Chapter 1633 One Wrong Move And I'll Cook You!
In the group, Alice is the only one who could put Grey in such a position, and he couldn't do anything about it. It's not like he couldn't try to stop her, but he didn't dare to. Klaus and Reynolds gloated at Grey's misfortune as Alice spared with him for a few minutes. He lost, naturally, but he also tried to force Alice to use most of her strength. The duo stopped fighting and Grey looked at Klaus, his lips curled up and he said mockingly, "You're still in the Second stage?" Klaus's previously happy expression disappeared when he saw Grey's facial expression and heard the tone on Grey's voice. He knew Grey was mocking him. "I saved you, ungrateful bastard." Klaus was annoyed. "Hehe, you wish." Grey chuckled and gave Klaus a disdainful glance.
Klaus wanted the ground to open and swallow Grey up. "Fuck! We should've pushed him back in." Reynolds nodded in agreement. Although Grey is very reserved, occasionally, he tends to show his arrogance. And there was nothing they could do about it because he could afford to be arrogant. Everyone of them could afford to be arrogant in front of other geniuses, but Grey was on a different level, he could almost take them on single-handedly. Of course, it's unsure who would win in a life and death battle if the trio fought him in that manner given their current strength, but to the best of their knowledge, they knew individually, Grey would beat the crap out of them without even trying much. Klaus looked at Reynolds and whispered, "What if we get Void to help? He has always wanted to beat him up as well." One of the biggest issues with fighting Grey is his space element. If that was completely removed, and he's allowed to fight all four of them, their chances of winning is well over seventy percent. Void is terrifyingly powerful. In the group, he could be said to be the second strongest as long as he isn't being lazy. Grey looked at them, and when he thought about Void's character, he could almost tell that Void would take up the chance in a heartbeat. 'I really need to make them forget about this.' "Hey guys, are there any good beasts here? It's been a while since we ate seafood." The second Grey asked this question, Klaus's ears perked up. He was poisoned by Reynolds's food the previous day and has been dying to have a taste of a good meal. "Actually, I have the perfect sea beast we can use for the food." Klaus raised his hand and a brilliant smile appeared on his face. Reynolds wanted to speak, but Klaus stopped him. "After almost killing us do you think you have a right to speak about what we eat?" Klaus glared at him. "Almost killing you guys?" Grey was a bit taken aback, he knew Klaus has a knack for exaggeration, but seeing Alice's expression, he was curious as to what happened. "Here." Klaus tossed a piece of meat to Grey. Grey grabbed it, and his nose was attacked by a horrifying stench. "You guys ate this thing?" He asked, feeling pity for them.
"He cooked it." Klaus pointed at Reynolds. "At least I tried, what can you do?" Reynolds didn't want to take this lying. "Shut the fuck up! The next time I see you even attempt to cook, I'll personally kill you." Klaus yelled at him. "Do you think you have what it takes?" Reynolds sneered.
"Try that abominable act you did yesterday once again and see if I don't knock a few teeth out of your mouth."
Grey chuckled as he saw Klaus and Reynolds having a go at each other. He didn't think Reynolds attempted to cook, and the fact that it was that bad somewhat justified Klaus's anger. If he were in the same position, he would want to break a leg or both. They soon headed towards the ocean, and Klaus, with shocking precision, took them to the nest of a giant Squid under the water. ….
Under the water. When Klaus saw the Squid, he laughed, "Little Squid, daddy's back!"
A fierce battle ensued after this statement. One thing worth noting is that the Squid has the strength of a Fifth stage Sovereign. But with all four present, they were able to quickly subdue the Squid. ….
An hour later. An amazing aroma wafted through the air in the island the group were currently resting. Grey used the Squid to make a soup that was enticing. Just the aroma alone was enough for a battle to start. Given the fact that he likes eating good food, Grey is always equipped with all the cooking materials, with the exception of the meat they will be using for the food. In this case, they used a Squid. "Haha! You almost ate me, but guess who's going to end up in my belly." Klaus was delighted beyond words. It was as if he just defeated an archenemy.
Grey didn't care about this and served them all their plates of food. Void and the bunny leader were not left out. One of the reasons the bunny leader has come to accept hanging around Grey is precisely because of his delicious meals. And Grey has stopped using bunnies to make these meals, so he was comfortable with whatever else was used to cook. The group had a delicious meal, using it as a medium to celebrate Grey's successful breakthrough and being able to escape that deadly situation. The moment the group were done eating, Klaus, Alice, and Reynolds could sense a change in their bodies. "The essence in this Squid is top notch. I'm about to break through." Klaus smacked his lips, stunned by his amazing luck.
"Me too." Reynolds added. They all turned to Alice, expecting a word from her, but compared to the duo who were talkatives, she was already in the process of breaking through. She was currently in a cross-legged position, with both eyes closed. The duo wanted to do the same, but they felt a force from beneath them as rock spikes sent them flying in different directions. "Do you guys want to disturb her breakthrough?" Grey's calm voice was heard. "Grey!" The duo shouted at the same time. They knew that Grey did this on purpose. They were about to go a few hundred meters away from Alice, but Grey didn't give them the chance, he took advantage of the opportunity to release some of his grievances. Hearing them yell his name didn't phase him, he smiled in a pleased manner and walked a few meters away. He wanted to properly inspect the properties of the flower and see if he could find another one. If he could, that would be great. When he thought about the poison miasma, he couldn't help but think about the bunny that wanted to get him killed in there. 'I hate bunnies.' His entire body shook when he recalled all his encounters with bunnies. For some reason, they always have a way of traumatizing him. From his first encounter with the bunny leader, to some of the other encounters he has had with bunnies. It's almost like they were after his life Grey made a mental note in his head, at the moment, the Gnomes weren't his arch nemesis, the bunnies were. And if he experiences another bully from a bunny, he will find them all and cook them. His eyes darted to the bunny leader. When the bunny leader felt Grey's gaze, his body shivered uncontrollably, and he looked at Grey. Seeing Grey's eyes, his heart started to pound. This was the same way Grey was staring at him the first time he captured him. It was as if the eyes were telling him 'One wrong move and I'll cook you!'.
The bunny leader didn't know how he came to offend Grey. To be honest, he has been very helpful to Grey since they got together. Of course Grey has also been very helpful to him, but he didn't think he has done anything that offended Grey during the past few days. He quickly disappeared, getting away from the predatory gaze of Grey. With the bunny leader away from his gaze, Grey went back to his thoughts. One question was constantly reverberating in his head. 'How did that bunny evolve to survive in the miasma?'
It's understandable if it wasn't alive, but from what Grey saw, it was fully alive, which meant that it has been staying there for years at least. The bunny should be around the Mid stages or even the Late stages of the Sovereign Plane. The fact that he couldn't get away from it showed that it was pretty powerful. With Grey's speed, no one in the Early stages of the Sovereign Plane can keep up with him. Yet the bunny did so somewhat effortlessly. He could tell the bunny didn't want to kill him at that time and only wanted to play with him, which made him even more infuriated.
