Chapter 621
Asgard’s condition might be critical at the very moment, but the earth was also in danger. So, after informing everyone about Thor’s situation, Dio took Galaxy and left for Sakaar with the Dark Battleship. Before he left, Dio left behind two snails, each on Wanda and Steve’s hand.
The little snail was still proven to be useful even though it was his first Pet that became a Stand user. Its communication ability was like no other, so there was no need to replace it with anything else! Dio’s experiment on Galaxy earlier was still in progress, but as soon as Dio knew that feeding the Hamon Beads to Galaxy really enhanced its Stand Ability greatly, Dio would also feed it to the little snail later.
Dark Battleship zoomed on the space without any obstruction. It had an enviable speed among the spaceships that currently ventured the space out there, but it was still not as fast as the Bifrost that belonged to Asgard! Dio thought about it for a while and decided to go to Asgard first before looking for Thor. It was way closer than going directly to Sakaar, and Dio also wanted to know what happened there!
Furthermore, Dio was confident with the Dark Elf’s stealth technology as not even Heimdall could see through their stealth technology! Knowing that Hela was more of a warrior than a perceptive kind of individual, Dio knew that Dark Battleship wouldn’t be found!
Once he got to Asgard, Dio ordered the Dark Elf to keep their speed as slow as possible and their altitude as close to the ground as they could get because he wanted to see what happened up close. During his short stay, Dio saw countless corpses on the street and in some random place. Clearly, these people denied Hela’s claim to the throne and had to experience the dictatorship and violence that came with doing so!
It was a very simple choice, either support her claim as the Queen of Asgard or die!
Dio immediately left after seeing all of it, and the Dark Elf immediately input the coordinate for Sakaar! If he couldn’t find Thor or Loki on Sakaar, Dio had no choice but to wait for Thor to call for Heimdall or any other information as it was impossible to determine where the void to them! Dio also left Heimdall some message that said he would definitely be back, so Dio could only hope that the remaining force of Asgard didn’t do anything reckless and waited for their time to be rescued!
. . . . . . . . . . . .
At the same time, Thor woke up and felt that the flow of time on the planet that he was in was very different from any other place that he had been in. Luckily, he met with Scrapper 142, or Valkyrie! But sadly for Thor, the ruthless woman sold him to The Grandmaster!
“You might be a significant figure in the past, but unfortunately for you, everything in this place is owned by the Grandmaster! Congratulations, you will meet him in five seconds!” Valkyrie said coldly. Thor coughed as he wanted to answer, but sadly, the Valkyrie’s electric shock earlier caused his throat to dry up, making it hard for Thor to talk.
He entered the room with huge glasses, and inside he saw many lizard folks and in the middle of it all, an old man and a female soldier with a frown on her face. Valkyrie immediately made Thor sit on a chair in the corner of the room before walking back and stood beside the female soldier.
“Well, good to see you here, Scrapper 142!” The Grandmaster said as he turned his gaze towards Valkyrie.
“Good to see you too, Grandmaster!” Valkyrie replied with a smile. But Thor was clearly confused by what was happening right now and tried to break free from his restrain.
“You make me very happy every time you visit. Whatever it is that you bring, always turn out to be the best! Topaz! We need to give Scrapper 142 a new nickname, shouldn’t we?” Grandmaster said as he turned his attention to the burly Female Soldier on Valkyrie’s side.
“Garbage!” Topaz said indifferently.
“No, are you trying to insult her? Try another one!” Grandmaster said casually.
“Drunkard!” Topaz said indifferently. Valkyrie immediately rolled her eyes as she couldn’t bother to care about this farce.
“Sorry, but all I’m trying to say is you are the best scrapper that I have! The champion that you bring earlier turns out to be the best, even better than the other two before him!” Grandmaster said with a smirk on his face. “But now, who do we have here? Who did you bring me today?” Grandmaster said as he turned his gaze to Thor.
“Future champion, probably!” Valkyrie said indifferently.
This way, the story progressed without a hitch as Thor was sold for 10 million Stars. He even got a new title from Grandmaster, Little Spark! But well, the nickname was given by the Grandmaster himself!
. . . . . . . . . . .
After being locked inside the gladiator’s lounge, Thor tried everything he could to break out of the room, but he couldn’t do anything. It was at the time like this Thor hoped that Mjolnir was still with him as now he couldn’t even gather enough power to discharge a thunder now!
“Hey, relax, look! This pile of stone is greeting you! My name is Korg, and this here is my friend Miek. But sadly, he seems unable to speak!” Korg said to gain Thor’s attention.
“Are you a Kronan Soldier?” Thor asked curiously.
“Yes,” Korg answered indifferently.
“How did you get here?” Thor asked curiously.
“Oh, that is a long story!” Korg said without a change of expression. He then started to talk about his background to Thor, not leaving any detail behind! Meanwhile, Thor got annoyed halfway and walked away from them, treading the room that looked like a donut back and forth.
“Have you participated in the Grandmaster’s Championship?” Thor asked as he realised that he wouldn’t be able to do anything here.
“Doug did,” Korg said indifferently.
“Oh, so where is Doug?” Thor asked curiously.
“Doug is dead. In fact, everyone that participated in that championship was dead!” Korg said indifferently.
“But there is an exception,” Korg said as he remembered something.
“What exception, who is it?” Thor asked curiously.
“A long time ago, contenders killed the previous champion, and they slaughtered every powerful fighter that the Grandmaster has,” Korg said indifferently.
“They?” Thor said confusedly.
“Yes, they! The challenger was a man and a woman. They made a great combination. The legend of the phoenix team!” Korg said indifferently.
