Xue Li, with her examination result in hand at a hospital in Province Xin, broke into a big smile.
Ye Zhiqiang was a little dumbfounded when he received the call from Xue Li. She was pregnant? “Are you certain about that?”
“I just came back from the hospital. Will you…… will you be coming over tonight?” asked Xue Li with a hint of shyness.
“Of course.” Xue Li had never been to school before but she is smart. For certain she would be able to learn to read and write in a few years’ time after she moved to the city. He didn’t exactly love his older daughter JingJing a lot but he did have feelings for her. She was, after all, his very first child. Tianbao, even more so. He was his son. For some inexplicable reasons, however, ever since Li Jiaojiao was pregnant, he had an urge to give her the entire world and, more and more, he could not tolerate the existence of Shu Yan and the two children. That was the reason why Shu Yan’s threat worked so well and he didn’t even hesitate before giving up custody on his two children.

Shu Yan immediately found out what happened on Ye Zhiqiang’s end. “Good that Xue Li is pregnant. Now Ye Zhiqiang would give up his idea on Tianbao.”
