Chapter 1211: Lin Yuan Changed Into a Mermaid!
Lin Yuan had pondered the link between source-type items and the dimensional world ever since he first found out that source-type items came from the dimensional hub.
The main world had never been able to come up with an accurate answer to this question.
Lin Yuan had even intentionally asked the Moon Empress about this when he first became her disciple. But all she did was smile and go on to explain the relationship between the dimensional hub and the dimensional world.
He did not know if the Moon Empress was unsure of the answer or if she felt that he had been so weak that there was no need for him to learn such knowledge.
This question had always troubled Lin Yuan.
At first, he had only been curious about the relationship between the dimensional world and source-type items.
But after he found out that sacred source lifeforms came from Class 5 dimensional rifts and that every sacred source lifeform possessed astonishing powers, he developed a burning desire to know everything about sacred source lifeforms and the dimensional world.
He had just witnessed White Speak kill the Dark Scorpion. The dead Dark Scorpion’s totem had lit up with rainbow light and transformed into a sacred source lifeform.
Now, Lin Yuan finally knew how sacred source lifeforms came about, as well as the relationship between sacred source lifeforms and the dimensional world.
Apparently, sacred source lifeforms came from the totems of dead Apostles.
However, Lin Yuan did not know if the strength of the Apostle’s faith power when it was still alive had anything to do with the formation of the sacred source lifeform. He would have to look into this matter more.
Another question had arisen in Lin Yuan’s mind as he watched the fight between the Dark Scorpion and White Speak.
The hole in Dark Scorpion’s neck had not released a significant amount of faith power. In fact, it had been less than 1% of the amount of faith power stored in the shrine in the depths of Lin Yuan’s soul.
Lin Yuan started to ponder this point of confusion, and he quickly came up with an extremely likely answer.
He currently had three Apostles, Rising Lizard, Wendy, and the White Evil Marsh Crocodile.
1...
Lin Yuan knew that Apostles needed to use some of their faith power in order to use their totems to accept believers. It was only after the Apostle accepted the believer that they would be able to draw faith power from the believer.
They also needed to use the faith power in the totems to change select believers into Favored Believers.
As such, Apostles needed to carefully plan before they decided to accept any believers or change believers into Favored Believers.
Hence, although the Dark Scorpion’s faith power had reached below average and had unlocked its source sacred body, it did not have many believers and Favored Believers.
On the other hand, due to Lin Yuan’s presence on Star Web when he was in the Radiance Federation, he could easily gain the admiration and adoration of others which would all turn into faith that would be stored in the shrine in the depths of his soul.
Moreover, he had many identities. Firstly, the combat-class spirit qi professional Black. Secondly, the Moon Empress’ disciple Lin Yuan. Next, the owner of Purchase With No Loss store Deep Mountain Elder Lin. Finally, the City Lord of Sky City.
1
All four identities had their own fan club.
Although most of the fans in Black’s fan club were male fans who imitated female fans’ speaking style, the faith power they contributed was very pure.
1
All four of his identities drew a staggering amount of faith power in the extremely populated Radiance Federation.
This meant that not even 100 Dark Scorpions could match up to the power of the faith power he possessed.
Only two types of power mattered in the dimensional world, source-type power and faith power.
Lin Yuan was able to wield both of these powers.
Thus, there was no way he could not pass off as a Master.
The Dark Scorpion’s totem shot toward the sky but was caught by White Speak in midair.
White Speak flapped its sleeve and stored the sacred source lifeform inside its sleeve before turning its gaze onto the Invisible Demon.
White Speak wanted to see what ignorant creature dared to release its aura during its fight.
However, White Speak spotted the broken white scales by Lin Yuan’s feet.
White Speak’s face fell, and its fury boiled over. Self-reproach and sadness were all also present on its frowning face.
The cloud that swirled around White Speak also started to cry as rain poured down.
White Speak had not used much faith power from the hole above its left eye during its fight with the Dark Scorpion.
But now, faith power was pouring forth from the hole above its left eye.
The pressure from the faith power shattered the shield that the Invisible Demon had formed with its aura.
In order to protect the lives of the lifeforms in the territory, Lin Yuan had to hold his ground against the might of White Speak’s faith power.
Suddenly, he remembered Dark Blue, which had been in the Spirit Lock spatial zone all this time absorbing heavenly-maiden-grade elemental pearls.
By now, Dark Blue should have reached pinnacle Gold grade.
Dark Blue’s Faith Application would allow him to fuse with Dark Blue and make use of all of Dark Blue’s strength.
He would also be able to inject the faith power within the shrine into the Moving Source Water to strengthen its abilities.
Essentially, once he fused with Dark Blue, he would turn into water. He would not have to be worried about physical attacks in the liquid form.
Lin Yuan did not care that he would also change into a female mermaid once he used Faith Application.
In order to prevent White Speak from becoming aware of the truth, he did not summon Dark Blue out.
Instead, he entered the Spirit Lock spatial zone himself and used Faith Application with Dark Blue while in the Spirit Lock spatial zone.
Lin Yuan appeared next to the Invisible Demon again with Faith Application activated in less than a second.
However, no one recognized this being as Lin Yuan.
A body wrapped in tens of thousands of faith stood in Lin Yuan’s place.
This being seemed to encompass every type of faith of every creature in the world.
A slender blue fishtail gently swished the amber waters of faith power.
The flowing faith power moved upward from the fishtail and weaved itself into a faith sacred garment.
