Chapter 711 Ferdinand’s Plan
Kevin looked at Jason in front of him with an indifferent expression. "You say that they want to explore the city a few hours before their departure?"
Jason nodded his head. "They tell me that they want to see everything when they're disguising themselves to avoid preferential treatment. I don't have any valid reason to stop them, so I can only agree with their plan."
It was not weird for them to ask something like this. But the real reason he didn't feel like agreeing was because of the time. They only had a few hours before it was time for their flight. Trying to walk around without anyone to watch wouldn't be good.
"When will they depart?"
"They say that they want to go before dawn."
Looking at the clock, there was only a few hours left for them to arrange the plan to watch over the two of them. This time, they had to watch from the shadow in order to avoid getting found out by the two of them.
"Are they going to go separate ways?" Kanae asked.
Jason nodded his head. "They're from different fractions in their place in government, so they don't want to stay together for the visit."
"Well, this is tricky."
"Let's just try to arrange some cars and so on."
They spent the rest of the night arranging for cars to follow and guard the two representatives from behind. After a few hours, they returned back to their rooms to have some rest. This would only last for a few more hours, so they had to make sure that there was no mishap occurred.
Unfortunately, their sleep was interrupted before they could fully enjoy their rest.
"Boss, the two of them have moved out from their room?"
Kevin frowned. He glanced at the clock, which showed that it was still 4 AM in the morning. "Mark the two of them closely. I'll head there."
"Yes, Boss."
He dressed up and walked toward the room beside this one. He knocked on the door several times.
"Kanae, get ready. The two of them have moved."
Bang!
"Wait, wait, I'll be there soon," Kanae's voice sounded far yet at the end of the sentence, it was near. He could guess that she was running here and there when he called. It only took a few seconds for the door to be opened. Kanae was standing with disheveled clothes in front of him.
"Let's go," Kanae grinned.
Kevin patted the girl's head. "You should dress up properly."
"I know," her hand was still busy making braid for her hair. On the second thought, she chose not to tie it into braids like usual, but tied it up into ponytail. It was much faster and easier.
The two of them headed to the lift as Kevin made another call. "Neo, prepare a car. I'll be going."
"Yes, Boss."
"Is it alright for us to waste so much time?" Kanae asked. They were late by several minutes as the two representatives had gone long before they came down.
Kevin nodded. "We know their destination, so it's fine."
"Oh," Kanae shrugged. "You mean one of their destinations."
"Yes."
…
Mountain
In the area of mountains, there were not many people who stayed there. This city has two mountains area. One of them was located in the center of the city, which was also the place that previously belonged to the four big families and government.
"Sir, there's a car approaching."
Raising his head slightly, Ferdinand narrowed his eyes. "Inspect who it is. If its enemy, kill without any hesitation."
"Yes, Sir!"
Ferdinand sat down with ease on the chair. This was his villa that he bought years ago to live comfortably in secret. No one knew about the location of this villa because there were not many people who knew that he had lived here before. Almost everyone whom he met around this place was killed without any mercy.
The soldiers around him were all his subordinates. After getting away from Lima School, he gathered back several soldiers that came from other cities. They were his acquaintances that he met during his time serving as a soldier in his youth. Even though many of them were several times weaker than him, he needed their help.
'This time, no one can stop me.'
He planned on escaping out of this city that day. Unfortunately, his body was on the verge of destruction because of the medicine and the forceful use of his power. When he was recovering, he found out that the way out of this city has been blocked by the government.
His face was known to a lot of people across the city. It would be hard for him to move unhindered, so he bid his time to rest and recuperate. When the time was right, he would appear once more and forcefully made his way out of the city.
"Sir, it's the representative," the soldier reported back.
Ferdinand nodded his head. "Finally, she comes."
He couldn't go outside the city, but it didn't mean he didn't have any other ways. Before this incident happened, he had called one of his friends from the central government and asked for them to send someone here. He would give them the medicine that they managed to make for ordinary people and in return, they would help him out of this city to live a comfortable life.
A car sped up to his direction and stopped not far from him. A middle-aged woman came out of the car, looking at Ferdinand with a sharp gaze.
"You better give me the medicine that you promised right away," the middle-aged woman, Erica, snorted in annoyance. If the people that she had met before saw her like this, they might not believe that she was the same kind person that they met before.
"Don't be impatient," Ferdinand said unhurriedly. "I have prepared them all for you."
"I'll take them and return back."
"You can't use the same way as you come here," Ferdinand said nonchalantly. "They are following you, so you have to use a different way to get out of this city and deliver the medicine back to him."
Erica looked at Ferdinand with a dark face. She had made sure that she departed before dawn to make sure that they didn't follow her. Unfortunately, her knowledge of the people in this city was too limited.
"Fine, I understand. I'll transfer the money once I get out of this city."
"Remember to not use them carelessly. Every single drop of this medicine is extremely precious."
"I know," Erica stretched out her hand.
Ferdinand ordered his men to take out the goods that he had prepared before. His eyes watched as Erica's eyes shone when she saw them. He knew that several people had known about the medicine and the potency behind it.
'He's leaking too much information to his underling.'
Pointing at the nearby car, he continued. "Use that car and head upwards. There's a pathway to the other side of the city, but you still have to find your own way out of the gate."
"I got it," Erica grinned.
"One more thing, dont try to do anything funny. I'm more than capable of killing you with my men," Ferdinand warned. He would not let his fate lied in the hand of a stranger completely.
Erica has black lines on her face, but she nodded her head. "I understand. I'll be on my way."
As Erica headed to the car, another subordinate of Ferdinand showed up. "Sir, there's another car heading here."
"Stop them."
"Erm, Sir, everyone is dead," the soldier's voice contained anxiousness as he said. The view that he saw before was simply too scary.
Ferdinand frowned. "All of you go and protect Erica. I'll be facing them."
"Yes, Sir!"
