Chapter 3846: New Invention (2)
Huyan Yichen pointed at the white jade. “You can see everything!”
Feng Wu nodded matter-of-factly.
Huyan Yichen was still shocked. “I can’t believe it!”
Although the image wasn’t very clear or very big, Huyan Yichen still saw what his grandfather was doing right away. He could even recognize the words he was writing.
“That’s amazing!” Huyan Yichen cried out. “You’ve been working on it this whole time! My grandpa is the best refiner in Northern Yan, but he has never made anything like this!
“They’re inscriptions, aren’t they?” Huyan Yichen studied the white jade plate in Feng Wu’s hand.
Feng Wu nodded and tossed him the white jade plate.
Huyan Yichen caught it in a hurry, fearing that it might break.
As a refiner, how could he not be excited when he saw something so amazing?
The prince was equally excited.
As a scheming man, he had come up with a million ways to make use of the detector. It would no doubt help him in his future competition for the throne!
“Show me.” He wanted to take the token from Huyan Yichen.
But Huyan Yichen wanted to see it as well. He couldn’t bring himself to let go of it, so he clenched his fists.
The prince threw a dirty look at Huyan Yichen.
Huyan Yichen pretended that he didn’t see anything.
The prince feigned an angry tone and asked in a low voice, “Huyan Yichen?”
Huyan Yichen was frustrated. He darted a resentful look at the prince and said reluctantly, “What kind of prince are you? All you ever do is use your power to bully me. Tsk, tsk.”
But no matter how reluctant he was, the prince was still the heir to the throne. Huyan Yichen handed the mosquito to him in frustration.
After taking it, the prince imitated Feng Wu and started working on the detector.
“Hey, it’s coming out!”
Seeing that the mosquito had come out of the little cave after the prince had turned it around, Huyan Yichen moved closer to take a closer look. The aggrieved look on his face was long gone.
What a careless teenager. Feng Wu couldn’t help but glance at Huyan Yichen, and she was affected by his bright smile.
Huyan Yichen reminded her of someone she knew.
Just then, the door opened with a thump.
Old Huyan came out.
But they weren’t looking at the old man. Instead, they were looking at the mosquito that had been hovering over his head.
Old Huyan came out and saw that the eldest prince was also there. He nodded at him.
He then frowned at Feng Wu. “Kiddo, are you sure this plan will work?”
Old Huyan had focused all his attention on forging weapons and didn’t have much of an advantage in terms of strategy. Not only had Feng Wu killed so many Spiritual Overlords, but she had also helped Huyan Yichen to make a breakthrough. Therefore, Old Huyan recognized Feng Wu’s intelligence.
Feng Wu smiled. “Yes.”
Old Huyan frowned. “What’s your plan?”
Feng Wu smiled. “You have the right to report to the king, don’t you? Write a memorial to the throne first.”
Old Huyan blushed. All he ever thought about was forging weapons, and he had never written a memorial to the throne before.
Feng Wu said, “Actually, you don’t need to write anything fancy. You can just hand in a piece of paper. It’s just a formality.”
Both Old Huyan and the prince looked at Feng Wu in bewilderment.. What did she mean by that? What would the blank paper do?
