"Let's just use the first class. It was spacious enough." Yu Qi suggested.
"Yes." The flight attendant agreed. "Well, we need to carry her to the first class section. Can you carry her?" The flight attendant asked the husband.
"Yes..." The husband tried to lift up the pregnant woman but to no avail. "Bring me a blanket." Yu Qi said.
The flight attendant immediately took a blanket and gave it to Yu Qi. Without saying anything, Yu Qi covered the pregnant woman with the blanket and lifted the pregnant woman easily. Everyone was stunned when they saw it. They were impressed by how strong Yu Qi was when the husband could not even lift his pregnant woman. "Let's go." Yu Qi asked.
Everyone gave way to Yu Qi. Some of the passengers wanted to follow and watch but the flight attendants stopped them from doing so.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please stay at your seat." The flight attendants said. Some of the flight attendants started to clean the seat where the pregnant woman sat earlier because the seat had been dirtied by the amniotic fluid. The situation there finally calmed down. Yu Qi carried the pregnant woman into the first-class seat. Grandpa Tang who was just reading surprised when he saw his granddaughter carrying someone in her arms.
"Lower the seat." Yu Qi gave the order.
The flight attendant followed Yu Qi's order. Yu Qi finally put down the pregnant woman. The pregnant woman was crying in pain. Grandpa Tang stood up and went to ask Yu Qi.
"What is going on?" Grandpa Tang asked. "She is about to give birth." Yu Qi stated.
"What? How can she fly when she knows it will approaching her due date?" Grandpa Tang frowned. "She is on her 31 weeks." Yu Qi said.
"7 months. So, it is a premature birth." Grandpa Tang frowned again.
"Yes." Yu Qi nodded. "Please prepare some hot water and plenty of blankets. We will need that." Yu Qi said. "Doctor, what should I do?" The husband asked. "You should stay beside your wife and hold her hand." Grandpa Tang said.
Hearing that, the husband quickly grabbed his wife's hand. The pregnant woman held her husband's hand tightly. The pregnant woman was wearing a skirt. So, it was easy to access. "Madam, please control your breath. On my count, one, two, three, push the baby out." Yu Qi said.
The pregnant woman shouted while pushing the baby out. She clenched her hand and gritted her teeth. When hearing the instruction from Yu Qi again, she pushed the baby out. "Okay... Madam, you are doing great. I already see the head. Okay, on my count, one, two, three, push!" Yu Qi told the pregnant woman.
"Ahhh!!!" The pregnant woman shouted. She used all of her strength to push the baby out. "The baby is coming out. One more push, Madam. You can do this." Yu Qi encouraged the pregnant woman again.
Hearing the baby was coming out, the pregnant woman had a sudden strength. She shouted loudly and pushed the baby out. This time, she also felt the baby already come out. However, the pregnant woman could not hear the crying baby.
Yu Qi held the baby. The baby was not breathing. She immediately performed CPR on the baby. One minute later, they could hear the baby crying. Yu Qi was relieved. She cleaned the blood around the baby, cut the umbilical cord and wrapped him in a clean blanket. She then gave the baby to the mother. "It is a baby boy. He is a little bit small but he is still very healthy despite being born premature." Yu Qi explained.
The couple cried in joy while looking at their newborn baby. The baby was indeed quite small. But they already could see both of their features on the baby. "When the flight lands, you need to go to the hospital immediately. I will sew the part first." Yu Qi said. She looked at Pei Xian. "Brother Pei Xian, can you please take my black bag here?" Pei Xian nodded. He knew which bag Yu Qi stated because he watched her carry the bag onto the plane. He took it and gave it to Yu Qi. Yu Qi opened the bag. It stunned everyone who had been watching her. It was a bag that was filled with everything necessary for a doctor. She also had a set of acupuncture needles inside.
After sewing, everything was done. She asked the more blankets. She cleaned up the area and wrapped the mother with a blanket. "Please call the tower to inform them to prepare an ambulance for them." Yu Qi said to a flight attendant. "Yes, Miss. We will do so." The flight attendant nodded.
The couple and the baby remained in the first-class section. Yu Qi went to the toilet to clean up and changed her clothes because it was already dirty with blood. It was a new experience for Yu Qi to assist the woman in giving birth to her newborn baby. To be honest, she was surprised to see a strong premature baby. He really wanted to see his parent and the world. Yu Qi came out of the toilet. She went to check the baby again. It seemed the baby had been fed with his mother's milk. "Doctor, thank you." The mother thanked Yu Qi.
"No need to thank me. You are the one who did the hard work." Yu Qi said.
