Familiar faces ….family, friends, acquaintances, business colleagues, then a familiar voice greeted
Hannah. Hi Auntie Hannah, how are you? Oh Michael, it's you! I am doing fine and you? I am married
now and my wife is pregnant. Here she is….this is my wife Chloe, Auntie Hannah. Chloe, this is my
Aunt Hannah. Nice to meet you Chloe, I can see your baby bump….do you know the gender? Not yet
Auntie Hannah, maybe next month. I've heard a lot of stuff about you Auntie. My pleasure of meeting
you in person. Pleasure is mine Chloe…..well, it's kind of complicated. Let bygones be bygones. I
moved on, he moved on. It's the best that we could do to get a normal life. Michael's face was so sad
and so was Chloe. Hannah tried to be vivacious, unaffected, friendly and happy but still hurting
inside. Ava came and had a chat with Hannah. I missed you Hannah, join us again on our Tuesday
and Thursday yoga class. We added ballroom dancing after Yoga. It's fun, great exercise and
socializing. Then came Abner, Ava's husband shook Hannah's hand and said …good to see you,

Hannah it's you! Hi Ima, good to see you. How are you? The same as yesterday, arthritis pain all
over, never-ending diet but overall I am fine. Ari helps a lot. He travels to and fro to manage 2 ranches.
I am proud of him, he turned around his life after Cherry left. He is a changed man now Hannah. He is
very responsible in taking care of Aaron, a single father, Ima said excitedly.

So Cherry was not in the picture anymore. Hannah's heart was beating so fast as if it is going out of
her breast.

Well, I am glad he is catching up on your expectations of him, its about time, he is not getting any
younger and has a son to take care of.

Yes, he is doing great! I am glad you're doing great Hannah. I hope you find time to visit me someday.
I missed your company, our exchanges, your fun stories. You're still my daughter, don't you, Hannah

Yael and Raul came to greet Hannah too, they are both excited to see her.

Leslie cut in and hugged Hannah, I missed you girlfriend.

Then Patrick came to hug her too. You look great Hannah! We are so glad to see you….

Hannah's heart is full of Love.

Hannah can't explain why she was very composed and collective. She felt at home with the people
around her. Is this good or bad? Ari was busy entertaining the guests, relatives, and business
colleagues; however, most of the time, he glances at Hannah who was socializing with the guests and
his family. His heart is so happy to see her again after 2 years.

Ari's POV

I will make you mine again Hannah, I will do my best to take you back. I will protect and love you
forever.

It's quite crowded as everyone was seated at the long table to start dinner, Ari came to get Hannah to
sit at the entourage table beside him. Hannah did not budge, she followed him. On her
mind…..tomorrow is another day, I can get out of here as fast as I can.

How are you Hannah? You're looking great! I missed you so much….looking at her eyes.

I am okay, I've recovered. I am happy now. And you? How are you?



I'm a bit better compared to years ago when we part ways. I would say I am a good boy, responsible
and busy working, managing two ranches and taking care of my boy.

Well, good to know that you're doing alright. I've heard that you've matured. Ima is so proud of
you. She depends on you now. Your responsibilities are huge to the family business and to your son. I
believe you can do well. Your family depends on you now. Even if you're the youngest, you proved to
them that you can change the direction of your life. Make them proud Ari, make them proud.
