"Yes, you're right in this." With the help of Kevin, I'm just a vase which have good looking but nothing
else. What I want is to be accepted by others depend on my own ability."
She sounded righteous.
Raising the corners of her mouth slightly, Lily lowered her head to take a sip of the tea in her cup, and
then she said in a faint voice, "really? You have your own opinions and ideas. No wonder you have so
many fans. "
"It's just there are a lot of things to give up." Lois said, with a sad expression on her face.
"But in fact, we separated from each other because of a big fight." There was a touch of evilness in
Lois's eyes. She frowned as if she was looking back on the past and suggesting something.
These words aroused the interest of Lily, and she raised her head to look at Lois indifferently.
Lois smiled faintly, but the loneliness in her eyes couldn't be concealed. "You know as an actress, we
have a lot of physical contact. When I was with Kevin, I had a kissing scene. I intended to attend it in
person, but Kevin always asked me to use the substituted actress. "
With a cup of tea in her hand, Lily looked at Lois and did not interrupt her.
"Using the substituted actress is not a big deal, after all it's just a kiss. I can endure it." Lois frowned, as
if she was really dissatisfied with Kevin. "After all, the wire work and all the sense which might be
dangerous ..."
"Lois, I'm not here to listen to you to remember the past." Lily was interrupted her.
Embarrassed, Lois closed her mouth and poured a cup of coffee for Lily. "I'm sorry. I didn't control
myself well." she apologized.
"It doesn't matter." There was always a faint smile on Lily's face. "Let bygones be bygones. Only
recalling occasionally can encourage us to have a better future, isn't it?"
The implication in her words was that, Lois, your relationship with Kevin was in the past. Don't think too
much about it.
A few ferocious expressions vaguely emerged on Lois's face. She pressed her fiercely expression
down and took a deep breath. "Yes, it's all in the past!"
She smiled and quickly changed the topic. "How about your job finding? If not, how about being my
assistant? I just don't know if you will feel wronged. "
Lois acted like both a good person and a bad one.
Lily raised her head and took a look at Lois, it was seemed like she knew about the trouble she met
when she found job.
"Not yet." Lily sipped her drink and said.
Lois covered her mouth and giggled, "Is it because of Kevin? He is still like this. "
Lily guessed that the reason why she had difficulty in finding a job was because of Kevin, but she didn't
expose it. From what Lois said, it seemed that she knew the truth very well.
"How do you know?" Emily asked, pretending to be curious.
"I'm kind of familiar with Jean. She hasn't changed a bit even after so many years." Lois smiled gently.
Suddenly, she seemed to think of something and looked Lily surprised. "Don't You... Know? "
Lily's face turned gloomy, but soon it cleared up. "It should not be the reason for Kevin. I don't have
much working experience. Companies are kind of picky about finding new employees."
"You can go to Qin group. Jean can't let you be wronged." Tina picked up the coffee cup and took a sip.
She said as usual, "Jean always sends people to the Qin group..."
She stopped immediately.
Lily thought at this point she should be surprised or rather angry, but she said immediately straightened
Lois's face with no emotion, "really? Never heard of it. "
Then, with one hand on her chest, Lois said, "Then, you just pretend that you didn't hear me."
"Yes." Lily replied.
At this moment, Lois did not know what to say as she had prepared the lines for the game but didn't
expect that Lily didn't act like her thought.
"Well, I have accepted your apology, and it's cleat between us." Putting down the chopsticks, Lily
picked up the handbag beside her and was about to leave.
Apparently, Lois didn't expect Lily's response, "well... We will... "
"I don't think we will have any connections in the future." Lily said with a smile.
Don't think about be a good friend just after a meal. They will never be friends.
Hearing Lily's words, Lois paused for a while. She intended to be closer with Lily at this time.
"How about this?" Then, she turned around, took two movie tickets out of her bag and handed them to
Lily, "Hey, I sincerely intend to make friends with you. Here is the tickets of my movie. You can go with
Kevin then."
But Lily didn't pick them up.
Lois switched her tone, "Of course. It's okay if you want to come with your friends."
'friend?'
These two words reminded Lily of Hana. Unfortunately, they were not real friends.
"Take it, please!" Seeing the hesitation on Lily's face, Lois stuffed it directly into her hand and stood up.
"Do you want me to send you back?"
"No, thanks." Looking at her ingratiating attitude, Lily could not always show a cold face.
"Let's go together. I'm going in the same direction anyway." Lois said. She didn't mind being refused by
Lily.
But before she could refuse, Lois had taken her hand. Lily frowned and didn't show her dislike to Lois.
After they walked out of the room, just at the corner, Lois suddenly shouted in surprise.
She then turned to look in the direction where Lois was looking and saw the figure of Kevin. And in his
arms, there was a beautiful woman.
It seemed that Lois did this for the sake of Lily. She stood in front of Lily and said with a guilty
conscience, "Lily, how about we take the elevator on the other side?"
The light from Lily's eyes darkened. Though she was quite unhappy to see Kevin with another woman,
but Lily's eyes quickly caught the sight of Lois's. She smiled and said, "Never mind."
That was just what Lois wanted. She had already received the news that Kevin would meet his friend
here in the club and she specially arranged someone to act in front of Lily.
"But But... " "Let's go to the other side, Lily," Lois said, pretending to be embarrassed.
