Dio’s course of action came off as a shock to Mephisto as he fought against Robbie. He wasn’t at his full power here on Earth as the other two Sanctuaries remained standing. Furthermore, without the help of Hell territory under his feet right now, he wouldn’t be able to fight this many heroes properly. Even now, he was having a rough time fighting against the Ghost Rider that he thought wouldn’t be able to use the Spirit of Vengeance that well.
But after discovering the fact that Dio could reap the soul from the Serpentine Door, he wasn’t sure his plan would succeed! He never expected someone with the power to manipulate souls would exist in Human World!
Mephisto then punched Robbie in the face, knocking Robbie back several feet. Then Mephisto pointed his finger at Dio and shot a small fireball that was fired at the speed of sound from the tip of his finger!
Dio that was busy harvesting the demon’s souls didn’t forget about Mephisto at all. After knowing that Mephisto pointed his fingers towards him, Dio immediately felt a sense of crisis and created a wall of ice between him and Mephisto without hesitation! Mephisto immediately pulled out the sword from his body and immediately regenerated, but the wound left behind a mark on his body even after he regenerated. At that moment, Robbie knew that his sword was somehow useful as Mephisto couldn’t fully heal his wound!
“Don’t think highly of yourself just yet, you parasite! I am the one who gave you that sword. How did you think I got it in the first place?” Mephisto said sarcastically before punching Robbie’s face once more. Mephisto immediately broke free from the chain that wrapped around his neck.
At the same time, Robbie was frozen still as he never thought of the origin of the sword. Surely, he was overestimating himself when he thought that he could defeat Mephisto here.
“I have killed a real angel before, and I lose count on many times I have done it! A half-angel like you wouldn’t be a challenge! Feel free to be proud of yourself to ever wound me, but don’t expect to win here! I will make you suffer and feel that you’d beg I kill you soon enough!” Mephisto said coldly.
However, Robbie wasn’t yet to give up! He saw a car nearby and immediately leaped over and demonized the car and turned it into a flying car! A Ghost Rider’s potential was on its ride, and without it, the Ghost Rider wasn’t on its full power just yet! Robbie immediately used his ability to create a clone of himself on the car and immediately drove the car towards Mephisto!
“Impudent cretin!” Mephisto shouted annoyedly.
“That bastard! being so reckless!” Dio said as he saw Robbie driving the car towards Mephisto. He knew that it wouldn’t work as they had to weaken Mephisto first if they wanted to defeat him! With that said, Dio immediately used a huge amount of Hamon Energy and activated Ice Age once more!
The Hell Sand froze once more, impeding their progress on taking over the land of Earth, and Mephisto that hasn’t moved an inch from his position since the beginning of the battle, was also frozen solid because of Dio’s ability!
Seeing that Mephisto couldn’t move at the moment, Robbie roared with joy and immediately sped up to ram Mephisto with his car! As he rammed Mephisto’s huge body, Robbie and his clone demonized the chain in their hand and created two Hell Spear and aimed it at Mephisto’s heart and head!
But just before Mephisto got rammed by the Ghost Rider’s car, his hands broke free from the ice and he immediately stopped the car and hurled it into the air while capturing Robbie with his other hand. He then broke the ice that restrained his movement and held Robbie’s neck in his hand.
“I already gave you a chance, but you ignored it willingly! So, enjoy the pain!” Mephisto said coldly, and Robbie screamed immediately after! Mephisto took control of Robbie’s soul and played around with it. There was no creature in the universe that was as experienced as Mephisto when it came to playing with souls!
Mephisto began torturing Robbie that has annoyed him multiple times in this battle, and from Robbie’s scream, it was clear that he couldn’t withstand Mephisto’s torture.
At the same time, Robbie felt that his souls were pierced by thousands of needles before being thrown into a pan and fried whole! The pain that he felt almost made him unable to maintain his Ghost Rider’s form. Even though he was really tough, he couldn’t withstand the damage directly to his soul, but nobody would be able to withstand any damage to their souls to begin with!
“Dance of the Red Scythe!” Dio shouted as he came to Mephisto with his scythe in tow.
He successfully interrupted whatever Mephisto was doing to Robbie, but Dio failed to cut through Mephisto’s flesh!
