Exactly two o'clock in the morning..
There is a man wearing a black windbreaker and a loose black pants, leaning beside a tree in a remote corner of the street with no street lights and no security camera, and the only thing that could see the man is probably the tree, the small insects and the moon hanging above the night sky.
And on his hands are two kitchen knives, playing with them as the knives twirled around his palms.
His surroundings was eerily quiet, with some occasional sounds from the insects around him, that at least confirms that he is still in the world of the living.
"Hmm...they should be here by now," the man muttered under his breath as he looked towards the street corner from his left that lead towards the city center of this huge city.
"They're here" the man said as he crouched down when he heard footsteps and muffled voices coming towards his direction.
A pair of eyes hiding in the shadows observed the five people moving quietly through the help of the darkness.
"That bastard, tonight he'll die for humiliating me" a familiar sounded, along with the sound of teeth being grinded together.
"Don't worry Kevin, we'll make sure to torture him before killing him"
"Yeah, kekeke, we'll make sure he'd beg for his death like the others before him"
"Hmmp! As long as we kill that guy, I'll make sure to complete the end of my bargain"
"Of course"
All of them started talking like murdering someone isn't a big deal to them.
"Bunch of idiots"
Suddenly, a shadow darted from the side and arrived behind one of their companions.
"Confess your sins in hell"
A cold sounded from behind them, as a gush of blood splashed on their faces when they turned back, and only to see one of their friend slumping on the ground lifelessly!
"W-who are you!?" someone suddenly shrieked in fear, as their so called arrogance from earlier was replaced with fear.
"Death!"
"Ahh! Help!"
"M-mercy!"
And the only thing they saw was a blurry shadow before them, before they slumped down on the ground holding their throats.
"Hii! W-who are you? I'm f-from Black Skull! If you kill me, they won't let you go!" Kevin stumbled backwards as he fell on his butt, as he tried to claw backwards while yelling hysterically, his echoing in the still silence of this neighborhood.
"Y-you! You're that guy!" Kevin yelled when he finally discovered the figure standing in front of him through the help of the moonlight.
"Yes" Michael smirked.
"If you kill me, my uncle would hunt you down!"
"How would they even hunt me? Have you never heard the saying "Dead Men Tell No Tales"
Michael smirked coldy, before he slashed his throat.
But he wasn't done yet, he started taking their money but left their things on them like jewelry.
"Can't waste free money" Michael smiled as he slowly left the scene while erasing any evidence that would point towards him, as he could already hear the police siren in the distance.
"Oww, my back hurts. I should refrain from doing these things for the time being"
"It's that asshole's fault for being so narrow minded from getting his ass kicked by me the other day"
Five hours and an hour later.
"This is Eric Smith, at the scene of the crime of the murder of five people in the streets of Beacon Hill…"
"All of them died with a single slash in their throats, and the police had come to the conclusion that the people behind the deaths of the five men are from their rival gangs, as two of the victims were identified as members of the notorious gang Black Skull…"
Michael is sitting on the sofa watching the morning news on the TV while sipping a cup of coffee on his hand.
"Hai~ the streets of Central is really chaotic lately" a sigh sounded from his left.
"En, I just hope that a war between the gangs wouldn't happen" Michael turned to look at the woman beside him and said.
"That won't happen dear, even though Black Skull have a bad reputation, I heard they are also famous in the gaming circle" Alice said, as she picked up the cup of tea in front of her.
"Hmm..you can't be referring to the Black Skull Guild that's famous in the gaming circle, right?" Michael raised an eyebrow, as he wasn't expecting that two are really related to each other.
"Oh yes! That's what they're called, I'm surprised that you don't know that dear"
'Well, it's not because I'm really not paying attention to them' Michael chuckled in his thoughts.
"Don't worry about them, they're just one of the small groups of that guild, they won't dare to cause trouble here in Central with the Feds watching them"
'Huh? How come Alice knows a lot about the situation at the dark side of this city?' Michael glanced at her with suspicion, as a small curiosity grew within him.
'Could it be that there's more to them than meets the eye?'
'Meh, I shouldn't pry too much into them, they have already been kind to me for many years, and we'll become an official family today so it's not like I wouldn't learn more about them in the future' Michael thought, as he just shrugged off his curious thoughts about them.
"So, are you excited to finally be part of our family?" Alice scooted beside him and asked, as she put one of her hands on top of his right hand.
"Yes gran" Michael smiled at her, as he put down his cup and gave her a quick hug.
A few minutes later.
All three of them came out of their rooms, dressed formally.
"Oh my, our son has become more handsome" Alice walked over beside Michael as she pinched his cheeks.
Michael, with his ducktail hairstyle goes very well with his black suit outfit, and with his chiseled jawline, sharp eyebrows, piercing green eyes and slim but well built body, intensified his charms more!
"My, my! Now, that's a ladies man right there!"
Tom laughed as he gave a large slap on Michael's back, sounding really pleased and somewhat proud.
