Sheyan guessed, two men were shockingly travelling along the same stretch where the rampaging Tyrannosaurus stampeded through the previous day.
Yuan Zhan and the one carrying a Blood Warhammer, Tolui Helenite.
Since Reef and Mogensha were pretty accustomed to Sheyan’s unforeseeable conjectures, they weren’t that mystified but started preparing their battle essentials.
In contrast, Zi revealed a disbelieving expression. However, after frowning for a long while, her knitted brows slowly smoothened.
“I get it. You calculated that certain members of Glory Party would separate themselves to gain personal benefits! Of the members Glory Party, every single one of them harbours selfish motives. Only Zeus and Fu Lyanna are wholly bent on pursuing and eradicating me.”
“Since they are now aware of the presence of Shadowdrill Deinonychus, they would definitely covet the rare and precious drop loots of ‘true damage dealing’ weapons or items. Fu Lyanna can temporarily quell such allurement and urge them to focus on pursuing me, but not all can be persuaded so easily!”
“Nevertheless, to deviate from the party’s objective is still an offense. Therefore, only one with adequate status in the party, on good terms or important to Zeus, can defy Fu Lyanna’s dissatisfaction. As for your guess on Yuan Zhan, the logic is fairly simple.”
“For the present Glory Party, there isn’t a single decent Growth-Hunter Summoner! Seeing the rapid attack speed of Shadowdrill Deinonychus dishing out frightening true damages, without a tanking MT, the other alternative is the endless cannon fodder summoned by a Summoner. Otherwise, one would have to retreat after merely slaying a few Shadowdrill Deinonychus.”
Sheyan casted a gentle smile.
“Well said, your excellency Zi. Not wrong at all. Furthermore, since this is for selfish motives, he wouldn’t bring along more manpower. After all, with the puny drop rate of these Shadowdrill Deinonychus, benefits can’t really be shared fairly. Actually, they aren’t being careless, because they solely believe you to be a one-man army, and are utterly clueless to our existence. Hence, even if they encounter any mishap when facing you, it will be entirely possible to hold on until reinforcements arrive.”
Unbeknownst why, when Zi observed Sheyan at present, her face started heating up. This obviously wasn’t a maiden’s passionate yearning for love. Instead, it was a tiny feeling of remorse over her prior attitude.
Nevertheless, she wasn’t willing to concede and scoffed.
“Hmph, just a smart guess. What if Fu Lyanna managed to control the situation and deter them from coming?”
Sheyan chuckled in response.
“If they don’t show up, then we’ll take it upon ourselves to harvest these Shadowdrill Deinonychus! After all, we can’t possibly leave empty handed aye? Furthermore, we can infer from Fu Lyanna’s scaredy demeanor of not taking the frontlines….could such cowardly conduct convince incomparably arrogant and untamed Growth-Hunters? I didn’t say I was a hundred percent confident anyway, just a measly sixty percent; still, looks like I was right.”
“Alright, we need to set up our formations. I must be clear on this, excellent Zi, as the strongest ace amongst us, you have an extremely heavy responsibility. So, I need to know if I can trust you.”
Zi’s complexion resembled frosting on noodles, as she icily asked.
“Do I appear unreliable to you?”
Sheyan issued a faint smile and answered.
“I hope not. Take these five flasks of gene-mix, you seem to have forgotten; I’m also a superb support, remember to find me for more if you run out eh.”
“You…..! What’d you mean by ‘I hope not’???!”
An ecstatic Tolui Helenite was gasping for breath as he wiped off perspiration from his face. This motion caused his hands to be soaked in red liquid. As it turns out, his face wasn’t covered in perspiration but fresh blood!
The truth was this.
Due to his overbearing crushing might, his final attack would frequently splatter his prey into mutilated pieces, thus causing thick blood to splash onto his face.
This was the sixteenth Shadowdrill Deinonychus he slew. In addition to the ones slaughtered by Yuan Zhan’s summoned beasts, they had already dispatched over twenty Shadowdrill Deinonychus.
In spite of that, the deadliness of these dinosaurs was truly insane. From Yuan Zhan’s unrivalled bitter expression, one could fathom how severe his casualties were.
As it turns out, just a few moments ago, one of his summoned beast who previously undergone the cleansing of Aldaris’s ‘Heart Storm’, actually betrayed its master. Even a high tiered summoned creature, one imbued with a ‘Beast Soul’ which allowed it to be rebirthed, actually roared in anguish right before it died and attempted to bite its master!
Every time a Shadowdrill Deinonychus cleaved out a wound on his summoned beast, it was akin to clawing at Yuan Zhan’s heart.
Right from the start of this battle, he had already permanently lost three summoned beasts. This represented that his battle capabilities had minimally dipped by a third.
In this cruel realm, the dipping of one’s battle capabilities undoubtedly represented the dipping of one’s status.
In contrast to Yuan Zhan’s bleak expression, Tolui was bursting with elation. His thick arms were riddled with blood dripping claw lacerations, instead, his nightmare imprint rung out –
[ Shadowdrill Claw, ‘A’ grade material ].
By artificing this material into a weapon, there would be a sky-high chance of enhancing it with true damages! Its true worth was minimally above an ordinary Silver Storyline grade equipment.
Most importantly, this object belonged to Tolui Helenite alone. He didn’t have to share it with anyone. Being in such a large scale party, obtaining sole authority for such a high level battle spoil could only be an aspiration to many.
Moreover, that was the main reason some of them weren’t interested in pursuing Zi. Killing of a single Zi would at most drop them a single blood key. Furthermore, an equipment may not even result from it. Even the eventual loots needed to be allocated amongst 5-6 individuals!
Who would want to go through such troubles? What more, the one ordering them, the Metals Professor Fu Lyanna, refused to bear the risks of fighting ahead!
This was an affair where risks far outweighed the benefits; where their lives faced imminent danger at all times….frankly speaking, the only reason this group hadn’t dispersed for their own interests, was due to Zeus’s unparalleled strength and charisma.
Tolui Helenite trudged forward with a malevolent smirk on his face. He patted Yuan Zhan’s shoulders and assured.
“Dude, relax. You’ve won my friendship. Besides, you will be able to acquire an incomparably powerful pet; just wait till that whore finishes her ludicrous fits, I’ll ask big brother to begin experiments and cultivate that dinosaur embryo for you! Just think it through, by adding your genes into the dinosaur’s embryo, the end product would be perfectly suited for you! Even Fanu, as a Reserve-duty Growth-Hunter then, managed to succeed in his taming pact. There wouldn’t be a problem for you!”
“My friend, just think about it. Carefully think about it, when the time comes when you seal a taming pact with that treasure, your other summoned beasts would probably burn with jealousy and some may abandon you. Why not exploit them fully now?”
Yuan Zhan strived to squeeze out a faint smile on his pale face, before nodding and replying.
“Fine, I get it.”
Stimulated by the harvest of an ‘A’ grade raw material, Tolui burst into hysterical laughters.
“Then let’s take a five minute rest before beginning. That building to the north looks good and we must hurry. After all, who knows what venom that darn whore would spew if we go missing for too long.”
Yuan Zhan doubtfully suggested.
“My MP can only be restored to 70% after five minutes. If a mishap unexpectedly happens, I won’t be able to deal with it properly”
Instead, Tolui Helenite lashed back.
“What sort of mishap can happen? You are being overly cautious. Right now, Zi can’t even catch her breath from being pursued by Fu Lyanna and the rest. Also, those scums from the Skull Party had seemingly lost a lead on their main mission, and are wondering around like headless house flies.”
“Furthermore, from the information we obtained, the damage dealt by these large claw lizards are so frightening, even a Tyrannosaurus wouldn’t dare to invade their territory.”
“Are you scared of a sudden insurrection of those Deinonychus going out of control? Look, there’s a random gigantic hot air balloon suspended ten metres over that roof, we can always climb up the rope! Their greatest weakness lies in the incapability of long range attacks, why the need for such worrying?”
Yuan Zhan widened his mouth, wanting to speak but ultimately choosing to remain silent.
At present, he had already incurred the disfavor of the Metals Professor, Fu Lyanna. If he infuriated Tolui Helenite, he feared that even lifting a foot in his party would be immensely difficult in the future!
Reflecting on that, he couldn’t help but regret his previous decision. Zi had channeled on their party resources towards him, even without an MT, there may still be a chance of roping those guys from the tiny Party Ace in. Reef wasn’t inferior to Archeaphill, and there was even that rare exceptional assistant tank, Seaman…..Chapter 718: Liu Yan and Zhao Yazhi’s hot air balloons……

Choices and regrets, yet life still has to go on; there is no medicine for regret in this world.
Clearly, the muscular Tolui Helenite wouldn’t be able to scout out the area. Thus, he could only mentally ‘motivate’ Yuan Zhan to forcibly summon a random wolf, and sent it deeper into the low-rise shantytown. He then utilized it to search for a new pack of Shadowdrill Deinonychus, before….attempting to provoke them.
Instead, to Yuan Zhan’s horror, he realized he actually poked a hornet’s nest this time! After wandering into some ‘forbidden’ area, that wolf was seemingly ripped into shreds by the sudden surge of a large pack of Shadowdrill Deinonychus!
Compounding onto his horror, for some unknown reason, the sheer mass of Shadowdrill Deinonychus he provoked appeared like a massive swarm of darkness; it was practically twice that of an ordinary pack!!!
Tracing the scent of the invaders, those dinosaurs rampaged over with great ferocity.
“Ahhh run!!!” Yuan Zhan immediately cried out from the bottom of his heart. He quickly consumed a speed enhancing medicine while sprinting for the building with the hot air balloon hovering above. Concurrently, Tolui Helenite, though he appeared like a muscular snail, displayed a fleeing speed that wasn’t the least bit inferior. He heaved along his massive warhammer while running like an agile type contestant.
To them both, once they could scale the suspended rope leading up to the hot air balloon carriage, though it merely offered a buffer of 6-7 metres, it would naturally suffice to keep them safe from the claws of those Shadowdrill Deinonychus.
While dashing towards the entrance of the building, Yuan Zhan took a quick glimpse backwards and immediately heaved a sigh of relief. The nearest Shadowdrill Deinonychus to him was over a hundred metres away.
Yet in this instant, an ominous premonition welled up in his heart. Actually, this was due to a faint dull ringing he heard when previously controlling his wolf to scour ahead……nevertheless, he didn’t have the time to contemplate over that, getting to the safety of that hot air balloon carriage took utmost priority. Moreover, he also carried items like hand grenades and such, thus, should those Shadowdrill Deinonychus decide to loiter beneath the hot air balloon, they would be bombed to death.
The buildings here weren’t too tall, being generally merely 2-3 storeys high. As a digitally enhanced Growth-Hunter himself, Yuan Zhan definitely only needed 10 seconds to scale to the rooftop.
However, when he finally arrived at the flat rooftop, he felt as though a basin of ice water had been poured over him. From head to toe, he felt a biting chill; a chill of imminent death that originated from his bone marrow!!!
Yuan Zhan was instantaneously stunned!
Simultaneously, even the herculean Tolui Helenite was stunned with him!
Prior to scaling the building, the hovering hot air balloon was in perfect condition and didn’t exhibit any abnormality. Yet now, within a mere span of 10 seconds, the hot air balloon was unexpectedly rapidly withering!
A horrifying transformation scene of a shrivelling balloon. It was essentially as distinct as placing Liu Yan’s chest and Zhao Yazhi’s chest together and comparing them!
(TL: Both of them are chinese actresses)
Presently, anyone could tell that this rapidly deflating air balloon could no longer support its own weight, much less to say that of two additional individuals.
The faces of both contestants quivered and at this moment, the ludicrously loud roaring pack of Shadrowdrill Deinonychus had climbed up….
“KILL!!!!!”
Facing such an impasse, Tolui Helenite howled crazily as his chest released a dazzling radiance. He was indeed worthy of being called Zeus’s confidant, a veteran of hundreds of battles, one that could surmount a comeback even in the midst of a sea of bloody corpses.
Agility wasn’t their forte, hence, fleeing would only mean death! Why not arise vigorously and fight for a chance to survive!
This was a true bloodbath. Both sides battled with frenzied and undying spirits. Yuan Zhan and Tolui Helenite didn’t dare to hold anything back but simultaneously unleashed all their hidden trump cards. In the face of these insanely terrifying true damage dealers, they only hoped to conclude the battle fast and squeeze out a shot at victory!
Tolui Helenite swung his stupendous dual handed warhammer furiously, as a blood radiance layered this half-ton heavy weapon! Wherever he swung, his body would follow fluidly with the warhammer’s momentum; smoothly dishing out combo strikes like the moving clouds and flowing water!
After consecutively sweeping 4-5 Deinonychus away, Tolui Helenite stamped his feet and jumped 2-3 metres up high, before smashing his bloody warhammer ruthlessly onto the rooftop’s surface. A layer of dense blood radiance condensed around the warhammer, as a depressing soul shuddering echo wafted through the air.
Then, a terrifyingly unrivalled seismic wave swept out. The entire rooftop tremored violently and collapsed with a thunderous rumble. Smoke and dust billowed up, as 6 Shadowdrill Deinonychus, who were located near the epicenter, were crushed to death at once and pulverized into mangled flesh!
Nonetheless, one could still hear the scampering of other onrushing Shadowdrill Deinonychus interweaving together. The sounds of their heavy footsteps trampling over the hearts of man. Still, they approached nearer and nearer, like an enormous towing vehicle that was recklessly colliding straight in.
After unleashing such an indomitable strike, Tolui Helenite definitely needed a short period of time to regather his strength. Even a powerful Growth-Hunter couldn’t operate like a perpetual motion machine!
Suddenly, in this instance, two shadows erupted out from the dusty rubble! The two shadows were two Shadowdrill Deinonychus that had been injured from the aftershock. Those mutated dinosaurs possessed an undaunting mentality, their movements remained savage and nimble even in their heavily wounded state.
Pouncing forth abruptly, they each tied down both legs of Tolui Helenite, as they frenetically clawed out threads of mutilated flesh.
Intending to find a nearby wall so that he could fight with it covering behind, Tolui Helenite instantly lost his balance after being caught off guard. Like a truck, he smashed into the room beside.
His left cheek was a lacerated mess of dripping blood. Still, Tolui understood this was a matter of life and death. Ignoring the searing pain, he howled crazily as his arm muscles bulged explosively. He stored his blood warhammer into his personal storage before stretching out both arms, and viciously grabbed the necks of both Shadowdrill Deinonychus.
Those two wild dinosaurs were already heavily wounded, and with a simple exertion of strength, Tolui ripped their heads from their necks, as twin ghastly white vertebra were revealed amidst the gushing blood.
Yet even after such a fatal blow, those two Shadowdrill Deinonychus still reflexively wrapped around Tolui Helenite’s legs relentlessly! Their claws reflexively dealt him more damages!
In such a predicament, Tolui Helenite grimaced as he finally consumed an honorary medicine dosage. Then, he released a shrilling roar.
“Beastmode!”
Instantly, Tolui’s body swelled up. Even his stretchable sleeveless garment ripped apart and revealed his naked top.
Amidst the sudden expansion of his muscles, a frightening scene occurred. The blood streaming down his bodily wounds actually started defying gravity, as the blood meandered throughout his body; as though an invisible brush was currently painting the inky blood onto his muscles.
The blood continued interweaving through his body before shockingly into different barbaric tattoos of exceedingly malevolent, grotesque and abstract beast tattoos.
Relying on this incredibly beastly ability, Tolui Helenite swept up a tempestuous blood storm with his blood warhammer against all onrushing Shadowdrill Deinonychus. Though some incomparably brutal Shadowdrill Deinonychus managed to chomp off chunks of flesh, Tolui Helenite momentous storm didn’t falter for even a second. The more damage he received from his foes, the more destructive his assaults became!
With the cover of Tolui Helenite’s beastmode, Yuan Zhan consecutively summoned out a large crowd of creatures; some of which were strong summoned creatures that was still grievously injured!
It was difficult to judge what the losses for Tolui was from this battle, but Yuan Zhan’s prowess would minimally plunge by 70%! This was a summoner’s woe. The might and mass of their summoned creatures directly determined their standings. To Yuan Zhan, if he failed engage a contract between a dinosaur in this world, his position in the party may possibly decline to a supporting role.
The battle finally concluded.
In the end, Yuan Zhan and Tolui Helenite both survived, but not after an excruciating ordeal.
Yuan Zhan was still fine. As for Tolui Helenite, one simply couldn’t find a single perfect piece of skin on his body. Every step he took left a blood footprint. If an ordinary person suffered such injuries, he would have perished over ten times!
Right now, none of them had the mood to retrieve their battle spoils. They were naturally frantically bandaging up and consuming food medicines.
But at this very moment, Tolui Helenite shockingly noticed that between Yuan Zhan’s brows, an intriguing red dot was flashing.
Under the sunset, that beaming dot still impressed a fiery sensation into one’s eyes; torturing one’s cornea, like a one-eyed creature in the darkness that was brimming with abundant killing intent!
“That’s a red dot….sight…..” After ending his beastmode, Tolui Helenite only managed to squeeze out that thought in his mind.
Then came a gunshot!
Yuan Zhan was bluntly struck flying. A single bullet accurately struck the targeted position of the red dot between his brows! A blazing inferno ignited as sizzles crackled from his burning skin, then an awful charred stench pervaded out from his wound!
500 hundred metres away atop a building, a black male appeared. He was puffing on a cigar. A dull and faint glow covered his body. Indeed, he had activated the ability, ‘Pearliate’, of the ‘Goldpearl of the Caribbean Sea’.
Mogensha already possessed fairly superb perceptive sense; after doubling it with ‘Pearliate’ and with the aid of his ‘SN-Wasp’ long distance firing, he naturally managed to deceive the eyes of both Yuan Zhan and Tolui Helenite.Chapter 719: Skywalker Force – Strands of Time

In actual fact, Mogensha had recently been up to no good. For example, the massive pack of ‘accidentally’ startled Shadowdrill Deinonychus, or the shrivelling hot air balloon that signified the deflation of their hopes.
Everything was Brother Black’s masterpiece he created with his ‘SN-9 Wasp’ and its newly equipped silencer.
As he noticed the unexpected appearance of a gunner, Tolui Helenite’s facial muscles instantly twitched violently. He roared in despair and, completely forsaking Yuan Zhan’s fate, he frantically turned in an attempt to flee.
Yet as he swung round, a red dot locked onto Tolui Helenite’s back. Following that, a bullet accurately punctured in like a stomping foot and ignited a deadly mini explosion!
The wounded Tolui howled angrily like a cornered beast. Though his back was a fried and mangled mess, he ignored the pain and accelerated his escape. Once again, he activated his ‘Beastmode’ berserking ability!
With every stomp he took, a deep bloodied footprint was left on the ground. Fresh blood spurted and dripped everywhere. The wounds that had just closed up from his previous battle instantly ruptured open again.
The massive strength of his ‘Beastmode’, required that each time he released his strength, all of Tolui’s muscle fibres would contract! With such an intensive jolting of the muscles, it would surely deal extremely severe damage to one’s body.
Nevertheless, after paying such a tremendous cost, the benefits involved were equally potent!
As Tolui stomped forward, he didn’t resemble a grievously wounded individual but a mighty warrior with 2-3 times his normal speed. Although he didn’t specialize in agility, his movement speed was exceedingly frightening at this moment.
Besides, every injury he received would act as a catalyst to further enhance and strengthen his prowess!
A short 2-3 seconds later, Tolui had actually already pulled open a gap of 20 plus metres, and would soon reach a long ruined street; the same ruined street caused by the Tyrannosaurus’ rampage the other night.
All of a sudden, a sonorous boom resounded from a nearby roll-up door. A brittle-like-paper looking male with a grave expression appeared. With 2-3 effortless punched, he crushed the roll-up door and tossed it aside. Then, step by step, he sauntered out steadily.
In his left hand, was an incessantly radiating black lightsaber, and covering his right arm, was an enormous shield that resembled the scorching sun!
Just from observing this individual, one would feel like the domineering noonday sunlight beating one down with an unbreakable sensation!

“MT…you are Reef!” Tolui Helenite gnashed his teeth and exclaimed.
“DAMMIT! You guys are actually that Party Ace!”
Tolui could be described as a veteran of a hundred battles. Such an imposing individual may still seem inferior to Zeus, yet in terms of talent or battle power, be it potential or influence, he was definitely not inferior to Zeus at all!
When Glory Party had classified Party Ace as their enemy, they naturally conducted a detailed investigation on them. Tolui still couldn’t guess when Brother Black appeared, because he hadn’t displayed his trademark AK. Yet with Reef appearing with his lightsaber, he naturally understood his predicament.
With such a domineering man obstructing ahead, Tolui knew it was absolutely impossible for him to breakthrough within a short period. Just that dark-gold grade shield alone already symbolized a heavenly moat blocking off his passage.
Despite so, he was still an incredibly decisive individual. Tolui immediately sucked in a deep breath and produced a ball that was glimmering with a mystifying brilliance from his personal storage.
This ball was the size of a chicken egg. When clutched in Tolui’s hand, it exuberated a gentle white brilliance.
Instantly, one could notice an extremely peculiar phenomenon occuring beneath Tolui’s feet. It seemed like a hexagram magic array was forming, as the gentle white brilliance continued to flow down like liquid, swiftly irrigating through the entire hexagram magic array. Evidently, the white glow was the fuel of this hexagram magic array.
Tolui Helenite surveyed his surroundings before clenching his teeth, and lashing out with a vicious tone.
“So long suckers, the next time we meet, you all, shall die!”
“Shit! He’s escaping!” Brother Black yelled into his party channel with a worried voice.
“That’s an ‘S’ rank item known as ‘Sauron’s Flight’! It can only be exchanged from an important storyline character, Grima Wormtongue, after entering Sauron’s fortress. Once that white glow is fully transferred into that magic array, he’ll escape!”
However, in this instant, a strange abnormality terrorized everyone’s vision. The entire world seemed to have dissolved into undulating blurriness!
It was exceedingly difficult to describe this sensation with words.
Yet when this abnormality faded away, everyone was astounded. The white glow that was repeatedly channeling into the ‘Sauron’s Flight’ transportation array, unexpectedly froze in midair. Afterwards, the white glow strangely flowed backwards before congealing back into the ball of glimmering mystifying brilliance!
Eventually, even that transportation array vanished.
Originally laughing wildly with a crystal clear venomous glare in his eyes, it now transformed into a unexplainable fluster. Anyone who was facing impending death would similarly feel such tremendous fear!
He aggressively swung round and looked up. Atop the rooftop, a feminine silhouette was disrupting the glaring sun rays. This woman was adorned in a dark blue gown and was brimming with an archaic and mysterious egyptian flare; a nobility that could never be tarnished. Her left hand gripped a crescent shaped dagger.
Right now, she was pointing that dagger icily towards here. Upon viewing that woman, one could sense a chilling gust swirling round her gown.
Frankly speaking, Zi couldn’t be considered the apex of female beauty. The features weren’t remarkably mesmerizing nor were they without flaws. However, her bearing was distinguished and unrivalled in coolness; a grandeur befitting of an arrogant royalty that was second to none!
Any ordinary male who viewed her face would be shuddered into humility, and be ashamed to take a second look.
Distinctly seen, the silver crescent dagger in Zi’s hand was incomparably sharp. At this moment, a dozen light arcs were flashing in with unbelievable speed! Those blade arcs appeared as though they were carved out from the void, impressing all onlookers with a trembling and mystifying sensation….as though space was quivering and being dissected.
Most probably, the bewildering dreamy sensation the contestants had experienced, was ushered in by Zi’s ability!
‘Skywalker Force – Strands of Time’!
In its initial stage, it could sever the enemy’s interaction with space and disrupt any ability! However, if the enemy’s ability belonged to the class of instant cast, it would deliver a silencing effect to the opponent; preventing them from casting any ability, inclusive of equipment abilities or items for 15 seconds.
As for the ‘Skywalker Force’ ability, it was a purer advanced ability with a prerequisite of ‘Force lvl 10’!
So far, Zi has only managed to grasp this single method of using her ‘Skywalker Force’ ability. Moreover, this was one of her invincible abilities she painstakingly learnt after she was left alone when her entire party was annihilated.
In this moment, Tolui Helenite’s spirit was submerged. He could seemingly smell the foul stench of death. Yet suddenly, his eyes revealed a madness of a desire for mutual demise! Affirming his desire, he charged furiously towards Reef as he prepared to smash down with his blood warhammer!
Reacting with his incomparable abundance of combat experience, Reef immediately raised his shield and rushed forth while issuing a bright roar! He titled his shield 30 degrees up as he prepared to parry away the incoming smashing warhammer. From here, one could detailedly observe the difference between an expert and a rookie.
Before the blood warhammer smashed onto the shield, it bloody radiance intensified turbulently; as though bloodied currents were splitting the air!
Boom! Reef was actually repelled 5-6 metres backwards by the smashing hammer. Both his feet plowed two deep trails of broken up pieces along the pavement
Repel!
Although he was repelled backwards, Reef quickly firmed himself and continued blocking off Tolui Helenite’s front, preventing him from easily bypassing this barrier! Then, he unleashed his ‘Shattering Cardiac Roar’.
A thundering roar swept out towards all corners, as it churned up waves of dust. In spite of that, Tolui remained seemingly unaffected by the speed decline effect. His outrageous ‘Beastmode’ ability actually provided him immunity to a speed impeding effects!
Following that, Tolui jumped up high as blood radiance gathered richly around his blood warhammer. The blood radiance revolved rapidly around his warhammer, and in the blink of an eye, it carried a long streak of blood radiance before smashing down onto Reef’s massive and resolute sun shield with unmatched momentum.
A piercing metallic crash erupted. Blood and a dark golden radiance enveloped the surroundings like electric currents scattering everywhere.
Yet all of a sudden, Tolui’s agonizing howl could be heard! More strangely, at the point of impact between warhammer and shield, the fresh blood radiance appeared as though it was being pulverized into mutilated flesh! Meanwhile, the scorching sun radiance similarly turned increasingly dimmed!
Reef gritted his teeth as both his feet were anchored 2-3 centimetres deep into the ground. Numerous tiny crevices formed around his feet as they extended 2-3 metres outwards like a cobweb! It appeared as though he would soon sink into the concrete from this hammering strike!
Yet when the aftermath of the strike ended, Reef’s countenance instantly changed. This wasn’t due to him suffering a fatal blow. After all, no matter how formidable Tolui Helenite was, he was still a Growth-Hunter and not an Awakener. It was impossible for him to crush Reef with merely two moves.
Instead, Reef realized that Tolui’s strike was unexpectedly a feint. He planned to borrow the resulting impact of the collision to propel himself far away!Chapter 720: Ferocious counter

After hammering down, Tolui utilized the massive recoil to execute a forward somersault in midair. He propelled himself forward for 7-8 metres before landing steadily in a half-kneeling posture.
A trace of agony filtered through his sinister countenance. Following that, two unexplainable and shocking glows beamed out from both his legs. They were indeed the sign of a special ability casted by Tolui Helenite – ‘Mike Powell’s Leap’ !
‘Mike Powell’s Leap’ was an ability that granted a 700% boost to the user’s next jump!
Kacha! Kacha! A string of sounds drifted in. One could clearly observe the cement beneath Tolui’s feet being grinded into powdery fragments. His feet stamped the ground as the tiny 2-3 metre long fissures erupted along the ground.
Then, his body instantly jolted forward as he soared for nearly 40 metres with breakneck pace; leaving a falling cloud of dust behind and even blasting through two lateral buildings.
Just with mere fleeing seconds, from seemingly venting all his rage with a hammering strike onto Reef, when the blinding clash of blood warhammer and shield died down, Tolui had unexpectedly fled far away to the back.
In a blink of an eye, a chasm of 60 metres separated him and Reef.
“What’s he planning to do?!” Doubt surfaced in both Reef’s and Mogensha’s heart.
However, it was Zi’s expression that sunk dramatically. An unprecedented crisis instantly welled up her heart! She immediately yelled with a sharp voice.
“Hurry run!! Seaman, his target is you!!!”
When Zeus and the others deemed Party Ace as their opponent, being a core fighter himself, Tolui Helenite had carefully analyzed each individual of Party Ace.
At present, he no longer harbored any hope of staying alive. Still, his brutal and savage personality meant that he would do his utmost to deliver a fatal blow to his foes before his death.
Undoubtedly, amongst the four in his eyes, the hardest to kill was Reef.
Honestly speaking, in a 1 v 1 scenario, he may not be Reef’s match as well! Next, the most difficult to kill was Zi. Moreover, she was the one that Tolui held the least confident in defeating in a solo fight.
Hence, of the two remaining, if Tolui felt like he had an opportunity, he would definitely have chosen to eliminate golden AK. Nevertheless, he also understood the difficulty clearly. Golden AK’s reputation was illustriously rising lately and he was even a gunman adept in agility and perceptive sense. Firstly, it would be tough to mount a sneak attack onto him. Secondly, AK has probably reserved several life protecting capabilities on him.
Thus, Tolui locked onto the support class individual known as Seaman.
As Sheyan had battled alongside Yuan Zhan and Sable during the realm war previously, Glory Party managed to obtain a relatively detailed report about him. Their evaluation of Sheyan was this.
His top three attributes are strength, intelligence and physique.
He possesses excellent support abilities.
An individual with top quality combat awareness.
Still, he lacked life preserving methods.
To Tolui Helenite, excellent support capabilities meant weakness in offense. In his current ‘extinguishing lampstand’ state, it was indeed favourable news. Also, without life preserving methods, he could conclude the battle swiftly.
Thus, Tolui Helenite made a decisive call – to eliminate Seaman!
Relying on his keen awareness he developed from countless combat experience, Tolui had scanned the battlefield and discovered that for the sake of preventing them both from escaping, their opponents were relatively segregated from each other. In addition, a support class contestant wouldn’t be vastly separated from the battlefield, hence, there remained only a few spots for him to hide. Thus, Tolui quickly deciphered Seaman’s location.
Masking his intentions perfectly, Tolui unexpectedly chose not to flee from this encirclement but instead dove deeper and barrelled in with proactive dominance.
“Wretched little rat, where do you intend on fleeing?” Tolui broke into hysterical laughter as he finally sighted a panicking individual, who was sprinting away in disarray. While charging in, he smashed through steel fences with his crude warhammer.
All of a sudden, Tolui stored his warhammer and opted for a ‘FIM-92 Stinger’, a homing missile launcher.
After locking onto the hastily retreating Sheyan, Tolui pressed the trigger. Instantly, a blazing combustion spewed out from the launcher’s black barrel.
Shua! Shua! Two guided missiles whizzed out and rumbled towards Sheyan.
“Mogensha, Reef! Just let Yuan Zhan off!!” Zi yelled sharply.
“We must hurry to rescue Seaman that idiot. How can there be such an idiot, letting the enemy discover him so easily?! Tolui is unstoppable when he enters ‘Beastmode’, but if we unleash our greatest combined offense, we can finish off that maniac before he gets to Seaman! Otherwise, Seaman’s demise is inevitable! OI, what’s with both your reactions?!!”
As it turns out, after Zi issued her order, both Mogensha and Reef revealed weird expressions. Reef persisted in guarding this essential main street. As for Mogensha, he continued camping at his vantage point, as he focused on gunning down the wretchedly fleeing Yuan Zhan.
“Hey, your excellency, Zi. Actually we forgot to mention one thing….Ehh?? Shit, Reef hurry over. Yuan Zhan actually fused with his summoned beast!”
Meanwhile, Zi was anxiously stamping her feet.
“Are you guys even listening to me??!”
Concurrently, the two guided ‘stinger’ missiles, with smoke puffing out from behind, had already reached Sheyan’s front.
Boom! A tremendous explosion resounded.
A shockwave from the explosion swept out, blasting straight against Sheyan who had darted away. Sand and rocky sediments were blown away from the exploding nucleus, exposing the raw concrete ground beneath. Eventually, one could only observe two fiery and smoky mushroom clouds.
Before he could dive behind cover, Sheyan was struck by the shockwave as the inferno engulfed him. Fragments of the missiles scraped and lacerated out several deep wounds along his body.
Afterwards, while Sheyan was still struggling to get up, the blood soaked Tolui Helenite pounced in ferociously as he swung forth his dark red warhammer. With a single smack, he struck Sheyan smashing against a wall behind, before thrusting in with the acute tip of his dreadful warhammer.
Finally, Tolui Helenite finished executing a hammering uppercut, striking Sheyan up into the air. Before Sheyan could fall, Tolui’s muscles contracted with explosive might, as even faint blood mist sprayed out from his body.
“AHHHHHH, go to hell!!!”
Tolui Helenite roared frenziedly as he spun his bloody warhammer and viciously smashed it in!
As his warhammer struck in, a mirage of a gigantic blood lion formed. With unparalleled hardness, the warhammer pounded against Sheyan’s head. Following that, the gigantic blood lion roared tyrannically and munched down onto Sheyan, before viciously ripping his flesh apart!
Therefore, even if Sheyan plunged into a near-death state from being pounded by the warhammer, that blood lion mirage would still deal blood loss damage and claim the enemy’s life.
“HAHAHAHA. First one down! Ah! Damn!” As Tolui Helenite laughed wildly amidst his despairing reverie, Zi’s ‘Force Collision Wall’ collided in and sent him pathetically crashing 5-6 metres away. Blood oozed out from his mouth, nose and ears.
Nevertheless, Tolui immediately climbed back up. With a mouthful of blood, he howled crazily.
“Be it that I will perish here today, you guys shall join me in the grave! Yuan Zhan had analyzed on the pheromones produced by these Shadowdrill Deinonychus when in distress. His original goal was to bait out flocks of Shadowdrill Deinonychus, a pity we failed. Yet now, with this failed experiment, I shall personally witness your lamentable state of wailing and groaning, when these Shadowdrill Deinonychus shred you to pieces!”
“NO DON’T!!” Watching Tolui Helenite lifting up a test tube before smashing it onto the ground, Yuan Zhan cried out in great bitterness.
Meanwhile, Zi’s expression changed drastically as she commanded defeatedly.
“We must leave now! It is impossible to save Seaman, we must flee as far as we can now! Saving him will only cause our total annihilation.”
Without a doubt, Tolui Helenite wasn’t lying at this point. When that test tube shattered, an unknown odour wafted out.
Within seconds, an alarming symphony of shuffling footsteps echoed in from the not to distant ghettos. After a few more seconds, at least 200-300 Shadow Drill Deinonychus laid bare in their naked eyes. They poured in rapaciously like a tidal wave, as a pungent fishy stench flooded the atmosphere.
The savage dinosaurs inevitably stampeded towards the culprit, Tolui. Despite so, Tolui had evidently planned beforehand. He suddenly retrieved a medicine dosage that twinkled with a purplish glint.
This was a magic potion he acquired from the Harry Potter World. Upon consumption, Tolui Helenite would instantly plunge into a near death state; unable to use any item or ability, nor benefit from health regeneration. Yet simultaneously, death would glance amicably over him after he sacrificed such a large portion of vitality, preventing him from receiving any damage for the next half an hour. Of course, he would be torn asunder after half an hour elapses.
Furthermore, the consequence of employing this magic potion was extremely grave, permanently deducting 15% of one’s HP and MP. Even if one could fortunately survive, he would be greatly crippled.
“Ohh, so this is your trump card?”
Out of the blue, beneath a distant heap of debris, a desecrated individual stood up.
He coughed out several mouthfuls of dust and nonchalantly stroked his hair, causing greyish loose dust to pelter down.
If not Sheyan, then who?Chapter 721: Yuan Zhan’s death

The desecrated looking Sheyan gazed over to Tolui Helenite and chuckled.
“Aye, my friend. It seems that hammer of yours only looks tough.”
In this instant, a dumbfounded expression covered Tolui’s face, as though he had just seen a ghost. He shouted from the depths of his lungs.
“IMPOSSIBLE!! How are you not dead!!? Even honorary medicines are futile for contestants struck by my blood weapon! Even other kinds of medicines can only retain 33% of their healing efficacies!”
Facing such a bewildering scene, not only was Tolui stunned, but Yuan Zhan and Zi as well….
Sheyan exercised his limbs a little before dashing towards a nearby and steady looking building, while simultaneously gesturing for Zi, Mogensha and Reef to assemble there.
Concurrently, he also hurled out a flask of curse-mix. Its poisonous fog fumigated towards those Shadowdrill Deinonychus, causing their movements to turn sluggish.
While sprinting, Sheyan smirked at Tolui and scoffed.
“That’s because I didn’t even need to take medicines, dumbass.”
“You…..you didn’t consume medicines?!!!!? Impossible!!” Tolui Helenite’s eyes were about to pop out by now.
“Even though we belong to the same realm, and though you are a contestant receiving additional regulated protection from a Growth-Hunter like me, it is still impossible for you to be alive. I’ve already slain 76 others….I…..cannot have calculated wrongly!”
As he spoke till here, Tolui suddenly recalled a seemingly minute probability. When that happened, the him who killed without blinking, immediately stuttered as though he was staring at a ghost.
His voice turned exceedingly shaking as he mumbled.
“Un……u-unless….”
“Unless, I’m also an MT.” Sheyan smirked and continued the words that was stucked in Tolui’s throat.
“Y-you….you guys are just a party of three, but, but there are actually two MTs???” Tolui Helenite’s voice was extremely shaky by now.
Following that, his tone abruptly turned venomous.
“Not possible!! Every single MT possesses their own arrogance, it is almost impossible for two to coexist. A party should only have one voice! Even if one makes a compromise, fractures are bound to form sooner or later, leading to internal crumbling!”
By now, Tolui Helenite still insisted in believing his own deduction. Nevertheless, he purposely uttered those words, in order to create dissention between Sheyan and Reef even in this despairing situation. One could tell his scheming heart wasn’t inferior to his masculine image!
At present, Reef was already stationed at a position indicated by Sheyan. After listening to Tolui’s words, he couldn’t help but interrupt.
“A true pity, Mr Tolui. None of us made any compromise really. Seaman is stronger than me, there’s no cause for doubt. Compared to me, he is more suited to be the leader. Frankly speaking, I am tremendously content with my current position.”
Tolui shut his eyes in hopelessness. He could only feel gloominess rushing against his chest. It was as though breathing itself was arduous and his chest felt like exploding.
“What the hell is going on. How does this even make sense. A party of three, but two MTs?! A Growth-Hunter that acknowledges a mere contestant as his leader, and a content one at that…ah…ah, am I going crazy or is this world turning nuts???”
“Eh? And what is that bunch of morons up to now? Are they trying to prolong their demise? Ahh…Ahh…Ahchoo!”
Initially lost in desperation, a twinkle suddenly shone in Tolui Helenite’s eyes. As he peeped through the gaps of these ravenously swarming Shadowdrill Deinonychus, he observed Party Ace’s movements.
“Hahaha, a bunch of morons, really a greedy bunch of morons! If they had left immediately, perhaps two can still make it out. But they want me to witness themselves being torn asunder? Ahh? What’s with this abrupt headache?”
Truthfully speaking, when Zi beheld the sheer mass of stampeding Shadowdrill Deinonychus, her basic instinct was to run. She knew the nickname given to these dinosaurs – the bane of all MTs. The devastation of true damages didn’t need to be randomly elaborated
Still, when she observed Mogensha and Reef unanimously and swiftly heeding Sheyan’s commands, Zi subconsciously decided to tag along.
She was exceptionally clear on one fact. If those two old birds, Reef and Mogensha, didn’t possess adequate confidence, they wouldn’t deliver themselves to die in vain. Secondly, for some unknown reason, she who had been accustomed to giving orders, when suddenly receiving an order from someone else, couldn’t muster any resistance. Perhaps…….she wasn’t willing to see that male tragically perishing in front of her as well.
While dashing over, Brother Black abruptly leapt up high. While in mid-ar, he released fire as his golden AK spat out long fiery tongues.
Mogensha then shouted over.
“Excellent Zi, your turn!”
Meanwhile, after fusing with a veggie summoned creature, Yuan Zhan’s movement speed became abnormally slow. Hence, numerous Shadowdrill Deinonychus had already swarmed him. Bitter wails echoed through the frenetic clawing.
Mogensha’s burst shot of three bullets precisely depleted all his remaining health points, directly striking him into near death state. Simultaneously, the barrage knocked away the foraging dinosaurs.
Zi casted a glance at the hopeless Yuan Zhan. A strand of complication emotion welled up in her eyes in this instant. Still, they swiftly transformed decisive and callous!! She raised her fair palm at towards Yuan Zhan!
‘Force Collision Wall’ unleashed!
A formless and transparent wall collided in.
A second later, Zi received a slaying notification.
Right now, her heart harbored not a strand of vengeance, but an incomparably intensive hollowness and ache!
This feeling was akin to one’s most precious object shattering in one’s own hand.
Of course, this didn’t mean that there was a special relationship going on between Zi and Yuan Zhan. Instead, it was because the Illume-union was constructed with her own blood and tears…. she poured loads of the party’s resources on Yuan Zhan, yet……that scum actually repaid her with betrayal!
When Zi killed him, it was equivalent to her destroying all her previous ideals, her hard work, and her success….
“You, what are you guys doing?” After jolting back from her momentary heartache, Zi immediately gasped.
Please don’t misunderstand. Although lady Zi gasped like a chinese maiden being violated while riding the public bus, it was because she was genuinely astounded by Party Ace’s peculiar formation!
Mogensha standing at the rear of the party was a given. However, the powerful and enduring Growth-Hunter, Reef, was unexpectedly standing in the support tank position. As for Sheyan, he was daringly shielding the entrance of the building, appearing as though he wanted to defy the surging wave of Shadowdrill Deinonychus with his might alone!
Holding back a hundred plus Shadowdrill Deinonychus with his might alone!
Wasn’t this action in Zi’s eyes simply contemptible and simply suicidal????
Yet strangely at this moment, Brother Black even fished out a cigar and casually lighted it. He then ambiguously muttered.
“Boss, want a stick? Right, you sure there aren’t entrances at the back? If there are leakages behind, we’re screwed.”
Sheyan maintained his gaze ahead and calmly answered.
“There are, but I’ve already reinforced them with steel fences. Even a loach can give up on entering. Anyway, regardless if Glory Party had triggered this or not, I’ve already accounted a scenario of raiding Shadowdrill Deinonychus in my plans. Thus, I surveyed this area last night, and prepared five buildings. I rank this building the second out of the five.”
By now, 5-6 bloodlusted Shadowdrill Deinonychus lunged towards Sheyan! Their shimmering sharp claws released a chilling glint that all contestants, no, even MTs would be afraid of.
Zi couldn’t help but shut her eyes in despair….as for Tolui Helenite, he excitedly widened his eyes…..the humiliation he suffered was far too great. His rage would now be vented through those frenetic beasts!!!
His eyes were bloodshot as he cried out in ecstasy.
“You moron, you will be minced to pieces in five seconds! Ahchooo….foolish contestant, thinking that you can run amok with merely an innate ability? Can’t you see the Growth-Hunter MT behind you trembling? cough cough* coughcough…dammit, is this magic potion corroding my throat? Why am I coughing so violently…”
5 seconds later……10 seconds passed….
20 seconds elapsed….
Finally, a full 50 seconds later…
Zi was no longer speaking. Like a robot, he repeatedly unleashed her ‘Force Collision Walls’. Right now, she was utterly shaken. There was no words to describe this situation.
Apart from Zi, Mogensha and Reef were mainly in charge of eradicating any Shadowdrill Deinonychus that managed to squeeze in. With the help of their two viperwolves and five sage-scarabs, this mission was incredibly relaxing for them.
The main slaughterer was still Zi. One didn’t have to elaborate on her formidability. Her ‘Force Collision Wall’ naturally offered an area of effect superiority.
Those Shadowdrill Deinonychus possessed smaller frames, while their vitality and defence were quite weak. During the latter period, many injured Shadowdrill Deinonychus were instantly reduced into a puddle of flesh and blood after meeting Zi’s ‘Force Collision Wall’ head on. This was truly an all out massacre.
As he witnessed this scene, the muscular and deranged Tolui was twitching violently. He struggled to raise his trembling fingers.
“T-t-this……h-how is his possible? An innate ability that can suppress true damages? coughcoughcoughcough.”
Reef sighed and casted a sympathetic gaze at Tolui, like how a pastor would gaze at a dying patient.
“Oh Mr Tolui Helenite, this is the reason I call him boss.”
Tolui widened his mouth but violently wheezed instead. Watching his supremely widened mouth, one could tell he was desperately yearning for air amidst the nerve-wracking cough.
There was seemingly something clogging his throat, something that couldn’t be coughed out!Chapter 722: Coughing to death!

“Aziz..Aziz will avenge me……Hitman Aziz will surely, a-aven, avenge, m-me. coughcoughcoughcough…..”
Tolui’s final word clogged his throat entirely. First came a few droplets of blood spraying out from his virulent coughing, then streams of blood rolled down the corners of his lips like red snakes slithering rapidly down his neck. His widened eyes lost their focus, and finally, Tolui ceased from all movements…..
Spectating such a scene, Sheyan heaved a sigh of relief and shook his head silently. Instead, Brother Black gloated sadistically and teased with joy.
“Boss, another slayer point added, eh?”
Simultaneously, Sheyan swung a punch at a Shadowdrill Deinonychus and chuckled.
“Hoh, congratulations to Mr Tolui for being second partaker of this good fortune of coughing to death.”
Meanwhile, waves of astonishment were flushing into Zi’s heart. Tolui Helenite’s magic potion should’ve possessed an outstanding precedence rate, yet even under its protection, Tolui still passed away ‘peacefully’ by some sort of special blood loss effect! Such a scene completely amazed her once again.
Honestly speaking, Zi wasn’t an individual with shallow knowledge. However, in this short span of an hour, the number of astonishing events she experienced had eclipsed all else since she entered the nightmare realm!
After a momentary daze, she regained her senses and coldly announced.
“Aziz….probably false bravado. Zeus has already dispatched Fu Lyanna and the rest to kill me, while still having to deal with the threat of the Skull Party. Under such circumstances, would he dare to send out Aziz?”
Mogensha was a very flashy individual. If not for him growing up amidst the chaos of war but instead in a peaceful state like America, he would probably have been an exceptionally gifted rapper. Hence, even in the midst of such an intensive battle, he couldn’t help but speak up.
“Aziz? Is he very formidable?”
Meanwhile, with her five slender scallion-like fingers, Zi drew out extremely distinct marks in the air. Then, with a gentle push of her right palm, she once again pushed a ‘Force Collision Wall’ out. Rumbling thunderously as it whizzed out, the formless wall created a bloody storm along its path!
After regulating her breath, Zi indifferently answered.
“Speaking of Aziz, you should be wary of him the most, Mogensha. If Tolui Helenite was Zeus’s sword, then Aziz is his deadliest arrow! Do you not know why he is hailed as America’s public enemy?”
Concurrently, Mogensha gunned down an onrushing Shadowdrill Deinonychus, while he chewed on his gum and nonchalantly replied.
“Nope.”
“Prior to entering the nightmare realm, he was already an incredibly dreadful sniper. A citizen from Afghanistan, his parents died to the Americans when he was young and only he managed to avoid disaster. Bearing this bone deep hatred, he started assassinating American troops ever since he learned how to use firearms.”
“By the age of thirty, the amount of American militants that had perished to his gun exceeded 300 men, which included special ops soldiers and others. Gradually, he became hailed as America’s public enemy. Monitored by the FBI, when Aziz reached the age of 35, his wife and kids were killed, which eventually led to him stumbling into the nightmare realm…”
Zi’s tone complied with her icy demeanor. The impression she exuberated was as if she wasn’t in the midst of fighting, but merely gossiping with friends in a coffee shop on a rainy night.
Sheyan nodded quietly. For this lady to be able to command such a large party, she naturally possessed a certain charm and imperceptible influence of esteem.
After listening to Aziz’s history, Mogensha subconsciously took a deep breath of chilling air. His spine turned slightly numb. His own living conditions were considered treacherous, yet as compared to Aziz, it was utterly not worth mentioning.
The most terrifying aspect of Aziz was that even under such circumstances, he actually dared to proactively find trouble with the American forces! Moreover, these were his accomplishments even before entering the realm! One could simply observe how formidable his innate would be. Perhaps, it already matured to an incredibly powerful stage even before he entered the realm.
Zi, intentionally or otherwise, glanced at Mogensha again and uttered.
“Aziz has a habit. While clashing with foes, he loves to assassinate the opponent’s gunner first. This is due to his prejudice and sacred ideology that other than him, nobody else deserves to employ a firearm before him! To him, his gun is his life. The only source of his faith and his very soul!”
Usually conceited with his gunning talents, beads of perspiration were now emitting from Mogensha’s forehead…..even his aiming became slightly weird. Fortunately, at this moment, the majority of Shadowdrill Deinonychus were annihilated or had fled. This mental blow to Brother Black didn’t affect the overall situation at all.
With the assistance of an invincible mage type Growth-Hunter like Zi, the overwhelming quantities of Shadowdrill Deinonychus still succumbed to her indiscriminate barrages of ‘Force Collision Walls’. Nevertheless, Zi also fully exhausted all her three floating rhombus mana crystals. One could tell how taxing this was on her mentally.
Truthfully speaking in Zi”s perspective, she hadn’t felt this sensation of merely holding the fort for an exceedingly long time.
During her other battles, as the party leader, she had to constantly overlook all other aspects as well as the grand state of the battlefield. She had to consistently direct her party’s flow, and managed many different things simultaneously.
At present, this sensation felt totally brand new to her. However, in the midst of this serenity, as she observed Sheyan’s astute arrangements and decisions, a clear disappointment surfaced in her eyes. A notion she wished to suppress in her heart subconsciously floated up.
“Could it be, the gap between us is that vast?”
The property of true damages was indeed particular rare.
It wasn’t merely devastating, but was also considered extremely rare!
After the gang slaughtered a hundred Shadowdrill Deinonychus, their harvest was unexpectedly only a single crystal –
[ ‘A’ grade material: Shadowdrill Deinonychus Blood Crystal – Embedding this crystal will provide a bonus of 20 true damage! ]
Following that, needless to say, they decided to split the loots from both blood keys acquired from Yuan Zhan and Tolui Helenite.
At present, Zi produced a bottle of liquid known as ‘Underworld Spring’, and used it on the two blood keys. It supposedly increased the chances of drawing a higher grade item by 15%. However, it was a one time usage where the bottle of Underworld Spring’ required refilling in its relevant world.
For Yuan Zhan’s key, the trio evidently advocated for drawing equipments. In contrast, Zi strolled to a distant corner with extremely conflicted emotions.
Soon after, she could hear Reef’s excited chuckle. From afar, she sighted a dark golden glitter. As it turns out, it was that exact accessory she traded with the trio previously, but right now, it was a ‘+7 Chieftain’s Hobby’ that returned to its original owners. Frankly speaking, that item was truly fated with the trio.
As for Tolui Helenite’s key, an argument begun over the decision to draw his equipment or items instead.
Without a doubt, Tolui inevitably boasted remarkable equipments. For example that blood warhammer, which could actually cause honorary medicines to turn invalid when battling contestants! Besides that, there was also that 700% power leap booster equipment.
Still, Tolui also possessed an incredible storage of items. Excluding that ‘S’ grade item, ‘Sauron’s Flight’, there was also the ‘A’ grade material, ‘Shadowdrill Claw’, that he harvested from the Shadowdrill Deinonychus recently and was equivalent to a dark-gold grade equipment! Most crucially, they could draw three items but only one equipment with a 50% chance of failure.
The trio debated incessantly, each unable to convince each.
Meanwhile, the cool and composed Zi silently stood by the side and replenished her rhombus mana crystals. Initially unwilling to participate in this argument, but when she noticed that time was rapidly passing, Zi ultimately couldn’t maintain her unperturbed state and strode over.
She glared at them austerely and chided.
“Do you guys wish to stay here and deliver yourselves to Fu Lyanna? Although Glory Party’s party channel transmission is limited to two kilometres….. Yuan Zhan reared a ‘Soul Owl’. The release of that ‘Soul Owl’ indicates a bad omen! Once that ‘Soul Owl’ locates Fu Lyanna and combust into nothingness, she will evidently realize something had happened to him. Perhaps, in the best scenario, the dimwitted Fu Lyanna remains confused and clueless, but after such a long time…..whatever it is, they may arrive here anytime, and yet you guys are still bickering amongst yourselves!!”
“What’s that to bicker about? Tolui that fool is Zeus’s blade. His slayer value has assuredly surpassed 30 points. Thus, even for a Growth-Hunter like him, his blood key will sure provide two drawing chances. Just hurry and finish up, then we leave at once!”
After concluding, Zi frustratedly turned and left.
Watching her leaving figure elegantly enhanced by her deep-blue robe, Sheyan shrugged his shoulders.
“Alright, alright. Let’s get to work.”
The first draw was the items. In the end, it was a complete fiasco.
Out of the three items, two were junk and could only be swapped for several hundreds of utility points. One could tell the bunch of Glory Party was merely exaggerating their appearance and wasn’t wealthy at all. They didn’t even spare such loose change in directly selling to the nightmare realm, but stored them to sell in the realm marketplace instead; thereby saving a few hundreds of extra utility points.
Furthermore, this was Zeus’s confidant! To be scavenging so pathetically, one could indeed distinctly feel the tacky problem of loot allocation for large scale parties.
Fortunately, the final item was pretty excellent. It was the ‘A’ grade material, ‘Shadowdrill Claw’.Chapter 723: All-Conquering Might

After concluding the item draw, the trio waited expectantly. Indeed just as what Zi predicted, their nightmare imprints transmitted the notifications.
[ Growth-Hunter no.81212’s slayer value is above 30 points, condition for second draw is fulfilled ]
[ You receive another draw from the blood chest! ]
“Oh woah!” Although he was already expecting this, Reef and Mogensha still failed to contain their excitement. Sheyan cheerfully announced.
“Our excellent Zi is indeed matchless in experience, her words spot on without errors.”
Following that, Sheyan urged Reef.
“Wanna test your luck?”
Reef hesitated a little but his eyes revealed immeasurable delight.
“Alright.”
Sheyan actually thought Reef wouldn’t agree but merely asked out of courtesy. Like a simple greeting of ‘have you had dinner’, but yet the other party abruptly blurted, ‘no I have not, treat me….’
Sheyan eventually broke out of his amazement and asked.
“Did the Lord not mention not to covet another man’s wife, nor his house, fields, servants, oxen, donkeys and everything?”
Reef then offered an extremely classic answer.
“Not too long ago, I realized that in this cursed realm, every man is their own master.”
Reef then selected the equipment draw. His hand reached into the blood chest and…his expression hinted a strenuous use of strength….looking at his exerted state, everyone’s heart flushed with joy. With a fierce grunt, Reef actually pulled out a massive regiment of unparalleled rich crimson radiance!!!
As she observed the crimson radiance spiralling up, Zi couldn’t help but return and exclaimed.
“You guys…..what kind of luck is this!”
A while later, the crimson radiance gradually receded and took shape into an incomparably brutal and bloodthirsty giant warhammer!!
The weapon of slaughter than Zeus personally purchased and gifted his subordinate!
Finally, the properties of this miraculous weapon were exhibited before their eyes.

The contestants browsed through its description initially with enthusiasm, but were soon dumbfounded….65 points of strength requirement! Moreover, the ability ‘Heavy Weapon Mastery’ lvl 7! None of them could employ this warhammer, at least not for a long time.
Moments later, under the repeated hastening of the icy looking Zi, the trio eventually boarded that arachnid Overlord.
As the sky begun darkening, they soared towards the direction of the dead corpse, the wealthy young master, Chedeliarchos Skoa.
Presently, Zi had vented her resentment after slaying Yuan Zhan. Thus, she now needed to accomplish her main mission and earn the rights of returning to the realm.
Regardless, even with the addition of Zi, Party Ace’s combat power was still vastly insufficient in contesting Glory Party.
Frankly speaking, they managed to eliminate Yuan Zhan and Tolui Helenite because Glory Party wasn’t aware of Party Ace’s existence. Their deaths would surely invoke a reaction akin to poking a beehive.
Without a doubt, Glory Party wouldn’t know the culprits were from Party Ace, nonetheless, they could confirm that Zi had received reinforcements and would surely take a more wary stance in their following activities. Moreover, it would be hard to ascertain the schemes and traps following this.
This could be considered the first time that Zi was riding an arachnid Overlord while fully conscious. Thus, one could observe the wariness and resistive look on her face as she scanned the manifold maroonish flesh vasculars of this Overlord’s interior. Furthermore, she couldn’t hold onto these organs while flying, and thus looked relatively anxious as well.
Upon noticing Zi’s rigid demeanor, Sheyan couldn’t resist teasing her to help her relax a little.
“Zi, there isn’t a need to worry, I have wonderful news for you.”
Zi was currently striving to maintain her straight posture, in order to prevent a tentacle looking ‘safety belt’ from staining her skin. Upon hearing Sheyan’s words, she frowned and asked.
“What?”
Sheyan replied.
“Looking at it now, although some members of the Skull Party are also searching for the amber sequence, I reckon that only a portion of them have accepted this mission. Furthermore, their mission is actually segregated into different side missions. Otherwise, the crucial map pinpointing the location of Chedeliarchos Skoa should be held by their boss, and not recklessly carried around by any subordinate, which led to it falling into our hands.”
“So you actually acquired a critical map for their mission?”
After hearing Sheyan’s words, Zi exhaled gently and exhibited a tinge of joy on her face. Currently, the pressure on her shoulders was truly immense. If she hadn’t encountered the trio, she believed that she would still be struggling on whilst at death’s door.
Seeing that Zi’s emotions had settled down a little, the trio then produced the battle spoils to distribute. Instead, Zi directly shook her head in rejection.
However, after glancing at that blood weapon, ‘All-Conquering Might’, she recalled something and hesitantly uttered.
“If I haven’t remembered wrongly, because a blood weapon is purchased by a massive load of achievement points, it could also be directly sold to the realm for achievement points…..I can see that none of you should be able to employ this weapon for now, why not just exchange it for achievement points to heighten your battle capabilities? I still lack 3 achievement points to promote my ‘Skywalker Force’s’ second tier ability.”
“That’s possible?” Sheyan asked curiously. “Then how many achievement points can this big guy be exchanged for?”
Zi shook her head.
“Definitely not a full refund, but in accordance to the seller’s military rank. The higher one’s military rank, the more achievement points will one be refunded. You should be seller. Anyway if I’m not wrong, you are the one who established this Silver Prestige Party, and therefore, you are probably not a Reserve-Duty officer right?”
Sheyan chuckled and didn’t answer. Instead, he interacted with the blood weapon and attempted to utilize his military rank authority. Indeed, he then received some notifications.
[ You currently possess a single blood weapon ]
[ Determining: You are incapable of wielding this blood weapon ]
[ You can select the following actions: inquire on the detailed properties of this weapon or sell this weapon ]
Sheyan immediately investigated the selling price and soon received an answer of 37 achievement points. He then passed it to Zi, and she quickly reported that she could sell it for 26 achievement points.
As he observed this weapon, certain doubts surfaced in Sheyan’s heart. Honestly speaking, he would be able to sell this weapon back in the nightmare realm for a relatively outstanding valuation.
Even so……Sheyan thought about their current predicament. To survive in the midst of two major parties clashing, or the possible threat of an Awakener. Once someone perished, all his inheritance would simply be devoured by others.
Thinking of that, Sheyan decided to sell this blood weapon. Furthermore, according to Zi, once she could promote her military rank again, she would be able to enjoy the same privilege of purchasing a blood weapon. Thus, to Sheyan, it also wouldn’t be difficult for him to acquire a blood weapon in the future.
Hence, he gritted his teeth and acquired the 37 achievement points. Yet unexpectedly, this transaction also came with 50,000 utility points and 20 potential points. It was truly a pleasant surprise.
Out of the 37 achievement points, Sheyan gifted 3 points to Zi. Besides, she only wanted 3 points.
As for the remaining 34 points, he planned to distribute evenly among Reef and Mogensha. Instead, the two of them declined, citing that they didn’t have any outrageous ability that required an excessive amount of achievement points to breakthrough.
Thus, they suggested that Sheyan should invest them on his virus ability. After all, the deadly effects of his pestilences were already engraved deep in their hearts.Chapter 724: Base 13

At present, Sheyan almost fainted from the thrill of having so many achievement points. Right now, there were two options.
The first option was to continue advancing the level of his ‘Influenza’ virus. According to his previous experiences, since this ability was already level 7, it would soon attain max status.
The second option was to upgrade his second tier ability – ‘Bronchitis’. With the achievement points on hand, he should be able to upgrade it to level 4.
In actual fact, this tier 2 ability had already demonstrated its perversive formidability. Although its hemoptysis effect wasn’t frequent and its damage relatively low, it had already caused two unfortunate kids to cough to death thus far……one didn’t need to elaborate more on its potency.
After careful contemplations. Sheyan felt that his ‘Influenza’ virus strain ought to be the foundation for his entire skill tree of pestilences. Clenching his teeth, he proceeded to resolutely advance his tier 1 ability, ‘Influenza’.
At present, the ‘Influenza’ ability was level 7 and he didn’t expend much achievement points to raise it to level 8.
On the contrary, to raise it to level 9, it required a full 15 achievement points! This meant that without the discount due to his ‘Stairway of the Sun’ virus system, this tier 1 ability needed 30 achievement points to upgrade!!!
How horrifying was such a figure!
Nevertheless, Sheyan reaped an astonishing harvest after this horrifying expenditure. Instead of raising from level 8 to 9, it indicated lvlmax!!! Moreover, the properties underwent earth-shuddering changes.
[ Tier 1 ability: Influenza virus lvlmax ]
[ Details: Upon activating this ability, all enemies within a kilometre radius will simultaneously contract the ‘Influenza’ virus. When the HP of enemies infected by the ‘Influenza’ virus falls beneath 50%, they will become carriers of the virus, spreading the ‘Influenza’ virus to enemies within a 200 metres radius of them, even if the enemy is no longer in your contamination zone ]
[ Details: The duration till the outbreak of the ‘Influenza’ virus is now 30 seconds ]
[ Details: In intervals of 10 seconds, Infected enemies will suffer a 50% probability of sneezing (disrupts casting action/normal attacks), shivering (movement speed decline by 50% for 3 seconds) or headache (mana cost doubled when casting abilities) negative effects ]
[ Details: Whenever an enemy contracts the ‘Influenza’ virus, you will receive a 5% boost to evasion and movement speed. Duration of 15 seconds and stackable for two times]
[ Details: You can choose to close or activate this branch ability anytime. Activating or closing this ability requires 2 potential points and 1,000 utility points ]
[ Details: After the 30 seconds duration prior to an outbreak, you can now choose the timing to commence the outbreak. However, once the outbreak begins, it will be irreversible ]
[ Details: This branch ability can coexist with other virus type branch abilities ]
Sheyan proceeded to share these attributes to his party channel. While Zi couldn’t view anything, both Mogensha and Reef unanimously got a huge shock.
Evidently, the fearsomeness of the lvlmax stage of Sheyan’s ‘Influenza’ ability had surpassed their expectations. A terrifyingly vast contamination zone, shortened outbreak duration from 10 minutes (lvl 1) to merely half a minute, and an outrageous 50% chance of virus symptoms…..
Sheyan calculated his remaining achievement points, and realized there was no way for him to upgrade his ‘Bronchitis’ branch ability to level 4 at one go. Thus, he distributed the remaining achievement points evenly to Reef and Mogensha. They were both overjoyed from receiving 7 achievement points each.
To Sheyan, he was exceedingly clear that greedily devouring all meat for oneself was a primary reason for a party’s internal collapse.
The arachnid Overlord’s flying speed was fairly quick. Roughly 30 minutes later, the outline of the building that housed the ‘exploded head’ Chedeliarchos Skoa surfaced before their eyes.
The gang of four then surveyed their surroundings while seated in the Overlord.
As an arachnid Overlord didn’t have eyes, it normally perceived its surroundings through soundwaves and heat. Thus, very few concealed creatures could escape the arachnid Overlord’s detection.
“There’re people in the house.” Sheyan abruptly whispered. He placed his hand on the fleshy wall of the arachnid Overlord and shut his eyes. Soon, he could sense several heat emitting lifeforms in the abandoned building. They would occasionally budge and were evidently ‘guarding the tree-stump while waiting for rabbits’.
The gang of four then proceeded to scan the area, and confirmed there was no threat of ambush within a 10 kilometres proximity.
Following that, they flow back to the bottom of the building, and dismounted the arachnid Overlord.
With Reef and Sheyan leading the front, the gang slowly crept up the building.
To avoid any illusionary trap, Mogensha specially employed his ‘Gold Pearl of the Carribean Sea’, and coated himself with a layer of hazy fluorescent. Besides, being prepared was better than doing nothing at all.
In the end, when the contestant quartet were 20 metres away from that room, they immediately casted wry smiles at each other. This was because they could distinctly hear various sounds of grunts and roars echoing from that room, and waves of assailing fishy odour.
As it turns out, the arachnid Overlord didn’t probe out an ambush, but a pack of famished creatures who sniffed their way here following the scent of blood and rotting flesh. They were presently feasting when…..the gang charged in and swiftly butchered this pack of hyena-like creatures.
In this place permeating with the stench of rot and blood, Zi composedly begun dissecting apart the stomachs of these four hyena-like creatures.
Eventually, she found the most crucial object for the continuation of her main mission – a ruby ring that the late Chedeliarchos Skoa previously wore….this ring was the special insignia of the Chedeliarchos clan.
While wiping off the blood stains on this ring, Zi received a list of notifications. Moments later, her countenance turned increasingly downcast.
Sheyan frowned and inquired.
“Could it be that you have to deliver this ring back to the Chedeliarchos clan? Damn, I heard their territory is like a lion’s den with impenetrable walls. Going in is easy but leaving is excruciatingly difficult.”
Zi gently shook her head in response.
“No, not that harsh but not that straightforward either. This ring is the key to convincing the Chedeliarchos clan, that their outstanding paleontologist scholar, Mr Skoa, is in our hands. Therefore, we don’t have to fight in their main territory, but rather, arrange another location to conduct business with them.”
“The crux of the matter is this – what can we use in exchange for that grain of amber?”
Sheyan shrugged his shoulders and replied.
“Mr Skoa has been on the ‘plane to heaven’ for over 48 hours already. Whatever is left of him has become food for these hyenas. Nevertheless, I can offer an insight. Perhaps, we can consider the sequence of events from the cause of Mr Skoa’s death?”
Zi furrowed her brows and caressed her loose hair. This action enhanced her gorgeous countenance to a higher degree.
“But, there isn’t a single clue!”
“There is.” Sheyan smiled and continued.
“Coincidentally, I spent quite some effort in this place. Right now, we ought to find a person named Wester. Perhaps there are many individuals called Mr Wester, but I’m guessing only one or two can be called Lieutenant Colonel Wester.”
Without a doubt, Zi’s familiarity with this world wasn’t inferior to Sheyan’s familiarity with the Caribbean Sea world.
Under her guidance, the gang of four swiftly arrived at the outskirts of base thirteen, a strategic city located outside the perimeter of the dinosaur danger zone…….to be more precise, they arrived 20 kilometres away from that place.
Why 20 kilometres away from that strategic city? Of course it wasn’t because Zi lost her way, but because the arachnid Overlord was slain.
This Arachnid Overlord was exceptionally loyal to its master. Till its final moment in life, it struggled to slowly descend onto the desert.
A minute later, it rapidly decomposed, turning into air bubbles that evaporated into the atmosphere. 2-3 minutes later, only a 2-3 square metres puddle of brown stain could be seen.
Sheyan could only smile bleakly upon encountering such a situation.
He had overlooked one matter – the arachnid Overlord was similarly a lifeform and required energy replenishments. However, where would Sheyan go to locate an arachnid base or ‘creep’ carpet to feed it?
Therefore, Sheyan was currently left with a single arachnid Overlord egg, which would only be employed in the most crucial of moments.
The number ’13’ is an extremely unlucky number in the west, analogous to the number ‘7’ in China; citing an example, the hungry ghost month is also the seventh month.
Base 13 was originally a magnificent and grand military fort. Nevertheless, it was famous for its occasional ‘incidents’, where events such as fires became nothing out of the ordinary.
After dinosaurs in a region propagated to a certain extent, the amount of food available in the region would become insufficient for them. As such, the dinosaurs would strangely combine their forces and migrate. To date, the base had already experienced three waves of dinosaur migration.
Of course, each migration met with intensive resistance from the military. Nevertheless, the casualty filled dinosaur race would also momentarily escape the vicious cycle of food shortage.
As for the city of base 13, it fell during the second great dinosaur migration. After the base was repaired from the first migration, it never experienced peace anymore. Thus, nobody raised the topic of repairing this base anymore.
As for the dinosaurs, their excitement could only be instigated by edible objects. Hence, the main bulk of buildings of base 13 were preserved. As time went by, the base slowly transformed into a stopover point.
This stopover city was presently flourishing with an estimated population size of over a hundred thousand.
There was a specialty to this place. Civilians would normally take up residence in abandoned military base structures. Moreover, the base also became a storage to an astonishing amount of recreational and tow vehicles. As long as the inhabitants were willing, they could, at anytime, ride their modernized vehicles and disperse in confusion.
Furthermore, underground subway tracks had also been established and connected to this city. One could observe how accessible and convenient it was to travel to this stopover city.Chapter 725: Perfect Dinocrystal

Be it those bloodthirsty dinosaurs or government officials, they all felt an extreme headache when dealing with the organized chaos and corruption of base 13. Regardless of any efficient attempt to clean up the city, a single leakage always resulted in the dreadful and unfortunate scene of an empty city with nothing to gain.
Hence, lawlessness ran rampant in this territory.
In this place, money was everything. Nothing here was unpurchasable by merchants, and the merchants were unafraid of hoarding anything as well. The only law here was military might, adequate military might…..
Zi appeared to be fairly accustomed to his place. She first halted at a sand dune near the outskirts of base 13 city. After a brief search, she utilized her force energy to flip over a boulder.
Beneath the boulder, was a covered well. Yet upon stepping onto it, it would descend like an elevator.
Only Zi and Archeaphill was aware of this place. A secret cell where upon entry, one could view an array of close to 50 perfect dinocrystals that were glimmering majestically!
In addition to that, numerous special weapons manufactured for hunting dinosaurs could be seen. These were weapons that couldn’t be brought out of this world. Hence, they were all stored in this world.
As Zi inspected these objects, she turned vacant momentarily; probably reminiscing her dead comrade who had entered this cell with her previously….
During then, she still possessed an indomitable party, but now, she was a loner. Facing such an overwhelming contrast, one could tell how strong a woman Zi was as she refrained from shedding any tears.
Following that, she casually retrieved about 10 perfect dinocrystals and placed them into her personal storage. The next step was to bring Sheyan and the rest into base 13.
Only back in the peaceful nightmare realm, could one squander a fixed amount of utility points to remodel one’s image. Furthermore, the price of remodelling would increase with every time.
Thus, for the sake of masquerading themselves, the contestant quartet resorted to manual makeup to prevent others from recognizing them. Of course, once a fight happens, their symbolic weapons and abilities would immediately betray them.
As an expert in urban warfare, disguising himself was naturally a piece of cake for Brother Black. As for Reef, growing up in a polished culture aided him in the art of masqueration greatly.
In contrast, Sheyan was completely at a loss. His actions were clumsy as he failed in his attempts to mimic the other two in smearing substances onto his face.
While preparing to doll herself up, Zi noticed Sheyan’s procrastinating self and stormed over swift and decisively. She frowned and asked.
“What’s the matter?”
The impression she released was that of a female chairman noticing a problem in her subordinate’s work, and thus heading over to question with a deliberate flare of dignified reprimandation.
Sheyan reclined back and honestly replied.
“My apologies, this makeup stuff is tough.”
Zi sighed helplessly addressed Sheyan to sit down. She then bent over and started smearing Sheyan’s face with various substances.
Sheyan sat while Zi leaned in to help him, and the distance between them became extremely close. He immediately caught scent of a mild fragrance and obviously wasn’t aware that was the poison king perfume by Dior. He could only feel strands of allurement permeating into his inner thoughts, as the enticing fragrance blended with the bodily scent of a female.
Feeling rather unnatural at this moment, he slanted his eyes down only to notice the pristine fair skin near the chest of Zi’s stooping posture. Her fair skin was like exquisite and delicate porcelain. He could observe a milky satiny allurement swelling down into a deep crevice, as he immediately felt as though there were ants in his pants.
In contrast, Zi wasn’t aware that her scenes of springtime were being divulged. She was always incredibly meticulous in her tasks.
After dolling Sheyan up, she turned to leave. In this moment, Sheyan felt a sense of disappointment and frustration but quickly dispersed such thoughts, warning himself not get involved with such things.
Nevertheless, he could understand the main reason why Zeus was so intoxicated with Zi previously.
The desire to successfully subdue such a haughty and temperamental woman was indeed intensified out of the ordinary.
However, Sheyan firmly believed that Zi was hiding an essential secret with regards to Reef.
To a contestant, feelings and emotions would frequently be tangled up with benefits and interests.
Soon after, the gang of four peacefully slipped into the city of base 13.
While in this area, Zi would casually greet individuals along the way, resembling that of Sheyan’s familiarity with Port Royal and Tortuga port.
In this world, the trio had previously acquired some battle spoils. For example, some dinocrystals and that living boss Velociraptor. These objects were all useless to Sheyan and must be exchanged to increase their battle capabilities.
Excluding those, Brother Black was sick of employing those two trashy guns. Furthermore, the ‘Peluba Shock Rifle’ had bluntly imploded a previous battle, while the vibrations of the ‘Shamier Jolting Gun’ was starting to affect himself after using it for two times…
Under Zi’s recommendations, the gang of four rode a black coach to a particular shop. Sheyan directly offloaded his remaining dinocrystals (he gained some from those Shadowdrill Deinonychus) and that boss Velociraptor. In addition to those two trashy guns, the trio actually managed to acquire an item known as ‘Dinosaur Gene Enhancing Dosage’.
This dosage could unexpectedly be injected to receive 3 free attribute points! However, it would only be effective the first time. If used again, it would forcibly reduce basic attribute points instead.
Of course, Sheyan didn’t devour this dosage for himself. Zi generously offered two perfect dinocrystals in exchange for another two dosages. After all, the trio rescued her and should have a share of benefits as well. Still, one could tell how valuable those perfect dinocrystals were.
Theoretically speaking, perfect dinocrystals were exceptionally useful can could be described as invaluable. Although some merchants made artificial dinocrystals as well, their valuation, as compared to natural ones, was akin to the difference between heaven and earth.
At this moment, Sheyan was rather puzzled. Since there were merchants creating artificial dinocrystals, why did the price of natural dinocrystals continue inflating? Nevertheless, Zi offered a simple explanation that left him speechless.
“Since there are artificial diamonds in the real world, why is the price of natural diamonds still so exorbitant?”
The shop owner then explained to Sheyan. Artificial dinocrystals contain very limited energy. Just like batteries, they could only be utilized for trivial features. It was a far cry from the standards of natural dinocrystals that could be utilized for extensive endeavours.
The contestant quartet chatted briefly while the shop owner made a phone call. Then, an assistant left for a while before returning, and spoke to Zi in a low tone.
“Beautiful madam, the one you are seek does frequent here often. His primary business partner is the munitions dealer known as Rockzard. I reckon the latest military equipments circulating around is related to him, but it has only been 20 hours since he last visited our turf.”
Actually, Zi had harbored a doubtful attitude in gathering intelligence from this place, yet little did she expect, she actually managed to tap onto Lieutenant Colonel Wester’s trail here.
Upon hearing this information, Sheyan was stirred and muttered.
“Since he frequently smuggles such striking and bulky goods, there should be a stopover or lodging area.”
That assistant glanced at Sheyan but remained silent. Zi then tossed a tiny dinocrystal to him, where he finally whispered with a quick tone.
“If you’re looking for Lieutenant Colonel Wester, the package room is definitely in one of Old Hyenna’s motel.”
Sheyan looked down and indifferently suggested.
“I guess it’s time we pay a visit to that place.”
Zi nodded and replied.
“Then what’re we still waiting for?”
In reality, Old Hyena wasn’t an old man, but a thin and bald male. Sporadic bushes of hair scattered throughout his oily and shiny bald head, like stars cupping around the moon. Logically speaking, he should’ve gotten a shave, but instead, he sorely cherished every strand of hair that was left. Perhaps, it was a fetish for hair. One could simply imagine his appearance, a truly unforgettable appearance.
Furthermore, it wasn’t only his comedic exterior. Even his style was equally striking, and practically seem like an old, famished and greedy hyena. Once there was benefits to be gained, he would spare no effort to pounce forward.
When the gang of four spotted Old Hyena, he was presently dozing off serenely on the motel’s reception desk.
After the gang strolled to his front, Old Hyena unexpectedly remained asleep. The annoyed Reef then impatiently nudged him slightly.
To his surprise, Old Hyena simply slumped to the ground. His twisted neck immediately indicated he was a dead man!
Noticing this scene, Brother Black reflexively retreated many steps back and quietly vanished into a dark corner. As a marksman, he definitely couldn’t reveal himself openly to his opponents. The only way to determine a marksman’s position, was by analyzing the direction and timing of his bullets.
On the contrary, Zi snorted and trudged into the motel before the rest. Although she was a mage type Growth-Hunter, she never feared engaging in close combat with her foes.
In spite of that, Reef quickly sprinted ahead of her as he stayed true to his calling as an MT.
