“What did that Dark Crystal Sect want to do on that planet?” Carol wondered to herself. She didn’t understand why such a low-profile sect suddenly took control over several planets like this. She didn’t want anything to do with it at first, but after rescuing a believer of the Dark Crystal Sect, she was confused as it was weird! What was the dark crystal sect trying to do?”
The news that Carol came to inquire about this time was about the dark crystal sect that suddenly emerged recently. Upon interrogation of the said believer that she rescued earlier, she found out that a large number of believers had been turned into a living weapon and sold into the black market!
These believers that have been turned into a living weapon didn’t know fear at all! They would follow their orders until they finished it, or they would die trying! Despite their average combat prowess, their number was way too big to ignore!
Various planets have gotten their hands on this Living Weapon as they saw potential on these people, for they were expendables! If they went to war, they could use this Living Weapon to cull out the enemy’s number before attacking with their real armies.
With these Living Weapons on the frontline, they could think of a better strategy to win the war. The believer that Carol just rescued was one who found out the truth about the goddess that he served. He was so scared to be made into one of those Living Weapons that he ran away and got into trouble before Carol saved him.
The believer was brainwashed to do the goddess’ biddings. It was a simple task as the believer really believed in the power of the goddess! No wonder the Dark Crystal Sect could develop so fast after getting money from selling its own believer to the black market like this! But one thing that baffled Carol was how could the Empires and massive forces out there tolerate Dark Crystal Sect’s doing? No one would want another superpower to be born this easily, right?
Carol even wondered why the superpower and empires out there even wanted to buy the living weapons from the Dark Crystal Sect when they could just take it by force! It was not like these empires would lose against a no-name sect like this.
But now she finally understood that the sect had another superpower that was backing them up! These superpowers that the sect was leaning towards must have a very high standing that other superpowers couldn’t afford to lay a hand on them!
Carol began to wonder who it might be that could silence the universe to let him do whatever he wanted. The one that could make the entire universe watch as Dark Crystal Sect amassed its power! The one that the strong empires and well-known groups out there didn’t dare to provoke.
Carol couldn’t tell right away as she frowned, deep in her thought. She knew that there was a balance of power in the universe to make sure that no one attacked each other and caused chaos. She knew that most of these living weapons were people that came from a destroyed empire. It was so sad to see so many people who didn’t have a place to go like this exploited their own savior.
She was determined to maintain the law and order of the universe, and thus she wanted to help these people get the justice they deserved. What the Dark Crystal Sect did was unforgivable! It was even worse than destroying a planet!
She would make sure that the Dark Crystal Sect would go under soon, no matter who might be backing them up!
In fact, she already devised some plan to destroy the Dark Crystal Sect and revealed whoever was behind all of this.
She would sabotage their business and everything else to the point where the Dark Crystal Sect wouldn’t have any other choice but to stop making the living weapon again!
It may be difficult to do all of it alone, but she wasn’t afraid of some challenge!
Right before she was about to plan her attack at Dark Crystal Sect, she got a call from Dio! Carol smirked as she was relieved that a call from someone that she could trust had come.
“There ought to be something mighty fine if this guy is contacting me!” Carol said with a smirk still plastered on her face.
She checked her phone, but it wasn’t a call, but just a message. She read the message immediately and cursed under her breath frustratedly. She hasn’t heard anything from Dio in a long time, and the first thing she heard from him was Dio asking her for a favour?
She couldn’t help but think that Dio was too outrageous! Who did he think he was?
“I am too busy for this shit!” Carol said frustratedly. As much as she wanted to write those words and sent them to Dio, she wondered for a while and sighed to herself. “This bastard, this is it! No more favour for this guy! This is the last time I will do something for you! For the sake of friendship, I will do this one!” Carol said to herself annoyedly.
She thought that Dio’s request was quite docile, so she thought that it wouldn’t take that much of her time anyway. Furthermore, Hamon Planet wasn’t too far from her current location. She just needed to save Dio’s planet and make him owe her!
Carol thought it would be great to have someone in such a calibre owed her. Surely it would be good for the future! After sighing once more, Carol opened her navigator and set Hamon Planet coordinates in there before quickly taking off towards Hamon Planet.
She didn’t know what kind of surprise awaited her in Hamon Planet!
