These newcomers were powerful forces that were leagues above Zhao Zhuoyan.
Looking at the size of the armies, the Blackwater Guardians and Heaven Devouring Guardians were clearly the strongest two powers on the battlefield right now.
The faces on the rogue cultivators changed immediately when they saw their arrival. They knew that their chance of getting the Sovereign Pearl had completely vanished.

She had summoned Chu Qing and Qin Yi immediately and deployed all the Blackwater Guardians that were resting at the moment. They rushed over without any hesitation to intercept him immediately.
Previously, Qin Lian had been severely injured by Li Jingzhe and she lost all her face, having suffered terribly during that incident. Her frustration that had been bottled up had no way of release. Now that such a good opportunity for revenge presented itself in front of her, there was no way she would let go of this chance.
She instantly gave the order to Chu Qing. If they were able to intercept Li Luo, they must snatch the Sovereign Pearl away from him!

For a few moments, he pondered in silence. He stretched out his hands and a dazzling golden pearl appeared in the middle of his palm. The brilliant light it gave off radiated a distance over thousands of feet long.
This was the Sovereign Pearl.
As soon as it appeared, everyone stared at it greedily.
"It seems like I won't be able to keep this Sovereign Pearl today. Unfortunately, I only have one of them. Since both the Blackwater Guardians and Heaven Devouring Guardians are here, who should I hand it over to?" Li Luo asked.
The atmosphere froze as soon as he posed the question.
Both of Chu Qing's eyes narrowed. This was a blunt provocation from Li Luo. Anyone could tell what he was up to. With only one Sovereign Pearl up for grabs, he was trying to make him fight it out with the Heaven Devouring Guardians.

The fat man named Zhu Dahai said with loud laughter.
Li Luo couldn't help but smile when he heard this. This fatty had already thought things through and made his decision.
With those words, Zhu Dahai was declaring to the rest that the Sovereign Pearl was also his goal. There was no way he would idly sit by and watch Chu Qing take the Sovereign Pearl away.
The dilemma was evident.
Chu Qing frowned. The golden and silver rings on his arms slowly slid down into his hands. He looked over at Zhu Dahai, "Brother Zhu, Li Luo is just trying to create a chaotic situation and buy time. If you wish to fight for the Sovereign Pearl, I am more than willing to entertain you. But I suggest that we grab onto the Sovereign Pearl first before we talk about who deserves it. Since you guys owe him a favor, I don't mind playing the villain. I'll take hold of the Sovereign Pearl first and we can each send one representative to stand guard over it. We can fight for it afterwards. What'd you think about this plan?"
Zhu Dahai was a little surprised when he heard his suggestion. Clearly Chu Qing was no one simple having quickly analyzed the situation.

This made it hard for Zhu Dahai to turn down the offer. Otherwise it would be challenging to explain to his side his decision and the higher ups might even question him when he returned later.
"Magnificent suggestion. We'll do as you say." Zhu Dahai replied with a big grin. His eyes lit up.
Chu Qing nodded his head. His sharp eyes immediately turned towards Li Luo and he took a step forward. The 5000 Blackwater Guardians got into formation and a terrifying amount of energy poured into him.
A bright beam of light shot out of his head. Two towering Duke Bergfrieds materialized in the air, each with 9 pillars. A thick amount of Divine Mist slowly arose into the air.
Lu Shuanglu stared at the two Duke Bergfrieds and commended him. "What an extraordinary foundation. This Chu Qing has two Nine-Pillar Duke Bergfrieds."
Although it wasn't as shocking as having a Ten-Pillar Duke Bergfried, he was a top genius to be able to construct two Nine-Pillar Duke Bergfrieds. It was evident that he possessed the requisite talent and if the opportunity arose in future, he might even succeed in forging a Ten-Pillar Duke Bergfried.
Looking at his Duke Bergfrieds, Chu Qing was most likely an upper second-grade Duke in the late stage. This was way ahead of Zhao Zhuoyan, whom Li Luo had defeated earlier.
"Grand Commander Li Luo, are you going to hand the Sovereign Pearl over to me? Or should I take it myself?" Chu Qing calmly said.
Li Luo narrowed both of his eyes as he grasped tightly onto his Dragon Elephant Blade.
Seeing this, Chu Qing did not waste time with any more words either. He stretched out his hands and worldly natural energy in the surrounding shook vigorously. An energy manifestation of a hand that was thousands of feet wide descended on Li Luo's location directly.
Li Luo looked up at it with calm eyes. On his back, immense sword energy began to circulate. Faintly, an ancient sword formation could be seen behind him.
Just as Li Luo was about to summon up all his resonant power to fight back, the energy hand that was falling onto him came to a halt all of a sudden.
It seemed like an invisible force had held it back.
Chu Qing's face changed a little when he noticed the sudden development. He turned his head around quickly and saw a massive undulation of energy coming from the distant end of Black Soul Peak.

The world space in the sky appeared to be torn open by the giant fangs of a dragon. Lights shot out of it onto the sky above the Black Soul Peak.
At the same time, an indifferent voice resounded in the air.
"Try and reach out with your hands if you dare."
Li Luo was relieved when he heard that familiar voice. A delighted smile appeared on his face instantly.
This was the voice of Guardian General Li Foluo.
After dragging it out for so long, his reinforcements from the Heavenly Dragon Peak had finally arrived.
