"Mrs. Green."
Cara was surprised that Nicole came to pick them up. So, she walked to Nicole quickly.
Laurence was also stunned when he saw Nicole. But he wore a pair of the sunglasses, so nobody
noticed it.
"Mrs. Green."
"You two had a fight?"
Nicole looked at them and asked.
Cara and Laurence both shook their heads.
"Then why are you a long way away from each other? Laurence, be a gentleman and help Cara carry
her luggage."
When Nicole blamed Laurence, Cara immediately explained, "No, Mrs. Green. There are not many
things in it. I can carry it myself."
"Why we need a man? We go out with them, and they are meant to carry our bags."
"Darling?"
Cara's face flushed. She glanced at Laurence. But he remained indifferent. Shyness that had just
arisen in Cara's heart shattered and disappeared.
Nicole said "carry", but Cara heard "darling". Cara did have deep feelings for Laurence, but Laurence
didn't know it at all.
Nicole didn't want to say anything.
"Let's get in the car first. We'll talk about it after we get back. There's a lot of shit waiting for us."
Nicole said disdainfully.
This time, Laurence took the suitcase from Cara as Nicole said, which surprised Cara.
Mrs. Green's words worked.
Cara was upset and followed Laurence.
They got into the car, and Laurence drove.
Nicole and Cara sat in the back.
"Cara, I got a hard job for you."
"Okay."
"I need you to work as my grandpa's nurse."
Nicole looked at Cara and whispered, "I'll take Viola to my grandpa's house. And she'll live there. My
grandpa is an upright man. I'm afraid that Viola will play tricks on him. When you get over there, I want
you to check his meals and drinks every day. Don't let anything go wrong with him. Can you do it?"
"Yes."
Cara was proficient in medicines.
Laurence listened and did not interrupt them.
Nicole gave Cara a listening bug.
"Put this in my mother's bedroom. If I'm right, Viola will not live in the room that my grandpa prepared
for her. She will take my mother's room. I need to know everything she did. Viola hasn't seen you
before. Just tell her that you're a servant at the Shaw's. She won't doubt it. Contact me if anything
happens."
"Alright."
Cara took the bug over.
After explaining everything, Nicole let out a sigh of relief.
"Damn. I don't know when I can deal with all this crap. Laurence, how long will it take to take down
Dominic?"
Nicole leaned against the chair and felt a little uneasy.
Laurence saw her from the rear-view mirror. He didn't know why she was so distressed, but he
whispered, "It won't take long. We can pull out the net tonight if the Masons cancelled the contract."
Nicole nodded.
"Try to get Dominic down by tomorrow morning. I'm going to South Africa at noon."
Laurence frowned.
"What are you doing there? There's a riot. It's very dangerous."
"My son and husband are over there. I can't wait at home."
Laurence finally knew why Nicole was so distressed.
It was because of Samuel.
Laurence frowned and didn't say anything else.
They arrived at the military compound soon.
Before Cara went to the Shaw's, Laurence whispered, "Stay safe. Don't force yourself if there are any
problems that you can't handle. Call Steve or me as soon as possible. I'm in the Seapolis City. I can
make it if anything happened."
Laurence rarely said so much to Cara, which made her very excited.
"No matter when?"
"Yes."
Laurence replied briefly, but Cara was very satisfied.
"I see. You should stay safe too. Dominic is crazy now. Don't face him head-on. I know that he's not
here. But Mrs. Green and you are here. So, he might have come here too, right?"
Cara was not stupid.
If Dominic was abroad, Nicole would not ask Laurence to return to the City. Instead, Laurence would
stay abroad to take Dominic down.
Laurence glanced at Cara. She was very smart and knew what she was doing. He could tell from her
eyes how worried she was about him.
He suddenly thought of Adela.
Adela used to be like Cara. She was rational in front of everyone, but she cared too much about
Laurence.
Laurence paused for a moment before whispering, "Mind your own business. Stay out of it."
Then he got into the car.
This wasn't the first time Cara had heard that kind of words. She told herself not to mind about it, but
she was hurt again.
She could never be Adela, the apple of Laurence's eye.
Nicole couldn't help but shake her head when she saw how Laurence treated Cara.
"You really don't understand women."
"Mrs. Green, I told you that I live for Adele. I should have died long ago. I should never love other
women."
Laurence tried to remain a cold tone, but Nicole could tell that he was sad.
Nicole felt bad for him too.
"Laurence, if Adela were still alive, she won't want to see you like a walking dead."
Laurence paused for a moment and said, "Mom won't allow me to fall in love with someone else."
He was referring to Adela's mother.
Nicole couldn't help but think of Adela's mother, Cynthia.
Cynthia was bad to Laurence after Adela died.
Nicole thought that she should talk to Cynthia when she was not busy.
Nicole and Laurence went to the Eternal Group.
In less than an hour, Evelyn told Nicole that her father had agreed to terminate the contract with
Dominic. They were proceeding it.
Nicole was overjoyed.
"Evelyn, thank you."
"Yeah, you should. Buy me a drink later."
Evelyn smiled and hung up the phone.
Nicole said to Laurence, "Start pulling out the net. Have your men control the hotel where Dominic is
staying. When Viola gets into the military compound, you can get moving."
"Got it."
Laurence went to contact his men.
Cara was right. Dominic had arrived at the Seapolis City. Although Dominic had secretly come,
Laurence was not a fool and made some investigation recently. Laurence had known where Dominic
lived.
When Dominic received Ethan's notice to terminate the contract, his heart sank.
Recently, someone aimed at all his business. Even Ethan was about to break the contract about
maritime trade. Dominic was not a fool. He knew he was targeted.
Dominic remembered that Samuel had left the Seapolis City by helicopter not long ago. Only Nicole
was here. So, it was Nicole?
He didn't expect that this girl could make it.
Dominic sneered. Then he felt that something was wrong.
He immediately called home.
A servant picked it up.
"Where's Viola?"
Dominic hoped that Nicole had missed out on Viola. But Viola had gone to the Seapolis City by plane.
Dominic knew that he had underestimated Nicole.
After hanging up the phone, Dominic called Rebecca's parents.
"Go to the Eternal Group and cause trouble for Nicole now. Tell them that Nicole defaults on paying
Rebecca. I don't care how you do it. Just keep Nicole there. Otherwise, I won't pay you as I promised."
After saying that, Dominic hung up the phone.
Then he called another person.
The man on the end said idly.
"Mr. Dominic, what's going on?"
"I hope you can save someone for me."
Dominic whispered.
"Okay. But what about the thing that you promised me?"
The man didn't seem to be in a hurry.
Dominic frowned. "Don't worry, even if I can't get Nicole down, I will take her to hell with me. Major, I
only want my daughter to be safe and sound. She's going to the airport. I want your men to take her
away. No matter who wins in the end, I don't want to see Viola in the Seapolis City. If I die, I hope you
will treat her well as we agreed."
Dominic only cared about his daughter Viola.
Major replied indifferently, "After I see Nicole's corpse, I will treat Viola like a princess until she dies.
Don't worry."
When he spoke of Nicole, Major gritted his teeth.
Santino sent word that Lillian had been executed.
Lillian was dead!
Zayn was so cruel!
Zayn, Nicole, and Samuel must pay the price for Lillian's death!
Malice flashed through Major's eyes.
Dominic was relieved when he heard Major's words.
"Thank you."
He hung up the phone and began to deploy his men.
"Nicole, Audrey left my daughter when she was a little baby. It's all because of you. Since Audrey loved
you so much, why don't you see her in hell?"
Dominic felt that he was so lucky!
Samuel had left the city.
Dominic started smiling like crazy.
Nicole suddenly sneezed.
She rubbed her nose and said to Laurence, "Looks like someone misses me. Is it Samuel or Dominic?"
Laurence looked at her, speechless.
They were going to fight with Dominic, and she was making jokes?
"If a fight breaks out tonight, don't go out. I'll leave a team to protect you. If you don't show up, Dominic
can't do anything. If something happens to you, Mr. Green might take my head."
Nicole couldn't help but laugh.
"You're worried about me?"
"No, I'm worried about myself. If you get hurt, Mr. Green will kill me."
Laurence stood up and went away.
Nicole was speechless.
"By the way, do you know when Viola will arrive at the airport? Find some people to get in through the
VIP passageway. Ignore the security check. Take Viola away on the plane. I'm afraid that someone will
take her away."
Nicole said indifferently. She had a hunch that someone supported Dominic. That was why he suddenly
attacked her.
