Penny again spoke of Oscar’s relationship, she knew Oscar did not want to mention it, but she was
concerned about it.

“She left soon after you came and she came to me with infusion stand.”



Penny said, but she had a good attitude now.

“Why she got infusion?”

Oscar was surprised to hear that.

“I don’t know. Go and see her, I think she is still here.”

She asked Oscar to leave, so that he could stop being upset.

Penny believed that Oscar would think about her words when he was alone.

“Ok, I go and see her. You have some rest. I will come to you again when I have time.”

Then he left and made a call to Winnie. Knowing that she was in the infusion room, he went
downstairs.

“What is wrong with you? You don’t look well.”

Oscar was worried about her and confused that Winnie did not go to Kevin’s hospital.

“I drank too much last night and I felt sick when I got up and I vomited, so I came to see a doctor.

The doctor said infusion could make be feel better soon, and I have works to do in the afternoon, so I
got the infusion.”

Winnie explained, she did not want to worry Oscar.

“Why do you come to this hospital?”

Oscar asked.



“I want to see Penny.”

It was true, because she was worried about Penny.

“Penny did harm to you, but you still care about her.”

Oscar felt that Winnie was kind, if Penny was as kind as Winnie, she would not come to this end.

“It is the past, and she was sick, how can I mind it?”

Winnie did not think she was kind, but she could not be cruel to Penny since she was close to death.

“Did she say anything bad to you?”

Oscar understood Winnie’s mood, not matter how much resentment Penny had, she did not have much

Winnie could forgive Penny’s harsh words, but she could not say those words, it meant that her life had
ended.

“I went to see her and she did say something bad. I don’t why she became lie this. If she were not sick,
I would have scolded her.”

Oscar said angrily, making sure that Winnie would mind it.

He thought that Penny should think Winnie, if it were other women, she would have died.

“It is expected, when you called me, I knew she must have scolded me. It doesn’t matter and you don’t
need to be angry. We don’t have ability to change her. And she is close to death, she can do anything
bad.”



Winnie preferred that Penny could live a few days longer if she was scolded.

What could Oscar say? Since Winnie did not care about it, he could no longer be angry.

He felt into silence and then a question occurred to his mind.

“You did not drink much last night, why did you need infusion?”

If he remembered right, she was sober when he sent her home and she did not drink too much.

Winnie was silent. Looking at him, she did not know if she should tell him the truth, for fear that he
would be worried.

“I went to drink more after you left last night, so I got like this.”

Winnie pretended to be carefree, so that Oscar would not be so worried.

“With who?”

Oscar was confused.

“Brian.”

Winnie did not want to say that, because she remembered everything last night.

She drank a lot, but she did remember what happened last night. She thought she would forget it, but
she did not.

“Why did he come to you? Did he make it hard for you?”

“No, but we have something to talk about, and I could not help but drink.”

“I will not drink too much again. It is too painful, after a night, my stomach still hurts.”



Winnie said in an easy tone, but she was bitter in heart.

“Did you make it clear?”

Oscar could understand that she needed to release when she was sad, but she chose alcohol.

She vomited all night last night, so she was sleepy now and she soon felt asleep.

Brian saw her back and went to her office after a moment of hesitation.



He wanted to talk with her about the kids, only to find that she had fallen asleep in the break room.

He sat silently next to her, looking at her, who was frowning and covering her stomach.

She did not look well and did not have a sound sleep. Brian wanted to hold her in arms so that she
could sleep well, but he could not do that, because he decided to marry Gloria.

He loved deeply this woman and had been fighting for her, but he was so disappointed at her.

Stefan had been worrying about Winnie, so he came to Caro at noon.

“When did you come back?”

Caro was surprised to see Stefan in her office when she was back from lunch.

“It’s been days. It is not the first time I came, why so surprised?”

Stefan said and did not think much about Caro’s reaction.

“I had something to tell you, but you are not around. And you had not contacted me, you did not know
what happened.”

Caro said as she sat on her chair and then she took out a paper bag with money in it.

She threw it on the desk, which caused Stefan.

“What is this? What do you want to say?”
