Winnie did not understand that why Emily was not with Leo.

“Her relatives are back and my relatives are back, so we decided to stay at home separately.”

Leo did not want to lie to Winnie, but since he had lied to her, he did not want it to be exposed so soon.

parents too. But you should visit her family.”

text.

She was satisfied, though it was late.

And that was why she gave a bitter smile just now.

As she was to reply, Brian sent another message.

“Happy new year, Winnie. You are the first person I said happy new year.”

Seeing that, Winnie felt touched.

She got tears in eyes, everyone could say that, but the person was important.

“Happy new year!”

Winnie replied. She hoped he could be happy forever.

Brian did not expect that Winnie would reply, he thought she had fallen asleep or was busy.

He could say happy new year to her in the next day, but he kept thinking about it, so he sent the
message.

Seeing that she replied, he was excited and replied.

“You are up. Where are you?”

“In the hotel, Megan has fallen asleep and I just lied down on bed.”

Winnie replied. There were fireworks outside, but Winnie was quiet.



“Are you going to sleep now? Are you sleepy and tired?”

Hearing that she had lied down on bed, he thought Winnie must be tired and did not want to bother her.

“Yes, I am tired.”

Winnie was indeed tired after a busy day.

She had many relatives and she had not place to rest. She felt that she had interrupted the peace of
her relatives, she was tired mentally and physically.

Looking at the message, she was disappointed, she wanted to chat with Brain even if she was tired.

Winnie said and then tuned off the phone before she went to bed.

But he was waken up a nightmare.

At 10 in the morning, he woke up by a nightmare. He sat on the bed in disbelief.

It was the same dream. The car did not run over him, and he was pushed away. So there was another
person in the dream.

Who was she? Brian tried to remember the woman he saw in the dream, yes, he was sure it was a
woman.

He saw her back, which looked familiar, but he could not figure out where he had met her.

As he was trying to recall that, Luke opened the door and walked in.



“Why don’t you sleep more?”

Brian asked with concern.

“Daddy, I miss Mommy.”

Luke said and walked to the bed.

Brian felt sorry to hear that.

He picked Luke up and let him sit on his legs.

“I miss Mommy too. What should we do?”

Brian asked.

“Book a ticket to Mommy and ask her to come back now.”

Luke said. He could not have a sound sleep without Mommy around.

“But Mommy is on vacation, she should take rest. Who about this?”

They made a plan.

Megan and Winnie was in sleep, and did not wake up till noon probably they were tired and no one was
there to interrupt them.

Then Winnie took Megan to have lunch in relative’s home. There were more people to have lunch, her
relative’s daughter and daughter-in-law were back.

So the house became crowded.

Winnie was busy as yesterday, though her relative asked her to take a rest, she felt she should help.



After lunch, Megan said she was sleepy. To make her have a better sleep, Winnie took her back to the
hotel.

As Megan was sleeping, Winnie began to reply the messages.

Then she heard the door bell rang. She thought it was Venessa and was afraid that Megan would wake
up, so she hurried to open the door.

But it was two men.

Looking at Luke and Brian, Winnie was surprised, feeling like a daydream.

It was the new year and they should be with Chairman, why were they there?

“Mommy, what are you looking at? I am your son.”

Luke said excitedly and hugged Winnie.

“You…”

“Why are we here, right?”

Brian said with a smile. He knew Winnie did not expect that.

“Yes, why don’t you stay at home?”

Winnie was confused.

“Daddy and I miss you and Megan, so we are here.”

Luke answered.



“How about your family?”

Winnie asked with concern.

“Can you let me go in first? I want to see Megan.”

Brian said.

Winnie let them in and reminded them that Megan was sleeping.

Brian walked to the bedside lightly, looking at Megan who was sleeping, he kissed on her face.

But it woke Megan up.

As Megan opened her eyes, she saw Daddy, and hugged him immediately.

“Daddy, it is Daddy.”

Megan was happy to see him.

“And me, I am here to see you too.”

Luke said with jealousy. He got to the bed and said.

Megan let go of Brian and hugged Luke. She felt she was the happiest at this moment, because Daddy
and brother were around.

They were excited.

“Daddy, are you here to spend new year with us?”

Megan sat in the arms of Brian.



“Yes, I could not stay with you yesterday, so I came today.”

Brian kissed on Megan’s hair with love in his eyes.

“How did you get here, it is hard to buy tickets. Does your family know you are here?”

Winnie asked. She promised Chairman that she would spend new year in the Bennet family, but if
Brian was here, it had no difference. If the Chairman knew that, she would be blamed.

“Yes, we got out after dinner with Grandpa. I lied to him that I took Luke to suburbs to sleep and told
him that we would not have dinner with him, and we came here.”

Brian explained, but Winnie was surprised.

“And you arrived so soon?”

Winnie felt incredible. It took two hours to be here by plane and it was hard to get a ticket.

“Daddy drove a plane, sure it is fast.”
