Mirror Soul Chapter 40 The best feeling ever

Kendra went home feeling excited and full of hope. She was lying on her bed. She said to herself while
staring at the ceiling wall until she fell asleep.

"This is it!!! My dream will definitely come true.

The next day morning, Kendra met Eunice at their meeting place and both happily going to the agency
where Kendra took 4 hours and the interviewer said.

"Ms. Kendra Clark, you are hired. See you in Dubai after 2 weeks."

When Eunice saw Kendra smiling at her and hugged her.

"This is it!!! I am going to Dubai after 2 weeks. This is the best feeling ever in my life. Thank you Eunice
for bringing me here. I am super excited. Did you get your ticket already?"

"Aha..yes!! Can you finish submitting all the requirements needed this week?"

"Oh, yes! There is no problem with that."

"What about your job here?Did your boss know about this?"

"Of course not! I may inform them today."

"Is it okay to leave your job immediately?"

"There is nothing they can do. I know they will understand me."

"If that is the case, let us go now to your office place and after submitting your resignation letter, let us
celebrate."

"Wait a minute, where are we going to celebrate?"



"There is a new pub near your workplace. Surely, you will like it."

"I do not know that. I am not a party goer Eunice but since I am an adventurous and explorer of new
places, I will surely go to that place. I am so curious about the new pub you were saying."

Eunice and Kendra happily going out of the agency. Kendra went to her office to submit her resignation
letter and Eunice was sitting on the waiting area. It was 7pm.

"You surprised us Ms. Kendra. Are you sure you want to leave your job today?"

"Yes, Boss!I am sorry that I did not take a month resignation. I will be flying out of the country after 2
weeks and I do not have much time to continue more to work here."

"Can you stay more longer until we hire a new one for your position?"

"I am really sorry boss that I cannot stay anymore days. I only have 2 weeks. I have to prepare lots of
things."

"If I can not stop you, then I sign your resignation letter now."

"Thank you Boss for your understanding."

"I know that traveling is one of your dream. Go for it and never give up. Thank you for your year months
of service in our company."

Kendra smilingly shook her boss hand. She left the office bidding a goodbye to each every staff in the
company.

"So, where are we going now Eunice?"

"A new pub near here?Let's celebrate!!!!"



Eunice and Kendra went to the new pub as they celebrate Kendra's new job abroad. Both were
drinking until both got drunk and having fun dancing.

"This is the best feeling ever Eunice. Thank you and I love you."

"I am glad that your dream will come true soon once you go to Dubai."

"Yes, I know it will definitely come true because there is no dream coming true. All dreams and goals
are coming true."

"You really have a strong spirit and faith that is what I like from you Kendra."

2 men went closer to Eunice and Kendra.

"May I join you 2 ladies?"

"Oh my god, you guys are so handsome. You sit here beside me. I am Eunice and this is Kendra."

"We have some friends coming. Sorry guys, my friend is just drunk. You may both leave!"

"What are you doing Kendra?Do not let these handsome guys go!! Have a true fun tonight."

The 2 handsome men sitted and joined Eunice and Kendra's table. One man flirted Kendra.

"I have to go Eunice. I got suddenly a severe headache and I have lots of things to do tomorrow. I have
to wake up early."

"Stop making excuses Kendra. Let us have fun with these 2 handsome guys. You stay more. Here,
drink more."

"Let us go Eunice! It is getting hotter and hotter here."



"You stay more longer woman. Don't you want to have a one night?"

"Oh..gross! No no no...I have to leave now. I cannot breathe here."

Kendra suddenly stood up and left the 2 men and Eunice.

"Where are you going Kendra? You are not kid anymore."

The 2 men were drunk and kissed Eunice as the 3 were having fun kissing. Kendra looked back again
and saw Eunice having fun with the 2 men. Kendra could not take to leave Eunice with the 2 men.
Kendra went back again to their table and grabbed Eunice hand.

"Sorry guys let us have fun nextime. I have to get my girl friend now. Thanks for tonight."

Kendra took Eunice out of the pub and saw a taxi.

"Where are we going? I do not want to go home yet. Let us stay more longer Kendra please."

"No, Eunice we have to go home. You dont know what you are doing. You are so drunk."

Kendra forcedly brought Eunice inside of the taxi.

"We are here now at your home. Where are your parents?"

"I am living here alone. Did I not tell you?My parents?Let us not talk about it."

Kendra saw from Eunice eyes and felt how sad she was. Kendra felt how Eunice felt so empty inside
despite of her success working abroad and the big house she had.

"Where is your room? Is this your room? Wow..it is so big."



"Yes,yes yes!!! The result of my hard-working for so many years and here it is..My big house but
empty."

Eunice started to become emotional and laughing out loud.

"You better take a sleep now."

"Thank you Kendra for bringing me home and see you in Dubai."

Kendra saw how sad Eunice was despite of her having a big house. She said to herself that she will
never be like Eunice. Her true dreams and goals are the most important in her life that she knew would
make her feel truly happy and fulfilled.

countries in the world.

"This is it! I could finally go to the country where the opportunity that I could work for the airline
company and travel all the countries in the world."
