Chapter 100: You’ve Probably Misunderstood Straight Guys
The term ‘No.2 Middle School’ combined with the name ‘Little Brother’ already contained a level of provocation, especially if one added to that the other party’s handsome face and nonchalant attitude.
Mo Bei aloofly laid the other pillow down as well. Her tone was indifferent as she said, “I’ll take the left side.”
“As you wish.” Feng Nai entered the bathroom after grabbing his stuff.
While listening to the sound of water inside, Mo Bei became aware of a new problem. She had to shower here.
Previously, at the base, she would always calculate the time.
Usually, she would finish showering while this person wasn’t around.
Today’s situation was totally unexpected.
However, given how particular that person was about cleanliness, aversion would definitely be all over his face if she did not go to the bathroom.
Besides, that would be too odd.
After all, she was a boy now.
She’d seen her brother interacting with others, and he had not stuck to trivial matters, such as the way a certain person had removed his top all at once earlier.
That was the reaction that normal boys ought to have.
She could not let the other party sense that there was something wrong with her, even if it was her profile.
After the bra incident last time, she now knew that if she wanted to succeed in what she’d set out to do, she would have to be cautious when it came to her identity.
“It’s your identity.”
As expected, once the other person walked out, he threw an unused white towel at her.
Feng Nai’s chiseled chest was still naked. His V line vaguely disappeared into his black long pants. Compared to his previous state, he was even more aggressively handsome now.
The ends of his hair were still dripping with water. When he moved closer, the scent of refreshing men’s shampoo was rather strong.
Men’s shampoo…
Fortunately, Mo Bei had already gotten used to this scent, so she reached out to catch the towel.
Their posture was really not amicable while the towel was handed over. They acted more like the best players from opposing teams at the start of a street basketball match.
Of course, it was impossible for the two of them to get along peacefully, but the improvement was still huge compared to the past.
At least, they no longer wanted to go for another beating.
Even though there were still injuries on their faces because of the incident in the back field, the two of them never went close to each other.
Thus, it was rather safe when Mo Bei showered now.
Nevertheless, she did not lower her guard.
She took the bandage apart and, after washing her body, she bounded it back again.
For the sake of leaving no traces in her appearance, she intentionally did not dress herself very neatly.
Boys were always like this. They paid no mind to what state their top half was in after showering. The same applied to their pants.
As expected, the other person did not take a second look after shooting her a glance.
Mo Bei dried her choppy locks using the towel and reached out, ready to lift the left corner of the blanket.
When she suddenly heard that person flicking his lighter, a coldness that could not be described was in his voice. “Why did you get dressed like that?”
Mo Bei looked at him with an unchanged expression, evidently baffled over what he meant.
Feng Nai added, seeming also rather emotionless as he spoke, “If I did not know that you find me an eyesore, I would have misunderstood your sexual orientation. Why are you dressed like this?”
“Sexual orientation?” Mo Bei paused, her handsome face aloof. “Aren’t all straight guys like this?”
Feng Nai flicked his lighter again, his tongue pressing against the mint in his mouth. “Little Brother, you seem to have some misconceptions about straight guys. What kind of straight guy would pull his collar so low after showering to show off their collarbone? You either wear it properly or simply remove your top altogether. As the captain of Dark Flares, I have to make some things clear in advance. I’m not interested in your kind.”
Mo Bei: …
