Shu Yan planned to check out the flower market when she had a chance and see if she could find any flowers that were pretty and easy to maintain.

“What kind of flowers are you thinking of? My colleague’s wife loves flowers and grows a lot at home. I can ask for some seeds and seedlings for you.” Feng Zeyu figured he could buy some if they didn’t have what she wanted.
“I don’t know either. For sure the kind that are easy to maintain. I won’t be coming over frequently and I don’t want them to die from lack of caring.”

“You don’t need to worry about that. I live right next door. I can take care of them for you.” He had been looking for reasons to have more contact with Shu Yan.

The old lady sunbathing outside had her ears perked up listening in on their conversation. She waved at Feng Zeyu as soon as Shu Yan had walked inside and asked him in a low voice. “You two know each other?”
“Yes. You’ve met her before as well. She is the one who invited me over to her place for lunch.” Feng Zeyu pulled over a chair and sat down. Thinking about Shu Yan in the gentle breeze, the corners of his lips couldn't help but started going up.
“I am old and have poor eye sight but you shouldn’t bluff me. The girl last time did not look like this one at all.” The one last time was much chubbier.
“It is her. She had lost some weight since then and lightened up a few shades was all.” Feng Zeyu explained to the old lady patiently.
The old lady fell silent. She could tell just from the look on Feng Zeyu. He had feelings for her now. Problem was, she had two children.
“Xiao Yu, I am not your real grandmother but I do think of you as my own grandson. I know that you have always been a good kid. You had been wronged in the past but the truth had come out. An old sister of mine asked me if you intend to get married. She had a 32-year-old relative. She was engaged before but the man went overseas so it had been drawn out. The man returned last year and called off the engagement, which was why it had waste so much of her time. She is a nice girl. She graduated senior high school and now teachers grade school. She is a permanent hire, fairly good looking, and has a decent job. If she isn’t a bit on the older side, she would have suitors lining up outside of her door. If you are interested in getting married, I can let my old sister know.”
“It’s alright, Grandma. That will not be necessary. There is someone that I am fond of already.” Feng Zeyu wasn’t sure what to make of that.
The old lady went silent for a little while longer. She hesitated for a long while and finally couldn't help but said, “But, that woman next door is already married. And she has children. Xiao Yu, you shouldn’t make a mistake like that.”
Feng Zeyu smiled a little and said, “She’s divorced and single right now.”
“But… but she has two children.” Naturally, the old lady had Feng Zeyu’s best interest in mind.
