"Nothing. There was a rabbit." Xia Wen calmly restarted the car and drove off. Qiao Mei sat in the front passenger seat and could not help shaking as she tried her best to hold back her
laughter.
How could there be any rabbits in the city in broad daylight? Xia Wen actually knew how to spout nonsense nowadays.
After arriving at Qiao Mei's house, Gao Long realized that his father, Gao Lin, was not lying. Qiao Mei's house was indeed very beautiful and contained many treasures inside, almost like a small museum.
"Uncle, you can stay here for the time being," Qiao Mei said.
"Sure, but I have to meet Eldest Uncle-in-law first," Gao Long said.

The three children led Gao Long into the house to rest. Xia Fan and Xia Xing had actually learned how to make tea. Xia Yue was still young and could only hold the tea jar and watch quietly from the side.
"It's only been a short while since we last met, but the children have grown up so much," Gao Long lamented.
"They keep changing every day!" Qiao Mei said.
Xia Wen sat down and sized up Gao Long carefully. He really could not understand why Xia Wan would fall for such a shrewd person. Gao Long was a man with complicated thoughts and even Xia Wen might not be a match for him in this aspect. It was hard to say what Xia Wan's future would be like.
"Shouldn't we talk about how to introduce Mr. Gao to our family? This matter will be discovered sooner or later. It will be better if we bring it up ourselves," Xia Wen said.

"Hello, my name is Gao Long, I'm Gao Lin's son. Gao Tao is my aunt. I believe that you're my uncle-in-law," Gao Long said with a smile.
