Yun Shen had yet to finish when a swoosh was heard.
Mo Bei threw the umbrella. Reaching out, she grabbed the person who had been hiding behind the wall and filming with her cell phone.
Her hand gripped the back of the person’s collar tightly. There was still a dull pain in her lower abdomen, so her lips were still colorless. Nevertheless, once she moved, she wouldn’t let anyone get away.
“What were you filming?” Mo Bei lowered her voice.
The person in question was rather young. If one saw her amongst a crowd, they would think that she didn’t have a malicious appearance. Instead, she looked just like the average person. There was nothing different about her..
“What, what was I filming? That’s ridiculous!” The girl pushed up the spectacles on her face.
Mo Bei pushed her hand lower and shot a look at her cell phone screen. “Ridiculous?”
The girl snickered. “So what if I filmed something? Yun Shen is an actress. Isn’t she used to being filmed all the time? On the contrary, although it’s so early, she’s walking out of the place where you are staying. There seems to be too much going on between you two. Be more courteous if you don’t want me to post all that stuff. The two of you have a fair share of scandals.”
Yun Shen did not want Mo Bei to encounter such a thing, yet one couldn’t always get what one wanted. She’d just stretched out a hand, ready to hold Mo Bei’s wrist, when she heard that person’s cold voice. “How did you know that she came from the place where I’m staying?”
The girl’s eyes flashed. “You aren’t staying here?”
“You even know that I’m staying here?” Mo Bei’s eyes were slightly icy. “Have you investigated before? Or stalked us? Regardless of what it is you were doing, it doesn’t sound like the way you put it.”
The girl started laughing. “Why, are you threatening me?”
Mo Bei did not go on. She directly took out her phone and dialed the police.
The girl then panicked. “You’re calling the police? Are you trying to blow this up? Aren’t you scared of your photos being…”
“I’m not scared.” Mo Bei’s voice was very low. “What’s there to fear about this? We’re dating normally, but do the people around you know that you harbor evil intentions?”
It seemed like the girl was set on fire at once. “A piece of trash like you still has the face to say that I harbor evil intentions? You and Yun Shen… A personality so terrible that it’s abhorring, and someone that has been a bar girl countless times. People like you guys are actually still liked. I really ought to reveal your true colors for everyone to see.”
“Finished?” Mo Bei looked away, picking up the umbrella on the floor and handing it to Yun Shen. “Go first. You still have to get to the airport.”
Yun Shen was really worried. How could she leave?
Mo Bei looked at her. “If you’re worried, leave your assistant behind. Are you going to delay filming over such a person?”
Yun Shen knew that ever since they were young, she’d always been like this. She’d always helped her resolve any issues.
She made a call and both her manager and assistant came.
Her assistant was a man, so he essentially understood what was going on with one look.
The manager kept thanking Mo Bei the whole time. She was relieved upon hearing that the cops had been called.
Perhaps they ought to have called the cops long ago, just to make it public.
The follow-up procedure was handled by Mo Bei and the assistant.
At the police station, the girl said that she simply didn’t like Yun Shen and had taken two photos to post them. What was wrong with that? There was no mention of the stalking at all.
Such a case wasn’t easy to handle.
Without the insistence of the person who reported the case, nothing could be discovered.
However, Mo Bei was Mo Bei after all. After several confrontations, the girl slipped up and was detained for more than a week. There was also a fine and the likes of it.
The girl was truly exasperated but couldn’t do anything else either.
Instead, the internet blew up.
The “romantic affair” between Mo Bei and Yun Shen had also been confirmed.
