Chapter 1389: Such a Coincidence
“Huang Yize, Huang Yize…”
Huang Yize rejected her flatly. “No way!”
Yun Bilu’s eyes darted around, and she thought about how to sneakily get some ice cream.
Looking at how the girls around her were eating so happily, her stomach wrenched in agony.
She didn’t know why, but she didn’t have any appetite at all when Huang Yize wasn’t around her in school.
Even if there was delicious food in front of her, she didn’t feel like eating it at all.
But with Huang Yize by her side now, her appetite improved, so after seeing yummy food in front of her, she just couldn’t help herself.
She thought that it was a wonderful sensation, but she didn’t understand why she felt that way too.
She thought that it was probably because of her mood.
After walking around for some time, Yun Bilu decided to eat some grilled fish. However, Huang Yize still rejected her request. “Have you forgotten how your allergies acted up the previous time?”
Yun Bilu stuck out her tongue. She had truly almost forgotten about it, but Huang Yize remembered it even clearer than she did.
“What should I eat then?”
Huang Yize looked at the menu in the living room on the first floor and said, “Have some noodles.”
“It’s such a cold day. How about some hotpot?”
“The seasonings used in hotpot are stronger. You shouldn’t upset your stomach again.”
Yun Bilu widened her eyes in shock and asked, “Huang Yize, do you have to be so cautious? I can choose a light soup base. As for seasoning, I can just choose a light sauce!”
Huang Yize disagreed. In the end, he brought Yun Bilu to have some lamb soup and pancakes.
Huang Yize thought that lamb soup would warm her body up.
Yun Bilu knew that Huang Yize did all these for her sake. Judging from its nutritious content, lamb soup was indeed a good choice.
Huang Yize knew that Yun Bilu wouldn’t enjoy just eating pancakes and lamb soup. He made her wait in the shop as he went off to buy more food.
Yun Bilu sat in boredom as she waited for Huang Yize to return.
Shortly after, Yun Bilu raised her head and noticed two familiar faces. They were Qianye Ziyu and Zuoqiu Zimei.
Yun Bilu’s mouth gaped. The Zuoqiu family was long gone, and she also heard that Zuoqiu Zimei had gone mad in the hospital. Had she recovered already?
Contrary to Yun Bilu’s surprise, Qianye Ziyu greeted Yun Bilu rather elegantly. “Such a coincidence. We meet again.”
Yun Bilu forced herself to smile. “Yeah, it’s such a coincidence.”
After speaking, she stopped talking to Qianye Ziyu, and her gaze fell on Zuoqiu Zimei.
Qianye Ziyu was afraid that a conflict would arise, so he said, “She’s not very mentally stable. She’s clear-headed sometimes, but crazy otherwise. She’s forgotten about many things. I brought her out to walk around, hoping that it’ll improve her mental state.”
Yun Bilu narrowed her eyes and examined Zuoqiu Zimei closely. Zuoqiu Zimei did look rather unstable, but she refused to believe that she had truly lost her mind.
She had bad blood with Zuoqiu Zimei. Seeing that Zuoqiu Zimei had become like this, she thought she ought to be more cautious.
Yun Bilu nodded to Qianye Ziyu and said, “Go and continue walking around then. I’ll leave first!”
Qianye Ziyu smiled vaguely. “You’re leaving without even eating. Are you trying to avoid me?”
A cold glint flashed across Yun Bilu’s eyes. With a sharp look on her face, she answered, “Qianye Ziyu, we’re not that close, so just mind your own business. Even if I’ve ordered food and paid for it, I can still leave if I don’t want to eat anymore.”
Huang Yize had always been afraid that she was too naive and trusted others too easily. However, Yun Bilu could read other people very well. She knew who she could trust and those who she absolutely couldn’t.
