Chapter 355 - Ceni

"What do you want?" a feminine, lazy voice asked in response. The speaker wasn't visible from behind the chair.
There was a fake sky above in which an almost life-like sun shone brightly.
There were beads of sweat visible on Alte's forehead which weren't a good sign considering his cultivation level. He walked over with heavy steps, stopping just behind the chairs.
"We are under attack."
"And?"
"It's almost a grade 3 pirate fleet. They obviously aren't here just for some gold and silver."
The chair creaked and a half-naked silhouette slowly stood up from it. She had long purple hair coming down to her waist, covering most of the extremely slim back. There was an extremely short skirt on her mostly exposed hips which left little to the imagination.
The ample bosom decorating her top jiggled with the slightest shake and her long legs only added to the enchantment.
Alte's expression turned ugly as he quickly waved his hand and a blue barrier appeared between where the three girls were sitting and the rest of the people.
The two girls who were sitting on either side stood up and tied a loose top around the 'princesses' chest, finally covering her top half.
"How many times have I told you to be careful of your surroundings? When will you learn? You are not a child anymore!" Alte reprimanded in a strict tone, a tone one would normally not hear from a servent.
The princess turned around to face him with a mischievous smile. Her face looked like it was taken out of a painting. It was perfect in every way possible, other than a single beauty mark on the left side of her upper lip which didn't diminish her allure in the slightest. She looked no older than 16 or 17 years of age.
"Hehe, relax big brother. Those guys are more interested in you than anything on me," she replied with a wink.
Alte faltered for a second before turning to look at the other group of boys and girls to the left. Of the seven, four were male and three female. But he subconsciously took a step back upon noticing the stark differences.
All of them looked like humans but with a few minor differences. They had longer than normal necks and vague orange and white spots all over their bodies. They were covered in gold piercings.
"The Rurik?!"
Alte closed his legs and covered his private areas even though he was fully dressed.
The Princess and her two friends broke out laughing upon seeing his reaction, but it was understandable.
The Rurik were a race of humanoids that had some...'special tastes'. They were, what some would describe as, sexually active, very active. So much so that their behavior could easily cross the line and be classified as deviant in many cases.
The Rurik were extremely patriarchal where their women were only used for reproduction and continuation of their species. The Rurik men had no interest in the females of their own species, or the females of any species for that matter.
But when it came to males they would not look at time or day, animal or human, alive or dead. Nothing could stop them when they were in heat. They were also extremely powerful cultivators and naturally strong beings.
One of the Rurik boys saw Alte staring at them and smiled.
"Hey beautiful, wanna come play with us?"
"Yeah, come join us!"
Several of them whistled and licked their lips suggestively. A cold chill went down Alte's spine as he quickly backed up a few more steps, "P-Princess, let's go. This place...isn't safe..." and almost ran back out.
The Princess and her two friends followed after, taking their time.
Alte was pacing around the room impatiently and as soon as he saw the princess enter he went up to her and pulled her ear.
"You having fun huh? Having the time of your life?" he asked through gritted teeth while increasing the pressure.
"Big brother, Ceni is sorry! Please forgive!" she responded in a childish voice. Alte looked at her face and saw her crying crocodile tears and begrudgingly let go.
He shook his head and let out a deep sigh.
"You are a princess. When you are out, you represent the entire Kingdom of Edda. How many times have I told you to be mindful of your appearance and attitude? And don't associate with those degenerates."
The Princess that could bring shame to actual fairies now stood in front of him with a lowered head, acting like a child being lectured by an adult, which wasn't entirely false.
Not many people knew this but Alte was a bastard son of the current King of Edda. He had been responsible for Ceni's safety ever since they were children since he would never be able to inherit the throne. To him, Ceni was his actual sister.
"Yes, big brother," she replied in a subservient voice.
A vein popped on Alte's forehead as he flicked Ceni's nose, making her scream.
"Ouchie!" she quickly grabbed the bridge of her nose while a single tear streamed down the side of her face.
"Stop your acting. I know full well about your hobbies, you demented little girl. No one will want to marry a crazy woman even if she is the most beautiful flower in existence!"
Alte wasn't having it as he started lecturing her once again. He had known her since she before she could walk and knew all her tricks. She was a lot of things but innocent wasn't one of them.
"Hehehe," her frown instantly turned into a grin.
"I know I know, but I can't help what I like. Mother said a girl has to go for what she wants no matter what."
*Shake*
The lights flickered as the ground shook slightly. Alte cleared his throat upon remembering why he came here.
"Yeah yeah. Put some proper clothes on. We have to go.. The ship might be lost today."
